Inconsistency between tbtco and tbtcs

Hello guys,
we have a big problem after our HWU upgrade.
We have copied the content of tbtco into a new table tbtco_copy before the upgrade to save all the job entries.
After this we have deleted the contant of tbtco. So we had no scheduled jobs for the HWU
After the HWU we have copied back the content of tbtco_copy into tbtco.
But now we have a inconsistency between tbtco and tbtcs. This means that all planed and released jobs are not starting (delay goes up).
How we can start this jobs << Removed >>

  • Inconsistency between ATP and ASCP

Thanks for looking at this message. Bit lengthy but will be interesting :-)
In our implementation we use ATP based on planning output and its a constrained ASCP plan (ECC) .
Assuming that sale sorders are available in the system and they have been entered say last month/ or even few months before with request date as the sale order entry date . We did nt have onhand at the time due to which the promise dates have been Sep-09.
Assume that we have made a receipt from supplier/or there is PO in receiving (considered as available date of today by ATP) . In this situation in case a new sales order is entered today with request date of today provided the onhand or expected receipt today is more than sales order qty , the promise date upon sales order entry is today. We do OM loopback and send back sch ship date from ASCP which gives correct dates (Sep or Oct based on lead times). But issue is in the promise date .
Issue 1: customer is questioning while there are so many existing sales orders which are already in arrears and their request dates are all in past months why does a new sales order get a promise date of today?
When ASCP runs overnight it plans based on request date and the onhand/exp receipt is pegged to earliest sales order and not the new one put in today(which is fine and as expected) , but due to the mismatch between ATP and ASCP always there is going to be mismatch in meeting promise date and Sales performance measures go for a task.
Also there all the customers are sent Order Acknowledgement (emailed upon booking order) based on the wrong promise date which causes lot of issues in explaining to each customer.
Issue 2:lets say onhand is 2 and there are 2 sales order lines one for qty 8 (req date 21-jul) and other for qty 2 (req date 23-jul) . I schedule order line 8 (req date 21-jul) first then ATP promises line after LT (say Sep-09) and the qty 2 line is promised today but when ASCP is scheduling it has ability to see request date due to which it can peg 2 onhand to earlier request date and then wait for new supply till Sep-09. The one with later request date will show ship date in Sep-09.
Have attached the screen shots explaining the issue 1 and 2
    Best regards
    Vinay

    Hi Vinayak
Both of your observations are correct. As I managed ATP development for several years, let me help explain these things to you:
    1. For 1st issue, where a new incoming sales order can get better date than earlier promised sales order, please understand that ATP is based on supply/demand picture at a point in time when SO was originally processed. If supply/demand picture has changed significantly, you need to use a tool like Oracle Backlog WB to manage and re-process currently scheduled SO to re-assess where they should be promised. Once Sales Order is promised, ATP uses schedule ship date to see when material is needed and uses a supply closes to ship date (JIT). If earlier supplies are available, they're up for grabs by new SO.
Thus, the behavior is working as designed and you need to develop your business process to ensure that backlog management is practiced on a regular basis to avoid such issues.
    2. For 2nd issue where you see that ATP isn't using supply to satisfy smaller qty sales order, please understand that ATP is "First-come-First-Serve" and it is working on 1 specific order at a time. When initial order of qty=8 came in, it had no way to know what lies in future or if another SO with qty=2 will come later. Compare this with ASCP which is working a complete set of supplies and demands and can analyze this picture in totality.
I'm sure you'll like your ATP request to come back in few seconds (or may be a min or so) and not take a few hours while you enjoy the hourglass on your screen. No surprise that ASCP plan run takes few hours since it needs to go thru such hoops and try to optimize across these ideas while ATP is a quick answer as what can be done for this in-coming demand considering everything else in the system is frozen.
Please note ATP and ASCP plan serve very different purpose and business process needs to be enahnced to take advantage of best of both these tools.
Please feel free to contact me directly for any further issues in this respect.

