Information in contacts is underlined

the name, address, TN of every contact is underlined when I pull up each contact - how do I get this to appear as just plain text without being underlined?

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

I can't sync Contacts on my iMac in my kitchen with my office MacPro. I am running OS 10.4.11 on both computers. I keep getting this message: "Inconsistencies in your sync information for Contacts were detected and have been repaired". But Contacts are still not being synced on my kitchen iMac. I have checked my .Mac account and see all the correct info in the Contacts folder - which matches my office MacPro. I have both Unregistered, and Reset Sync Data on the Kitchen iMac and asked that all Sync Info be replaced on the Kitchen iMac with Sync info from .Mac. Can anyone figure this out? Thanks very much for any help you can lend. -Scott

This is the iSync forum. iSync is for syncing to non-Apple mobile phones only, not to other Macs.

Where did you get the phone?
That phone was replaced by Apple or an AASP and was not returned to Apple as it should have been, or it was stolen from Apple or somewhere in the supply chain.
You can not get support from Apple for that phone.
Return it to wherever you got it and get your money back.

You appear to be referring to *MobileMe Sync* and not iSync (which is only for syncing to non-Apple mobile phones).

I'm no Lion expert, but I believe you can boot from the Recovery partition by pressing the Command and R keys on startup, then reinstall.

I've recently installed Oracle EBS 11.5.9 on Red Hat x-86 based linux.
I'm able to see the EBS login page but i can't login as SYSADMIN / SYSADMIN.
Infact i can't login @ all.

I plan to remove to EBS from my NAS partition and redo the whole thing cuz i've learned that i missed some steps in terms of OS parameters.
Just clear my 2 questions.
1.Teach me how to run rapid wiz from staging.
The default path in the last installation was /d01/Stage11i/and so on.I added only NAS directory destination path /vision before /d01 and when the install ran it asked me to manually provide source path and didn't run automatically.
NOW what i plan is
1.My NAS partition is called /vision. My stage directory named Stage11i is on local HD.I plan to copy my stage directory to NAS drive and run rapidwiz on my NAS from my stage directory and take all directory paths as default and move with the default installation.I believe this way rapidwiz would go automatic and install EBS overnight.No

2.My Linux x-86 RH4.0 is a test system running on 10.x.x.x ip network in the bank and it can be reached ( pinged ).However its not allowed to use DNS like the rest of the system.
In such a situation teach me howto resolve the DNS problem so that my team in the bank is able to access it from remote locations.
Tell me in terms of exact entries in the host file.
To me DNS shouldn't matter as long as i can ping the system.Cuz in the last instalation i was able to see the default EBS login page from remote bank site on the same network.

I can't change my billing information or my credit card information - Please Contact itunes support to complete transaction

For a week now I've not been able to change my billing address or information OR change the credit card I wish to use on itunes. I've tried resetting the cache and warning messages, restarting my machine, and contacting itunes support. This is rediculous. I recieved an e-mail 4 days later saying that I couldn't use that credit card? The funny thing is, I have another account that can... So why can't I change it on this account? This is my main account and I want to use my main credit card. So finally they just deleted my old credit card information. This is fine, but I still can't add a credit card or even just change my billing information. This is absolutely ********. How hard is it to have your customers edit form information and store it in your database? Seriously, I'm so upset right now. Apple is known for being user friendly, how is this user friendly? I can't change my own billing information? I also feel like I'm one of the only people in my group of friends that actually pays for all of their music/movies, but now I can't even do that? This is so upsetting. Apple, I'm so disappointed in you.

Ok, so I finally got help on this issue. Basically, I had tried to edit my credit card information, and it secretly locked my account. After finally getting a hold of a representative through the chat service on the support site, I was able to get this fixed. I had been previously helped by someone through e-mail, but that was a complete waste of time. Go for the chat service, it's a million times better. They were able to release the secret block on my account...from trying to change my own information so that I could change it and be on my way. Anyway, I hope this helps.

ESSMSS Scenario General Information - Emergency contact details

We have a scenario where in SAP ESS\MSS Portal , In MSS Tab --> Team --> General Information Page (Personal Data iView) , I am unable to view Emergency contact details Fields.
Even using iView Personalizations options I am unable to view the respective Information details .
On the bacckend I can see the details being avalable for the employee.
Requesting to some suggesstions and thoughts here on urgency.

whereas in working time we need the days of the week along with the working hrs.
Can anyone tell us if anything needs to be activated for the same. Or is it just a custome thing that we need to add on the respective standard object?

Saving "Default " information in contacts

I'm hoping that someone has the answer because my fingers are starting to sting, this is the third time that I have had to go through the 150 contacts on my E71, and set the Default for Text Message, Call, email, Video call etc, It happened when I sync'd with Ovi.
All my contacts are sync'd with Mail for Exchange, and normally I switch all the other syncs off because of this problem, the other night I noticed that Ovi didnt have the correct handset so I mistakingly sync'd it and it wiped all my defaults off.
Surely there is some way of saving the default contact information? - on my backups - none of the default information is saved there either.
Any ideas appreciated.

Title information on contact sheets, output to JPG in Bridge CS4

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find a place to add an overall Project Title and other general information in the contact sheet for Bridge CS4. There are the two overlays you can add for filename and extension, but that's it (and those aren't customizable). The watermark option puts text in the center of the page, and I'd prefer it in an upper corner instead, with the option for multiple lines.
Also, are the only 2 output options PDF and web gallery? I'd prefer JPG.

First, for jpeg you will have to use the old Contact sheet script for CS3.
If you want so you can copy this script to the CS4 (I even believe it is in
the goodie map that is on your installation disk for CS4.)
But to be honest, my first reaction in missing jpegs was the same but after
some experience with AOM contact sheets as PDF I really started to love them
It sounds you have not update Adobe Output Module, if using the latest
version you will have a Header and Footer section where you can add a title
and page number.
For the placement options of the watermark you should file a feature request
(main Bridge forum page at the right side column under section 'links'

How can I regain deleted information like contacts?

Today I updated a phone that is not mine from my iTunes account. Both phone's (mine and the other) ended up getting the same information (I assume, because they have the same iCloud account), including contacts. I, not wanting to have the other person's contacts, erased them directly from my phone and kept just my contacts. This resulted in deleting the other persons contacts from his phone as well and leaving him my contacts in his phone. In conclusion, the other person's phone needs his contacts back and I don't know how to get them back since iTunes apparently didn't save them. I assume that the iCloud has it but I don't know how to get them.

I assume your friend has his own iCloud account. If so his information should still be in iCloud under his account. He needs to change the settings on his phone to his own iCloud account name (under Settings -> iCloud) and his information should be synced back to his phone. Make sure the other person doesn't delete your contacts from his phone until he's sure he's on his own iCloud account or you will end up losing your contacts too. In fact, if it was me I wouldn't have him do anything until you both sync your phones to your own iTunes on your own computers so in case things go wrong you both have a backup to restore from.
In the future, it's a bad idea to sync anyone else's phone to your iTunes. Things will invariably get messed up.

I have backed up 3 apple phones to my itunes, how do i ensure all the information (photos, contacts etc) is available on my current iphone?

I have 4 iphones backed up on my itunes account.
How can I ensure that all the information is on my current version i.e. contact and photos etc, I seem to be missing bits and bobs and certain contacts seem to disappear when icloud in enabled.
Any ideas?

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Hope this helps.
