Initial download of Z contract table from R/3 to CRM
Hi,
We have two contract tables called ZCONTRACTHEAD and ZCONTRACTITEM in our R/3 system which we bring to our CRM system to the same respective tables.
We use a downloadable object ZZCONN_HEAD and ZZCONN_ITEM in transaction r3ac1 and do an initial download using r3as.
My problem is that in CRD client 200 which is mapped to R/3 client 200, this download does not bring any data into CRM. The download says complete but I get a BDOC error in SMW01 saying validation error.
This download works perfectly fine in CRD client 100 which is mapped to R/3 client 600.
I know that this is custom table and not a SAP standard table. But I really don't understand why this would work in one client and not in the other client. I have checked the RFC destinations and also did some other initial downloads on CRD 200 which works fine except for this particular table.
Could you please give me your opinion on how can I debug this and find where is the problem? After doing few debugging myself I found out that I am getting the validation error in BDOC in CRD client 200 is because the intitial download is not bringing any record from R/3.
Due to this problem our contract pricing is not working on our DEV system and I am not able to do any further tests or enhancements.
Any suggestion or insight on this will be very helpful.
Thanks,
Prasoon
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. I tried to debug the initial trasfer from CRM to R/3 but I am not able to debug the function in R/3. Also when I do a Test Function module in R/3 I am not sure as what correct parameter to put. I did refer few OSS notes 656823and 573857 but was not able to debug it in R/3. We are on CRM 3.0 Service Pack 14. Could you please suggest as to how can I debug this initial download ?
Since this initial load works perfectly fine in the other client(100) and not in in client 200, I am not sure what could be the problem.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Prasoon

Downloading BP/Products/Conditions /transaction from R/3 to CRM
Could u pls tell me the how to Downloading BP/Products/Conditions /transaction from R/3 to CRM
Business partner mapping
Thanks in advance
kumarHi Rahul
As stated above this will happen in case the number is already assigned to a business partner.
Are you
1. <u>Reconnecting</u> the CRM system to a new R/3 and the CRM system has data from an old system?
2. Has the replication been done before
3. In case this is a new CRM system and numbers are being generated for the first time check the numbering range. (are the CRM numbers for this BP defined as external if R3 is the leading system?) the numbering ranges should not overlap or this will be a common scenario.

SAP-CRM - Auto Confirmation of Contract Account from IVRS to SAP-CRM IC Web
Hello Experts,
In Our Projects we are Using SAP-CRM Web Client for Call Center Processes. AVAYA is a Third Part agency which have developed the IVR system for handling the Consumer Calls. We have Developed BAPIs which will fetched data from SAP based on Contract Account entered by Consumer on IVRS. AVAYA have developed the CTI Pop-Up also which have several Consumer Details along with CA. Now Client wants that CA , entered by Consumer on IVRS, will be autoconfirm to CRM - Web Client. If anyone have any document for doing all these setting please share with us & Provide us guidelines...

Free Goods Condition table records not getting downloaded from R/3 to CRM
Hi Friends,
I'm trying to download free goods condition records from R/3 to CRM. i have already downloaded condition techique, procedure, condition type, access sequece.
Now i am tryin to download Free goods condition table for Example: KOTN602 to CRM. I created new condition adapter ZDNL_COND_N602 by coping standared adapter DNL_COND_N010 and changed to table table. now i have the following tables in table section.
KONDN
KONDNS
KOTN602
TMC1K
No filter has been set as we have only one record in table KOTN602 in R/3.
i had run initial load of this adapter ZDNL_COND_N602 thr R3AS, then I checked in R3AM, the status is canged to Green. but when I checked in CRM table /1CN/CCFCUS602, no data available in this table ( NO download happens).
Can you please suggest what could be the reason and what is missing?
Thanks
BharthiHello Bharti,
Please make sure in txn R3AC5, for you Z* adapter object, under the tab 'Mapping Modules: R/3 to CRM', you just have
single entry of CND_MAP_MAST_EXCHANGE_MAIN_MBD.
If there are double entries please delete the duplicate.
Also, you can check the logs using txn CND_MAP_LOG_DISPLAY
Object : COND_EXCHANGE
Sub-Object: CONDITIONS
Please give the 'From' and 'To' correctly, to get the correct log messages.
This will give you some hint.
Hope this helps!

