Is there a way to download and install the latest ver 3.5 beta 4 ?
I have it on my other PC running Fedora 11.
branding isn't a huge issue...

How to install Adblock Plus in Gran Paradiso 3.0.4 [SOLVED]
Hi,
I'm trying to install Adblock Plus in the version of Firefox I use which (for some licensing issue) identifies itself as Gran Paradiso 3.0.4. The Adblock plus version is 0.7.5.5. I've looked at the install.rdf for the xpi and it seems that Adblock Plus will install int Firefox 3.0.* so it seems to be an issue with the name - Gran Paradiso. Any ideas anyone??

Last edited by MillTek (2008-12-01 21:14:30)OK, problem solved. There was a '.lock' file in the .mozilla directory that semed to be preventing the browser from restarting properly. Once that was deleted everything worked fine. Also, I just updated to Adblock Plus version 1.0

Firefox 3.6.13 will not uninstall after I installed Firefox 4.9 beta
I have Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3. I installed Firefox 4.9 beta and have 2 Firefox browsers (also Firefox 3.6.13). Now I want to uninstall 3.6.13. When I click on uninstall Firefox 3.6.13 from Add/Delete Programs nothing happening - no response. Please help me to resolve this issue.
You can keep the Firefox 3.6.x version as you may need it to visit websites that do not work properly in the Firefox 4 beta version. Remember that you are using unfinished beta software with know bugs that may not work properly all the time.

I have firefox 4.0 beta 11. I want to install latest version of firefox 4.0. But when i install 4.0 nothing changes. How can i solve this problem? I tried to install 3.6 then install 4.0, but the same thing happened again.
According to your user agent string you are using Firefox 4 and not beta 11

Thank you.I find the beta version to be very stable. If you are not sure about using beta software it would be better to wait for the official release of Firefox 4. Though no date has been set it should not be too long, possibly next month.

Several months ago I installed the Firefox Home app on my iPhone to sync the bookmarks that I had on my Windows XP home computer. It has worked just fine until a few days ago. Just recently I was notified that the app would no longer work because of changes that have been made. I have tried to follow the instructions that were emailed to me regarding how to setup the new Firefox Sync add-on, but I am having a problem. After downloading Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta to my desktop and restarting my computer, I do not receive any prompts to create an account with a password and a secret phrase, as the instructions specify. How do I set up the account if the prompt never shows up?
Click on the Firefox button then select Options to open the Options dialog. Now go to the Sync panel for the option to setup a new account.

How to enable installed themes compatible with FF 4 Beta 12
I previously installed various themes indicated as compatible with Firefox 4.0 Beta 12. But all of them are shown now as being (disabled) in the Add-on Manager.
How are these themes enabled? Thanks for your help.

I have installed the Firefox 4.0 Beta 11 (+updates), I try to connect to our https: website and I receive the following error:
Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection.
Renegotiation is not allowed on this SSL socket.

I have installed this certificate on Firefox 3.6.13 and I am able to connect to our HTTPS site but it will not work with the Beta 4.0 11I read about this for ages. I had problems setting up a certificate for my online banking. This one solution genuinely worked for me (finally!) ...Fingers crossed it will for you too:
1) In the address bar type in '''about:config''' ...Firefox will say it's dangerous, but I just went ahead anyway lol - It's fine. Thank god there's always an edit-undo!

Why FireFox 4.0 Beta 12 is not printing properly like beta 11 or MS explorer
After installing FireFox 4.0 Beta 12, any web page that I try to print : the text and style are all different size and no respect of border and justification. But the graphic are intact/Ok.
Take note that the printing was perfect in version beta 11 and printing the same page work perfectly with Ms explorer. Plus I have 3 printers and none print correctly with this new version. I even try to remove all my add on and no changeIt is not a good idea for most people to install a pre-release nightly builds available from that link. They will get updates for them every day, and though the current ones are stable it is not unusual for the nightly builds to be unstable, and sometimes unusable.

I downloaded Firefox 4.0 beta but can't open when clicked on icon or programs list
I downloaded firefox 4.0 beta on my Dell computer ( Vista ) on 2-23-11. I have internet explorer but cannot get into my blackboard learning system at Salt Lake Community college with that. After saving the file which is likely called "Firefox Setup 4.0.1.exe" you need to run it to install Firefox 4.
If you do not clear the downloads from the download manager, you can run the installer from the downloads manager. Open the download manager, then right-click on the Firefox setup file and select Open. As soon as you start running the setup file, close Firefox. You need to do this so that the setup file can replace the files in the Firefox installation directory. -
Newly installed 4.0 Beta8,Babylon task bar installed and locked Firefox
A program "my Babylon homepage" suddenly showed up on my Firefox 4.0 Beta 8 preventing response to all keystrokes. I un-installed all Babylon labeled programs using both uninstall in "control-Panel" and "Vero uninstaller". Then un-installed Firefox and re-installed Firefox 4.0 Beta 8. The problem continues. I have been forced to use my Gooogle Chrome browser. I have also searched for "myBabylon" without success. What can I do to get rid of Babylon?
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

[SOLVED]Hotmail with Gran Paradiso
I am still having one hotmail account. My issue is when ever I am sending a mail from the hotmail account using Gran Paradiso browser the body is empty.I tried this humpty number of times. But with Firefox in another PC it is ok. Is any one got similar issue and solution? (I will stick with default arch Gran Paradiso).
