Initilization for 2lis_11_vahdr

Hi Experts,
I'm extracting data from 2lis_11_vaitm and 2lis_11_vahdr datasources. As I've huge data in production system. I want data from January 2009 to till data. I can able to get month wise sales orders.
1. I'm extracting data by giving the selection for sales orders (Sales order 1 to sales order 1000 in January month, SO1001 to SO 2000 in Feb month, SO2001 to SO 3000 in March Month like that)
2. I've extracted data till July month like that by giving sales order numbers.
Now I need to do initilization and need to set up for deltas.
Can I fill the set up tables with sales order range from Jan to July and do initilization without data transfer then scedule delta?
then Can I get the August records in delta with changed records for Jan to July properly?
Is it the correct apporach.

Hi SHarsha,
Data in Setup table and intializing delta is nowhere inter related. You dont need to have data in setup tables to fetch delta.
As in your case you have mentioned that you have data filled in setup only till July. So data only till July will be BI and if you do intialize delta the august month records will not be pulled in delta as those are historic records. Only new records will be captured.
Generally when going for any setup in BI, first we will fill the setup tables for that datasource and pull the history records from R/3 to BI for the interval range required. Then on a outage time we will intialize a delta. So going forward you will be able to get delta.
You have mentioned to have a data from 2009 to till date and moving on the delta also. For this you need to have a outage time since it is an sales datasource.
Fill up the setup tables till date data and pull into BI and do intialization without data transfer with date or peirod in selection condition(ex. 01/01/2009 to 12/31/9999). Going forward any changes happens to the records created on this interval or any new records will be captured in delta.

I have been trying to fillup the setup tables for SD datasources( Application-11 Ex:2LIS_11_VAHDR), but it was not allowing me to do that.
Below are the steps i have followed,
1.Deleted the setup tables using tcode-LBWG- Application-11
2.Cleared the queues in RSA7 and found 0 queues for 2LIS_11_VAHDR D.S by triggereing the I.P till it get zeroes.
3.Checked the data in RSA3-No data found.
4.Filling the setup tables using OLI7BW t-code, got a popu(Data for 2LIS_11_VAHDR has to still transfered)
Do i need clear all the queues for SD-Billings,Orders e.t.c since i have 8 data sources to be cleared apart from 2LIS_11_VAHDR .
Could you please suggest any other option to fillup the setup tables.

Did you run the infopackage twice pertaining to 2lis_11_vahdr.One for delta and another time for repeat delta.As delta queue will hold the records in repeat delta mode as well.
Also in case of Direct Delta --Data is transferred to Base tables and delta queue (RSA7) at the same time.So extraction queue (LBWG )and update tables(SM13) does not come into the picture.

DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system

I have a problem when I had activated the Data Source called 2LIS_11_VAHDR in ERP DEV and then put it in a request to be transfered to ERP Prod
Then I am using RSA3 I receive the following error
DataSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR is not defined in the source system
I tried to activate this data source several times in ERP Dev and send it to production without any success

I am sure you would have done these steps, but just a double-check.
1. RSA5 - Install the data source
2. RSA6 - Activate the data source
Check in LBWE if the data source is available.
All this will be captured in a transport request(s) - you may may have a Workbench request & a Customizing request.
Also, before transporting, please check in your target system whether the datasource is available or not (RSA5).
Further to the above, do a check in Dev for the following.
After activating it in RSA6, fill the setup tables for 2LIS_11_VAHDR - i.e. thru' transaction OLI7BW.
And check the data in RSA3.

Missing records in 2LIS_11_VAHDR

Hello Everybody
In the outbound queue in LBWQ , I have one record concerning a modification of a header of a sales document. Ok.
When I run the job LIS-BW_APPLICATION-11_xxx to fill the Delta queue (RSA7), only 2LIS_11_VAITM is filled but not 2LIS_11_VAHDR....
This problem is only for specific type of sales document (AUART = 'ZSPE')....
Any idea ??

