Integrating JBoss and Apache

Do I need to use that mod_jk2 to integrate these two? Or is there some other way to do that, I mean without thta mod_jk2?
Tia J

Here's a page on the JBoss site about this. they recommend mod_jk2.
If you're using Solaris 9, note that the Solaris 8 mod_jk2 works on Solaris 9.

  • Integrating jboss and apache httpd webserver

    Hi folks,
    I am a new comer in J2EE realm. Prior to this, I have been using Tomcat and Apache httpd and serves me very nicely.
    However, I am now required to evaluate the possibilities of using JBoss. Since we are in need of Apache httpd webserver (we are still serving some old cgi-based), how can we integrate JBOSS and Apache? This is to say that when the request is for J2EE, how can we let Apache forwards this request to JBoss for processing? is this possible though?
    I really appreciate you helping me.
    Thanks in bundle before hand.

  • Integrating Tomcat and Apache - typo in the instructions??

    I'm a total newbie at this, but one line in the "Flashguide" instructions I found on Galatea http://galatea.com/flashguides/home looked wierd to me:
    In the instructions for integrating Tomcat 4.0.x to Apache 2.0.x using mod_jk, it states that the mod_jk.so file should go in the APACHE_HOME/libexsec folder.
    Then, further on down in section 5 it says that, for Apache 2.0, one should add the line:
    "LoadModule jk_module modules/mod_jk.so" to the httpd.conf file.
    Shouldn't that be "LoadModule jk_module libexec/mod_jk.so"?? Thats what is says to do for Apache 3.x,
    The Galatea instructions otherwise seem pretty succinct and easy to follow.

    Tomcat 4.0.6 happens to be on the server - and I can't change it (yet). Right now it isn't working in either folder, I am trying to remove this issue as an unknown before looking at other things. Do the math - it'll save about half my time when I try to correct other things.

  • Issue while integrating  OID and BPEL.

    Issue while integrating OID and BPEL.
    We followed steps mentioned in for integration. WE have two SoA instances, home, oc4j_soa.
    http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28982/service_config.htm#BABIBGFF
    Before running configure_oid.bat script, we changed jazn.xml to include the contents that are available in home\jazn.xml.
    The contents we replaced contain
    <jazn xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/oracleas/schema/jazn-10_0.xsd" schema-major-version="10" schema-minor-version="0" provider="LDAP" location="ldap://myhost:389" default-realm="my-realm" >

         <property name="ldap.protocol" value="no-ssl" />
         <property name="idm.authentication.name" value="JavaSSO" />
    </jazn>
    configure_oid.bat ran successfully.
    But when we try restarting SoA, it gives error. If we replace the above to point to XML-based jazn then SoA starts succcessfully.
    Please let us know if we are missing anything.

    *3.) opmnctl status -all ?*
    C:\product\10.1.3.1\OracleAS_1\opmn\bin>opmnctl status -all
    Usage:
    opmnctl [<scope>] status [<options>] [host port]
    Notes:
    - if host,port is specified, contact opmn on host,port;
    otherwise, contact opmn in local ias instance.
    scope:
    @instance(:name)*|@cluster
    scope specifies how far to apply the query. To apply the query to
    all known iAS Instances, specify "cluster". To apply the query
    to a specific set of 1 or more iAS Instances, specify
    "instance(:instname(:instname...))". If no names are supplied
    in an instance scope string then the request is applied to the
    "local" instance. In this context, "local" means the instance
    containing the opmn server handling the request.
    Default: local iAS Instance.
    Options:
    [ias-component|oc4j-group]=id
    - filter output by ias-component name
    - i.e. filter output by oc4j-group name
    -l - pre-selected long output format:
    %cmp32%prt18%pid7R%sta8%uid10R%mem8R%utm9R%por
    -fmt <fmtlist> - output format (see details below)
    Option "-fmt <fmtlist>" and "-l" are mutually exclusive
    -fsep <string> - field separator (default:" | ")
    -rsep <string> - record separator (default:"\n")
    -noheaders - don't print a header
    -c <count> - number of times to print status (default:1)
    -i <nsecs> - seconds between each print (default:5)
    -app [-l] - application status (optional long format)
    -port - opmn "request" host and port (scope
    argument invalid)
    Format String Syntax:
    <fmtlist> - A single string containing one or more statistic
    identifiers concatenated together where each identifier has
    the following format: %<statname>[<width>[<justification>]]
    default: %cmp32%prt18%pid7R%sta8
    <statname> - Must be one of the following:
    ins - iAS Instance Name
    cmp - iAS Component Id
    prt - Process Type Id
    prs - Process Set Id
    idx - Index of process in Process Set
    pid - OS Process Identifier
    uid - Opmn Unique Id
    typ - Name for this kind of process
    sta - Process status
    stm - start time (ms)
    utm - up time (ms)
    cpu - cpu time (ms)
    mem - memory used (Kb)
    pme - private memory (Kb)
    sme - shared memory (Kb)
    hpz - heap size (Kb)
    por - Port List
    <width> - The number of columns to use for this field. Output
    less than this value will receive padding according to the
    specified justification. Output more than this value will
    be truncated and terminated with '~'.
    default: the width of each datum
    <justification> - How to justify output when less than the width.
    Must be L, R, or C (left, right, or center justification).
    default: L

