Incoming Payments Transferring to Controlling

CO Experts,
We recently stopped using table 3KEH to transfer receivables automatically into CO. We are now using F.5D and 1KEK. We still have some old invoices under the old config that we are clearing as we get payments. However, after running KE5T for February 2011 I noticed that for one of the accounts I am not balancing. I received payment in February for open invoices that we transferred during year end. However the payment does not transfers into controlling even when I do 1KEK. I tried 1KE8 to transfer just the transaction this won't work because the account is not longer in 3KEH, but the bank account is.
Is there a way to transfer only the payment to controlling for old invoices that used to be in 3KEH for current month? or do I make a one side entry in controlling for the payment only. Teh payment is received and applied to open invoices thru tcode F-28. Which have a default profit center so the payment inherits the same.
Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Hi
SInce it is a one off case and wont be happening again, I would suggest create the one sided doc in PCA frm 1KEL

  • Posting a incoming payment collection management

    Dear All,
I am posting an incoming payment for an overdue item using the t.code f-28 and transfering the payment using FDM_coll_send01.
The output details is saying that no payments updated for the customer 'x'
If i open and see the worklist the overdue line item  of that customer is not there and in the payments tab also the payment is not appearing it is not appearing.
Any idea of why it is not getting updated...
    thank you

    Mahesh,
The logs are green and to my knowledge everything has been activated.  Mind you, everything is working, including automatic synchronization of Business Partners from customer master data and open items, promise to pay etc in Collections Management.  The only piece that is not working are the payments not coming across.  The table FDM_COLL_LASTPAY is blank and thus they don't come across when you run FDM_COLL_SEND01.
One thought I had was that the reason it is not working is because there is no company code specific data in our Business Partner master data, since company code is part of the key of the FDM_COLL_LASTPAY table.  We followed the following guide to setup the syncing of customers to Business Partners:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b001aec0-b12d-2d10-3faa-b416e6de0270
As a result, when a customer is created, we get the following tabs in corresponding Business Partner - Address, Address Overview, Identification, Control, Payment Transactions, Status and Collection Profile.  I do not see any company code specific data at all.  I have not been able to find any information on how to bring company code level data to BPs.  Not sure if that is the right direction.

  • Incoming payments against sales order

    Hi Experts,
Our client has a new requirement.
They need a new program to process incoming payments against sales order.
They need sales order included in additional selection of F-28 tcode, and clear payments against sales orders.
Could you please guide what all changes required? I have searched on the portal but didn't find any results.
    Thanks

    Hi Juliya
I would suggest to copy the Sales Order No in one of the reference field (Ref 1, Ref 2 or Ref3) through an exit at the time of Billing (Assumption is that one billing document will always have one sales order only). You can use the exit EXIT_SAPLV60B_008. This will be triggered when the SD Invoice is transferred to Accounting.
Now you can use F-28 or any custom program for clearing based on these fields.
Additionally make sure that the field you are using is not changeble after a posting has been done, You can control this through configuration. Let me know if you need any further inputs.
    Thanks & regards

    while simulating the following error
"TAX CODE C2 FOR COUNTRY IN HAS BEEN DELETED OR INCORRECTLY CHANGED"

    Hi,
OBZT just controls the display of the various tax codes in the drop down list if MIRO/ FB60 etc.
You need to maintain the atx coe correctly in FBZP. Go to FBZP and in this tax code and check whether the tax rates etc. have been defined correctly for it.

  • Posting Incoming payments - F-28

    *Tcode> F-28*
I am trying to post incoming payment. The customer is created in company code 1050 but, I am getting this error message:
"The entry 1050 is missing in table T043G"
How do I correct this error?
Please, I need step by step how to solve the problem not just general statement or comment. thanks

    Dear David,
The reason for this is probably as a result of your customizing:
In table T043G-ZTERM you can define a payment term as a standard
for carryforward postings. Please have a look at the documentation of
    this field:
"Standard payment term for carryforward postings
Terms of payment key which is to be transferred to the line
    item when posting residual items.
    Procedure
You only need to specify a terms of payment key here if the
terms are to be transferred from the original document."
You can customize T043G via SM31 or via IMG.
You are probably assigned to a tolerance group that has a fixed
payment term associated with it, in this case 1050.
Therefore you would either have to delete this fixed payment term
from the settings of your tolerance group, or maintain the entry
    in table T052.
You can check this in transaction SE16, enter table name T043G, and
leave all the selections blank except for 'Fixed Term' where you
    should enter 1050.
    I hope this helps.