  • Splash Screen Inconsistent between CLI and JAR specification

Unlike just about any other java API, the SplashScreen API treats jar-launched and command-line-launched invocations of the same code differently
According to [the Splash Screen Tutorial|http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/uiswing/misc/splashscreen.html]
a command-line invocation of a Splash Screen application would take the form
    java -splash:images/splash.gif SplashDemo
whereas a jar-invocation would allow the splash screen to be specified in the jar manifest with the notation
    SplashScreen-Image: images/splash.gif
This doesn't APPEAR to be inconsistent but the implementation is in fact not consistent.
In the jar-manifest approach the splash screen image is searched relative to the classpath implied by the JAR whereas the command-line version is searched relative to the current working directory. The documentation fails to explain this leading to lots of headscratching when, for example, a Splash Screen works right in a runnable jar but not from an IDE such as Eclipse. If, instead, the image was loaded relative to the classpath (getResource()) then the jar and the command line would work the same.
At the very least, there should be an additional command line switch supporting this classpath-based loading functionality from the command line or failing that, better documentation of what is going on. Neither the tutorial nor the javadoc explains the CLI syntax sufficiently. I spent several hours of headscratching trying to understand this and I'm by no means a newbie.

As long as it works in the field. In fact, I would probably build in a way to disable the splash screen when running from the IDE myself - apparently it isn't even needed to do any work to make that happen ;)

Complaining about documentation here isn't going to do you much good. There's lots of confusion about this on the internet. Just google it. I didn't find anything that gave me the answer, just references to Oracle's documentation which doesn't answer the confusion. That's now been remedied, though, by me:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6906267/debug-splashscreen-from-eclipse-without-generating-the-jar/8087881#8087881
I thank you for your contribution. It is exactly this personal effort that keeps the Java community going...

Oracle really should do something about this.... because Oracle certainly will not. Again: complaining in this forum does nothing. Because like StackOverflow this is a user to user forum, not an Oracle tech support site. It won't be read and it won't end up on a todo list. Sad but true.

  • Inconsistancy between CRMD_ORDER and ICWebClient in search help

In this ICWCShowF4Help - Doco I asked about calling a search help from the ICWebClient. I now have that working but there is an inconsistancy about how it is working in from CRMD_ORDER and from the Web Client.
The search help is the one associated with field CRMT_PRIL_QUERY_ICWEB_MAIN-CATEGORY_ID ie search help CRM_PROD_CATEGORY
This produces a list of product categories with texts from CRMD_ORDER. Inside the Web Client the same search help is omitting the texts and they cannot be searched.
Does anyone have any clues, notes or ideas about this behaviour?
Any ideas or pointers will be gratefully received and rewarded.
    Kind regards,
    Nigel James

    Step:1
In the View  just add the code for a search help, for example
<!-- Code for input box with search help, just replace structure name and -->
<!fieldname by the actual structure and field name created in se11.>
                                 <crmic:inputField id = "ID"
                              maxlength = "40"
                              width     = "100%"
                              value     = "<%= Variablename %>"
                              showHelp  = "FALSE"
                              onValueHelp =
    "ICWCShowF4Help(<%= mpage_context->m_page_id %>_FieldName,<%= mpage_context->m_page_id %>_MaterialText,'StructureName-FieldName','','<%= mpage_context->m_page_id %>')"
                              disabled  = "TRUE"
                              />
    Step:2
Go to se11 create a structure with the respective field and attach the search help to that field and appropriately check exp imp in the field. The important thing here is that the secondary search help should not be used here.I suggest rather define a view and use it in  the structure.

  • How to fix inconsistancy between IT0000 and IT0001 (message PG 837 Change)

    Dear Gurus,
    I need your help!
A user hired an employee on wrong date (for ex. 01.06.2011). Then she run PA41, set correct date (01.03.2011) and skipped change of this date for all other infotypes. Now there is IT0000 with start date on 01.03.2011 and IT0001 with start date 01.06.2011.
When I try to create a new record in IT0001 with start date before 01.06.2011 or to change start date to earlier date, I get an error  message PG 837 "Change of personnel subarea results in change of legal person".
If I try to change start date for IT0000 to 01.06.2011, I get an error message PG339 "Organizational assignment cannot be changed if start date changed".
Is there any way to fix this inconsistency?
    Thank you,
    Oleg

Do the same steps, but instead of EXECUTE INFOGROUP, click on CHANGE INFOGROUP.
Here, delete all the entries and insert new entries for IT 0001, 0002, 0007 and 0008. You should now be able to change BEGDA for all these ITs.
Your error for the legal person comes because of configuration for legal person. Is this an error or a warning? If it is a warning, ignore it and continue.

