"Index could not be created: There are no active http servers known at the

Above error shows up during Index creation on KM section of the portal.
Checked the TREX Admin tool for Http connection . Pop up Error saying "IIS not installed. Configuration of Http communication not possible ".
Environment : TREX 7.1 revision 43 on Windows 2003 64 Bit platform.
During installation of standalone TREX , there were no option to select "http server".
Please suggest, if i am missing some thing in the setup or configuration here.

1.) You need to make sure that the server you are installing TREX on, also has a Web Server. In your case, Internet Information Services (IIS 6.0) which comes with Windows Server 2003. Once this is installed make sure that it is working (http://hostname or IP).
2.) TREX 7.1 Rev 43 is very mature and does not involve many steps during installation. Your only option is to choose whether you want to install it or not.
3.) Setup of the "http connection" or "ABAP connection" is done after TREX installation. This is done straight from TREX Administrator.
Here is my suggestion:
1.) Install IIS 6.0 (http://www.windowsreference.com/windows-server-2003/step-by-step-guide-how-to-install-iis-60-in-win-server-2003/)
2.) Reinstalling of TREX is higly recommended but you can try it with the current installation.
3.) Open up TREX Administrator (trexadmin.bat) and proceed with create IIS Websites for TREX 7.10. The steps are located under the heading "Configuring the TREX Web Server" in the installation document.
4.) After this, go on with Indexing.

I have gone into se14 the index name exists but the index doesn't exist on the database. I've tried using the Create to create teh index on the databse but that fails with a name may already exist.
How to I clear these errors?

These seem to be the key.... but...
I ran the scripts in 1180553 ... no change in the errors. In fact, there isn't a dbo.[TATAF~] table and the dbo.[TATAF] table doesn't have the 'With fillfactor" entry. So i wonder if I'm at a different phase?
I'm looking at 1365755 and think I'd like to give that one a try, but it says to unpack the ZIP file in the <upgr dir>\abap\bin directory. Well there isn't one. I have the upgrade dir \usr\sap\put and its subdirectories, but no \abap\bin dir.
So I'm not sure where to unpack this to give it a try.
Perhaps it would be better to go back to teh beginning of the UPGRADE (after PREPARE) and start again?
I didn't upgrade to SQL Server 2005 because the version of SolMan we are on isn't certified on it, so thought I'd get through the Sol Man upgrade then do SQLServer 2005... maybe need to rethink this to?

Trex Index could not be created HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)

Hi Friends,
I have installed EP6.0 SP15 on one machine and Trex 6.1 on another machine.All the services are green in the Trex monitor.And also i am able to get a reply from http://host:30205/TrexHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING.Connection sucessful.While creating my first index in Index Administration i get this error message.
"Index could not be created; creating index failed: HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)."
Please tell me as to what steps i am missing and also where can i see the log message in portal.

I went through the settings of trex services on server and found out that even after installing IIS 6.0 it was showing the path of Apache that that is i think the reason that httpserver is green but it is not using the CPU resources.I will share the setting with you.

Index could not be created

Hi All.
I have instaled TREX and then declared the name server and port in visual admin and restarted portal
But still getting the error
Index could not be created; creating index failed: Invalid entry in configuration: section nameserver, key address, value tcpip://<trexhost>:<30201> is invalid (Errorcode 7213)
Any suggestions or procedure to integrate portal with TREX ?

if this is your exact error message:

Than you have not changes the value <trexhost> do your real trex name server host name.
And that's why all the lights in TREX monitoring from your application point of view must be red.

I cannot reopen library. During opening aperture I can see a list of libraries. After selection "Aperture library.aplibrary" (default I guess) msg box is open
"Library info directory path contains a file where a folder was expected.
The Aperture Library could not be created at “/Volumes/Data/Aperture Library.aplibrary”. Check the path and try again."
Moreover, aperture library is not visible in other apps like Final Cut X Pro. I assume this is caused by the aperture problem.
Can anybody help me?

Sounds strange.
Did you try to double click your "Aperture Library.aplibrary"?
Maybe trying to open backuped library...
Or creating a new library by pressing the alt key when clicking on the Aperture Dock icon.

