Dear All,
I just check in DB02 that there is one secondary Index is missing on Production server.

Indexes: Inconsistent with DDIC source
ABAP Dictionary Database
Index does not exist Index *IDX$$_6E360001*

  MANDT
Please tell me ....
is it automatically created?
now.... how can i create this indexe with SE11 or SE14 or some other way?
Regards,
Diya

Hello Diya,
If you really need to create index then Please go through the Note 334224 - Important notes for creating indexes.
http://sap.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/sap-basis/how-to-create-index-in-abap-dictionary-in-sap-1089196
However, I am not sure whether 'creating' a new index is the solution of the problem mentioned by you initially (What I mean is, creating the index is not the solution 'everytime' for this kind of message in DB02)
Thanks

  • "index.xml missing" • Do I laugh, cry, or scream?

    After a variety of hardware problems with my iBook (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1523536&tstart=0), I have a new software-related problem.
    Some of my Pages files are acting up on me. When I try to open said files from Finder or from inside Pages I get the "index.xml missing" message (I'm using the iWork '08 demo version I downloaded today--I can't access the multiple licensed copy of iWork on the install disk from my IT guy until tomorrow).
    When I open the package contents of the problem files, sure enough--there's serious data missing. How could this have happened to some of my files by not all of them? (Hierarchy/where the files are located within my Documents folder doesn't make a difference. All the files were created by the most recent version of Pages too....)
    Am I totally screwed?!? Please tell me there's some way to salvage my files.

    Hello
    I met this kind of behavior when I tried to use from account B a document created in account A.
    As I am most often playing safety, I had a backup but I know than even if we repeat million times "computers are not perfect so, always keep backups", users will continue to miss this rule … until they loose some important data.
    I don't know which kind of code removes the Index.xml.gz files so I'm not sure that a file recovery tool would be able to revive them.
    You may try to use one of them but I can't guarantee the result.

  • Index is missing for a specific Primary key.

    Hi All,
    Index is missing for a specific Primary key but for other PKs index is available (verified in metadata, USER_INDEXES).
    Status of problematic PK is enabled.  This issue is only in one environment and other envs index is associated with this PK without any issue.
    Could you please advice, what could the possible reason?
    Regards,
    Narasimha.

    What other indexes are on your table? You do not need a unique index to enforce a primary key:
    > create table bc (col1 number, col2 number);
    Table created.
    > create index bc_ix on bc (col1, col2);
    Index created.
    > alter table bc add constraint bc_pk primary key (col1) using index bc_ix;
    Table altered.
    > create unique index bc_pk on bc (col1);
    Index created.
    > select index_name, uniqueness from user_indexes where table_name = 'BC';
    INDEX_NAME                     UNIQUENES
    BC_IX                          NONUNIQUE
    BC_PK                          UNIQUE
    > select constraint_name, constraint_type from user_constraints where table_name = 'BC';
    CONSTRAINT_NAME                C
    BC_PK                          P
    > drop index bc_pk;
    Index dropped.
    > select index_name, uniqueness from user_indexes where table_name = 'BC';
    INDEX_NAME                     UNIQUENES
    BC_IX                          NONUNIQUE
    > select constraint_name, constraint_type, index_name from user_constraints where table_name = 'BC';