  • Inconsistency between Bex and Back end

Hello, I have a query about bex issue. I have few fields in my DSO/Cube which has data showing correctly in the back end but in Bex it shows partial of those values. like if i have something like this:
    ZField
    000000000000000000008
It shows correct in DSO table but in Bex it only shows the zeros. do you know why and how to get this to show the whole field value?
    Thanks.
By the way this is a characteristic and not keyfigure.

    Hi Vekant,
If you have not did any speecific thing at query level then value should be shown correctly.
Please try this once and check.
Create new test query on your data target drag and droup your charecteristic.please execute your test query and see if you are able to see the correct value.
    try this.

  • Inconsistency between R3 and APO. - not getting reconciled in CCR or CPP.

    Hi,
We have a PO that is not getting reconciled in CCR and CPP.
    it give the message
Unit of conversion from H to KG for the Product "ABCD"  is not possible.
this PO has 3 products and off which only one is not getting reconciled. rest two are showing correctly in APO and R3.
The conversion is not maintained in material master for the rest for the two products also....
i have a similar set up in my quality environment. i tired to change the PO with some qty and it refelcts in APO immediately..
Any idea on where the conversion is not happening correctly???
    Thanks
    Aswath

    Hi,
Have u activated detailed application CIF log. Can you check the error details in APO using t-code /n/SAPAPO/C3 or in ECC using t-code CFG1.
Can you also try to send the queue using /n/SAPAPO/CPP. CCR will show no error only when there are no queues in SMQ1 or SMQ2 of both the systems and also no queue pending in postprocessing.

  • Colour inconsistency between mac and pc

    Hi
Both my colleague and I use cs4 to create websites. He designs on a mac and I use windows xp. We are having difficulties getting our hex colours right.
He normally creates a psd and then I get to use it to develop the website.
He creates a green square and then uses the pipette tool to get the hex. He exports the green sqaure as 100% and puts it into a simple web page which has a green back set to the hex above.
On his mac you can't see where the square is - ie its the same colour as his background.
On my pc you can see the sqauire???
I know macs/pcs display colours differently.
What do we need to alter so that both pc and mac can't see the sqaure?
    Thanks in advance
    Edward

If you DO go with a PC you might be better off with a desktop than a laptop for Photoshop use.  A.  Photoshop uses a system more aggressively than most applications, and B.  Laptops don't get as good display driver support because usually drivers have to come through the laptop maker vs. directly from the display adapter company.
With Mac systems your drivers come through Apple anyway, so the B section above doesn't apply.
In my humble opinion Apple generally makes better laptops (hardware/reliability wise) than any of the PC companies.  I hope I don't insult anyone who loves their PC laptop with this statement; it's just opinion.  Apple's prices are generally higher for similar performance to pay for that fact.

  • Stock inconsistency between MM and QM

We have QM managed FERT material. So after GR we recieve stock in QI with ref to 04 lot. FERT material is batch managed.
From one of batch inspection lot business posted stock from QI to blocked (350) with ref to insp lot. Now lot status is SPCO (posting complete).
After that user changed batch status to restricted and again unrestricted from batch master(MSC2N). Even user posted stock with inventory movement 701 and reversed same with 702. In short user did couple of movements for this batch and finally stock is lying in QI at MB52/MMBE.
This batch is QM managed and only 1 insp lot exist with SPCO status. I tried to move stock with MB1B - 321 movement, but system doesn't allow because material is QM managed.
So finally I ran program ZQEVAC20, which saws me qty under "MM-Quantity" column. If I click on pencil button then system giving me information message saying "Deficit of SL Stck.in qual.insp 33,441 KG " but doing nothing.
Not sure how can I clear stock from QI? Help appreciated.

