Incorrect process dependencies

Hi,
when I just wanted to remove an application, the workbench warned me that there is one application that has dependencies on it. Because I knew there shouldn't be any, I searched through the processes but found nothing. When I looked at the process_dependency files I saw that there is one process listing a subprocess of the other application, named invoke9.
I went to the process in the editor two more times and even searched the .process xml file but there is no such subprocess.
Is there a way to remove this dependency or let livecycle rebuild the dependencies or whatever? I learned from the past that editing xml files mostly result in corrupted processes the editor won't open anymore. In this case however it seems that livecycle just ignores the changes (I removed the dependency in the xml) and reverts the file.
Thanks for your help!

Philipp

I have the same problem.

  • Output 'incorrectly processed', 'output could not be issued'

    Hi,
We trying to trigger a Bill of Lading custom Z print output type. This output was working correctly for some time and now it has started failing. When we try to issue the output through screen option it gives message 'output could not be issued'. But we are not able to figure it out as why this message is appearing even though all output configuration is good. The same output is triggering if we make some changes in the shipment change transaction(although changes are not relevent for the output parameters) but this behaviour is not constant as output triggers some time after the changes and some time may not.
When we try to retrigger the output type using messages option on the shipment, error appears as 'incorrectly processed'.
Please suggest as why this output type is behaving like this. Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sharan

if it worked well in the past, then I would check if there was a change in the print program or in the form or in customizing, further I would investigate if this could be triggered from "outside" e.g. implementing OSS notes, activate business functions etc.
If you know the date when it started failing, then checking the transports of changes prior to this event in SE10 could be a good starting point.

  • RSPPFPROCESS - mail not triggering for incorrectly processed PO

    Hi All,
I tried executing the RSPPFPROCESS by giving a variant but I am not able to get the details of any incorrectly processed purchase orders in the output.
The RSPPFPROCESS  program functions in such a way that if a PO is unsuccessfully processed, then on executing the RSPPFPROCESS program with status "Unsuccessfully Processed" a mail will be triggered to the creators whose POs were incorrectly processed.
But this is not happening in my case, the mail is not getting triggered at all.
    The variant details are:
    Application : BBP_PD
    Action Profile : BBP_PD_PO
    Action Definition : STANDARD_PO
    Promotion status : 2 (ie)incorrectly processed
    Processing type : MET
Time of Processing : Processing when saving document
The radio buttons: Ignore "Repeat" flag and Ignore "Generated Manually" flag are checked.
The check box "Number of Actions Outputted" is checked.
    Please help.
    Thanx in advance.

    Hello Prasath,
Please check your configuration on ERP/ECC
side in transaction SWETYPV. Here you can enable or disable the
event type linkage for BUS2012 and for CL_SE_PUR_PO_WF_OUT or any
customer-specific business object related to Purchase Orders which might
be in use. If you disable the event linkage for CREATE and/or change
event, no message will be triggered upon PO creation.
If this is not sufficient for your business process the usual logic is
that all Purchase Order message are being sent out when the event
linkage is active (e.g. you want to send out only some of the message
types possible). In this case you might want to make use of BAdI
    PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT (enhancement spot / BAdI)."
    Enhancement Spot: PUR_SPOT_SE_PURCHASE_ORDER
    BAdI Definition:  PUR_SE_PO_INTERFACE_OUT_SELECT
    Interface:        IF_PUR_SE_PO_IF_OUT_SELECT
    BADI definition   PUR_APPL_SE_POCONF_IN_ASYN
Also in the standard, for the following messages
       PurchaseOrderChangedInformation_Out
       PurchaseOrderERPRequest_Out_V1
       PurchaseOrderERPConfirmation_Out
we are sending out these information as soon as a purchase Order is
created. We do not distinguish between the services all of them will be
    triggered.
    Hope this hepls

    Hi Experts,
We are using SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 , while notifying bidders through email (by clicking on send notification button in portal), the success notification message is displayed in portal, but when we see in output medium the status of email is shown as incorrectly processed and no email is sent to bidder. when we try to repeat the output ( by clicking the repeat output button) the email is sent to bidders and the status changed to successfully processed .
Please let me know why the email is not sent when the send notification button is clicked . Did we  miss any config , please suggest how to proceed further.
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Aishwarya,
Please check the following in your system:
    Execute the transaction 'bbp_po_action_def'
In the Action profile select 'BBP_PD_BID' and double click on "Action
    Definition'.
Double click on the standard bid.
Make sure that the processing time is set to 'Processing when saving

  • PO output message (Fax) showing status- incorrectly processed.