  • Spotlight Indexing, Systemstats, Missing File, All After Mavericks Upgrade

    Dear Mac Support Communities,
    The upgrade to OS X 10.9.4 has crippled my computer.
    My main question is: should I reformat, or should I wait for a patch to come out to solve whatever is wrong with Mavericks? I explain below.
    Spotlight is constantly indexing. The mdworker is all over the place on the Activity Monitor—4% and then it explodes to 85% of CPU usage. Systemstats kicks in randomly (connected to spotlight perhaps?) and eats up 90% of my CPU and 3gigs of RAM. Time Machine takes AGES to backup.
    I have not been able to stop Spotlight's endless indexing. I have moved my hard drive and my Time Machine backup into the 'private' filter in 'Spotlight Preferences.' I have also tried the "sudo mdutil -a -i off" trick to stop indexing altogether. But Spotlight Indexing goes "off" and then automatically turns "on" in Terminal. Spotlight carries on, and the computer performance is choppy.
    I've run disk repair. First, I repaired permissions. Then I verified and attempted to repair the the hard drive. There is a missing file apparently, and I therefore must reformat. This is very first issue I've ever had with the hard drive since I bought the computer. Considering how awful Mavericks has been—I have been reading other Support Communities posts—I'm nervous about something going wrong, or that all these problems will persist after the reformat.
    All of this has occurred three days after my upgrade to to OS X 10.9.4. I have heard of numerous people having problems with Mavericks. All similar problems concerning missing files, haywire spotlight, systemstats devouring any remaining CPU power and memory space, and slow Time Machine back-ups.
    Anyone with the same problems? Care to theorize some solutions?
    I have a late 2008, 15inch MacBook Pro., 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, running OS X 10.9.4 (13E28).
    Cheers! I appreciate the help.

    Older Macs have more troubles under Mavericks. Considering the age of your Mac, it's not uncommon to start have hardware issues like drive failure.
    To repair the drive you must boot from the Recovery Drive.
    Boot into the Recovery Drive by holding down Command R when restarting.
    Run Repair Drive and Repair Permissions using Disk Utility in Recovery.***
    Next Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs following directions here This will serve two purposes. It will reset YOUR permissions. Not the same as Disk Utility reset permissions and it will cause Spotlight to re-index your drive when restarting.
    Restart
    Download and run the combo updater to refresh your OS X files.
    OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update (Combo)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1755
    MORE INFO ON WHY RUNNING COMBO FIXES ISSUES
    Apple updates available from the Software Update application are incremental updates. Delta updates are also incremental updates and are available from Apple Downloads (software updates are generally smaller than delta updates). The Combo updates contain all incremental updates and will update files that could have become corrupted.
    Combo updaters will install on the same version as they're applying--no need to roll back or do a clean install.
    "Delta" updaters can only take you from one version to the next. For example: 10.9.3 to 10.9.4. If somehow the 10.9.3 is missing something it should have, and that something isn't changed between 10.9.3 and 10.9.4 it will still be stale after the delta update.
    ***If Disk Utility is unable to repair you will have to copy your data to an external drive first. Reformatting will erase the drive. You should have a backup regardless, if your data is important to you. Just like a seat belt and an air bag protect you in different ways when driving, you need both Time Machine and a clone for full protection. If you don't have an external drive for backup, I can give you some suggestions to get you started.
    Both of these applications can be used to create a clone.

  • Index File Missing

    Hello !I have a problem : When I want to load my database, this message appears : unable to load database (in log file : Error 1019002, unable to open c:\.....\ess00001.ind).In fact, the index file is missing...(but not the pag file)Do you know if there is a solution to regenerate the index file ??Thank you ! Nadia

    NadiaYou can restore from back up, all the db files if you have any. Else it's a case of clear data and reload I'm afraid.It would be worth time in working out how this happened - is it due to human error or not?If you cannot open the database to clear the data, the only way I know of clearing is to delete the dbname.esm, dbname.tct and all ess0000*.ind and .pag files.This will allow essbase to start the database and sort it out, there will be no data in the dB though when it is ready.Hope this helps___________________________Andy Kingwww.analitica.co.uk

  • "index.xml" missing in Pages document

    I had made some changes to a Pages file, as chose "Save As..." to keep the original document intact. I got the spinning beachball and after waiting for several minutes had to Force Quit. Now when I try to open the new document it tells me the file is invalid and the index.xml file is missing. Looking at the package contents I can only see the audio, video, and images from the document. Is there anyway to recover my text changes?

