Ins lot creation at componenyt Good receipt (Ins type 01)

Hi
We are doing the good receipt of external procured items and for a material (A) and a unique batch (B) if Good receipts are at different point of time still we generate inspection lot/sample plan only at first good receipt. There is no new insp lot/sample plan generated whenever was the last good receipt.This is standard SAP.
Now we want that if last  good receipt for a mareial (A) and batch (B) was older than one year then a new insp lot/sample plan should be generated( Since vendor is supplying the same batch for which we had good receipt one year before).
Please suggest how to map it. Is there any user exit to it?
Thanx

Hello Vineet,
you could do the following:
Set the inspection setting to ' ' for each GR
Then activate the exit QAAT0001 in which you could create the following IF clause:
IQALS is an internal table.
Please don't forget the following line!
E_TQ32 = I_TQ32.
IF I_TQ32-HERKUNFT = '01'.
Select * from QALS into IQALS where
                    HERKUNFT = ITQ32-HERKUNFT
                    MATNR = I_MATNR
                   WERKS = I_WERKS and
                   CHARG = I_CHARG.
IF SY-SUBRC IS INITIAL.
    LOOP AT IQALS.
      IF IQALS-ENSTEHDAT < SY-DATUM - 365.
          E_NO_INSPECTION = 'X'
       ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
I think that simular coding might resolve the described issue.

Isabelle

  • Can we get our own defined Goods Receipt doc type in the [OMBT] tranx?

    Hi Friends,
    We copied and defined new goods receipt document types for our internal purpose to define new number ranges for each document type?
    Actually we have two types of Goods receipts which are identified by different number ranges.
    So we defined two Goods receipts document types which are not appearing in the OMBT transaction code to assign new number ranges.Is there any settings to do this to appear in this transaction.
    Can we have different number ranges for these two different goods receipts?
    Thanks in advance...
    Regards.....KB

    Hi
    In whcih transaction were you able to create a new GR document type.
    I am not sure what doucment type you have created.
    Document types similar to WE , WA, WI cannot be created.( Not accounting document types)
    These document types are attached to the Transaction such as MIGO, MB1A, MB1B, MB1C.
    You cannot have two different number ranges based on document types in Goods receipt transactions.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Good Receipt (movment type : 161) for a PO (PO with Return items) -- Error

    Hi,
    When i post a good receipt (movment type : 161) for a PO (PO with Return items), i have this Error Message :
    " Account 61522200 requires an assignment to a CO object "
    Note : in this GR i have already : Profit center, Funds center and Order (CO objects)
    So please what could be the reason ? and how to resolve it ?
    Please advise
    Regards.

    Please check first the field status of the account in FS00. If this account requires CO object as mandatory then check whether a cost element is created or not , this error normally occurs when CO object is mandatory but relevant cost element is not created.
    (or)
    Goto OKB9 :   The u201CChage View u201CDefault account assignment: Overviewu201D appears. Enter the company code, cost element, and default cost object. The cost object could be a cost center, internal order or profit center.

  • Goods Receipt Mvt Type 501

    Hi Guru,
    I did a Goods Receipt for NonValuated Materials with Mvt type 501. When displaying the Material Document, I noticed when I clicked on Doc. Info. tab that in front of Transaction Code: Goods Movement box, there is MIGO_GI sign instead of MIGO_GR as expected (since it is a goods receipt). Could you please tell me what to do to get the correct sign MIGO_GR?
    Thx in advance.
    BD

    Hi,
       The MIGO header will show the transaction code and its description only. The transaction code is the transaction code used for posting the doc and the description is maintained in table TSTC against the transaction code. There will be only one description for a transaction code and the description for MB0A or MB01 is maintained as "Post Goods Receipt for PO" in TSTC table. Hence the same is available in MIGO header, if the transaction code is MB0A or MB01.
        The movement type differentiate whether the goods movement is for PO or without PO. Still the transaction code and the description will remain the same.
    Hope its clear.

    Hi,

    WE20 Partner Profile is maintained with properly port and RFC destination.
    MIGO - Enter the PO number
    Checking the box - 'Print via output control' in the header - with 'Collective Slip'
    After executing above steps once I save the GR, the message Output type give me an error - 'Document is not valid for this IDOC'
    I am just confused that IDOC is not yet created then also the system gives then error.

  • Lot Size Check at Good Receipt in MIGO

    How can I check lot sizes at the point of GR within MIGO? (as oppose to qty tolerances).
    Example, if my lot size is 100 and I raise a PO for 100 at the GR is for qty 80 (i.e not a complete lot size, which could mean a split pack) how can I get the system to produce an error message?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    U can use Shipping Instruction which is there in Purchasing Value Key(Purchasig View). Using this while GR u can give some points for Complete supply or Partial Supply.
    This is for tracking of partial supply and u can aslo this info. for vendor evaluation..

  • Creation of a Goods receipt based on an ASN in SRM

    Hi,
    we want to implement a scenario like this (with SRM 7.0):
    1) Requester creates Catalog SC;
    2) SC gets approved;
    3) PO is created (at this moment we haven't chosen between classic or Extended Classic scenario)
    4) Supplier Connects to a Portal (not SRM) and post an ASN in SAP Backend
    5) (THIS IS THE QUESTION): is it possible for the Requester (who created the SC) to post (in SRM) a GR based on the ASN that it has been created in SAP?
    Additional Info: in this scenario SUS system is not foreseen; only SRM (EBP) and SAP backend system
    Thanks

  • Re: Goods Receipt Movement Type

    Dear all,
    For a PO, GR has been performed. However, how come in ME23N, under PO History tab, how come I can see that the Mvt Type is 105 for the full amount and 103 for zero amount. What does it mean?
    Isn't the right Mvt Type should be 101 - where we are receiving stock into the warehouse instead?
    Hence, is this GR completed? How can I confirm? Where can I check there is a increase in stock if received?
    Thanks.

