Inserting a field at a bookmark location.

I'd like to be able to programmatically insert a signature field into a pdf that has been created via an MS Excel macro that accesses MS Word. Everything works great so so far, including being able to insert the signature field.
However, the location (vertical) of the signature field may change from pdf to pdf so I thought I might be able to insert that field at the location of a bookmark that has been created in MS Work and successfully transferred to the pdf. But, it seems bookmarks don't have location attributes so I can "locate" the bookmark.
And the addField method seems to only want the four points of a rectangle in order to insert the field.
Having written all that, can anyone suggest how I might achieve my goal of inserting a field at a location that may change?

As you've noticed, bookmarks and fields do not operate in the same way.
What you can do, though, is write a script that will add a signature field
to each page a bookmark is pointing to (at a pre-defined location, such as
one of the corners). This can be achieved using a custom script.

I've searched around a bit about this. I can't find anything about anyone who had the same problem.
I was reporting along and suddenly CR v8.5 wouldn't let me insert a field anymore. I can't insert a field on a new or old report from the field exporer. I drag the field to the area of the report that I want to drop it and it stays a black circle with a line through it. It won't allow me to insert any field in any report.
I tested this on my coworkers computer and his is working fine. Same version, same report, same field.
What would cause my install of CR to stop allowing insertion of fields?

For anyone else that runs into this issue. I searched heavily and came up with nothing.
I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the application and that fixed the problem.
I still don't know the original cause . . .

Hi,
To insert the text and field value inside the template you need to add insert the text inside the tempate node.
assign the text or field into the text and then decide the position of the ext in the templete in output condition tab or text.
insert the row and column number in the this to filed where you want to display the text.
for e.g if field needs to displayed in the 2nd row and 3rd column then mention line = 2 and column = 3 in the output tab of the text.

Field Selection in Notification Location TAB.

Hi gurus,
I found setting of field selection for a Location tab of Notification in OIAZ.
My problem is i need to make more than one field as mandatory.
But when i try to make more than one the previosuly selected field status is changing to original.
can anyone give ur valuable comments

as you said you can make any no of field mandatory in OIAZ i dont think there will be a problem ,i checked in my system its working fine, can you say which field you want to make mandatory.

I am implementing the land use management enhancement. It allows me to define an object called a "Public Register" which represents a "set" of land objecs (land parcels, rental units, etc) under special circumstances such as hazardous areas.
Unfortunately it returns two errors on validation/save:
Field ID of Standard Location Structure for Development empty
Field ID of Standard Location Structure for Easement Reg empty
It has no description or reference to any documentation.
What could this error mean?

I used the FM u201CISU_M_FUNCLOC_CHANGEu201D for changing the Functional data (Including Header and Address data), but this FM will not work for my requirement as it clears the entire data in the transaction and updates the one which i pass. I looked for the BAPI u201CBAPI_FUNCLOC_CHANGEu201D, this is also not working to update the Address fields.
Please let me know the way i can update the header as well as address fields in a functional location simultaneously.

SNOTE is a transaction to implement OSS SAP notes on SAP system.
Nevertheless, for two notes indicated, they are how-to: you don't have to implement them but you have to read them on the SAP marketplace.
User and login are mandatory: ask them to your team leader.
But i am not sure those notes are relevant for Enterprise Portal.

Maps routes go wrong using bookmarked locations

I'm finding some weird behaviour in Maps and wonder if others can see it?
Two problems so far:
- if I search for my postcode, then bookmark it as 'Home', then ask for directions from somewhere to or from 'Home' (retrieved from Bookmarks) then I get error message 'driving directions can't be received'
- but if instead of using the bookmark for 'Home' I enter the postcode again then the route is supplied and is correct
- if I name the bookmark for 'Home' something else then it seems to work OK as start or end of journey. I wonder if it doesn't like the word 'Home'?
- if I try to plot other journeys using other bookmarks then the route is not between the pushpins! It seems to start or end based on some past location looked for in Maps.
It seems to me that there's some issue where the Maps bookmarks get corrupted/confused. If I enter both ends of the journey manually (i.e not using a bookmark) then all seems fine.
Will keep experimenting to see if there's any pattern to this. Have others found similar problems with routes and bookmarks?

I noticed Maps was totally out of it's mind last week! It couldn't find anything, and the directions were completely jacked up. In one instance it gave me directions from WHERE I ACTUALLY WAS, and not the bookmarked location I asked for. It was actually for the better but I couldn't understand how it knew where I was, and if it didn't know, that was one seriously lucky accident. In some instances it couldn't give me directions from one bookmarked location to another but if I reversed them, it worked fine. BIZARRE!

Where is the Description field in Android bookmarks sync'ed from desktop?

I have recently installed Firefox Android 24.0 on my HTC Sensation 4G (Android 2.3.4) and sync'ed it with my desktop computer. When I edit a bookmark, I see only Name, Location and Keyword; no Tags or Description fields. I use the Description field for logon criteria for many websites and it's one of the main reasons I switched from the default browser to Firefox Android.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Back button still malfunctions (i.e., kicks you out of Firefox rather than back to the Firefox homepage) even if Firefox is booted directly. I just installed Firefox 14.0.1 on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet SCH-I800, firmware version 2.3.5. (Otherwise it looks and feels great.)

Could the folder in which a bookmark is in be included as an additional field in the bookmark library on future updates?

I think it would be really useful on searches, particularly for intensive bookmarks users such as myself, that an additional information field was available for selection on the bookmark library (in addition to "Name", "Tags", "Location", "Visit count"...) to locate the folder in which a bookmark is in (in addition to the way described here: [[http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How%20to%20find%20which%20folder%20a%20bookmark%20is%20in?s=bookmarks+folder+search&as=s]]). An option to go to that folder in the menu that appears when right-clicking a bookmark would be very handy too. That kind of functionality can be found on Chrome as reference, and although I have gone back to Firefox as my main browser after a time evaluating Chrome, I think some of these features would be worth implementing in future Firefox updates.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for these improvements, but I haven't found any section dedicated to collect this kind of suggestions.