  • Using SJS MQ 4.0 as JMS provider with JBoss or Apache Geronimo

    Is it possible to integrate SMS MQ 4.0 as the JMS provider for JBoss and / or Apache Geronimo ?
    For JBoss, the only info that I can find is this:
    http://swforum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=45414&messageID=127657
    ... but not too much detail on how to actual configured JBoss.
    Any step-by-step info ?

    Hmm... I installed the client (5.3) and did not get the jmsadmin tool. To me it seems like jmsadmin only comes with the server installation. What is the content of the .bindings file? Is it enough to copy the one from the MQ server or is this something I must create on the server running the Oracle application server? I would guess .bindings is the JNDI bindigs for the queues / factories etc. and will have to match the way queues are configured on the server.
    So far I've found two "useful" resources:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10464_01/web.904/b10326/jms.htm#1020231
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4j/1003/how_to/jcajmsmq/doc/Install.html
    The last resource states that MQ server has to be installed on the same server as Oracle Appserver.

  • Integrate jsf, jboss and jasper reports

    Hi there!
    I've a problem with integration jboss with jasper reports and jsf. Which jasper classes do I have to place on a server and what jboss files do I need to configure? How can I run jasper report from the jsf page? Any information on this subject will be very usefull.
    Thanx for help in advance.
    Adam

    Unless I have totally misunderstood your question, I think you have posted this question in the wrong forum. This forum is dedicated to developer questions about JSR 208 (Java Business Integration), a specification from the JCP that describes a service-oriented integration architecture. In this realm, integration means getting separate applications and messaging systems to interoperate, when they were never designed to do so. Your question sounds like you want to install particular technologies into jboss; this is a very different use of the term "integration".

  • Jboss and org/w3c/dom/ranges/DocumentRange error

    Hi folks,
    Is any JBoss expert able to help me?
    I'm working on MacOSX Panther that comes with JBoss readily installed, so I'm presuming that it should start without any problems. However, when I I run the run.sh script I get an error that it doesn't find the class:
    org/w3c/dom/ranges/DocumentRange
    Yet, I can see this class in my java browser - so I'm almost 100% certain it exists on my machine. What might the problem be? The other strange thing is that my colleague, working on a nearly identical machine can start up jboss without any problems by invoking exactly the same script. This is the first time I've used jboss and I haven't tampered with any of the setup files there. I've searched the documentation thoroughly but can't find any reference to this error. Has anyone else encountered it?
    I wonder if it might not be a classpath problem - but that strikes me as odd - shouldn't it just work straight out of the box if it came readily installed?
    The only possible explanation is that a while back I was working with castor and jdom and installed jdom.jar and castor-0.9.5.2-xml.jar in my Library/java/Extensions folder. Could it be that these jars cause some sort of conflict?
    Just for the record, I'll post below the full printout that I get when I try to start up jboss.
    Many thanks,

    To answer my own question...
    It seemed as if xmlParserAPIs.jar was missing from my machine (no idea why). I downloaded xerxes, copied the jar into my Extensions folder, ran the script and, lo-and-behold, jboss now works!

