INFO UPDATE in the purchase order ( ME21N)

Why the field INFO UPDATE in the purchase order ( ME21N) is not flaged when I create a purchase order?
I create a PO, and I flag it in ME21N, but it cancel it? WHY
I have already tried it in spro Default values for purchasing, and all seem good!!
Anybody could tell how can I tick this field?
Thanks a lot
Kari

Hi
Info update indictor can be set by defualt if you maintain the same in the Purchase inforecord,
If no inforecord exists then this would not be flagged and if you flag it then the Purchase inforecord gets created with the update of with or wothout plant based on the default value assigned to the buyers.
Thanks & Regards
Kishore

  • Does the inbound delivery date get updated in the Purchase Order?

    Dear Experts,
Here is the use case, The original delivery date in the purchase order is 01.11.2011. Accordingly, the supplier sends an ASN to my client against the PO with the same delivery date. However, now, store keeper of my client wants to receive the stock on 03.11.2011.
    1) Can the store keeper/ goods recipient change the delivery date in the corresponding inbound delivery document to 03.11.2011?
    2) Will the change of the intended delivery date be notified back to the supplier who has triggered the ASN?
    3) Will the new delivery date be updated back in the purchase order?
Point 3 is particularly important for the client from vendor evaluation point of view as any delay from the client side should not affect the vendor performance for ontime delivery.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ranjan
    Ranjan Sutradhar

for point 2 not the dates wont be sent back to supplier untill unless you have any logic writen for that and if there is a Interface designed for it and I dont there will be any since ASN is sent from Vendor and if you are changing the dates in ASN .
for point 3 no its not going to change the delivery date in PO at item level but at the item detial level in PO history tab the scheduled date and delivery date as per ASN will be mentioned
its better you run the case in system and check it....this wont take much time

  • Onetime vendor - address is not copied into the purchase order ME21N

    Dear all,
I have a issue about using onetime vendors, if I have entered a dummy address on the onetime vendor, this address is not copied into the prucase order when I create a PO for this vendor type.
My problem is that we want to use the ME59 to create PO automatically for these onetime vendors but I get the message 06035 - Enter a address on the PO.
So my question is if anybody can propose a solution for this.
    Best regards, LB

One time vendor can never hold vendor specific details i.e. vendor details and bank details. You cannot use a one time vendor for ME59, use regular vendor account instead for your requirement or enter the address manually at time of conversion as per the message.

  • Automatic Flow of Tax Code in the purchase order (Service)

    Dears,
My purpose is to populate the Tax Code automatically in the Service Purchase order (Account assignment U and Item Category D). The tax code in the purchase order is required for ERS.
If i maintain the tax code in the info record for a material, then the tax code is getting automatically flown from the Info record to the purchase order.
However, if I maintain the tax code in the info record for a service, then the tax code is not getting automatically flown from the Info record to the purchase order. Is there any other settings to be maintained to populate the tax code for the service purchase order?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramesha

    Hi,
The tax code in PO is at item level for stock material.
In your case you cant make it default as inforecord field is at service level(You cant make it default for every service specifications you create at item detail level)
Check the field info record in your service PO.
    Regards,
    Deepak.

  • Performing filter for field Tax Code (MWSKZ) in the Purchase Order

    Hello Experts,
We have to perform a filter for field Tax Code in the purchase order (ME21N / ME22N / ME23N). We've tried to use SH SH_T007A and SSH_T007A with search help exit (e.g. F4_TAXCODE_USER_EXIT) but it is not working. The ABAP programmer has performed a debug and the standard does not check any line code in this function (the ABAP programmer has set a breakpoint into function F4_TAXCODE_USER_EXIT after assigning it for mentioned search helps)... it sounds like this program / search help is not called by standard program of ME2* transactions...
I've tried to look for some other object and other function called FI_F4_MWSKZ has been found... I've set a breakpoint there and when I open the search help for field tax code into transaction ME21N it works... but as I could see this function FI_F4_MWSKZ is a standard one which we can not change...
Have you ever had the same problem?
We are currently in the SAP 4.6C version. I've found lots of OSS notes but only valid for 6.0.
Maybe someone can help me on that.
    Best regards,
    Nilmar

    hi,
goto gs01 transaction, give some name to ur step.
give the table name and field name.
then u can create a specific value set for that field.
    save.
now u can use this set to define conditions for ur fields in obbh transaction.

  • Suppress PO output in case a PO is updated by a purchase order response

    Experts,
we are in SRM 5.0. We are trying to suppress any PO output when a PO is updated by purchase order response. We are experimenting with PO output start conditions (Customizing). No succes until now. We tried to check whether the object status table has status 'Variance in PO response' (I1352). No effect.
Does anybody have a clue or even better, an example, how to achieve this without the use of BADI's or defining any customer fields?
Apparantly when a purchase order is updated via the purchase order response the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI is not triggered, or at least we were not able to debug it, so it looks like this is no option either.
    Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help, Maurice de Feijter

Hello Jay, thanks for your suggestion. We are currently implementing SP 14 to 17 in which the note you mentioned is included. Unfortunately PO output is still not suppressed automatically when a PO response is accepted and copied to the PO, even if no content is changed (price, quantity, delivery date ....) .
That is the reason why we were looking for the possibility to use start conditions in customizing. The main problem there it that we do not know how to recognize that a PO change is triggered by the PO response, and how to configure that in a condition. SAP docu does not give any clue.
So, any other suggestion is welcome

  • Net price update in creation of the purchase order

    Guys,
I have a query, please find the details below.
I have created a ABAP for posting the purchase orders using the BAPI function 'BAPI_PO_CREATE1', I am passing the net price value in the input file. But the system is taking the net price from the purchase info record of that material. My own net price is not considered.
    Please find my observations below.
    1. First of all system is checking whether there is a PIR maintained for the material or not. If PIR is maintained, then system is defaultly considering the net price maintained in the PIR.
    2. Later I have deleted the net price maintained in PIR. In this case, system is considering the net price of that material from the previous purchase order.
But my query is that I don't want the system to consider the net price from previous material, I want to update my own net price to line item of the PO.
Could anyone please suggest me how should I proceed further so solve this query?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vijaymadhur.

