Infoset Appraisal Criteria/Groups (2-Dimensional)
Hi all,
I have activated standard Appraisal Criteria/Groups (2-Dimensional)(0TM_IS02) Infoset and i loaded data into Staffing Assignments in Talent Management Info cube and Appraisals DSO.But when i am trying to display data,It is showing The data from the InfoProvider 0TM_IS02 involved could not be checked.Actually i need to execute report Calibration grid report,which is created on multiprovide Appraisal Criteria/Groups (2-Dimensional)(0TM_MP02).

We configure the cascading of goals at the criteria group level. There are separate BADIs for team goals and company goal if we want to cascade these goals separately to different criteria group. If we want the goals to be cascaded to a single criteria group, we can use the common BADI.
If I understand your question correctly, you want to give the manager a choice as to which criteria group they want to cascade the team goals to. There is no standard SAP way they can do it. This is defined at the configuration level and not at the process level.

I'm trying to create a criteria group for all our company emplyees that have employeeid between 1 and 8999 + between 20000 sn 29999.
from what i have mahaged to find it should work with 2 range rules
"employeeid is [1-8999]"
"employeeid is [20000-29999]"
but this criteria does not return any users when i press view memebers.
how should i set the criteria so the users will be included ?

I would start with creating new attribute in schema. EmployeeId attribute is not Integer attribute, so it accepts more than just number chars.
So create your own UserEmployeeID attribute in schema (Integer); add binding to User, change RCDCs to view this attribute instead of build-in EmployeeId and then you could do the following criteria:
(I've got DeletionStage custom attribute and it is integer, so I can do filters with '>' (more than) and '<' (less than))

I have a number of Queries/Infosets that have authorization group assignments in SQ02. Is there a way to produce a list of all Queries/Infosets that belong to a specific authorization group?

PMS & Appraisal Doubt - Weblink or Hyperlink in the criteria description
Dear All
Just like the deliverable description, can we also provide a weblink / hyperlink in the Criteria group or Criteria description level?
If we maintain - "http://help.sap.com/" in the Criteria group or Criteria's 'Web Layout' description & in column's Web Settings Text layout we maintain 'Name & Description' then in the portal only - http://help.sap.com/ gets displayed without the hyperlink in the Criteria group or Criteria.
Kindly let me know whether we can define an weblink / hyperlink in the Criteria group or Criteria description or anywhere else at the template level.

The weblink / Hyperlink is appearing in the appraisal document by maintaining the text --- <a href="http://help.sap.com">SAP1</a> as description at criteria group or criteria level.
On clinking on the link the desired web page opens up in a separate IE window.

Kumar .Ggoto SQ03 and create an User Group If U want to create Ur Own.
Goto SQ02 to create Ur Infoset by Giving Logical database name or Simple Database table
Then Choose What ever data U need to be included in The Qurey in field Groups.
Then Generate the Infoset
Now Assign the infoset to user group
Now goto SQ01 and Click on Other user group Button and choose Ur user Group.
Then in the USer group select Ur Infoset and then create Ur own Query and save this.
Now select the infoset query and goto More functions under Query menu and Generate report name.
Now Create a transaction code for the report name generated.
Now use the Tcode.
Hope U have got the basic idea of creating Queries.

Bug with criteria based groups in FIM R2 SP1
Hello all,
We experience following unusual behavior within the FIM portal (FIM R2 SP1) with criteria based groups, which looks like a bug.
The behavior applies for all kind of criteria groups and can be reproduced with following steps:
1. Open your criteria based group and click on your members tab:
2. Click on General Tabs
3. Click back to Members tab -->the criteria is not available anymore
Do anybody else experiences the same? This behaviour confuses our customers and leads to corrupted criteria based groups.

Please check the cache properties in Portal Configuration. Try and test your issue by increasing the cache values.

I need to add 3 new criteria elements (VB)/Tabs in between already created VB elements/tabs
I can create using "Insert" option but it is adding at the end not in the middle where I needed ( in - between already created elements/tabs).

Why don't you use the 'sorting and weighting' functionality in PHAP_CATALOG? Just double-click on the template -> right-click -> choose 'Sorting and Weighting' and there you can define and change the order of the criteria groups (VB).