  • Upgrade the default Tomcat and Apache

    Hi
    Is there a working and correct way to upgrade and run a Tomcat and Apache server of your pick instead of the pre installed versions in OSX 10.4.8 server.
    Meaning that i want to start and admin them throught Server Admin interface, and making Jboss notice the new Tomcat aswell.
    Mikael

    If you're asking here, the answer is probably no.
    It is possible to build and install later versions of all the Mac OS X Server-bundled apps, including Apache, Tomcat, postfix, bind, etc., etc., but in most cases once you do you lose the ability to drive them via Server Admin.
    Server Admin knows what it knows - more importantly it doesn't know any of the features of later versions of the apps (it may work with point released (e.g. Apache 1.3.20 -> 1.3.30, but it won't work with major versions like 1.3 -> 2.0).
    So if you go that way you're on your own as far as configuring and maintaining the service is concerned.
    Leopard (10.5) will include later versions of these apps if you're prepared to wait.

  • JBOSS or Apache Tomcat

    which server is better? jboss or apache tomcat? can anyone pls give their advantages and disadvantages. Thanks

    Just do the usual as for every other comparisons:
    1) List all specs/features of each (you can find them at their homepages).
    2) Put the lists next to each other and just outweight the one or other.
    It might be good to know that JBoss AS under the hood actually uses Apache Tomcat as servlet container and adds some more sausage over it. Just determine if you actually need/like the sausage of JBoss on Apache Tomcat.

  • HOWTO: Create a Boot Configuration That Has No Driver Signature Checks. Disable Driver Integrity Checks and Install a Custom Non-Signed Driver

    Hello,
    Recently, I had a task where I needed to install a custom non-signed driver onto my Windows 8 64-bit setup. As it is known, Windows has driver enforcement policies that, as a security measure, do not allow you to install non-signed drivers.
    I did not want to alter my current boot configuration so I decided to create a separate boot entry that would have driver signing policies disabled. For some reason I did not find any good source that would contain a step-by-step instruction on completing
    this task, so I decided that I'd better share my experience here.
    Lastly, there are multiple ways how you could turn off driver enforcement policies, but I find the way to do this via boot manager.
    Here's how you can do that.
    1. Press WindowsKey and type 'cmd' (without quotes) to find Command prompt, then click Command prompt icon. If you have User Account Control turned on, hold Ctrl+Shift keys pressed when clicking the icon.
    This will force Windows to ask you for elevation of command prompt. Elevation is necessary for editing Boot Configuration Database (BCD), the database used by Windows boot manager to store boot settings.
    2. In the User Account Control window click Yes to confirm elevation of command shell.
    3. At the command prompt type
    bcdedit
    to list your BCD entries.
    This will give you an output like:
    Windows Boot Manager
    identifier {bootmgr}
    device partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume2
    path \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
    description Windows Boot Manager

    The section that starts with Windows Boot Manager lists current settings for the boot menu. Here you find what boot entry is chosen by default, this is the one what you will boot into if you do not select any boot entry in the
    boot menu.
    The following record
    default {current}
    indicates that by default my Windows boots into configuration which I use at the moment (currently booted Windows configuration).
    To find out what exactly is current configuration, look into the list of boot entries, records that contain boot loader configuration and are titled as Windows Boot Loader in the bcdedit output.
    For example, the entry shown above is one of my boot configurations. This is one of the boot entries listed on the boot manager screen when I start my PC and it looks like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8prowmc01.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description Windows 8
    locale en-US
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5d1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    recoveryenabled Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8prowmc01.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5cf-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    This record has a unique GUID identifier that can be used to reference this boot entry, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    If we look at the Windows Boot Manager settings, we'll see this entry is the first in order to be displayed in the boot menu on OS start (I marked the unique bits):
    displayorder {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    {a329b5cc-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    It references my VHD drive, a virtual hard drive where my Windwos 8 setup is residing:
    device vhd=[D:]\win8prowmc01.vhdx
    And it also specifies that the boot manager must use UEFI BIOS extension code to access my Windows boot partition:
    path \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
    3. Now locate the current boot entry.
    Current boot entry contains boot settings used to boot into Windows configuration to which you are currently booted. It is referenced in the list of boot entries as a Windows Boot Loader record that has the {current} keyword inside and may
    look like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM
    locale en-US
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5c3-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    integrityservices Enable
    recoveryenabled Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5c1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    Because we are more than happy with current configuration and want to base our new boot configuration on these settings, we need to copy this boot entry ({current}) to a new boot entry.
    This is done by running the following command:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /copy {current} /d "No Driver Signature Check"
    Parameter /d here indicates that the following sequence of characters specifies the display name for the new boot entry that we are creating. The name inside the double quotes will be displayed in the boot menu when you boot your Windows.
    In other words, if you know restart your system, you'll see the new No Driver Signature Check in the boot menu.
    When copied, the entry is automatically given a new GUID identifier, so upon running the command above, you'll see the following line returned (you'll have an other GUID since these are unique identifiers):
    The entry was successfully copied to {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}.
    4. Make sure the entry has been successfully created.
    Run the same bcdedit. (You may specify /enum or /v, or both /enum /v parameters at the prompt to get more detail about boot entries, but simple bcdedit is just enough to see the new entry):
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit

