Insufficient Priviliege on updating wwv_flow_file_objects$

Hello,
I created a file upload form. After the file being uploaded, I need to change the file name in wwv_flow_file_objects$. But it shows insufficient prvilliege. Is there anyway I can do it?
UPDATE wwv_flow_files SET FILENAME = filename WHERE NAME = filename_in_page;
Thanks

JC,
The standard operating procedure is to copy the file into a table where you have more control. This will require more work on your part to get set up however...

    Hi,
I am receiving this message every time the updater starts:
"Insufficient Rights - Adobe Updater can be run only by users with administrator rights". never happened before. nothing changed on my machine except that today I installed Windows XP on BootCamp. but what does that has to do with the CS3 updater?
    I am using OS X leopard 10.5.2

    any help will be appreciated.

Here is the solution I found.
"Renaming %program files%/Common Files/Adobe/updater5 to something else removed the error."
This seems like a brute force approach, but it does work. I checked the event logs after doing this and don't see any errors in the App or System logs. This folder is the location of AdobeUpdater.exe and all of the Adobe .cer files, so it makes sense that this works, but seems like it should generate other errors...
This is not how I wanted to solve the problem but it did solve it.

  • Insufficient Memory to Update Apps?  No.

While attempting to Update a few Apps last night, I kept getting a message saying "Insufficient Memory to Update Apps," and something like "adjust memory usage settings."
But when I went to Settings> Memory, it was clear that I was using less than 1 MB of memory for all my Apps, with a total of 5MB available on both the iPad itself and also in iCloud.
       So what gives?  Thoughts?

Your phone's internal storage it too low.
Goto: settings.app -> General -> Usage; in order to see available storage capacity.
From this screen, you can see how much storage space each application is using, and can remove them, from here, or from your home screen.
You can also try updating one at a time from the App Store.
Also note, a 500MB app, will require upto 1,000-1,500MB available space to update.  The current app remains, then a compressed archive is downloaded, and then it must be extracted.  So there must be space on the device for the original app, the compressed archive, and the uncompressed archive all at once for the update process to be successful.  Once the update is successful, the extra data is deleted.

  • Insufficient Rights to Update Software

Trying to update Firefox this morning, but the installer says I don't have sufficient rights to update some of the items. I have tried using two different admin accounts on this powerbook, but still get the same message. What else is there?

Here's a way you could get around this since you're already using 3.6.
First, move the Application from the Applications Folder to the Trash, as well as the entire FF Folder in your ~/Application Support/Library (the library in your home folder) to the Trash. Don't empty it. Then, using another browser, perhaps Safari, since FF will now be disabled, download and install the 3.6.6.
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
This will be a brand new Firefox which will create a new FF App and Folder where the old ones were located. Next, move -- don't replace it, since that will remove it completely, and you may want it back if this doesn't work out --that new FF Folder to the Trash and move the old one back to Application Support. All your Preferences and Bookmarks should be there and work well with the new 3.6.6 App. If this doesn't work, it may be something corrupt in your Profiles Folder and you may need to use the new one. See below.
Make sure all is well and then trash the old App and the new FF Folder.
Of course, this doesn't answer the question why you can't proceed with the original upgrade. Could be an incompatible Add-on or theme.
See *Clean reinstall* from Mozilla (near the bottom) for another way of accomplishing this. Also you may have a corrupt Profile (located inside the FF Folder in App Support.) You can test this by creating a new Profile to see if that eliminates the issue. If it's being caused by an incompatible Add-on or Theme, those won't be in the new Profile. You can add them back one by one to see if that's what's causing this problem. (Or you can disable them first, try the upgrade, and see if it goes through. If it does, then add them back one by one to find the incompatible one. If it's not being caused by an incompatible Add-on, it'll be very tricky to find just what in the Profiles is giving you grief and you may have to keep the new Profile. +_One thing you can do is check the files in your Profiles Folder to see if any are "read-only."+_ Old Bookmarks will be the file places.sqlite and you can move those to the new Profile Folder.) This page also gives basic troubleshooting steps.

  • Update query to fixed value while joining to multiple tables

We have a lot of phone country codes that are blank or incorrect. For example, Egypt's phone country code is 20. I want to update the phone country code to 20 but only if the country in the locations table = 'EG' and there is in fact a location record (it's possible a party has a phone number but not a physical address in which case there is insufficient information to update the phone country code to 20. Here's what I have thus far which does not work.
    update ar.hz_contact_points hzcp

    Hi,
iPhone 5, insufficient space to update. Therefore need to use iTunes on the Macbook Air (Mavericks), download starts off fine, then the estimated time creeps up, and either an error message 9006 or network connection times out.
Have tried another location, have tried pausing and resuming the download.
Have tried download and update, have tried download only.
No security settings enabled on the MacBook Air.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Minimum privileges for creating table

I wanted to know of the minimum set of privileges for creating a table in Oracle 11g database. First I created a schema and granted the create table privilege to the schema. When I tried to create a table in the schema, it was giving a message of like privileges required on the tablespace. Granting the resource privilege grants the unlimited quota on all the tablespaces including SYSTEM and SYSAUX tablespace which may not be an ideal scenario. So, my query is that what are the minimum set of privileges for creating a table in Oracle 11g database.
I hope, my question is clear.
Please revert with the reply to my query.