    Hello,
I'm unable to send the PO output through fax.
Processing status shows- "2 incorrectly processed".
I checked the fax number and necessary configs and are correct. Moreover there are two messages triggered for same Po. one is processed while the other one is getting error.
Can anybody suggest what might be the issue?

    Hi Nilesh,
Can you see from SOST how many attempts were made to send the fax? Sounds like the fax number was busy at the time, preventing the fax from being sent. If 2 faxes were created from the same PO, were they both going to the same number? If so, this may be the cause as both would be trying to dial the same number at the same time.
If you try and reprocess the message from SOST does it go through? If so, this is definitely an issue linked to the fax number being busy.

  • Incorrect Process builds Pantone Color tables in INDD CS6 and CC.

Why are the Pantone Color tables/libraries in INDD CS6 and CC giving the incorrect process builds?

I did just that in CS 5.5 and I received a different build. I got 100C,84.22M,41.89Y and 50.43K this is different than the builds I was getting before and matches neither.
If you want the legacy definitions you have to follow the directions in the link in Peter's #1 post—delete the new PANTONE + spot libraries, install the old libraries and uncheck Use Standard Lab Values for Spots.
They also provided their brand sheet and neither of these match the readings from Illustartor or InDesign.
If you don't want color managed conversions of spot colors Pantone now provides CMYK simulation libraries—PANTONE + Color Bridge. Those colors are process and will attempt to simulate solid spot colors but for one assumed press profile. Color Bridge builds are still different from the legacy CMYK builds.

  • Process dependencies in process chain

    Hi All,
in one of my process chain i have at the end :
delte index -> Load DTP -> Create index -> Compress cube ->generate db stats
but system is showing this warning
A type "Construct Database Statistics" process cannot follow process "Compression of the InfoCube"
and in table RSPCTYPESDEP i an entry stating that :
generate db stats after a compression of cube "makes no sense but not completely wrong".
can you explain why generate db stats after compress make no sense ?

    Hi Anns,
It is always recommended to keep the create DB stats before compression. The advantage of the DB stats is to improve the query performance as well as loading performance.

  • Incorrect processing status in PR

    Hi all,
We have a situation where the PR is showing the incorrectiong processing status.  The user creates a PR from  planned order.  If the current price is not sure RFQs are sent.  After sendign rfq teh PR processing status changes to RFQ.  When quote is recieved, user may or maynot update the quote in ME47.
After this th PR is converted to PO.  The problem happens is that PR still has status as "RFQ created".  The status does not change to "PO created".
Please let me know what could be issue.  Thanks.
    Regards
    AF.

Just check, there is a system message which do not allow converting one PR multiple times. I mean if PR is for 100 qty and you are creating 10 different POs with ref. to same PR for 100 qtys than by default it is allowed and these case system will only give status of the first document.
As RFQ, PO, contracts are ext. docs, PR will keep track of only the first one which is referenced. As you are creating RFQ, system is expecting that you will recieve quote and it will be converted to PO later.
And as you have not switched on these message for not allowing PR to be converted multiple times, system will allow you to create multiple POs.

  • Incorrectly processed SRM Purchase Orders

    Hi all,
we have just gone live with SRM 5.5 and during the first few days of operation we found that the FAX transmission node in SOST had accidentally been deleted.
We repaired this and Fax transmissions are now going out.
What we need to do now is to locate all the failed faxes so we can arrange for them to be re-transmitted.
The SLG1 log shows that we have had 272 failures but it does not provide a list of PO numbers only the Business Id's of the parties concerned, (which is not very helpful as we are also transmitting by Email) finding all the failed PO's is the problem.
Can anyone tell me what the log table for PO transmssions is called?  I assume that if I can get a list of all failed messages from there I will be able to get either the GUID or the PO numbers.
If I get the GUID, how can I connect that to the PO number using a table from BBP_PD?

  • Is it possible to receive a response message from a output PO process?

    Hi everybody.
We are doing a PO interface between SRM and external system via XI.
When we create a PO in SRM we send it to XI using sproxy (PurchaseOrderRequest_Out message).
But the external system always send back a response.
Are there any way to capture the message and, in case of error in external system, to change the output status from “Successfully process” to “incorrectly process” in our PO document?
    Thanks and regards.
    Raúl Moncada.

    What's ur external system?
If ur external system is implemented in java, u can throw out a exception.
The inbound interface always has a fault message type. I think you can use that to achieve your goal.

  • Business Process Monitoring - Application Monitoring help.