  • Wire transfer Incoming payment

    Hi Gurus,
i got a scenario to import wire transfer file ( one receives from bank) to sap. usually we have transaction to import the lockbox file (T-code FBL2) in to sap and do posting. Similarly, whether is there any t-code or program for importing wire transfer file and do incoming payments in sap.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Think the below would be helpful:
<b>Wire Transfer</b> - Refers to a same-day transfer of funds from an account at one bank to an account at another bank, initiated over the Fedwire system. The Fed guarantees to pass value as of the date of the Fedwire transfer is initiated provided the transfer meets all required criteria. Fedwire is a part of the Federal Reserve System Communication Systems.
<b>ACH Transfer</b> - Clearinghouse associations in many major cities have developed electronic methods of passing payments among members and other financial institutions in the region, and of exchanging payments among the ACHs themselves. ACH transfers may be either credit transfers (sending funds out) or debit transfers (pulling funds in). Either the payee or the payor may initiate them.
    <b>Differences between Wire and ACH</b>
Wire Transfer is geared to a single transfer, while ACH Transfer is geared to handling multiple transfers in a batch mode.
Wire Transfer is geared to same-day settlement, while ACH Transfer is geared to future-date settlement.
Wire Transfer is expensive because of their customized one-at-a time nature, while ACH Transfer is inexpensive because of their structured data format and high-volume batch nature.

  • AR Incoming Payments with GIRO Process

    Hi Experts
i have a requirement in my client place as follows:
    1. AR Incoming payment using Auto Incoming payments(like F110 for AP).
is there is possibility to have this customers (AR) Incoming payments using auto run from SAP Standard function. if yes can you pls tel me what is the proceedure.
    2. Customer GIRO Limit
this is for all the AR incoming payments. GIRO is the instrunction to the clients bank to do the transfer from the Customer Ac to Clients Ac. but the Customer will limit the amount to be transfered at one time. this limit should be maintained in SAP. and at the time of sending the GIRO information, even if there is a open item for $10000, if a limit is maintained for $2000. the GIRO data will consist only $2000.
is this possible. any one come across this problem.
it will be more help full if any one has experiance in this kind of requirement...
    pls advice guys.
    Thanks
    J

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply.
But, as of i know about F110,  its only for AP. If incase if a vendor also maintained as a customer & if that customer ac is having any openitem for AR then only the balance of AP & AR will be payed out in F110. this is what i understand.
I want to Run the F110 only for Customer by itself. more over when i tested the system to run only the AR for a customer who Not a vendor. after running system give a message, Debit balance cannot be Zero or Negative.
is it really possible to Run F110 for Customers. if yes can you give me the steps / things i should look into do this.
once again thanks for your reply

  • Version 4.6c Cross Company Code Incoming payment to lockbox.

In version 4.6c I am trying to find out the correct IMG configuration for processing incoming payments to a lockbox when multiple companies are using one company for banking.  Here is what I have done so far:
Here are the company codes:  2100 has house banks and lockbox set up.
0980 does not have house bank or lockbox.
OX16 - all both company codes involved are assigned to the same Company.
OBVU - Non-bank company code  0980 has 2100 set up as Paying Company Code
OBYA - Clearing accounts have been set up between 0980-2100.
OB05 - Accounting Clerk has been set up for both company codes.
OB10 - Lockbox from 2100 has been set up  for 0980.  Even though 0980 does not have a House bank set up, IMG Configuration did allow the lockbox and house bank for 2100 to be saved under 0980.
OB96 - Forms to be used were linked to 0980
One issue we are having is that when we attempt to set up a Customer for 0980 a field for Lockbox is required to be entered.  When the 2100 Lockbox is input, an error message pops up saying that 0980 does not have a House Bank.
Can someone please explain how to complete the configuration for this type of activity in version 4.6c?  Also should we be using F-28, FB05 or some other t-code to post incoming payments.