    The entry has been created and given a unique a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240 ID. It now has exactly same boot settings as the boot entry we used to boot into current configuration of Windows.
    5. Modify created  No Driver Signature Check entry and specify that Windows must have driver integrity checks disabled when booted using this boot entry.
    Any modifications to boot entries are made using /set parameter. To indicate that we modify a specific boot entry, we must specify the GUID for the No Driver Signature Check record, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    In other words, to edit (add or change) an option for the boot entry, we need to use the following command syntax:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set GUID <boot_option> [<option_value>]
    First, we must specify that we don't want integrity checks be made. This is done by adding the loadoptions option and setting it to DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS value:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} loadopti
    ons DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    The operation completed successfully.
    6. Verify that load option has been added.
    Run the bcdedit command:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM
    locale en-US
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5c3-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    integrityservices Enable
    recoveryenabled Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5c1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description No Driver Signature Check
    locale en-US
    loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5c3-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    integrityservices Enable
    recoveryenabled Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5c1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    7. Add the option that turns on test signing mode and disables checks of driver signature.
    Adding the testsigning option and setting it to ON does the trick for us:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} TESTSIGNING ON
    8. Now we have a boot entry that enables Windows not to do integrity checks and digital signature validation.
    We check it by running bcdedit:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description No Driver Signature Check
    locale en-US
    loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5c3-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    integrityservices Enable
    recoveryenabled Yes
    testsigning Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5c1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    9. Type 'exit' without quotes to exit from command prompt, and restart Windows.
    Upon booting you will be present with a new boot option to start Windows in configuration that allows you to install custom non-signed drivers.
    Hope this will help anybody to create their own custom boot configurations.
    Well this is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given...

  • Remote desktop and apache

    remote desktop and apache.
    There are times I feel that someone is looking over my shoulder, and changing my settings and controlling me.
    I would like to at least be able to communicate with them so I can ltarn. I also want to be able to monitor and have some say so as to what they are doing to my computer.
    Thank you

    Thanx for your reply.
    I should have stated that this is my personal computer and if any one should be the administrator I would think it would be me.

  • Reporting Service Integration mode and Key not valid for use in specified state

    I had to uninstall SharePoint Foundation 2013 and reinstall it.
    What I have done:
    I uninstalled SharePoint and after that I removed all databases.
    I reinstalled SharePoint Foundation 2013 and it completed without errors.
    Everything else is working, except SSRS in Sharepoint Integrated Mode.
    If I check Central Administration - Manage services on server, I can found out that SQL Server Reporting Service Service is
    "Started". But if I try to create new service application (SQL Server Reporting Services Service Application), it gives me an error message:
    "Key not valid for use in specified state. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8009000B)"
    I uninstalled SSRS in Sharepoint Integrated Mode and I reinstalled it but problems exists.
    It seems that "Encryption Keys" cause this problem.
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/955757
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156010%28v=sql.110%29.aspx
    I tried to Re-create Encryption Keys and Delete keys, but its not working either. It gives me only error message that:
    "Unable to locate the Reporting Server Windows service for instance MSSQLSERVER."
    I don't have any reporting server databases, because I removed all
    databases when I uninstalled SharePoint. Also I don't have Encryption
    Keys backups.
    I have found several similar question but no answer, example here:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/df02dc05-5ce8-499d-9ba3-ab392a5fc3af/sharepoint-2013-ssrs-application-error-key-not-valid-for-use-in-specified-state-exception?forum=sharepointdevelopment
    Any ideas how I can fix this problem?

