Insert PHP-form into XHTML-div

Maybe a noobish question but i cannot find the solution on the web...
I have a XHTML based index.html.
I use Spry tabbed panels.
In 1 Panel (Contact Panel) i like to have a email form displayed.
How do i show my Form.php inside this div?
I want the Content div to display the php form without putting the php code in the div.
Header
Menu
Content [here do i want to display the form]
Footer

Best to use an external PHP page and link the form to it. Something like:
<form action="php/sendform.php" method="post" name="contactForm" id="contactForm">
Then lay the form out the way you want in the DIV.

  • Inserting Fillable forms into PDFs converted from word

    I need some help with inserting a fillable form I created in Live Cycle.  When I go to insert the form into a file that was originally created in word and saved as a PDF,I receive a message (see below)
    I need to be able to find a way to insert the fillable form to the end of a regular PDF, without losing the capabilities of the form, including a submit by email button, which I tried both as the Email submit button and the regular button, formatted to submit a email in response.
    I don't know if there is some settings or preferences that I can change to be able to insert the form, but I need it to be one document.I know that this is not impossible, as I have seen other documents in this formatting, I just cant seem to be able to get it.

  • Fluid grid for Wordpress: insert PHP code into DW or DW code into Wordpress?

    This may be a stupid question but it's a dilemma for me. Here's the problem. I want to create a mobile first, fluid grid Wordpress website in Dreamweaver CS6 based on an existing Wordpress theme. I can see two ways of doing that:
    1) Create a fluid grid layout in DW, then insert the Wordpress PHP code into the right places in DW
    Pro: the fluid grid layout is set up by DW and therefore can be easily edited with DW (I imagine)
    Con: It is beyond my coding skills to make a fully functional WP template
    2) Take an existing responsive Wordpress template with media queries and edit that in Dreamweaver
    Pro: I start with a fully functional WP template and only have to make changes (mostly in CSS) to customise it
    Con: When I start with an existing template (like Skeleton) I run into trouble using DW
    For example: I click a navigation button to get at the CSS but it's not clear to me from DW's interface in which media query I have to make changes. I did a tutorial on creating a fluid grid layout with DW so I can do that. But DW doesn't work the same way with an existing WP template like Skeleton. I searched the web but all I can find is help on creating a fluid layout with DW, not editing an existing one.
    By the way, I am experienced with HTML/CSS but not PHP and I have a local Wordpress server running on my Mac so I can work in Dreamweaver's Live View.
    The problem may be that I am only just starting with responsive web design and need some more experience with media queries, css rules and DW CS6. Could anyone comment on this problem or point me towards more information on the subject?
    TIA!

    You can certainly use DW to customize a 3rd party WP Theme.  However, you must be throughly familliar with how WordPress Themes work and have a good working knowledge of  HTML, CSS and PHP code.  Design View will not be much help to you.
    WP Themes are a sum of their various parts:  header.php, footer,php, sidebar.php, page.php, index.php, archive.php, etc...  The web server parses code from the various parts and creates whole pages on the fly.  Once WP is deployed on your server, you cannot use DW to edit content.  You must use the WP Admin Panel (CMS) to manage content, Themes, plugins and backup data.
    For simple static sites, the FluidGrid Layout feature in DW is a nice starting point.  But these layouts have definite  limitations which, IMO would not be a good fit with WordPress.

  • Inserting a form into portal

    What do I need to do to insert a form I build in forms developer into my portal? Please go step by step. Thanks a lot!!

    1. Enable Forms SSO in the forms90/server/forms90.conf file
    (Uncomment the SSO directives available at last)
    Create Resource access configuration for the User also.
    2. In the Portals create an URL Item pointing to the Form you wanna deploy.
    3. Add the URL item portlet into the Portal page.