Hello guys,
I got some problems with the initial download (R3AS transaction) for the object SI_CONTRACT. The BDoc message is uploaded empty in CRM.
So I would like to debug the process to find out the problem. Does anybody know the program/BADI/function used in ISU or CRM for the inital download replication?
Any help will be very appreciated
Thanks a lot in advance

GermanAfter the initial download of business partner, contract accounts and technical objects, you can begin with the initial download of the contracts.
In the first step, you must ensure that for an as large number of contract constructs as possible the corresponding master data templates exist in the system and are linked to CRM-products.
Also ensure that in the table ECRMSETTINGS for all possible service types (for example, an installation) an own dummy product has been specified and defined in the CRM system in all cases.
Then you must start the report ECRM_GENERATE_EVERH. This report determines products corresponding to all active contracts in the system and writes a corresponding EVERH entry.
Randomly check the determined values when you check the product assignment in the contract display.
If the product assignment was not successful and no download has been performed yet, the entries can be deleted in table EVERH. You might have to check and correct the master data templates in this case and restart the report.
Upon successful execution of these actions, you start the initial download with object SI_CONTRACT in the CRM system.
IS-U uses the BADI implementation CRM_IBSSI_CONTR_R3A. Within this implementation the function module CRM_R3_IBSSI_CONTRACT_UPLOAD is called, which carries out following actions:
1. Filtering the mBDocs: Is the mBDoc relevant for IS-U?
2. Upload of the technical objects, if a point of delivery was assigned If an error occurs during the upload, the processing is terminated with an error message.
3. Upload of the contract

Initial Load for Master Data from R/3 to CRM
Hi Middleware Experts,
I have an ambiguity on initial load of enhanced master data from R/3 to CRM. The current situation is
1)I have already enhanced master data on R/3 side with some additional fields. Now shall i go ahead with standard intial load of these Master data to CRM without creating middleware interfaces to map those enhanced fields on CRM side?
2)Also after doing initial load from R/3 to CRM, if I develop middleware interfaces for mapping these new fields of master data and then again do the initial load, so that new fields also get mapped, will the initial load be done properly as i have already done it once? will it overwrite the previous initial load data on CRM side properly?
Please suggest whether it can be done or not and which is the better option.
Regards,
RahulHi Rahul,
Since you have not done the mapping yet the middleware will not bring those fields to CRM it will work just like a standard initial load without considering the enhanced master data field.
When you develop the middleware interface and enhance the CRM data structure also and then you can see the exchange of those fields through MW. You can start the intial load at that time also its not that you can do the initial load just once. But the better option would be that you avoid doing initial load several times because its time consuming activity. You do all the enhancement and then finally perform the initaial load.

No Material Master replication from R/3 to CRM
Hallo guys,
i've got no replication of material master, haven't tried any other object except customizing but customizing is triggered from CRM and was replicated fine. Can anybody help me how can i debug the replication process from R/3?
Thanks for your help in advance.Dmitry,
You first need to determine where your errors are happening?
1. Do you have blocked queues on CRM? If you see a blocked inbound/outbound queue on CRM via SMQ1 or SMQ2, then you can try to rerun the BDOC message in the queue.
2. Is there tax code customizing not downloaded correctly into CRM? This sometimes can hang up your download of materials?
3. Have you looked at SMW01 after the load to see if you have any BDOC's in error, the queues were empty?
4. What is the status of the initial load R3AM1?
I would hold off from debugging until I figure out where in the download process that I am receiving the error. Once I know that fact them I can debug a single download. You will have to set a filter on the material object to a single material and attempt an initial download. When you perform the initial download you will need all queues deregistered on the CRM side, so that you manually execute the BDOC import into CRM.
The last step will require placing a breakpoint into the validation function module for material.
I believe validation function module is: COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE. If you have questions along the way of debugging the flow, please reply back and I will try to see if I can answer them. It has been a little while since I had to debug our middleware downloads.
Good Luck,

How to extract Taxonomy data from MDMGX transaction of CRM system
Hi all,
I have a requirement on product master where in i have to upload data into MDM as taxonomy table from MDMGX transaction in CRM system. Is it possible? If yes can anyone guide me the stepwise procedure as i observed it involves the Function Modules like MDM_COMM_CAT_ATTRIBUTES_EXTR.
Thanks in advance
SamathaYes,
You can very well do it. You need to define parameter " Hierarchy ID" in function module for exceptional cases in MDMGX. This hierarchy ID you can get using Transaction COMM_HIERARCHY in CRM..
This will solve you requirement....