    Hi,
    From the Reporting Server Configuration Manager you have to restore the encryption key.
    Please try to delete databases(reportserver & reportservertempdb) and delete the reportserver and reports site on IIS. Then you have to start over the configuration again.
    If the issue still exists, Please check ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
    For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log locates in
    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS"
    More information about SQL Reporting services Installation with SharePoint 2013 for your reference:

  • Installing Coldfusion 9 and Apache 2.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

    I'm having issues getting ColdFusion 9 working with Apache 2.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.
    The server is brand new and it's a fresh install of Apache and ColdFusion 9.
    Having installed Apache, I tested the web server and it was working fine, so I proceeded to install ColdFusion 9. I attempted to restart the Apache server through the Apache Service monitor, only to get the error dialog box 'The requested operation has failed'.
    On closer examination of the Windows error log, I saw the following error:
    The Apache service named  reported the following error: >>>
    httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 488 of C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/ColdFusion9/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun22.so into server: The Apache service named is not a valid Win32 application.
    I updated the ColdFusion installation to 9.0.1 in case there was an issue with version 9.0 and Apache. Still no joy.
    After a bit of research, I thought perhaps there was an issue with the mod_jrun22.so file (since when I commented out the reference to that file from the Apache config file, the Apache HTTP server started without any problem). I tried replacing the mod_jrun22.so with the 32 bit version (extracted from the wsconfig.jar file), but that made no difference either.
    I have tried a number of things. I have run wsconfig and uninstalled all web server connectors and then re-created them.
    I have to use Apache and IIS is not an option (I use rewrite rules extensively in an existing live installation and have many sites set up in a vhosts file), so please - no suggestions to use IIS instead.
    The system requirements on http://www.adobe.com/sea/products/coldfusion/systemreqs/ state that Coldfusion 9 will work with Apache 2.2.17 and later on Windows 64 bit, so why am I having issues with a brand-new installation on a 'virgin' server?
    Any help would be much appreciated. I have spent hours trawling the Web for solutions.

    I missed an important detail in my opening post. My Coldfusion 9 version is 64 bit - not 32.
    OK. Simple solution to this. I'll put it here for other peoples' reference.
    To cut a long story short, after phoning Adobe support this morning I was told that you can't run a 64 bit version of ColdFusion with a 32 bit web server. In essence, the web server software and the ColdFusion server software must be the same - either 32 or 64 bit.
    Apache is only officially released as a 32 bit version, but there is a 64 bit unofficial version available from http://www.blackdot.be/?inc=apache/binaries, so I downloaded that and installed it, based on the instructions at http://www.elxis.org/guides/developers-guides/64bit-apache-php-mysql-windows.html.
    Once I'd installed the 64bit version of Apache, the installation of Coldfusion 9 64 bit went smoothly and all appears to be working just fine now (well, I can get to the ColdFusion Administrator page and I have successfully updated the server software to ColdFusion 9.0.1).
    The fact that you can't mix different 'bit' versions of software in this way may be obvious, but it wasn't obvious to me. Having been an early adopter of a 64 bit version of Vista on my own PC, I never experienced these kind of problems before. Software installed itself into the corresponding locations on my PC without any problem and just worked. This is the first time I've run into this problem.
    Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any information regarding this very important requirement on the system requirements pages, so I suggested to the support engineer that he may want to make the recommendation that the page is amended to clarify the situation: e.g.
    IMPORTANT: 64 bit versions of ColdFusion require 64 bit versions of web server software to function. You can not mix 32 bit and 64 bit versions of web servers and ColdFusion server.
    Hope this helps someone else out.

    I'm new to SQL Server Integration Services and I need help on how to begin learning SSIS. Is there any training for it besides msdn?

    Check this thread where people have already given their suggestion on learning SSIS
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/f2cc1cf3-204d-454a-a189-47df87a3aa23/i-want-to-learn-ssis?forum=sqlintegrationservices
    I would suggest to go for You tube videos (type learn SSIS or begin SSIS step by step) you will get lot of good tutorials to start with.
    Happy Learning!!
