Installed TB on my new PC but it's soooo slow and stops all the time.
I just bought a new computer and installed TB on it. For some reason, it very, very slow - if it responds at all. What's ahappened and (more important) how do I fix it?

New MacBook Pro 13" Fans spinning loud and fast all the time?
I was curious if anyone else that just ordered the brand new 13" MacBook Pro which I got one and a half days ago has their internal fans spinning constantly? MIne are going really fast now for over an hour and all I have open is Safari, iChat and Skype. I'm curious if this is similar to the update Apple released for my early 2008 model 15" MacBook Pro a couple weeks ago for the fans due to them spinning at a high speed. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
I just did some more searching on Google and found this article to be helpful and the fans seem to have slowed down to normal operation and the Finder is only using 7% CPU now.

I only relaunched Finder and it seems to be running the fans a lot slower not sure if I will have to follow the rest of those steps if relaunching Finder doesn't fix it permanently. Let me know what everyone else thinks. -
i have install new hard drive 500gb and i still have 400gb available but my macbook run very slow getting rainbow all the time on screen.
need helpFirst boot into recovery and select Disk Utility>First Aid and repair the disk.
If there is no improvement, perform a Safe Boot:

If there is an improvement, then third party applications are probably the cause of the problem.

Every time i connect my iphone to itunes and trying to do a backup or get the new update it says i have to restore my iphone. and then that doesnt work, i tried to reinstall itunes but it doesnt work. i get this all the time. fix it please.
iTunes states " There's a problem with your Iphone, please contact apple service center " Also i took my iphone to a local service man and he told me the IMEI code has been corrupted and there's nothing that can be done about it. Please help, if you have any solution.

New MBP seems to run hot & fan runs almost all the time
I've had my MBP for just about a week now. It's the new, 15", 2.2 GHz model. It's great, but I notice that it runs hotter than my Powerbook G4 did and the fan is almost always on. It's presently sitting on a wooden topped table. My house is not AC-ed, but the air temp is about 70 F/21 C today. Seems to run hot in my AC-ed faculty office too, when I am there. What is "normal" for this machine. TIA.

Ditto what Ned says. To be sure, 80 C is not too hot (it is the temp that the MBP is designed to maintain as a working maximum), but that you are experiencing this temp at all times indicates that something is pushing the processor at all times.
That is not normal. As has been suggested, have a look at Activity Monitor. If you are not doing anything of any consequence at the time, your CPU usage should be very, very low, and processes that you see using CPU intermittently (there will be many of these processes) should only use a small percentage when they use any at all.

my iTouch will not power on at all- Its just completley blank as if it is dead but it is not-- I tried restoring it Plugging into my computer- Hard reset nothing works-- My mom has the exact same problem!!
plug ipod in to computer leave for 30mins
now follow these steps and it should work
1.with ipod still pluged in to computer press and hold both the power and home button for a full 30secs
2. if apple logo shows 1st let go of the power button wait 5sec's and let go of the home
3.unplug from computer. if ipod on turn fully off press power button for 5sec and slide to turn off
4.wait 30sec's turn back on and plug back to computer
if that does not help and u have an apple store near you go there, they should help u better -
I deactivated Pro on my old machine, downloaded from the store on my new machine and tried to open it. A window popped up that said I had a valid product key, but that it didn't match the software on my machine. The drop down box did not list my product. Don't know what to do next.

Sounds like it's hardware issue. The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. Since it was bought in Korea you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Korea to be taken in and then they will have to ship it back to you. The cost of shipping will be at your expense.

You can restore just the files and directories you want by doing a manual type restore.

Everything ok when first set up, loaded cds etc but now I want to delete some and add other music I can't get it to show in I Tunes - gone trough evryting Help suggested & turned offAVG anti virus etc.
On reboot with the shuffle still attached, ITunes launched, Shuffle not in ITunes, but appears in My Computer. No launch of RealPlayer.
Plugged in a different partnered IPod, IPod quickly appeared in ITunes devices and My Computer. -
I just updating to the new operating system. My Ipad is having problems updating to the new operatinng system IO6 I think. Anyways I keep getting this 3014 error. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