Problem with initial download from R/3 to CRM
Hello All,
Initial we were able to download & replicate all object from CRM to R/3 & vice versa such as product ,BP, sales documents & conditions etc. After that <<removed>> R/3 system was refreshed by Client itself. After refresh, connectivity between R/3 & CRM is disturbed. We have observed that while initial download we are facing problem in SMQ1 & SMQ2. After debugging we found that table entry i.e. table :- CRMMLSGUID from CRM & CRMPRLS from R/3 have Logical system guid values different( which should be identical). Because of this no replication is happening between CRM & R/3. How to rectify this?
Regards
Priyanka
Edited by: Rob Burbank on Dec 9, 2011 4:37 PMHello,
see note 588701:
"The queues are deliberately halted since the change of the logical
system name in the R/3 backend or the linking of new R/3 backend clients
to a client of the EBP/CRM Server with the same logical system name as a
client already linked to the R/3 backend would lead to severe data
inconsistencies in various CRM applications.
For this reason, such changes are not allowed on principle. The halting
of the queues prevents such data inconsistencies. The following
situations may lead to the queues being halted:
o The logical system of a client of an R/3 Backend system linked to
the EBP/CRM server was changed in current operation.
o A new client of an R/3 Backend system or a client of a new R/3
Backend system was linked to an existing client of the EBP/CRM
server where the logical system name was already assigned to a
client of an R/3 Backend system linked to the CRM server before.
There are different cases in which different forms of processing are
required or where several options exist:
- The logical system name of an R/3 Backend client was changed
in current operation. In this case, the data hangs in the
outbound queues of the R/3 Backend system as specified under
point 1 of the symptom. In this case, the logical system name
Seite 2
must be changed back to the original value. Then the outbound
queues can be reactivated. If no data was transferred to the
EBP/CRM server before the change, also a correctioin of the
check table is possible.
- The same logical system name was used again in a new client of
an R/3 Backend system that was linked to the EBP/CRM server.
In this case, the data is in the inbound queue of the EBP/CRM
server with the exception GUID_FOR_LOGSYS_CHANGED. In this
case, the queue entries which have status SYSFAIL must be
rejected, however, not the entire queues. If the new client of
the R/3 Backend system you have linked has exactly the same
data as the old client and if it is meant to replace the old
client (that is, this was deactivated), also a correction of
the check tables is possible. In this case, the inbound queues
can be reactivated after the correction.
The correction of the corresponding check tables or the correct
procecure in individual cases is to be agreed upon with the support of
SAP or SAP consultants at the customer site. In justified cases, SAP can
carry out the correction of the check tables. " -
Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function
Dear All,
While replicating material from R3AS, I am getting error in SMW01 as below:
"Mat. for Initial Download: Table not supported by function"
Kindly suggest.
Regards,
SagarHi,
if anybody is interested:I solved the problem for our systems, but it's not a very nice solution:
In backendsystem, which is ECC 6.0 for us, in table CRMRFCPAR the field CRM_REL was empty for connection to CRM. I think this field should be filled automatically but it wasn't. I filled it 'hard' with '700' and then product/material data could be replicated.
Background:
In ECC system while collecting material data the subroutine GET_DOWNLOAD_PARAMS_AND_QUEUE of FG CRM0 is called and there is a request 'IF gt_rfcdest-crm_rel GE '500'.'
This field crm_rel is filled from table CRMRFCPAR.
I think CRMRFCPAR-CRM_REL should be filled automatically when using SM30 using the RFC-Destination but in our system it was empty. (CRMPAROLTP -> CRM_RELEASE is set !). So I set CRMRFCPAR-CRM_REL 'hard' in SE11 to '700'.
This is not a very nice solution but maybe it will help anyone.
I'm also interested if anybody has another better solution.