    The file may not be gone, but you may have lost links to the images.
    To recover the file:
    REMOVE THE PAGES "WRAPPER"
    Press the [control] key and click on the hosed file.
    Scroll to Get Info and select it
    In the Name & Extenstion box, delete the ".pages" extension so that "myfilename.pages" reads "myfilename" and press [Enter].
    Don't worry about the "will open in another application" warning. We'll put the extension back when we're done. Click [Okay] at the confirmation dialog.
    The file is now displayed as what it is, a folder containing multiple files.
    CORRECT THE PROBLEM
    Next open the folder "myfilename" and browse to the index.xml file.
    In my case, the offending issue was that the index file had been renamed to "index(xxxxx).xml.gz" by my syncing software. The icon identified the file as a gzip archive, so I simply edited the filename to read: "index.xml.gz" (without quotation marks).
    Presuming the author of the previous post is correct and your file is no longer gzipped, you'll need to get a archive utility. Stuffit Standard has a 30-day free trial and is available at
    http://www.stuffit.com/cgi-bin/stuffit_loginpage.cgi?standardmac
    Other utilities, freeware, shareware and commercial, are available as well. Download one and Gzip the file and delete (or move) the unarchived "index.xml" file out of the "myfilename" folder. (Note that there are MANY different achive formats. I don't know if any will work other than the gzip that I found mine in.)
    PUT THE FOLDER BACK IN THE "WRAPPER"
    Back in the File Info dialog, click in the Name & Extenstion box, add the ".pages" extension after the last letter of "myfilename" so that it reads "myfilename.pages" and press [Enter].
    Double-click you reconstructed Pages document. If you get a warning your only option at this point is to click [Continue]. At least you still have the text and layout. The only thing I've lost in the past is the images. You can relink them to their boxes.
    Hope this works!

  • Generated index is missing indexed items

    Working with book and separate chapter for index. Index generates but is missing index entries. Is it something I'm doing or an InDesign problem?

    Thanks for input. All available updates have been applied. Long telcon with India so far has produced no cure but at last they are 'escalating' problem to find a solution. It seems to only happen in the 'Symbols' heading (non-alphabetic entries) of the index. Not only are items missing but reference page numbers are missing and/or scrambled. Looks like several indexed subjects are loosing page references and/or picking up page references from following index lines. If you can read the image attached you'll see what I'm talking about if you compare the index flyout lines with what shows up in the generated index. Quite a time consuming pain. It took me almost an hour on the phone to get India to the point they wanted to see this.

  • Can't Open iBook Author File - index.xml "missing"

    I've been working on a new book for about two weeks now. I've opened, closed, saved and changed it many times. I went to open the book today in iBook Author to continue adding content and I got this error message:
    "'Book Name' couldn't be opened. The required index.xml file is missing."
    I've tried re-installing iBooks, accessing the the file under a different user name, but everytime I'm getting the same error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've already spent about 40 hours with this book and I'd hate to loose all my work.
    Thanks,
    Jacob

    I know this is a few weeks old, but I just had this happen and here is how I fixed it:
    Duplicate the .iba file (the iBooks Author project) to your desktop or wherever you'd like.
    Next, delete the .iba extension and make it .zip and click "Use .zip" when the dialog box pops up.
    Then, double-click your newly created ZIP file. It will extract to a folder in the same directory.
    Now, add the .iba extension to this folder. It will pop up another dialog box asking if you want to do this, click "Use .iba".
    Your file should work now.

  • Numbers can't open file says index.xmlfile missing

    Was working on my files this morning. Now I cannot open them it says the documents are invalid and that the index.xml file is missing. I need to retrieve these documents.

    Hi segars,
    Adding to Sparkleberry's reply,
    Wayne Contello has written a User Tip for working with the old and new versions of iWork.
    Need newer version of Numbers to open file
    The trick is to drag icons for both versions to your Dock. Right click or control click on each and Options > Keep in Dock. That puts you in charge of which version you launch.
    Here is a screen shot of both Numbers icons on my Dock.
    Numbers 2.3 (Numbers '09) on the left with a three column graph.
    Numbers 3.5.2 on the right with a four column graph.
    Both versions will run happily together. Just be sure which version is opening your document.
    Instead of double clicking the document, run whichever version of Numbers/Pages/Keynote suits and use File > Open.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Index Keywords Missing

    Hi! I need help on RH x5 index.
    Here's the problem:
    After indexing about 75% of the files in the project, I tried
    to publish and everything's working fine. After I indexed all of
    the files, everything's messed up.
    My primary layout is WebHelp. The first few index keywords
    ("$300,000" to "Forms") are displaying very well. However, index
    keywords following the word "Forms" are all messed up - some are
    not showing, some are displayed but parent keywords are missing.
    Now, when I try to publish CHM, everything's showing, except
    that they're not in alphabetical order. It shows "ZAP" on the top
    of the index, and shows "$300,000" as the last entry.
    What could be wrong? Is there a limit in file size? Or
    probably the number of entries? The size of the HKK file is 469KB.
    TIA.