    Hii,
    For Blocked stock value will not be updated.
    Only after releasing the blocked stock the Inventory value is updated.
    This is nothing but the Two step process
    If it is one step process i.e nothing but the 101 Mvt Type stock & inventory value will be updated.
    Blocked stock can be seen in all the Stock reports i.e MMBE & MB52

  • Quality Management During Goods Receipt (Inspection Lot)

    Hi all,
    >>>>>>>>>>>>
    REQUIREMENT
    <<<<<<<<<<<<
    I have a requirement that i need to write an interface program which will receive a file from external agency (manufacturer) and process goods receipt until inspection results. The following steps need to be taken care of;
    1) Create a equipment (Utilities - It is an unique identifier for each unit of the material).
    2) Do Goods Receipt for the PO with the equipment numbers created.
    3) Create Inspection Lot for the material document created during the GR for each equipment number.
    4) Execute Inspection Result.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>
    INFO NOW
    <<<<<<<<<<<<
    Inspection lot can be created from MIGO directly by SPRO config and MM master data maintenance.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>
    DONE
    <<<<<<<<<<<<
    Called BAPI to create Equipment.
    Called BAPI to create Goods Receipt.
    Inspection Lot Settings to create lots during MIGO
    1) New Inspection Type Created as SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection types. The maintenance is a copy of type 01.
    2) Assign Inspection Type to Lot Origin at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types. SG1 is maintained against lot origin 01 with variant 01.
    3) Set Default values for SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Define Default Values for Inspection Type with parameters same as for 01.
    4) In Material master for the record set the inspection setup in the quality management tab. put SG1 as active and preferred. Also set Post to insp Stock, Insp with task list, Auto Assign, Skips allowed, Serial Numbers poss, Control Insp lot as For each Material Doc Item.
    I have to kow how to select the Inspection Plan for the lot and thus set the status of lot to released and get it ready for results.
    I also have BAPI ready for Inspection Result.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>
    TESTING
    <<<<<<<<<<<<
    I have tested it and was working fine till last thursday. I have the above mentioned settings even now in the system. Can there be anything else which the functional consultants would have change that affected the process. Anyways now the inspection lot is not getting created for the Inspection during MIGO and I am really struggling to find the exact reason.
    For your info, I am working mostly on Utilities and so do not have much idea about the quality management stuff.

    QUESTION

    Why the inspection lot is not getting created during MIGO for my scenarion?
    How to select the inspection plan in the program?

  • Goods Receipt generates inspection lot using inspection type 08

    Hi,
    I have two plants A and B. I have set up my materials with an 08 inspection type plant B. Material transfers from plant A and B generate an inspection lot using inspection type 08 and inspection lot origin 08. This works perfectly.
    However if I use a stock transfer between two storage locations within 1 plant, using stock transfer order, inspection lot is generated using inspection type 08 when GR is performed.
    Is there a link between 08 inspection type and 101 movement
    Regards

    Yes ,101 & 08 are associated with each other for stock transfer order that is only when receipt indicator is "X" and mvt indicator is prchase order.
    If you do not want this to haapen then
    copy mvt type 101 as Z01 & for this mvt type deactivate QM in
    QCC3->inspection lot creation->Inspect for goods mvt->Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type>Z01-->deactivate
    Use this mvt type when you are tranferring material from storage location to storage Location.
    This will not create any inspection lot.

  • Inspection Lot creation for the 103 movement type

    <<Don't ask for or offer points>>
    Dear Experts,
    we have the requirement of Creating the Inspection lot for the 103 movement type. we have done all the necessary settings for 103 movement type (in OMJJ and under the node   Quality Management --> Quality Inspection -->Inspection Lot Creation -->Inspection for Goods Movements) but still I am unable to achieve the results. Same is happening for 105 movements.
    Kindly let us know what settings need to be done in order to achieve the same.
    Full points will be awarded for the reply
    Regards.

    Hi,
    If you have activated two inspection types (eg 01, 0101) of same inspection lot origin (01), in material master you should  have a preferred indicator set for the inspection type for which you want to be selected when you perform goods receipt.
    This check box is available in the inspection type set up in the Material master.
    Also check whether the post to inspection stock indicator is set for the material (in the inspection type), then only material will be posted to inspection stock.
    Please confirm, what happens to the stock after making MIGO. check in MMBE and confirm
    Go through the link and maintain the necessary settings. I think default settings for 01 type should work.

  • Goods Receipt 511 with message QM Only QA495

    Hi experts:
    I'm trying to do an 511 movement for a material, but appears the following message "Change the inspection stock of material 000000000000425217 in QM only".
    My material has inspection typ :
    01 - Goods receipt inspection purchase order
    05 - Inspection for other goods receipt
    08 - Stock transfer
    Checking the inspection type for goods movements  (Quality Management ==> Quality Inspection ==> Inspection Lot Creation ==> Inspection for Goods Movement) I can check that 511 movement has inspection lot origin 05..
    Somebody can help me?

    Check whether 05 inspection lot is already created.Check the stock type when you are doing movement.It should be "Quality " & not "Unrestricted"'
    Also make sure that in OMJJ what are allowed T codes.