Not so sure in this case! The interesting fact to know is how the stock was posted in to QI again?
The sequence that I understood is,
Lot created with stock in QI
Stock moved to Block stock with 350 movement
Later batch status changed and again revoked. (This may not involve any inventory movement)
Material movements were executed for stock adjustment 701 and 702 using PIDs.
If this effect (701/702) was reconciled properly then the stock should be in Block only.
I suggest to raise it to OSS as you have already tried with note 48815
    Anand

  • Document Restrictions Summary Inconsistant Between Acrobat and Reader

When I view a PDF's restrictions summary (File>Properties>Security) in Acrobat Pro it tells me that everything is allowed, yet that same PDF opened in Reader shows that assembly, commenting, signing, and template creation are not allowed.  Why?
I make maps for the company I work for and I want people to be able to use the Geo Measuring tool using the Reader only.  When I send them a map with no restrictions, Adobe Reader tells them that I've placed all sorts of restrictions on the document.  I don't get it.  Please help!

    When I view a PDF's restrictions summary
(File>Properties>Security) in Acrobat Pro it tells me that
everything is allowed, yet that same PDF opened in Reader shows that
assembly, commenting, signing, and template creation are not allowed.
    Why?
In this case Adobe Reader can't assembly, comment, sign, or create templates.

  • Playback is inconsistent between original and test disc

I have created a DVD and just received the test disc. Before we sent it off to replication when we tested the DVD both in the simulator and the Apple DVD player everything worked as it should. We couldn't burn a disc ourselves because it was a DVD-9.
So we have set button highlight markers so that when a commercial is playing you can hit enter and then jump to a longer commercial and then jump back to the original program.
The problem is we can't pause the video in either one of those sections. The first commercial is on the main track and no user functions are disabled. The second part that you jump to is on another track where the ability to scan and chapter both forwards and backwards IS disabled... Nothing else.
Well when we watch the test disc from replication we can't pause in either of those sections.
I checked the project in DVDSP and everything is as it should be. When I simulate it I can pause. When I play the Video TS folder on the DVD player I can pause. SO why is the test disc different?
I am assuming this is a problem on the DVDSP end and not on the replicator's part. So what do I do?

I basically set up 1 track which is all of the main "play all" content. There's 3 stories set up for that track. So if you hit play all or either of the variations of the Play All we have created those are covered.
The commercials are set up within those with their buttons. Now if you press enter while the button over video is there the pieces you jump to are on another track. There are also stories set up for that track that coincide with the stories on the main track.
The only UOP that's disabled is on that second track. I disabled the scan forward/backward and the chapter forward/back. If I hadn't disabled them then you could scan forward to the next piece of video, which I did not want.
    I used no scripting.
We have contacted another 3rd party replicator which backed up what our replicator said... That its an authoring issue.
So we made some calls and found a professional authoring house. They seemed to feel that perhaps we hit the wall with what DVDSP can do with regards to the functionality we are looking for. They said that DVDSP basically over simplifies certain commands which require more in depth scripting and what not. They said we would need a program like Sonic to do what we needed. So that is where we are with that.
On a side note I cut out half of our content and burned a disc to test on various players. And that disc was buggy as well, working on some players while not working on others.
Some of the buttons over video worked for about half of the time while others didn't. Also, Some of the buttons which did work only worked for about 3/4 of the button. Meaning, if I had a 2 minute chapter with a button over video over the entire 2 minutes, the button only worked for the first minute and a half and for the last 30 seconds nothing happened when you activated the button.
So the only progress I have made is that the problems lies on our end.