Go to transaction code LBWE and make sure the Extractor 2LIS_11_VAHDR is active, additionally review if you have marked an init load for 2LIS_11_VAHDR (you should see 2LIS_11_VAHDR on Delta queue-RSA7).

recently our R3 development got system copy
now we are doing logistic extraction in sales and distribution, so after reading different threads it seems i have to re org the delta queues
here are things i can list out
check active structures in BW:
so i went into lbwe and they are 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm,2lis_13_vdhdr,2lis_13_vditm
delete the init from bw in infopackage
delete set up tables
so i went in LBWQ and deleted entries for MCEX11 & MCEX13
now refill the setup tables...
how to fill setup tables ???
i am doing rsa3 and all this extractors are throwing empty or 0 records!!!!
i tried oli3bw and oli7bw
what options to select
how to fill setup tables ???
are this correct tcodes oli3bw & oli7bw for 2lis_11_vahdr,2lis_11_vaitm,2lis_13_vdhdr,2lis_13_vditm

when you say deleted data? that mean delete all the requests ???
there are like 200 requests in cube 0SD_C03 because the data was loading from last 5 months..
do i have to manually turn all requests in to red and delete it ???
also when i ran oli9bw
it ended up in error saying PROGRAM TERMINATed
time limit exceeded!!!
and then in smq1 there r no queues visible for 13 and 11

Delta enabling for Customised fields

Hi All,
We have customixed info object - 'Subscriber'(ZSUBSCRIB) for 2lis_11_vahdr data source. This field (ZZKZ4 - partner for the contract) is manual input for a Contract in VA42 Tcode. The delta load in BW does not capture changed values for this field. The changed record for this is getting transferred to BIW from ECC by repair full update only. The mentioned field is updated by direct assignment from ECC.
Also I have checked in the RSA2 Tcode in ECC system; for the data source 2LIS_11_VAHDR; the check box is ticked for this field (ZZKZ4) in the column Not transferred to Extractor. Is this affecting the changed records for this field to be transffered by delta.
Request you to let us know if the delta capability can be utilized to update this record in BIW system.

please remove this tick for this field (it causes field's value not to be forwarded to extractor)
In which table you have added new field ? if this is in any table which extractor refers (like vbrp) delta will work for change in that field

2LIS_11_VAHDR does not show deltas

I activated the data source 2LIS_11_VAHDR and when testing the contents of the data source by using RSA6 and selecting DataSource Extraction Test it gives me 285 rows.
These are rows that were there when I activated it.
However we inserted many more orders, from vbak we see more then 800 records.
It looks like something went wrong with the configuration for the delta, can somebody explain me how to configure the delta for this data source?

For initialization:
Step 1: Tcode LBWG delete content of Sales order application compoenent no 11.
Step 2: Fill stepup table by using Tcode OLI7BW(For Sales Order).
Step 3: Test it with Extractor checker(RSA3) put maximum No of extraction , Number of extraction per call.
For: Delta:
Which updatemode(Direct,Delta,Unserialized) did you use for 2LIS_11_VAHDR.see it in Tcode LBWE
If it is direct,
Check the successfull initialization carried out for the datasource 2LIS_11_VAHDR in tcode RSA7.also find delta by press detial icon.Change pointer active in tcode BD61.
If it is delta queue:
You need to run collective job (job control in LBWE)to move extraction queue(LBWQ) to BW delta queue(RSA7).
Step 3: Test it with Extractor checker(RSA3) put maximum No of extraction , Number of extraction per call.

Is there any user exit for changing V1 update value?
For example, sales order number will populate 2LIS_11_VAHDR-VBELN. If other value need to populate 2LIS_11_VAHDR-VBELN, can we use any user exit to customize the V1 routine?
Please forget the enhancement for 2LIS_11_VAHDR. Just populate the system field VBELN.

Use the 'usual' user-exit for transactional data in R/3 EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 (CMOD). Here your can overwrite VBELN for each extracted record with the value you want.

In R3 system, I wrote an exit for 2LIS_11_VAHDR by using T-code CMOD in the function exit EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 and the code does not meet my requirement today i want to delete the code and i will write the fresh one. now my problem is i am not able to delete the code can any body suggest me how to delete the old code.
and can we create new project and can we assign to the Enhancement RSAP0001.

