Install Output Module

Why can no one else seem to explain it this simply. It was a piece of cake after I actually could find the Library.
To install already downloaded Output Module:
1. Open Adobe Bridge
2. In folders on the side go through: Desktop > Users > Library > Adobe > Bridge CC > Workspaces
3. Drag downloaded info to "Workspaces"

Thank you! There are two different Libraries on the Mac an I had the wrong one!
The wrong one is located in users home>Library (Hidden hold option)>Application Support>Adobe> No Bridge Extensions folder
The Correct one is as listed above: Macintosh HD > Library > Adobe > Bridge CC > Workspaces
Two very big differences in folder location and the instructions found here: Install Adobe Output Module Only show the Library folder not which one it is. Problem solved.

When having a subscription to Adobe CC you also should have the application Adobe Creative Cloud in you App folder.  Use thi application to download and install Bridge CC again.

  • Want to install Output Module in Adobe Bridge CC on Mac OS X, Version 10.9.2, but in my Library hierarchy there is no folder "Adobe Bridge CC Extensions".  Where install downloaded files?

    Hello,
Unfortunately, the output module is not pre-installed in Adobe Bridge CC anymore. So I downloaded the files provided. These are supposed to be saved in the following folder: "Bridge CC Extensions". This is supposed to be under Library > Application Support > Adobe > Bridge CC. However, there is no such folder. Do I have to create it?
Thank you for a hint on what to do.
    Best,
    Heike

Thank you for a hint on what to do.
Check this thread and read the instructions of the download carefully. You have two libraries, one at system level and one at user level.

  • Adobe Brigde CC down after installing 'output' module.

I've tried to install the Adobe Bridge CC output module (Install Adobe Output Module) on my MacBook pro but after that the program won't open / work any more
I've already removed the extra installation and reinstalled Adobe Bridge CC several times, but nothing works.
For my school and work, I need to be able to use Adobe Brigde so I need to get this program working again.
    Please, help is needed.

Nope never found a solution to it. In the end I just used the print module in Lightroom to create my contact sheets, actually turned out to be easier and quicker in the end.

  • How to install output module

I am trying to install the Output module with Adobe Bridge and I have followed the instructions on Adobe's site. However,
the instructions say to install the files to path that is non-existent, to my current knowledge.
    For example: It's saying to install a folder into library/application support/adobe bridge/extensions.
All I see is Applications/Adobe Bridge CC/plugins and some other folders. Plugins seems like the most related option, so I have already tried to install the folder/file there but still do not see the option to use the module in the Adobe Bridge CC software.
It may helpful to know that this is a brand new computer so maybe the information may need to be slightly adjusted?
    Could use some help!
    Thanks!

  • 2 error messages - failed to install extention 2.1 and output module 2.1

I just tried to update my Encore CS4 from the Master Suite. I have two error messages " failed to install extention Mgr. CS4 2.1 and failed to install output module update 2.1
Encore will load a new project and save but I can't do anything else like add files before it crashes.  Any help please. - Art

This might not apply with En CS4, but there were some issues on install, and on updates in Photoshop. It seems that MS had a bum MSI (Installer) version, and it caused a lot of PS installs and updates to fail. Do not recall any specific error messages. The cure there was to download and install the revised MSI module from the MS site. I would imagine that any MSI module would be heavily Windows version-specific. Take that as a warning to check any very carefully, before downloading and installing. MS is pretty good at having a ReadMe with installation instructions for each such download. It almost always contains the exact versions of Windows, that the file is for. Please read any installation instructions carefully.
This might be worth a look. I do not have a link to the exact page, but a search of the MS site should yield something. I'd search for "MSI," to start.
I just do not recall any issues with En and either installation (on proper systems with updated OS's) or with any updates.
Good luck, and please report your success.

  • Adobe Bridge CC Output Module Issues

I'm having to continually uninstall and reinstall the Output Module folder and workspaces file. The web gallery function in Bridge will work a few times, and then the next time I try to use it, it will create a folder with the usual index and resources, but when I click on it to test it, or upload it onto my server, no gallery or images or anything ever loads. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Output Module files (found at http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html) at least five times. I'm running it on a MacBook Pro with 10.7.5 and Bridge CC is current.

There are several long threads about this subject.
Be sure to follow the instructions exactly (using the correct libraries and folders, be aware that by default the user library in Mac is hidden per OSX7) and also look at these threads:

  • Bridge CC, unsuccessful manual installation for output module.

I have manually installed the Adobe Output Module for Bridge CC.  I followed EVERY STEP in the directions from http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
After installation, I am receiving the "I/O error".  I have googled this error, and it appears that many are having this same issue, and no one has a solution to fix the problem.  I am currently taking an online graphics course, and this first assignment should only take 1 hour...I am now up to 8 hours of trying to troubleshoot this and figure this out...and I'm wasting my Labor Day.  I'm so frustrated and almost to the point of canceling my Creative Cloud membership AND my online class since I'm already running into problems with Assignment #1.  I do have the CS3 program, but I do not want to go through this class with such an outdated program.
Does Adobe know if they are working to fix this problem, or if it will ever be fixed?  If they are in the process of fixing it, do they know approximately how long it will take?  Can someone please offer a solution or shine some light on the topic.  I am working on a MacBook Pro laptop, Mac OS X version 10.6.8.
    Thank you!

No, I can not get older versions.  I would have to pay $999 for CS6
This is not true, you should be able to download CS6 for free with your CC subscription:
    From the FAQ of CC:
Do Creative Cloud members have access to previous versions of Creative Cloud apps?
Yes. Creative Cloud paid members have access to a select set of archived versions of the desktop apps. Starting with CS6, select versions of each of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Archived versions are provided "as is" and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.
You just have to dig a bit deeper in the Creative Cloud download center.
    Try this link:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products/photoshop
Or visit the Creative cloud page and look for the download center, select Photoshop icon and from this page you can select either CC or CS6

  • Bridge CC Output Module not working for me

I have installed the Output Module in Bridge CC (Which I can't believ was not included and that it is not an auto update as I thought was one of the big positives of this whole CC concept)  but while it opens and looks ok, when I try to create and save a pdf contact scheet, I get a message saying "The file or folder does not exist." and nothing is created or saved.  What gives?  This is a major feature of Bridge to me as I use it a lot.
By the way, the web gallery does not work at all, either.