Appraisal in Training and event management
Hallo Experts,
In the ESS portal during appraisal of a certain BE, the Appraisal form does not appear. The Name of the Appraisal model appear on the portal but NOT the form itself where the user input data. (the criteria groups and criterions.)
I am using the ITS service PV8I .
The BET for the BE has correct event appraisal model as shown in its Relationship infotype.
Is this a problem with the SAP or the portal itself?

Appraisal for Training and Event Management
Hi Friends,
Hope every one doing well.
I have a requirement regarding the Appraisal of Attendee and send to its reporting manager for review and Manger may change the rating and completed or reject for re-appraise from the attendee.
Note: We are not using LSO, using old Training and event management and we don't have any ESS,MSS system simply doing in ECC system only.
here i need the notification for the reporting manager once the attendee save his ratings, if i do with old appraisal functionality with APPCREATE & APPCHANGE system is not giving any notifications to the reporting manager.
if i go to new appraisal system that is with PHAP_CATALOG and PHAP_ADMIN i am not able to get the course's what employee attended for the training.
please can any one share your view how to do this.

i can't go through new appraisal model with catalog & template, because client is not having ESS,MSS. appraisal has to done in the ECC only.
Done the customization like this :
created scales
created appraisal model and assign the scales
for appraisal, Employee can do from APPCREATE transaction rate his own ratings and save.
Now Appraiser (Manager) from APPCHANGE complete the appraisal.
now my requirement is (1) after saving the APPCREATE by the employee, notification has to go to his reporting manager only. (2) Manager can do review/change and complete the process to his Employees only (who are reporting to him)
how can i do this, standard functionality is there or i have to go for ABAP coding ? if ABAP coding what i have to ask them to do.
Please help in this requirement.

meaning person is attached to the appraisal template ( provided ) .
objectives are set in template and then person gets access to template and wherein he fills his objective.

I have a question on the team appraisal. We have unique situation here.
A person ( employee ) from the team needs to maintain the appraisal document for the entire team for monthly result inputs achieved by the team.
So we should only have one appraisal document per manager or org unit. I selected the check box for multiple appraisees ( in phap_catalog_pa -> Appraisal template -> Processing tab ). Is this setting enough to achieve this requirement ?

An additional idea here: Have the manager use MSS to generate the form. The appraisee he chooses can be the "nominated" person to have input on the form.
You can then definitely use a BADI to automatically add the entire team as "further participants" on generation of the form.
We are debating on this. I am recommending to have a custom relation ship ( say, is proxy between manager's position and employees position). Lets say, if there is no "rule" , what happens?
If you go with the approach I just mentioned you can avoid a custom relationship and additional data maintenance. It also gives flexiblity, if you want to add additional appraisees or change the appraisee it can be done through phap_admin transaction very easily.
This is not the case . We will have one form for the entire year. There will be 12 criteria groups , say january evaluation, Feb evaluation and objectives (criteria ) will created for each. The person maintaining will input the montly result achieved.
One idea here to experiment with, is to create a whole slew of sub-status in the "In Planning" or "In Review" phase. Based on the substatus you can control who gets notified (email notifications to participants), who can edit when (appraisee vs appraiser), and who can see what when (further participants).
For each month you can create a substatus "Jan - Emp Review" --> "Jan - Mgr Approval" --> "Feb - Emp Review" -- > "Feb mgr review" ...... --> End of Year Appraisal "
One question - Most of the standard workflow are either for appraisee / appraiser - what is the scope of further participant in terms of workflow ?
i don't think there is any standard workflow for "further appraisers", but technically it sounds like all you would need is a notification by email. here you don't need email, you can SMTP from program. The BADI can be called anytime the document status has been changed.

OSA : Offline appraisal HAP_PDF_OFFLINE_FORM ignores text formatting

We plan to use the standard offline appraisal adobe form HAP_PDF_OFFLINE_FORM. We have defined the text for each criteria group and criterion in phap_catalog_pa. However, the formatting and alignment of the text is ignored when downloaded or printed in the adobe form. Is there a workaround to this ? Thank you.

Thanks for these SAP Notes. Our system has them implemented (7.31SP6)
Finally I correct these tags on method "CHANGE_FIELD_VALUE" at BAdI "FP_EXTENSION_FIELD_VALUE". We can "correct" these tags at BAdI "HRHAP00_SMARTFORMS" before calling the function module behind the adobe form, but it is more efficient doing it at the first one.