    I'm no expert, but I've had my index "issues" over the years.
    I think anyone wanting to help you will want to know whether you've
    tried using the Binary Index setting in the Project Settings.
    We have projects with much bigger HHK files than yours, so
    that's not the problem.
    Have you opened up the HHK file in Notepad (or other text
    editor) and taken a look?
    We had the type of problem you described when we imported
    topics from a different project and
    those topics had keywords saved in them (instead of in that
    project's HHK file. This was caused by a bug in RH X5.
    If you did that, I can give you the workaround we used.
    (Sorry if the formatting below isn't ideal -- I'm just going to
    paste the whole thing in from a different source.)
    Warning: It is time-consuming if there are many keywords to
    fix.
    1. With the project closed, have someone with MS Access open
    its .cpd file and print out KKeywordList. From this printout you
    can see which keywords are causing the problem, because the
    problem-causing keywords have a negative value.
    2. Delete the .cpd file.
    3. Make a backup copy of rhkkeyword.apj.
    4. Using Notepad, open rhkkeyword.apj and add the problem
    keywords manually in this format:
    <keyword>
    <name>Testing</name>
    <keywords/>
    </keyword>
    Multi-level keywords are inserted as follows:
    <keyword>
    <name>first level keyword</name>
    <keywords>
    <keyword>
    <name>FIRST subkeyword</name>
    </keyword>
    <keyword>
    <name>SECOND subkeyword</name>
    <keywords/>
    </keyword>
    </keywords>
    </keyword>
    Warning: The
    <keywords/> tag occurs only once for each main
    keyword, and it occurs after the last subkeyword, if any, as shown
    above.
    5. Save and close rhkkeyword.apj.
    6. Reopen the project and click the Index tab. If RoboHelp
    fails to open or crashes, then you know there are syntax errors in
    rhkkeyword.apj. Delete the .cpd file, fix rhkkeyword.apj and try
    again.
    7. When RH's index is displaying properly, check for any
    subkeywords whose main keywords are not defined. (These appear
    bolded.) For example, if you have "batching\grouping" but not
    "batching", add "batching" to a topic.
    8. Recompile help and check it carefully.
    Hope this helps.

  • Index entries missing in .chm but are present in the printed version

    This is strange.
    I have a number of index entries as follows:
    troubleshooting/file problems
    troubleshooting/login problems
    troubleshooting/printer problems
    These appear in the .docx (Word) version, which is what I've been using for the review cycle. Today, though, I had the .chm open and I noticed that the entire group of troubleshooting\ entries aren't in the .chm!
    I recompiled the HTML Help, just in case I was looking at an old version and no, they're not there.
    I searched for them in the Index tab, thinking maybe they were somehow out of order, but they're truly not there.
    Any idea what could be causing this?  I'm using RoboHelp 9.

    I don't know how to apply conditional build tags against an index, so I didn't do that -- at least not deliberately
    I looked at the HTML, the Advanced tab in Topic properties, and the TOC page properties. I don't see anything there that looks like a Condition setting. I looked at the HTML externally (that is, went to Windows Explorer and double-clicked the file and then looked at the HTML source). Couldn't see anything. I launched the .chm file and then looked at the HTML for that topic. Still couldn't see anything.
    I opened the .hhk file and I can see the entries for troubleshooting, I believe. Here is what I see:

  • The record has duplicate key values - "Include in Unique Index" checkbox missing