  • Inserting PDF form into Word

    I am needing to insert an interactive PDF form into a section in a word document. It is an approval page and MUST be pdf-protected, but still let the user fill in the areas where allowed. Word lets me insert this file and I am able to type in the areas where needed - the interactive feature works great to this point. Even after saving what I've typed/entered, it still doesn't display what I typed in Word (the inserted interactive PDF). Can anyone tell me how I can get my pdf to work properly this way?

    I have not done this but I can assure you that there is nothing in Designer to do with this. At that point it is a PDF so how woudl you add any other PDF to your swing panel?

  • Inserting developed forms into portal

    What do I need to do to insert a form I build in forms developer into my portal? Please go step by step. Thanks a lot!!

    Mathew,
    if you simply link from portal to forms then the required trasks are simple in that you create a link in Portal and provide the Forms startup URL. In Oracle9i Forms, Forms and Portal share the same SSO scheme so that you are fine for that.
    If you like forms to be a Portlet within Portal, then there are quite some difficulties to be aware of:
    1. It seems that Portal doesn't pass the full HTTP header to Forms which means that Forms does not know about the Browser type your are using (as well as the language set on the client). This measn you have to configure the application to always use JInitiator (which works on both Browser types)
    2. Portal redirects the request making relative URLs fail. Make sure you use absolute URLs in the formsweb.cfg file (e.g. the serverURL parameter for the Forms Listener Servlet).
    3. In Forms9i, reloading a page does restart Forms and reloading a page is what Portal does all the time. Use the Java 1.4 Plugin instead of JInitiator and set the legacy parameter to make it behave like Forms6i. Note that the change in behaviour was added by SUN in Java.
    4. In Portal use the URL portlet from the JPDK to link Forms into Portal
    Actually from exoerience our recommendation still is to run Forms in an extra Window.

  • Insert Flash SWF into a DIV?

    Hi,
    Is it recommended to keep SWF files within its own DIV?
    I have the DIV identified as 'Flash' (div id="flash")...is this a good idea to keep things in place as intended?
    Thanks!

    That's right, it makes no difference what you name the <div>, but if you use id="flash", keep in mind that you cannot reuse that id to display a second .swf on the same page, while using a class would allow you to reuse that class name as often as needed on a page with multiple .swfs.
    So depending on your particular page, you may find using one or the other method, or a combination of the two.... (id vs class) will work better for you.
    Best wishes,

  • Insert multiple records into a table(Oracle 9i) from a single PHP statement

    How can I insert multiple records into a table(Oracle 9i) from a single PHP statement?
    From what all I've found, the statement below would work if I were using MySQL:
         insert into scen
         (indx,share,expire,pitch,curve,surface,call)
         values
         (81202, 28, 171, .27, 0, 0, 'C' ),
         (81204, 28, 501, .25, 0, 0, 'C' ),
         (81203, 17, 35, .222, 0, 0, 'C' ),
         (81202, 28, 171, .27, 2, 0, 'C' ),
         (81204, 28, 501, .20, 0, 1, 'C' ),
         (81203, 28, 135, .22, 1, 0, 'C' )
    The amount of records varies into the multiple-dozens. My aim is to utilize the power of Oracle while avoiding the i/o of dozens of single-record inserts.
    Thank you,
    Will

    You could look at the INSERT ALL statement found in the documentation here:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96540/statements_913a.htm#2133161
    My personal opinion is that you probably won't see any benefit because under the hood I think Oracle will still be doing single row inserts. I could be wrong though.
    The only way to confirm was if you did a test of multiple inserts vs an INSERT ALL, that is if the INSERT ALL met your requirements.

  • Acrobat form field that allows Reader user to browse and insert a picture into a predefined area

    Is there a way to do insert a form field into an AcroForm that allow Reader users to browse and insert a picture into that form field?
    I know that LiveCycle can do this, but I need to do this using an AcroForm. Or maybe there's a third-party plug-in that can be used in an AcroForm to do this?