    Hi,
Yes, this can be achieved. Don't maintain any price in inforecord. Then in SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Environment Data > Define default value for buyers > Here click on settings on default values > In Inforecord update > Maintain no update fro PO and quotation.
Now the last PO price will not be saved in Inforecord and hence this will not b carried to PO.

  • Updating the VETVG table while creating the purchase order

    hi all,
I have one requirement to calculated the delivery creation date while creating the Purchase Order. It is calculated based on the delivery date of PO. I have calculated that one but how to update it after calculation. Can any body give a user exit or BADI with implementation which will update the VETVG table while creating the PO.
    Thanks
    rajkumar

    hi sanjay,
thanks for reply, I am using same BADI(ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST) and implementation(FIELDSELECTION_ITEM_REFKEYS). In this implementation i am setting the shipping data with SET_SHIPPINGDATA method . but after that the values are not updating the EKPV and VETVG tables but it is only showing in the screen. Can you give a idea where to pass these values so it will update the tables.

  • To block the Purchase orders with the help of Quality info record.

    Dear All,
I have one requirement and it is as follows.
In Quality Info Record we have a tab called Release in that there are two sections one is Release quantity and the other is Block.
Now my client requirement here is : consider an example suppose he enters 100 in the quantity field, upto 100 the system must allow him to do Purchase Order after the 100 system must show an error that quantity is blocked and Purchase order cannot be created.
The purchase order should only create when he changes the quantity from 100 to the higher quantity.
    Is this possible?
if so kindly tell me what are the  normal settings and configuration settings to be done.
as the client doesnot want to change it manually.
Kindly guide me in this regard.
    Regards,
    santosh.

    Dear Santosh,
    E.g. lets say Release Qty. = 100.
now, if the material received from vendor is OK, you want to continue with that vendor, and if material is rejected,no further material will be rceived.
as, your client do not wants to do it manually,
in q-info record, above "release qty" there is "Release qty. active"tick. so, create Z function module which will only reset the "QINF FREI_MGKZ" field, and assign it into Follow-up action for Usage decision for acceptance. it will be better to create new UD code.
at the end, if Material is Ok, after UD, it will remove "Release qty. active" tick and you can continue with that vendor.  and if UD is rejected, system is not going to allow for PO, as release qty was 100.
    regards,
    Amol

  • User Exit / BAdI to update the pricing conditions of the Purchase Order

    Hello SAPients,
    This is my requirement:
"Copy the Pricing Conditions from the Shipment Cost Document (VI01 / VI02) to the automatically generated Purchase Order".
I'm using the enhancement V54U0002 (Function Module EXIT_SAPLV54U_002) to EXPORT  the values of the Pricing Conditions to memory and I have used the enhancement MM06E005 ( FM EXIT_SAPMM06E_006, 007, 012, 013, 014, 016, and 017) to IMPORT the values from memory and store them in TKOMV. But, when the PO is generated the values don't stay, they are always changed with the standard PBXX pricing conditions.
My question is: Does anyone know the User Exit / BAdI that I can use to change the Pricing Conditions of the Purchase Order?

    Hello Kartik / SAPients,
I tried with ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST but didn't work. The system doesn't execute that code. Any other idea would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • Down payment based on the purchase order

i raise one purchase order 1000 Rs  in t code me21n after popup with number.  based on purchase order i pay advance amount 500 Rs with reference of purchase order number (in  f-48 i have given number reference field). when i saw the purchase oder (me21n)  in status tab down payments fields not updated like purchase order 1000 only and down payment 0 only the system showing.

    Hi
In F-48 enter the input parameters and when you click enter it takes you to next screen. here you would enter the amount for 2nd line item. It is here you would enter the Purchase doc field.
If the same is not visible, then check the field status for the GL field status group in OBC4 and also posting key field status in OB41
    Thank You,

    See the info below:
Deactivate 'Hold' Function for Enjoy Purchase Order
    Use
    Application component: MM-PUR-PO-GUI
    Function group: MEPO
The Business Add-In (BAdI) ME_HOLD_PO enables you to specify whether an
Enjoy purchase order can be put on hold or whether this function is to be
suppressed in accordance with your requirements.
In the standard system, this function is generally offered during the
creation of an Enjoy purchase order (transaction ME21N) and when a PO
that is on hold is changed (transaction ME22N).
    Note
Enjoy purchase orders cannot be put on hold if any of the following
         criteria apply:
o  The PO contains service items
o  The PO contains "third-party" items
         o  Commitment errors are involved
o  Subsequent (period-end volume rebate) settlement is involved
    Standard settings
o  In the standard system the Business Add-In is not active.
o  The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
o  The BAdI cannot be used multiple times.
    Example
You will find an example implementation under Goto -> Code Example.
In this example, the following behavior is defined:
In the case of stock transfers within a company code, the "Hold" function
is generally inactive. If an application object contains an error of any
kind, the function is likewise inactive.