    I have a Silverlight client app that I'm developing in Lightswitch in VS2013 Ultimate Update 1, and have run into a problem when adding records.
    I am working against an external SQL Server 2008 database, and the table in question only has the primary key constraint, meaning that the ID field is an identity field, set as the primary key.
    When I try and add records to the table from the app, I get an error "The Shiur record has duplicate key values." This seems to happen when I add a row that has the same Speaker as an existing one. If I add one with a new Speaker then
    it inserts OK.
    Whilst searching for information on this error, I saw many comments around about there being a problem in earlier releases with the "Include in Unique Index" not working properly. This looked like my problem, except for two points...
    1) This table doesn't have anything in a unique index (as far as I know), as I never set it up to have any. You can see the details here...
    This looks to me like there is only the one index, which is the primary key one.
    2) The "Include in Unique Index" checkbox doesn't appear on my Properties panel at all. If I open the table in the designer, then click in the Speaker row, I don't see "Include in Unique Index" at all...
    Actually, I don't see "Include in Unique Index" at all, irrespective of what I click. It's just not there.
    So, I don't seem to have a unqiue constraint to violate, and VS doesn't show me the "Include in Unique Index" to allow me to check this, but I still get the error on insert. Anyone any ideas what's going on here?
    Thanks

    Hi Alan,
    'Include in Unique Index' is for intrinsic database entity properties.
    Ah, that explains why I can't see it then :)
    Is LightSwitch or SQL throwing the error?
    Ah, you're a genius! Well, not quite, but your question led me to the answer.
    For some odd reason, the primary key fields on my tables seem to have lost their identity setting, so when it tried to insert a new record, the ID wasn't automatically increased, so was going in as zero. This worked fine for the first insert, as there wasn't
    a record with zero ID, but failed for the second.
    Changed the ID fields to be identity, and all works fine now :)
    Thanks very much.

    Your first query is not consistent with the first set of results you have displayed.
    Your later query for index columns is also not very helpful as it won't list the column names in the right order.
    The probably answer to your question is that the index you have is non-unique and starts with the column you've used for the primary key, which means Oracle can use it to support the primary key constraint. Here's a quick cut-n-paste from a SQL*Plus session to demonstrate the point:
    SQL> create table t1 (n1 number, v1 varchar2(10));
    Table created.
    SQL> create index t1_n1 on t1(n1);
    Index created.
    SQL> alter table t1 add primary key(n1);
    Table altered.
    SQL> select index_name from user_indexes where table_name = 'T1';
    INDEX_NAME
    T1_N1
    1 row selected.
    SQL> select constraint_name, constraint_type, index_name from user_constraints
      2  where table_name = 'T1';
    CONSTRAINT_NAME      C INDEX_NAME
    SYS_C0033465         P T1_N1
    1 row selected.
    SQL> spool offNote how I've added a primary key with no name, and Oracle has decided to use the t1_n1 index to support it.

  • Index file missing from flash web galleries

    Hi All,
    I usually make a flash web gallery for my clients to view and select from online. For some reason now I can't get the web module to work correctly. It is acting a little funny from the start but mainly when I export it creates the file without the index file in it. I have version 1.4.1 and 2 beta. The problem is the same in each.
    I am on a Mac Pro quad core 2.8GHz with 6GB ram and two hard drives with lots of free space. I hope that is relevant.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Keith

  • Index information missing in ALL_OBJECTS

    Hi,
    In our database ,ALL_OBJECTS is not having the index information.
    Please tell me What could ve the reason?
    Thanks,
    Kumar.

    This is normal. It means you have an index owned by someone else.
    SQL> show user
    USER is "TEST"
    SQL> create table t(a number);
    Table created.
    SQL> conn sys as sysdba
    Enter password:
    Connected.
    SQL> create index t_ind_Test on test.t(a);
    Index created.
    SQL> conn test
    Enter password:
    Connected.
    SQL> select owner,object_name from all_objects where object_name='T_IND_TEST';
    no rows selected
    SQL> conn sys as sysdba
    Enter password:
    Connected.
    SQL> select owner,object_name from all_objects where object_name='T_IND_TEST';
    OWNER OBJECT_NAME
    SYS T_IND_TEST