Cs5 camera raw: "this file could not be created" problem

When I'm attempting to save raw files in any format (jpeg, dng, tiff, etc) to a different directory from where they're intially opened from I get "this file could not be created" error. It saves fine if goes to the same directory where the file has been opened from.
The problem started happening for no apparent reason. There have been no changes to the system (no new installs, etc), except for recent adobe updates, but I can't find any other users complaining about this problem. This happens on admin and all other accounts. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hm, perhaps a folder closer to the root than the folder you have selected has a permissions issue.
Is the folder you're trying to use rooted on the hard drive (i.e., does the path begin with a drive letter)?
Keep in mind that whether you are an Administrator or not, with Windows UAC enabled the app is normally not running as an Administrator. That can affect permissions. You might want to either try running the app via Run As Administrator or temporarily disable Windows UAC to see if this is an issue.
How are you starting Camera Raw? From within Photoshop or Bridge?
Also, do you have the latest Camera Raw update?

Map Could Not Be Created

Hi,
I have created an example in BW using a headcount report. I can get a standard california map to display in web designer, but when I try to use my custom map I can't even get the map displayed. I get an error stating "map could not be created". Does anybody have any suggestion on what the potential issues could be?

Are you using dynamic attributes?
Are all layers visible?
Did you check the query that you are using as Dataprovider?
Is there only one geocharacteristic in the row?
Which infoobjects are you using and which shapefiles?

Time Capsule - "Backup disk image could not be created"

Trying to set up time machine and consistently getting this error message. I can login in to the device and see the drive and space quantity with the airport utility. Airport wireless network is working fine - just can't get past this error message when I initiate the time machine backup process. Ideas? mike

Here are a couple possible reasons for the error message, “The Backup Disk Image Could Not Be Created”:
*Missing Computer Name*
First you might be missing a computer name in the Sharing Preference pane. Go into System Prefs. Then Sharing. In the box labeled “Computer Name” is it empty? If it is blank, you need to put in a name for your computer. Otherwise Time Machine won’t be able to link this Mac with the previous backups.
*Reselect Time Machine Backup*
Next, the link to the network drive “Backup” has been lost. Go into System Preferences --> Time Machine --> “Change Disk…” and select the the backup drive again from the list of available volumes. Do this:
Go to System Preferences --> Time Machine.
Click the "Change Disk..." button.
Select "None" and click "Stop Backing Up".
Now click "Choose Backup Disk" and reselect your drive again.
Close System Preferences and try backing-up again.
Let us know if any of the above resolved your issue.

Sorry if my question is not appropriate for this group.
I added a media file(.wmv)in one of the folder of my Web Application,if I try to open from Weblogic Workshop the message "The file could not be opened, there is no handler defined for it", if I added like a reference in a jsp file

the browser (The test one or Internet Explorer)open is like "strange" text.

Hello Mariana,
It looks like workshop simply does not support this file extension, I would raise a support case with bea to see if workshop does suppport it or not, or if there are any plans for supporting it in the future.

Is there a way to fix 'Sent mailbox could not be created?'

I have OS 10.8.5 and am using Mail as the mail program, since November. I have not had this problem before. I have four accounts in mail, iCloud, Gmail, Roadrunner and Earthlink. The main one i use is Gmail. Today i noticed that there was an exclaimation point next to my Gmail Sent mailbox. i opened the mailbox and it showed only one sent message that i sent earlier today. There should have been a few months of mail in the mail box, maybe 30 to 50 messages. i clicked on the exclaimation point and the message said:
The Sent mailbox could not be created on the mail server. The local "Sent Messages (Gmail) mailbox was created instead. Mail has changed your account's Mailbox Behaviors preferences to use the local "Sent Messages (Gmail)" mailbox.
i don't know what this even means. My other account mailboxes have their mail in them, only the Gmail mailnbox is not created (although it does have that one message in it). There wasn't anything different i did that would change any preferences that i know of. I see the Gmail Sent messages mailbox at the bottom of the mailbox list and the missing messages are there, but instead of listing the name of the recipient under a To: column, instead there is a From: column, and my name is all that is listed. There is no To: column. I need to know who the messages were sent to if i need to search for one later. i want the recipient to be idendified in the header, as it is in my other Sent mailboxes.
There is one thing that happened right before this occurred. I got a brand new Time Capsule and replaced my very old Airport Extreme with it. I didn't change anything. i just replaced the old base station with the new one, keeping all settings, network names and passwords the same, i just switched the hardware.
After setting up the Time Capsule, when i checked my email, i found this problem with my Gmail mailbox missing.
I found this problem raised in a few other postss on these discussion forums, but there was little or no discussion on the threads. None of them mentioned a new Time Capsule. i'm hoping someone who reads this can say what might have caused this and where the mail box is, and how to get it back.