  • 6300 - Changing Time Zone (GMT+1) Changes All Cale...

I have a 6300 and a calendar full of important meetings and so on.
Last weekend we went on to GMT+1 hour (British Summer Time).
Changing the time settings in the phone to "GMT+1" changes all the calendar times to +1 hour as well.
Why does the phone do this (is this dumb or what !) ?
How can I get the phone NOT to change the calendar times whilst changing the time of day ?
    Good wishes to all.
    Simon
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Google calendar has resolved this problem for me by allowing Time Zone entries for Calendar items.
    1. I now enter calendar entries with the local time in my Google Travel calendar.
    2. I then duplicate the entry in my Google personal calendar and edit this entry to identify the destination Time Zone.
    3. I then allow Google calendar to update my Outlook calendar. Entries there will show up with the destination time.
e,g. a flight departure from Madrid is scheduled for 6pm. It will show in my Google personal calendar and in my Outlook calendar as 2am the next day. It will still show in the Travel calendar as 6pm.
    4. I let Ovi Suite synchronize my Nokia phone calendar with Outlook which inserts all entries with times for the appropriate time zone e.g. 2am in Madrid.
    5. Now I no longer need to disable automatic Time Zone adjustment in my phone AND lie to the phone that I have NOT changed time zones whenever I change my phone clock for a new country (or Time Zone). In the Madrid example, my calendar entries while in Canada will show a 2am departure and when in Madrid will show a 6pm departure (local time).
    Some benefits are:
    1. Calendar times will show the local time for all entries.
    2. No more calls home at 2am because I forgot the Time Zone differential.
    3. No more missed appointments because I made an incorrect time adjustment.
    3. Automatic Time Zone correction means my phone is always synchronized with local time. This is significant since I have observed that the phone's internal clock tends to drift. Automatic synchronization automaticallt corrects this.
    Points to Consider:
    1. Google is my primary calendar because I can control it's directionality.
    2. Entries in my Google Travel calendar allow me to see the unadjusted times of Calendar entries, e.g. my Madrid flight is at 6pm. Since Google allows you to see multiple calendars simultaneously, I can see events with both destination and home times.
    3. Google will only update one calendar to Outlook (my personal calendar) which is why the Time Zone adjusted times are updated in my Google personal calendar and then to Outlook.
    4. Ovi Suite has insufficient controls on updates and sometimes will reinstall Outllok entries which have been deleted or changed. Because Outlook cannot update the Google calendars it or the Nokia calendar cannot corrupt my master calendar on Google.
    5. This may not resolve all the convoluted Time Zone boundaries experience in the USA but should help.
    6. Have had no problem with DST but also am not dealing with the convoluted Time Zone boundaries experience in the USA.
    7. Before and currently I stll place a copy of the input data in the Description section of my Google calendar entries. These will show up in the Nokia Description unadjusted and immune from change due to outside causes.

  • Read only tables

I am trying to write protect a Table so that it can only be viewed by others but not write (modified) the data in the table.
How can I create and modify a table in order for it to be only viewable.
    Thanks

Should be no problem, as long as your GIS application does not log in to the database as the owner of the table with the SDO_GEOMETRY.
The following example (laboriously) demonstrates this from creating two users through proving the second can only get the data owned by the first in read/only mode.
I've given the second the priv of creating a private synonym to avoid constantly having to reference the owner's name.
It's all done in sqlplus, however, the italicized comments are not in the sqlplus source.

  • How to make guests to act as owners in the room

    Hi,
I was wondering how to make guests of the app. in the room to
act as owners on files and
    CollectionNodes.
Currently when I try to upload file being a guest I get
    "FileManager.clearFileDescriptor: You have insufficient
    privileges for update." exception.
and when I try to delete a file I get
    "FileManager.clearFileDescriptor: You have insufficient
    privileges for update." exception
when I try to change "Access Model" and "Publish model" in
"Change File Configuration" window it does not work.
Changing the rights to every CollectionNode in the room to 10
    is not an option.
"Auto-promote" users does not make any changes.
    Please help
    thanks

    Hi,
Autopromote should work. Please use the dev console to
autopromote users in room and see the debug console logs when a
user enters. It's role should be 50. You can also use the
    devconsole to change node configurations.
    You can upload/download a file if you are a publisher ( i.e.
role = 50 or above) which you will have if autopromote is set to
    true.
You don't need to ideally make an user a owner for
upload/download of files. But in case you want to make an user as
owner, you can do so either in devconsole or in code by calling the
setUserRole method in UserManager with something like
    usermanager.setUserRole(userID,UserRoles.OWNER) where userID is the
ID of the user you want to promote. You should be an owner to call
    this method.