    Hi all,
Through Business Process Monitoring, I am trying to configure monitoring on table NAST, so that an alert will be generated for Billing documents print outputs (application=V3, transm. medium=1) on specific message types, if the processing status is equal to either 0 (not processed) or 2 (incorrectly processed).
I have configured this through application monitoring, using the 'Messages (Output Determination)' monitoring object. Under this,  was able to configure the 2 key figures of "unprocessed messages" and "incorrectly processed messages" with the parameters mentioned above (application and message type).
I set the yellow alert threshold to 1, and the red alert threshold to 2, as I want to be notified each time a print output goes into status 0 or 2, and that a red alert be generated in the case where 2 or more print outputs are not successful.
However, upon activation of this monitoring, I came across the following issue: The table NAST already has over 40 historic entries of unprocessed and incorrectly processed messages for these message types. The monitoring is picking up all these entries right away, and therefore a red alert is being generated.
There does not appear to be a way to configure the monitoring to only look for new entries in the table matching the criteria, e.g. look for billing docs with status = incorrectly processed during the last 24 hours. It seems that unless the existing entries in the table NAST are either deleted or have their status changed to "processed", the monitoring will always pick up these entries and report a red alert, even if no new entries are discovered.
Does anyone know how a way of configuring a date range with this type of monitoring, or do I have to modify the existing entries in the table (either delete them, change their status or set the "disregard" indicator on the messages in the table) before this monitoring will work as I hoped it would?
Secondly - a more general point - although there are lots of good documents on configuring Business Process Monitoring, I have not yet found one which gives full details on all the different types of application monitoring available, and how each of them can be configured. I know that within Application Monitoring, when you choose a monitoring type, the grey box at the top half of the screen gives some good information on what the monitoring does and how to configure it, but a document which captures all these monitoring types in one place would be very useful - if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
Thanks in advance for any help with the first issue above,
    Regards,
    John

    Hi John,
you get an overview about all available key figures in the PPT "Business Process & Interface Monitoring - Part 2" under https://service.sap.com/bpm --> Media Library --> Customer Information. It lists all Monitoring Object and Key Figures with Select-Options. There is no document that describes the setup of every key figure as the setup is too similar for most objects. Therefore the grey text boxes within the tool.
The NAST collector will always pick-up everything older than x days. So you would have to process or delete the olde entries. But it is a good advise that for this rather technical key figure we should think about a delta mechanism like with our IDOC or ABAP dump monitor.

  • Sales Processing

    Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to figure out what the correct process would be for the following situations:
    1.  A sales order is created and copied to a delivery at the time of shipment.  The shipment is incorrectly processed with everything shipping (the shipping department forgot to backorder an item).  They do a return on the delivery for the item overshipped.  However, at this point the sales order is closed because it was accidentally shipped in full and the return of the item does not open it back up.
When the company would like to ship the remaining quantity, how should they do it properly?  It appears they would have to create a new sales order for only the quantity that was backordered and will be shipping, but how will this affect sales history?  And is there a way to link the second sales order to the first so when a report is run or the customer goes back to the order they see it relates to the other order?  Or is a comment in the remarks field to this effect the best way to "link" this.
    2.  And what would be the best process if an A/R invoice is created with let's say an incorrect price?  I understand you would create a credit memo.  But is there a way to do a simple price adjustment on the credit memo screen?  Or must you credit the line in full?  And once the line is credited in full, the AR invoice does not open back up so the line price can be changed.  Would you just add a new A/R Invoice then at the corrected price?  Is there anyway to link the new corrected A/R invoice to the delivery and the sales order manually, so the user can backtrack through the documents in the future?  Or would you only be able to add a comment?
I appreciate everybody's help trying to work through the workflow of the system.
    Thank you,
    Amanda

    Hi Amanda--
There are probably multiple ways to do this, but here are my suggestions:
    1. You will need to create a new sales order in to ship the item that should have been backordered.  Use the same customer reference number as the original SO, and enter something in the Remarks field to tie it to the original document number.
The effect on sales history depends on how you look at sales history.  If you just look at orders, it will appear that the item was sold twice.  But if you look at invoices, it will be correct, because the when you did the return, you closed that line on the delivery, and it won't appear on the invoice for the first shipment; there will be a separate invoice later.
    2. There are two ways to handle the incorrect price on an invoice.  As you know, you cannot change an invoice once it is entered.  You can enter a service-type credit memo for the amount to be credited - that is the quickest and easiest way to handle it, but you are left with an incorrect gross profit on the original invoice.  The best thing to do is to create a credit memo that is copied from the incorrect line on the invoice, so that it is credited completely (the item will be returned to stock).  Then issue a new invoice for the item at the correct price.  This removes the item from stock again, and records the correct gross margin for the sale.  Again, use the customer reference number and remarks to relate the new invoice to the original one.

