Information in the notification address "Search Term 1/2".

Hi Experts
In my company we populate information in the notification address "Search Term 1/2". We can use this information to filter upon execution of reports IW28/9. However this information does not appear on any of the report output. Does anyone have an idea how this fields can be included on the report outputs?

Modify your layout
select coloumns like Address no.,postal code,region,location,street etc in your layout. prior to that you must maintain this information in customer master.

They are grayed out because they are automatically set up whey you check Mail in System Preferences. If you didn't do that, go back and do so and your iCloud email account will be set up automatically.

What's the advantage of the unified address/search bar?

So far I've found several disadvantages. But I know that some people prefer the unified bar, but I can't see why. Can anyone explain the benefits that I'm not seeing?

How do I eliminate the http identity information on the url address line"

When you click on the down arrow on the HTTP line where the last URL address you keyed in is displayed - it will show the history of the last URL addresses you keyed in and visited. It will also display a second line known as "identity information". How do I get rid of this useless piece of information that forces a second useless line to be displayed?? I just want the URL addresses I had keyed in before to be displayed (one per line). Like all previous versions of Firefox and IE.

URL to launch iTMS on the iPhone with search terms?

I'm trying to launch App Store on the iPhone (from an email, for example) with a URL that will bring up everything related to a search term. For example, the URL:

launches iTunes on a laptop/desktop computer showing all the related golf applications, songs, etc., but it doesn't do the same on the iPhone App Store. This URL:

Actually, it looks like the URLs are opening up iTunes and NOT the App Store on the iPhone, so I'm looking for a URL that opens up the App Store with the search terms...

I received an email saying my account will be disabled if i dont give my credir card and personal information. but the email address looks wrong. what do i do?

Yeap, I'd hate to think that Apple forgets that "Apple" is spelled with an A and not an I....
EDIT: Just saw you went to the website as well, make sure to run a virus scan on your pc as well please! Never facecheck URL's from emails, apple or any company will never ask you to provide infomation in that matter, if in doubt; call them directly.

How to include additional information in the notification emails

As we know when Portal Admin creates a user,and if configured to send email, an email is sent to the new user informing about their username and password.
Now my question is there any way possible to include additional message in those notificatin emails. If yea ,how?

MOSS 2007 Alerts - Duplicate information on the notification email

Hello, we are having the following issue, when receiving an out of the box alert, the information on it is triplicated. Have you have seen this issue before? We have some code on the list library but that shouldn't affect an out of the box alert. Example

Maybe I wasn't very clear again. What I understood is that you are taking your FormsCentral PDF with a FormsCentral Submit button that sends the data to FormsCentral, and you are modifying that PDF in Acrobat adding an additional button for users to click on which when clicked attaches the PDF to an email to you. With this modification you end up with a PDF that has two submit buttons which you stated was confusing for the user...
I have tested combining both of those buttons into one (and included instruction to the user that it will do two things). I edited the FormsCentral Submit button and added an additional action to the button for the attach PDF to Email. This modified single button does both, creates an email in the default email client with the form attached, and submits the form data to FormsCentral.
That may or may not be useful to you but I wanted to make sure at least that I have explained it more clearly.

HT201303 I made a spelling error when I signed in to the app store. the email address is wrong, and any changes I try to make sends the information to the email address I made the mistake on, and cannot reset because of the spelling error.

My wifi network connection is not working, will read "unable to join". Am able to access as a guest. When I hit the blue arrow on the right hand side of my network there is no information e.g ip address, subnet mask, etc. This info is in my guest area.

My network has not been working today. When I click on it it says "unable to access nhe network". My guest network will work. What encryption/security is the router using?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

How to handle the Request more information in workflow notification

Dear All,
I am developing a custom workflow which has 3 different options to be handled like approve, reject and request more information. approve and reject scenarios i have done and working as expected. However I would like to know how we can capture that the notification is requested for more information so that i can design approvals according to business requirement.

Hi,
When a user uses the request information functionality, the notification can execute a post notification function with a funcmode of QUESTION. When the question is answered, the PNF runs with a funcmode of ANSWER.
Additionally, while the notification is awaiting an answer, the MORE_INFO_ROLE on WF_NOTIFICATIONS will be populated. When the answer has been provided, this is set to null.

When using Google Toolbar, and I begin entering a search term, several complete choices appear, but when I click on one of them, autocomplete does not fill in the search box.

How to add a new field to the notification mail

We want to add the description of the GOA to the notification mail. Currently when an approval is required the following mail is sent:
#CONTRACT.VERSIONTYPENAME# no.#CONTRACT.OBJECT_ID# was designated for release by employee#CONTRACT.CHANGEDBY#.

So there is only the document number, document type and last changed by information in the notification mail. How can we add the description of the document?
We have checked the related container and could not find the description of the document.

Hello Emre,
the mail is generated by report RSWUWFMLEC. You have to modify this report to change the mail text.
An easier way might be to change the subject of the mail which is generated from the workflow task. You can enter the description of the GOA in the workitem text of you active workflow (WS14000088, task TS14007969?).

Is there any feature in Endeca to support the natural language search ?

I am looking to evaluate Endeca for implementing search for a help-center kind of a site where there are list of questions and answers available and the requirement is to provide a search for this content. The guest user can type in question or some search terms in the box to get the right question and ultimately the answer to the question.
However; what I see from the basic tests is that there will be demand of natural language search for verbal matching. I understand that some part of this feature is supported by stemming in Endeca but that dictionary is not the complete list. It will not be a scalable solution to have business update this word forms in the stemming dictionary time and again for such requirement.
Are there any thoughts on the above problem ? What can be the possible ways to move ahead ?

Here's a few tips:
- First, Endeca doesn't do natural language processing. It is very literal with the words that are entered and matched.
- By default, the MDEX limits the number of search terms to 10 by default. Meaning if you entered 11 or more terms, terms #11 and so-forth would be ignored.
- You can increase this by setting the --search_max flag (typically configured in the <dgraph-defaults> section of your appConfig.xml
- Now, you can increase this to be quite large (say 200 terms). Then, when a customer enters in their problem description, it won't ignore terms.
- Use the "Match Any" match mode. Now, this might give you a lot of search results, but that goes to my next point.
- Use the NTerms match mode as your first relevancy ranking module. This will order the results based on the number of terms
- Make sure you have a good set of "Stop Words", like "the a and it was is of", etc.
So now what will happen is that the customer will enter their problem, and you'll submit the whole thing to the mdex. The MDEX will throw out the stop words, and then order the results based on the number of terms that matched.
Some other relevancy modules to think about:
- WFreq / Weighted Frequency. This counts the frequency of words that are more important.
- Stay away from Phrase and Exact. They'll almost certainly be too slow.
- Use a Static module based on the view count of an article, so that more popular articles will show up first.
You might also want to turn off these MDEX features:
--wb_noibrk Disables word-break insertion analysis.
--wb_norbrk Disables word-break removal analysis.
If you're going to submit big sets of search terms, those features will probably be too slow.

Change the Primary Address, Billing Address, or Shipping Address

We currently allow the users to add multiple addresses per account, we need to have the ability to change which is the primary address, which is the billing address and which is the shipping address. Currently is the addresses view we can see the Billing and Shipping checkbox but can not edit them. We are also unable to see the primary checkbox but can load to that field. How can we allow the users to edit the Primary, Billing and Shipping checkboxes in the Addresses view?

Name your address fields Address 1 and Address 2 and then match your picklists to this, you might need to manually create the 3rd address fields. Think I may have missed the point here, i've just checked an environment and see you are talking about the Address Related information not the main address information in the body of the Account record. Sorry, can't help ;-D