You can put the code in comments, if you don't want to use the old code..You can delete also..But be sure that code belongs to you only..

Comment(Or can delete) the code starting from WHEN '2LIS_11_VAHDR'. to the end of the code that you have written..
If you really want to delete the assignment of RSAP0001 to your old project>goto CMOD>your project name>change>delete assigment
Then create a new project and assign the enhancement RSAP0001 to your new project and write the code in Include 'ZXRSAU01'..

Error while filling setup table

Hello all
I am trying to fill a setup table for 2lis_11_vahdr DS. I deleted setup table firts using LBWG and then proceeded the setup process by using OLI7BW , while i did that i got an error message "Error determing rate:foreign curr.DEM local curr.EUR date 02.01.1997(doc 4969)"
could anyone tell me what this error is referring to ?

I also think this is a problem of Exchange rate only..............maintain the exchange rate in SPRO >> General Settings >> Enter Exchange Rates.(Tcode : OB08 )
Exchange rate table is TCURR.
Exchange rates are maintained in r/3 and transfer to bw.................rsa1>>source system>>r/3 source system>>right click Transfer...........

DS enhancement

Hello Gurus,
I am practicing on enhancing datasource for 2lis_11_vahdr.
I managed to add 2 fields in rsa6 with zztid,zztname. Now i went to LBWE to add those fileds to seletion criteria but its not listed in pool. I think only after selecting here we can do the coding part in cmod.

Do you see those fields in the communication structure in DS?In lBWE when u click on the maintanance of DS u will get a screen where u will be having left screen and right screen..... Right side screen is the Communication structure and left side screen is the extract structure....... Drag those fileds into extract structure once u drag them then by default hide and filed only will be selected uncheck them if u want them into BW...

This is all my implementation, I dont know why there's always nothing retrieved, even no Return Message.
I of course have the right JCO connection, if not, this view will not display.
My wonder is my initilization for two table maybe wrong:

This will make my application run only one time, the second time a NullPointerException will be thrown. So there's also a question: what's the usage of this line?

LO Extraction Scheduling in SAP ECC 6.0 Question.

I activated LO extraction for 2LIS_11_VAHDR
Which is the best option "Update Mode" like Queued Delta, Direct Delata, Unserialized V3 Update ?
Under "Job Control" I selected "Start Date" like today's date & time and Start job(every) = 10mints
When I try to schedule job system is giving error message "Error Generating job"
When I click "Job Overview" system saying "Job list is empty"
I did't selecte print param
Bottom line is I need to schedule this job every 10mints every day in order to get the Delta records into RSA7.

If we can't schedule this job every 10 mints how can I able to retrive the delta records into Queue(RSA7)

Problem with query 0SD_C03_Q009 / Infocube OSD_C003

Hello,
I am new to BI and have a question because I implemented the Internal Sales Rep business package in the portal which includes an iView with BI query 0SD_C03_Q009. This is for NW2004s IDES installation.
All of the business content, extractors, etc., have been activated and data has been extracted to BI. However, when the query runs, all the values (i.e. Incoming order value, Billing value, etc.) are zero. However, if go into the BI Administrators Workbench (RSA1) and right-click on the InfoCube (0SD_C03) and use the display data function, I can see the correct records in the cube with values in the 0NET_VAL_S field. However, there appears to be two "types" of records -- some with the values populated and others without. I believe these represent data extracted from 2LIS_11_VAITM and 2LIS_11_VAHDR respectively. Also, when checking the update rules, I can see that only "No. of docs" is active for 2LIS_11_VAHDR whereas all the other fields, including 0NET_VAL_S is active for 2LIS_11_VAITM.
For some reason, it appears that the query is only pulling in the "header" records that do not have 0NET_VAL_S populated which is why my results have zero values.
Can someone explain why the query appears to only be pulling in the "header" records? Or is there something wrong in my update rules and I should really have more fields active than just the "No. of docs"? Did I go wrong somewhere in the process of activating the business content, update rules, extractors, etc?