  • Authorizations setting for running the process chain

    Hai
Iam planning to run the process chain for loading the data into ODS. But i dont have authorization for it.
so what are the authorizations i need to run the process chain in my system. And how can i set all those authorizations to my user-id.  I have all authorization rights .
    Pls let me knw
    kumar

    Hi,
    Authorizations for Process Chains
    Use
You use authorization checks in process chain maintenance to lock the process chain, and the processes of the chain, against actions by unauthorized users.
    ·        You control whether a user is allowed to perform specific activities.
    ·        You control whether a user is allowed to schedule the processes in a chain.
The authorization check for the processes in a chain runs when the system performs the check. This takes place upon scheduling or during synchronous execution. The check is performed in display mode. The check is performed for each user that schedules the chain; it is not performed for the user who executes the chain. The user who executes the chain is usually the BI background user. The BI background user automatically has the required authorizations for executing all BI process types. In attribute maintenance for the process chain, you can determine the user who is to execute the process chain.
See also: Display/Maintenance of Process Chain Attributes ®  Execution User.
    Features
For the administration processes that are bundled in a process chain, you require authorization for authorization object S_RS_ADMWB.
To work with process chains, you require authorization for authorization object S_RS_PC. You use this authorization object to determine whether process chains can be displayed, changed or executed, and whether logs can be deleted. You can use the name of the process chain as the basis for the restriction, or restrict authorizations to chains using the application components to which they are assigned.
    Display/Maintain Process Chain Attributes
    Use
You can display technical attributes, display or create documentation for a process chain, and determine the response of process chains during execution.
    Features
You can display or maintain the following attributes for a process chain:
    Process Chain ® Attribute ® ...
    Information
    Description
    ( Rename)
You can change the name of the process chain.
    Display Components
Display components are the evaluation criterion in the process chain maintenance. Assigning the process chains to display components makes it easier to access the chain you want.
To create a new display component, choose Assign Display Components in the input help window and assign a technical name and description for the display component in the Display Grouping dialog box that appears.
    Documents
You can create and display documents for a process chain.
    For more information, see Documents.
    Last Changed By
Displays the technical attributes of the process chain:
    ·        When it was last changed and who by
    ·        When it was last activated and who by
    ·        Object directory entry
    Evaluation of Process Status
If you set this indicator, all the incorrect processes in this chain and in the overall status of the run are evaluated as successful; if you have scheduled a successor process upon error or always.
The indicator is relevant when using metachains: Errors in the processes of the subchains can be evaluated as “unimportant” for the metachain run. The subchain is evaluated as successful, despite errors in such processes of the subchain. If, in the metachain, the successor of the subchain is scheduled upon success, the metachain run continues despite errors in “unimportant” processes of the subchain.
Mailing and alerting are not affected by this indicator and are still triggered for incorrect processes if they have an upon error successor.
    Polling Indicator
With this indicator you can control the response of the main process for distributed processes. Distributed processes, such as the load process, are characterized as having different work processes involved in specific tasks.
With the polling indicator you determine whether the main process needs to be kept until the actual process has ended.
    By selecting the indicator:
    -         A high level of process security is guaranteed, and
    -         External scheduling tools can be provided with the status of the distributed processes.
However, the system uses more resources; and a background process is required.
    Monitoring
With the indicator in the dialog box Remove Chain from Automatic Monitoring?, you can specify that a process chain be removed from the automatic monitoring using CCMS.
By default CCMS switches on the automatic process chain monitoring.
For more information about the CCMS context Process Chains, see the section BW Monitor in CCMS.
    Alerting
You can send alerts using alert management when errors occur in a process chain.
For more information, see Send Alerts for Process Chains.
    Background Server
You can specify here on which server or server group all of the jobs of a chain are scheduled. If you do not make an entry, the background management distributes the jobs between the available servers.
    Processing Client
If you use process chains in a client-dependent application, you can determine here in which client the chain is to be used. You can only display, edit, schedule or execute the chain in this client.
If you do not maintain this attribute, you can display, edit, schedule or execute the process chain in all clients.
Process variants of type General Services that are contained in a process chain with this attribute set will only be displayed in the specified client.
This attribute is transported. You can change it by specifying an import client during import. You must create a destination to the client set here in the target system for the import post processing (transaction RSTPRFC)  The chain is activated after import and scheduled, if necessary, in this client.
    Execution User
In the standard setting a BI background user executes the process chain (BWREMOTE).
You can change the default setting so that you can see the user that executes the process chain and therefore the processes, in the Job Overview. You can select the current dialog user who schedules the process chain job, or specify a different user.
    The setting is transported.
The BI background user has all the necessary authorizations to execute all BI process types. Other users must assign themselves these authorizations so that authorization errors do not occur during processing.
    Job Priority
You use this attribute to set the job priority for all of the jobs in a process chain.