Cut-Off Entries in Z-Condition table during Initial Download
Hi there,
I have implemented in our CRM 5.0 / Backend 4.70 a new condition type, access sequence and condition table that uses two Z-fields. The customizing download worked well. I also created an adapter object for the initial download of the condition records. But: When I download the condition records from the Backend to the CRM, the entries of one key-field of the condition table are shortend from "9010" (in the Backend 4.70) to only "9" in CRM!
What can this be???
Thanks in advance
RalphFinally found the error: In structure ZA0CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST I did not refer to the correct key field that I use in the condition table on the R/3. I changed the ZA0CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST, acivated it and then the initial download worked fine!

Dear CRM guru,
We're using the standard BDoc SI_CONTRACT to perform initial download of all utilities contracts from backend IS-U R3 system to CRM system. The BDocs are successfully created and there is no error as shown in SMW01. However, when we checked on CRM side, there is no contract being replicated. When we checked the classical and extended part of the BDoc, there are no entries at all. All ZERO entries. All customizing settings are correct because we are able to perform DELTA download of Contract. Just that when we trigger INITIAL download, contract is not replicated. Any advice?? Points will be rewarded. Thank youHi Denis,
I've tried..even if i don't use any filter settings, i still get empty BDocs replicated without any data. Why is this like this? Any advice. -
Guideline Performance Initial Download from SAP for Utility into SAP CRM
Hello,
Please find below a link (valid for 10 weeks) to the document Guideline Performance Initial Download from SAP for Utilities into SAP CRM. The document is also published in the SAP Service Market Place at http://service.sap.com/utilities. Then choose Technical Information Center - Migration.
The purpose of the document is to give guidelines as well as to share experience for an efficient and high performance execution of an initial download from an SAP for Utilities system to an SAP CRM system, such as:
- Configuration of the initial download
- Ensure optimum performance for the initial download of the relevant business objects
- Avoid unnecessary business data being downloaded
- Monitoring of the initial download and taking corrective actions in case of problems
- Handle errors occurring during the initial download of business objects
- Minimize performance bottlenecks
The document explains the setup and configuration of the SAP for Utilities and SAP CRM systems only if necessary for the understanding of the solution of a described performance problem. This document does not cover the performance optimization of the delta down- and upload and the synchronization download.
The document has the following structure:
Chapter 1 describes the basics of an initial download
Chapter 2 describes how to plan and execute tests to achieve an acceptable performance
Chapter 3 describes the most important technical activities to prepare the involved systems
Chapter 4 describes the most important functional activities to prepare the involved system
Chapter 5 describes how to perform an initial download
Chapter 6 describes measures to improve the performance of an initial download
Chapter 7 provides a list of important repository tables
Chapter 8 contains a list of important SAP Notes related to initial download
I'd highly appreciate your valuable feedback on this document.
Kind regards,
Fritz
Edited by: William Eastman on Feb 17, 2011 2:34 PMHi Fritz,
sorry for the late late reply but I didn't notice your answer.
Here are my answers:
(1) I monitored the behaviour on the CRM system, CRM 7.0, SP5
(2) The change should be implemented in the CRM system
(3) Deactivate buffering for scenarios marketing, sale and service via SM30 and table T770MATTR.
By doing this the initial load of 3.2 million business agreements took around 2 hours, with activated scenario buffering I was at least ten times slower.
After the initial load you have to activate the buffering again.
Interesting to know would be why the scenario buffering only affects the initial load of business agreements and no other object. As far as I know the scenario buffering is relevant for the organizational management.

How to know an order number from the service contracts table
Hi all,
I want to know how the order entry module and service contracts module are connected. I mean to ask if a service is placed as an order for purchase how do i get the information about the order_id or order_number from the service contracts table.
please point me in a direction so as to which tables i should be lookling at.
Thanks.Try OKC_K_REL_OBJS table. The column JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE contains values 'OKX_ORDERHEADER' or 'OKX_ORDERLINE' and the column RTY_CODE = 'CONTRACTSERVICEORDER'. The column OBJECT1_ID1 should store order HEADER_ID or LINE_ID based on JTOT_OBJECT1_CODE value. Hope this helps.