    Jay,
    The new version of Reader, which was announced today (see AcrobatUsers.com), will now allow you to use the field.buttonImportIcon method: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.737.html
    For a bit more information, see: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/743823
    Here's the minimum code that can be used in the Mouse Up event of a button that's configured with a layout that's something other than "Label only":
    // Mouse Up script for a button
    event.target.buttonImportIcon();
    Since this isn't backwards compatible with Reader, you'll probably want to add additional code to test what version is being used and alert the user if it's pre-11. You should also check the return value to see if anything went wrong. The hard part is getting everyone to upgrade, but this and a number of other features should make it worth it.

  • Need to add senders email address into the subject header of my PHP form (somehow)

    Hello one and all,
    I have a PHP form which is working fine and sends our support team an email with the subject header 'Support'.
    I have been asked to fix this form to include the senders email address into the Subject header so that the support team can filter them easier and reply quicker.
    Any help would be very much appreciated indeed. The form code is below, let me know if you need the whole page.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bradley
    My current form PHP part looks like this: (and the HTML part is below in blue)
    <?php
        if($_GET["action"] == "email")
            $msg = "The following person need support:\n\n";
            $msg = $msg . "First Name: " . $_POST["FirstName"] . " " . $_POST["LastName"] . "\n";
            $msg = $msg . "Tel: " . $_POST["Tel"] . "\n";
            $msg = $msg . "Email: " . $_POST["FROM"] . "\n";
            $msg = $msg . "Support: " . $_POST["Support"] . "\n";
            $msg = $msg . "Model: " . $_POST["Model"] . "\n";
            $msg = $msg . "Comments: " . $_POST["Comments"] . "\n";

            mail($to, $subject, $msg, $emailFrom, $from);
            header("Location:support2.php");
    ?>
    and the HTML part of the fom is like this:
    <form id="form1" name="form1" method="post" action="support.php?action=email">

  • Online php form (inserts) in pdf form and send via email

    So first hello all.
    There are 4 PDF Forms amd 4 php forms on a website.
    The user should be able to fill out the php form, click on send and the inserts from the user should be stored in the pdf form and send to an email adress.
    I know that there are 3rd party tools, the convert it to a image, draw the inserts and convert it back.
    But i want to know, how to do it with acrobat itself.
    Is there any way to put varaibles in the pdf where php can set (fill)
    If this is impossible:
    I have heard, that there is a server version from acrobat who can manage this.
    The information about this is rarly like i dont understand how much the costs are.
    First : price x (for the server software itself)
    Second: price y (for every processed document)
    Many thanks in advance
    IT Technik Schiedt

    You cannot use Acrobat on a server in that manner. Acrobat is licensed for one user one system at a time.
    You can create and FDF file with the form field data and use that data to fill-in a PDF. You needd to create a unique PDF that could be added to an email and then deleted. You could also accumulate the data in a database.

    Apologies in advance if something similar already exists, and as a print-based designer I'm likely to use incorrect terminology.
    I've created a basic website that requires a custom form. I've created this form using dreamweaver as it requires a dropdown and a check box. The unstyled html from DW I then insert into Muse via the 'Insert HTML' function, on a page called 'booking form'
    To style it I did the following...
    - Opened the form I created back in DW and added classes to the labels .formname, and added a class to some terms and conditions that sits somewhere in the form and called that .formsubtext
    - Copied all of this code and inserted it back into Muse via Insert HTML
    - The form shows up unstyled as expected
    - I export the site as HTML
    - Go into the exported folder into the CSS, and into the corresponding css file booking-form.css
    - Added some custom CSS styling to reflect the font and colour I wanted to use
    - Re-uploaded those edited files
    - The result was that it rendered the class .formsubtext reflecting the terms and conditions as it should but not all the other labels
    Would someone be able to tell me a better way to style a custom form or point out what I've done wrong.
    Thanks!!!

    If you have structured your HTML markup for the form well using appropriate class and id names, then you can just add corresponding CSS using the <style> element in the "HTML for <head>" section in Page Properites > Metadata.
    You may also choose to add all the CSS in a separate file and add reference to that in the HTML for <head> section and then upload the CSS file in appropriate location after publish.