  • 16:9 Inconsistent Between TV and Computer

I have a movie which has been edited on a very small budget for a charity of which I am a trustee. It is in 16:9 PAL in Final Cut Express 3.5.
I exported it as a referenced Quicktime movie (not using QT conversion).
I created an iDVD project in 16:9.
The movie appears in iDVD squashed to 4:3. But the resultant DVD plays on a TV through a DVD player correctly; however, on a computer using DVD player software it plays squashed, just as it does in iDVD.
So, back to the internet. I found this post on this forum:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2163719&tstart=45
and a couple of others, where SDMacuser linked to a workflow which uses Quicktime Pro. Since I don't have Quicktime Pro I tried the Anamorphicizer download he also linked to and re-built the iDVD project.
The movie now appears correct in iDVD, and the resulting DVD plays correctly on a computer. But it is stretched horizontally when viewed on a TV.
Since the DVD is for a restricted distribution to people who may use either means of viewing it, it needs to work both on a computer and on a TV/DVD player.
    a) if I export the movie as a self-contained Quicktime movie before importing it to iDVD will this overcome the problem?
    b) If I invest in QT Pro will this do it?
    c) Or do I need a more professional DVD authoring programme?
    d) A final workaround would be to add a top-level menu in iDVD with separate (identical) sub-menus for computer and TV, but this would look unprofessional (the movie is only 30 mins so the two versions would fit on a single DVD).
I'm sure there must be a way around the problem - it doesn't happen on consumer DVDs, they play on both platforms.
I have to say that I find it amazing that Apple haven't thought to make their own pieces of software mutually compatible in this respect. I'm also amazed that I haven't been able to find an answer on the Internet.
    Best regards
    Patrick Cunningham

    SDMacUser
Thank you for the rapid response!
Unfortunately we don't have a budget for fully pro applications, unless/until we can find a backer for a longer video project.
This seems like such a small problem. Is there anyone who understands the structure behind how the anamorphic/16:9/4:3 settings are stored? Presumably it is just a matter of a tag in the file headers?
I come from a stills/Photoshop/Lightroom background, where we are able to manipulate the metadata associated with files directly, using a couple of fairly techhie applications, so it seems odd that there is no way of 'tinkering under the hood (or bonnet, as we say here in the UK!)' to tweak the settings.
It seems as though there are at least two flags that need to be set, and they have become out of sync - though why Apple should choose to use different flags in different apps - from the same software developer, which is supposed to be 'the' media developer! - with no straightforward way to synchronise them, is very strange.
I've not used Apple's technical support for FCE or iDVD. Is there any chance they might be able to help?
By the way, I also purchased the Snow Leopard upgrade, but I haven't installed it yet because I noted that one poster here found that anamorphicizer doesn't work under SL - is this still so?

  • Difference in Quantity and amount between PO and invoice

    Dear Experts,
In my implementation, the customer puts water in the finished material BOM and wants to issue it to the production. So we made a fake PO with the required quantity and received its quantity in the inventory. The problem faces us when the monthly water invoice comes from the water company and we want to invoice in "MIRO" with reference to the purchase order. Always the quantity and amount in the incoming invoice are different from the ones in the purchase order. Please, Advise.
    Thanks,
    Magdy.

    Hi all ;
I think that you procure water which is used your BOM. You get invoices periodically but there is inconsistency between PO and Invoice quantity and amount.
You can benefit from M8 system messages , i created a document M8 messages for incoming invoices with tolerances that might be helpful.
If it is used in BOM, i do not think so relation pipeline material process...

  • TASKS app is inconsistent btwn Handheld and Desktop

HI, I have a Palm TX with 5.2 Palm OS and a 6.2 Desktop.
With respect to the Tasks appliction, there is inconsistency between handheld and desktop.
On the Desktop, Tasks with due date in the future can be suppressed with the "Show Only Due Item" option checked.
However, on the handheld, this option is not available. This causes ALL my future tasks to be displayed on the handheld rendering Task list difficult to process.
Any solutions to this issue? Have others faced similar problem? (are you all as frustrated as I am?!)

    Hi,
Firstly, how to you reach the server from Internet, via host name, public IP address or VPN?
If you need to remote to the server via host name, can you nslookup the host name and get the correct public IP address of it?
Do you install the AD DS role on the server? Please let us know if you need the active directory environment.

