You should install the script at a predefined location, for example $HOME/bin, or whatever you prefer.
For the 'load into crontab' you should refer to the crontab command at the unix reference, just type man crontab and you will get further details on the crontab command.

I would like to run a daily job that will export the table data from SQL server table (it will be only one or two table) and Import back into Oracle table (it might one or two table tables).

Normally i do from flat file which is generated by source destination nand i dump into oracle using sql*loader but this time I have to directly extract/export the data from MS Sql server and load into Oracle table, mostly it will reload so i might doing any massaging data during the load.
If you show me the detail approach, it will be really appreciated.
I have access to Sql server but i don't how to use sql server to do this or using oracle as a daily job even becuase have to schedule the job for this as it will be a daily job.

poratipsUnless you can find an open source ODBC driver for SQL Server that runs on Solaris (and I wouldn't be overly hopeful there) Heterogeneous Services would require that you license something-- a third party ODBC driver, a new Oracle instance, or an Oracle Transparent Gateway.
As I stated below, you could certainly use SQL Server's ETL tool, DTS. Oracle's ETL tools would require additional licensing since you're just on 9.2. You could also write a small application (Java or otherwise) that connected to both databases and transferred the data. If you're particularly enterprising, you could load the SQL Server Type 4 JDBC driver into Oracle's JVM and write a Java stored procedure that connected to the SQL Server database via JDBC, but that's a pretty convoluted approach.

ThanksTomcat is just a servlet engine. Oracle Application Server already includes a servlet engine. Apache is a default component too.

just installed PS 13 elements and loaded pictures into organizer. after using PS editor now organizer is not reloading. I keep getting error message saying organizer unexpectedly quit, do you want to reopen. When I click on it to reopen it doesn't and I get the same message again. I rebooted computer, still did it, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I am still getting the same error message. This is on Mac OS with yosemite. Any Ideas Please!!!

ARFC: Single Server and Load Balancing
Hi All,
I am trying to create aRFC model. In SAP logon screen, I can see two tab pages - Single Server and Load Balancing.
Can you please let me know when we have to use which tab?

TGSingle Server Connect or Load Balancing connect is completely independend from the location where SAP Gui Client is installed.
Single Server connect means that your are directly connecting to an ABAP Server using hostname and systemnumber you have to provide.
Load Balancing Connect means that you specify the message server of the central instance of an ABAP Server group. The SAPGUI first connects to the message server which will provide the SAPGUI with the information about the best performing ABAP server. SAPGUI will then connect to this ABAP server.
Single Server is suitable for small landscapes with lets say less than 4 application servers. In huger configurations (and those which I know will grow to more than 3 servers)I would prefer to use logon groups - aka Load Balancing.

ThanksThe MDM services (MDM Server, Import Server and Syndication Server) can be started using the usual operating system methods (on Windows by setting the relevant service to "automatic" startup type, on UNIX by startup / runlevel scripts etc.)
The repositories can be loaded using CLIX commands in a batch file / shell script that is executed on startup.
CLIX can also be used to start the MDM Server service.

How do I find out the exact path of each and every file that LabVIEW finds and loads into memory for a given top level vi? There is probably a trivial, easy way to get this info, but I have not yet found it! Thanks..
Or if you want to grab all the paths programatically, try the attached VI.
Open the top level that you want all the paths from and close all others, then open the
attached and run it. It will return an array of all the VIs that the VI
in question uses, including vi.lib VIs. You can filter these as well if
you like.

At UC platform i can see some applications are installed on Windows server and some directly to VMWare. Pls explain?
Pretty much all newer versions of UC applications have started supporting virtualization so they can be installed on the VMware.
Have a look at dockwiki for virtualization supported apps:

Some applications like CUCM version 4 were windows based previously but going ahead with version 5, 6 onwards the OS has been changed to Linux Operating system.

We found that there are two duplicate records for emp no: 1111. I want to delete all duplicate records (in this case two records for emp no:1111) and load into the temp table.

When installing CS3 Design Premium it instals Version Cue server and shared components, but I get the message "Errors: 6 component (s)" and dose not install, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Indesign or Creative Suite Premium
Thank you Bturko in the future only migrate/copy/transfer your documents and settings. Adobe applications especially are not designed to be transferred from one computer to another. It is possible to recover however. I would recommend the following steps:
Run the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
Run the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure complete removal - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files they can be downloaded at Download CS3 products.
Run the installer and reinstall Creative Suite 3. -

I need to go in the reverse direction and extract the data from the Query and load into the PSA and then to a DSO.
I am using RSCRM_BAPI for this purpose and have got data into the extract table successfully.
But , my query has some variable screen wherein we need to give some inputs for selection.
I have create those Infoobjects and put them in the DSO.
How do I capture these inputs of the selection screen for storing in fields of my DSO as the Extract table does not store these inputs ???write the whole insert query desired by you with the help of excel formulas.they are very easy or google 'how to use excel formulas".
then copy the fromula to whole set of data in excel fields.
run the insert query in excel as batch.