    Hello,
You can post the cross company code postings even between two controlling areas. The system does not prevent to post documents between two company codes in two controlling area. Need not necessarily they should be under one operating concern. Provided you have to make sure that you have followed the following points:
In OBY6 - To company codes must be assigned to same Company, meaning that you mus thave created a Company and that company must have been assigned to these two company codes.
OBYA - You should maintain the clearing accounts in both the company codes. Meaning that you are posting one leg in one company code and the other leg in the other company. Therefore, it is required to have the missing legs in each company code.
    Company Code1 - Posting Key 40 - Clearing Account
    Company Code1 - Posting Key 50 - Clearing Account
    Company Code2 - Positng Key 40 - Clearing Account
    Company Code2 - Posting Key 50 - Clearing Account
OB08 - In case if the two company codes have different local (company code) currencies, you may maintain the exchange rates.
You can now go to F-02 and post a cross company code transaction giving the first leg in first company code and the second leg in second company code. Missing leg in the first company code will be posted to the GL Account mentioned in OBYA and the missing leg in the second company code will be posted to the GL Account mentioned in OBYA. That means you will have four line items overall.
The system will post three document.
Document 1 in First Company Code
Document 2 in Second Company Code
    and
Document3 - Cross Company Code Document.
The cross company code document consists of the first company code document number plus company code plus last two digits of the fiscal year.
Hope this must have clarified your doubts.
Please let me know in case if you need further details.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi Kishore
IS-H only generates invoices from a pseudo SD. In SD are seen as invoices entered form an external systems and transfered to FI.. So, no posible to do a FI invoice directrly in IS-H.
Regarding the payment, once the invoice is created in NA30N and correctly transfered to FI, you will see a tab called Incomming, Payments. That tab is shown only when a valid cash desk to the user using the user parameter N_CASH_DESK besides, permitted values for the user parameter are all values that are stored for the field "Cash Desk" in the Customizing table  TN21Z1 (Set Up Cash Desk).
    I hope it helps.

  • IHC Incoming payment - no posting on clearing account

    Hello together,
I need some help with the processing of an external bank statement. I try to read an incoming payment from an external bank statement (MT940). When I post the bank statemenat with FEBAN I get two documents: one for general ledger and one for IHC. IHC posts only on one account (subsidiary) but the posting on clearing account is missing. I also don't find a payment order in IHC0. I've checked table BKKIT but there is really just one posting for each incoming payment. I've activated IHC partner (transactions BF12, BF22,BF 23), customized the BTEs 2810 (BKK_IHB_BASTA_IN_CHECK, IHC_APPL_XBS_POST) in BF 32 and I've entered an FI account for IHC in "Set Up Account Determination for Incoming Payment". Do you have any idea why it doesn't work?
I'm looking forward to your replies!
    Best regards
    Sabine

    Hi Kalyan,
thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I'm still not sure if the whole posting process ist clear to me. I especially don't understand the IHC postings.
Let's make an example. Like you have suggested we have two companies: Company 1000 is the head quarter and IHC is assigned to it. Company 1000 acts as clearing partner for IHC, too. Company 2000 is a subsidary of 1000 and has an internal bank account at in-house bank.
Let's assume that the whole group makes some kind of external cash pooling. Subsidary 2000 transfers 100,- to the external bank account of head quarter 1000. Company 1000 gets an external bank statement including this transfer.
Step 1: First the external bank statement is being processed with FF.5 and FEBAN. Here are the resulting postings:
    GL
       Bank Comp. 1000                     Clearing Bank
       100    ¦                                  ¦  100
    IHC
IHC Account Comp. 2000                  Clearing IHC
        100     ¦                               ¦  100
Step 2: At the end of day the general ledger transfer is executed with transaction F9HI. There are only postings in GL resulting from this transaction (highlighted with >> <<).:
Bank Comp. 1000                   Bank Clearing                 IHC Clearing
       100    ¦                         >>100<<  ¦  100                     ¦ >>100<<
Additionally there are some postings in the local systems of subsidiary 2000 and of the clearing partner (processing of internal bank statements provided by in-house bank).
Everything works fine except of the posting on account Clearing IHC (see step 1). Obviously IHC allows partial bookings. Is there any possibility to enforce a posting on the IHC clearing account?
Hope you can bring some light in the dark of spro.
    Best regards
    Sabine

  • Ranking Order for Incoming payments

    Hi,
Now we have a situation. We are running the payment program for incoming payments.
    We have two banks:
    1. Citi bank
    2. HSBC bank
There is no house bank data maintained in the customer master. Customers can make payments to any of these bank accounts. Now the customers made payments into HSBC (which is ranked 2).
When we do the payment run, the program is applying the payments to CITI but we want it in HSBC.
We tried this by creating a new variant in DME for HSBC & it has no effect on the bank selection (as it is there to control the DME not the payment).
Now we woould like to by pass the ranking order via automatic payment run.
Can somebody help me with this?
    Thanks & Regards
    Raghav

    Hi,
For this you can create 2 payment methods and assign the to the customer.
    Like:
    A = CITI
    B = HSBC
Whe you select  A or B in your payment program it will be use the citi or HSBC bank.