  • Inconsistency between get-childitem -include and -exclude parameters

    Hi,
    Powershell 2.0
Does anyone else consider this a minor design bug in the Get-ChildItem command?
    # create dummy files
    "a","b","c" | % {$null | out-file "c:\temp\$_.txt"}
    # this "fails", returns nothing
    get-childitem c:\temp -include a*,b*
    # this "works", returns desired files
    get-childitem c:\temp\* -include a*,b*
    # this "works", excludes undesired files
    get-childitem c:\temp -exclude a*,b*
    # this "fails", excludes undesired files BUT RECURSES sub-directories
    get-childitem c:\temp\* -exclude a*,b*
I'm writing a wrapper script around the GCI cmdlet, but the inconsistency between the two parameters is problematic.  My end user will surely just type a path for the path parameter, then wonder why -include returned nothing.  I can't unconditionally
add an asterisk to the path parameter, since that messes up the exclude output.
I'm just wondering why Microsoft didn't make the parameter interaction consistent???
    # includes desired files in the specified path
    get-childitem -path c:\temp -include a*,b*
    # excludes undesired files in the specified path
    get-childitem -path c:\temp -exclude a*,b*
    # combine both options
    get-childitem -path c:\temp -include a*,b* -exclude *.log,*.tmp
    # same as above, the asterisk doesn't matter
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -include a*,b*
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -exclude a*,b*
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -include a*,b* -exclude *.log,*.tmp
    # same as above, but explicitly recurse if that's what you want
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -include a*,b* -recurse
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -exclude a*,b* -recurse
    get-childitem -path c:\temp\* -include a*,b* -exclude *.log,*tmp -recurse
If I execute the "naked" get-childitem command, the asterisk doesn't matter...
    # same results
    get-childitem c:\temp
    get-chileitem c:\temp\*
If this isn't considered a bug, can you explain why the inconsistency between the two parameters when combined with the -path parameter?
    Thanks,
    Scott

The Get-ChildItem cmdlet syntax is horrific for advanced use. It's not a bug in the classic sense, so you shouldn't call it that. However, feel free to call it awful, ugly, disastrous, or any other deprecatory adjective you like - it really is
    nasty.
Get-ChildItem's unusual behavior is rooted in one of the more 'intense' dialogues between developers and users in the beta period. Here's how I recall it working out; some details are a bit fuzzy for me at this point.
Get-ChildItem's original design was as a tool for enumerating items in a namespace -
similar to but not equivalent to dir and
ls. The syntax and usage was going to conform to standard PowerShell (Monad at the time) guidelines.
In a nutshell, what this means is that the Path parameter would have truly just meant Path - it would not have been usable as a combination path specification and result filter, which it is now. In other words
    (1) dir c:\temp
means you wanted to return children of the container c:\temp
    (2) dir c:\temp\*
means you wanted to return children of all containers inside
c:\temp. With (2), you would never get c:\tmp\a.txt returned, since a.txt is not a container.
There are reasons that this was a good idea. The parameter names and filtering behavior was consistent with the evolving PowerShell design standards, and best of all the tool would be straightforward to stub in for use by namespace
    providers consistently.
However, this produced a lot of heated discussion. A rational, orthogonal tool would not allow the convenience we get with the dir command for doing things like this:
    (3) dir c:\tmp\a*.txt
Possibly more important was the "crash" factor.  It's so instinctive for admins to do things like (3) that our fingers do the typing when we list directories, and the instant failure or worse, weird, dissonant output we would get with a more pure Path
parameter is exactly like slamming into a brick wall.
At this point, I get a little fuzzy about the details, but I believe the Get-ChildItem syntax was settled on as a compromise that wouldn't derail people expecting files when they do (3), but would still allow more complex use.  I think that this
is done essentially by treating all files as though they are containers for themselves. This saves a lot of pain in basic use, but introduces other pain for advanced use.
This may shed some light on why the tool is a bit twisted, but it doesn't do a lot to help with your particular wrapping problem. You'll almost certainly need to do some more complicated things in attempting to wrap up Get-ChildItem. Can you describe some
details of what your intent is with the wrapper? What kind of searches by what kind of users, maybe? With those details, it's likely people can point out some specific approaches that can give more consistent results.