I think i tried your first suggestion---i highlighted the Gmail account Sent mailbox and went to the Mailbox menu, went to 'Use this mailbox for,' but all of the four options were grayed out (Sent, Junk, Trash, Drafts). i tried highlighting (or selecting) other mailboxes in the column on the left, including the ones on the server and the ones 'on this mac.' No matter which one i selected, the options were grayed out. Do you know why they would be grayed out? Am i not understanding what to do, or is there some other reason? i'm in Classic mode, in case that matters as to what's in the left column.
I have not yet tried disabling the Gmail account. i was going to, but when i went to Preferences > Accounts > Gmail, i saw and remembered that i had changed one of the settings not long ago, a week or so--where it says "Use only this server" under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) i had unchecked 'use only this server,' since none of the other accounts had that checked. So i rechecked it and am wondering if that would protect against what happened.
I feel nervous about disabling the account and removing it from Mail and wanted to ask you, will everything come back when i re-enable it?

The Configuration Area could not be created (HANA Studio)

This message is posted in case some else comes across this issue. After installing the SAP Hana Studion, I was continually receiving the following message:
"The Configuration Area at 'c:\Users\U\.eclipse\org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_1152700900\configuration' could not be created. Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option'.
After trying to mess around with the command line option, I found that I needed to run the Hana Studio as an Administrator. ie, right click on the HANA Studio icon and select 'Run as Administrator' from the context menu.

If this is a new setup discard existing web application along with site and content database. Recreate the same web application and try provisioning PWA with new databases

I am geting the error while creating the index on TREX 6.1. In t-code SKPR07 I have check the application log and got the following error and I am not able to create the index. Moreover I have check all setting as per installation document its looking fine. Please help me.

i just found your Question here, while I was searching the SCN for a solution. Because I had the same Issue.
In the SAP Support Portal I found the SAP Note 1512896 - KPro: Index category could not be created.
Take a Look at it. I guess, that could solve your problem (if it´s still exists)

I'm having trouble backing up my second macbook to a new time capsule. continue to get an error message -- "Time Machine Error. The backup disk image could not be created." Is there something I need to change in my time capsule or time machine?

I just set up a new time capsule. it worked fine on my first macbook. But now I cannot backup my second macbook. Getting "Time Machine Error" "The backup disk image could not be created." Do I need to change settings on my time capsule to allow the second computer, or do I need to change something on the computer to allow time machine to work right?

Elements 9 Error when creating panorama - could not fill because there is not enough memory (RAM)

I have elements 9. I am making a panorama using about 10 images. Each time i click in the box to fill in the edges ( content aware fill) i get the error: could not fill because there is not enough memory (RAM).
This is not possible, as i have a machine with 8gb of RAM, and i can clearly see that less than 5GB is utilized.
I tried converting the individual images to jpeg as this is considerably smaller than RAW but i get the same error.
In Photoshop preferences i have set the memory to the max amount it allows ( 3255mb in my case). why will it not let me assign more RAM to it?
I got PSE 9 for content aware fill as i do a lot of panoramas, and if this does not work, its been a waste of 100 euros.

Yes, this is very common. You can either up the amount of ram available to PSE in the editor preferences, or just let PSE finish the pano with unfilled edges. There is an action available in the forums at elementsvillage.com that will turn on the same kind of content aware patching that's in Photoshop and you can use that after leaving the pano creation feature.
EDIT I see you've already upped the memory. PSE is a 32 bit program and there's a limit to how much ram such programs can see.
