  • Help! Integrating high quality images and video.

I'm trying to create a relatively short slideshow with high resolution images (~3MB) and a couple of short video clips.
iMovie 6.0.3 ruins my pictures. They're blurry and pixelated. Is there a new version of iMovie that can help me import high quality pictures?
I don't need to create a DVD per se. I could just hook up my computer to a TV screen or use my laptop screen for presentation purposes.
    What should I do?
    Any help would be appreciated!

avoid using iMovieHD6, which is mainly meant to deliver content to TV = low res, low color profile, low framerate, interlacing..
use any specialized tool as PhotoMagico or Photo2movie..
you can slightly improve slideshow's quality, by setting up a HiDef project (720p/1080i), export as h264 and set the QTplayer app to 'high' ..
aside: the Preview in iM shows a reduced quality of projects .. never judge pic quality of iM on a computer..
and, don't hesitate to make use of the forum's Search feature.. we have approx. 5000 threads concerning pic quality..

  • How to test the SAP modules like SD and MM By using Quality Center and QTP

    Hi Experts,
How to test the SAP modules like SD and MM By using Quality Center and QTP. Can you please provide the documentation regarding this.
    Regards,
    Skumar.

    Hi Sampath,
First install QTP and SAP Addin with in QTP.
2nd use QC to develop the test plan and then convert that test plan design to Test Scripts (QTP vesrion using settings)
3rd record the R/3 GUI screen of SAP for SD, MM like Create order or Create PR.
Once recording is done QTP will create a script in VB
    SAPGuiSession("Session").SAPGuiWindow("SAP Easy Access  -  User").SAPGuiOKCode("OKCode").Set "/nVA01"
    SAPGuiSession("Session").SAPGuiWindow("SAP Easy Access  -  User").SendKey ENTER
you can always add a parameter and other customization according to your requirement.
Let me know if you need more information regarding this.
    Good Luck!

    HI Manoja,
    a) Integration between Sales Order and  Inventory module.
While creating sales order due to Strategy group in MRP3 view of material master does an availability check and determines the first date of availability.
b)Integration between delivery and  Inventory module.
At the time of PGI (Goods issue)
Cost of Goods Sold is debited due to configuration in OBYC GBB T-Key To Inventory Account
c)Integration between Invoice and FI module.
In account assignment(that reminds me of your previous que CONDITION TECHNIQUE is used for Account Determination as well)
    Tcode VKOA
Also when Billing document is released to Accounting
Customer Account is debited for the amount in Invoice.
and credited to Sales Revenue Account
Hope this clarifies to some extent
    Post for further clarification

  • Error in Integration of Defect Module of HP QC with SolMan Ehp 1

    Hi,
We are using QC version 10 patch 12 and connected with SolMan Ehp 1 for testing.
We are facing a problem in integrating the defect module of QC with Service desk of SolMan.
The required settings are done in SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Third Party Integration -> SAP Quality Center by HP -> Integration Defect Management.
SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Third Party Integration -> External Service Desk
We have also implemented the SAP note 1289155.
We are not using the Standard message type SLFN instead we have ZLFN.
See the bellow error message in QC during field maping.
The number of required defect fields in Quality center is different from the number of required support message fields in Application: u201Ceclsh112; WAS; 100u201D. Make sure the number of required fields is equal in both systems before you continue.
Can any one suggest on this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
Try this it should solve the issue.
It seems that there is something wrong with your configuartion for the external service desk.
If possible could you remove the external service desk from in
Transaction ICTCONF and redefine it again?
Once you have done that please do the following steps:
    - Go to the Solution Manager project
    - Open the dialog to connect to a QC project
    - Confirm the dialog.
This will update the assignment with all technical details.
You can check the results in the Site Admin. There navigate to the corresponding QC project and check the content of table BLUEPRINTS. There should be exactly 1 entry with the relevant information for the service desk integration (see attached "BLUEPRINTS(QC).doc").
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Raghavendra.

  • PM Integrations with Other Modules

    Dear Experts,
Can u all pls list out what are all the major INTEGRATION of Plant Maintenance module with other modules?
And how it can be done?
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hi Rajesh,
Let us consider one practical issue of Spare Parts purchase.
We prefer to inspect incoming material for compliance of our requirement.
1.While creation of material master, tick the 'Post to insp. stock' box in the Purchasing Tab.
    2. If we do not want a task list / Result recording oriented inspection, in Quality tab, choose appropriate selections,
3.When that Spare is received, it will go to Quality Stock.
    4. Maint. person can check it and transfer the stock to "Unrestricted Stock" through MB1B via 261 movement, giving a reason as Accepted after Inspection or Rejected.
    5. Above procedure is a practical example of PM QM integration.
    Integration between PM and PP
In the equipment Master, under the location tab, mention the PP work center, and in the task list under the Header give the system condition "0" ie M/C not in operation, before doing this in the custimosation under Maintennace and service order-general data-- "Create System Conditions or Operating Conditions" check the box for PM reservation.so when ever a maintenance order is raised against that equipment, it will block the prod.
The integration aspects of MM-PM are:
    1) for non stock materials requirement, purchase requsition can be created from the plant maintenance order. PR is converted to the Purchase order. when ever goods receipt is done , the cost is directly booked to the plant maintenace order.
    2) for stock materials requirement,,reservation can be created from the plant maintenance order and the material can be issued to the order against the reservation.
    3) Like materials , for services also PRs can be created from the plant maintenace order.
Another integration is BOM - Bill Of Material.
With Equipment BOM, you can create a list of material through which equipment is created or in othre words you can mention the spares that you may require during the maintenance of the equipment.
    FICO-MM-PM Integration
the integration points between PM and MM/FICO during the PM configuration.
    Below are some integration aspects:
    Integration with MM:
1.Material master record for Batch Managed material as Equipment
2.Reservations and Goods Issue for Maintenance Order
3.Material valuation class/types for refurbishment materials as equipment
    4.Triggering PR from Maintenance Order
    Integration with FICO:
1.Asset/Sub-Asset numbering in Equipment Master Data
2.Activity based costing for Operations performed through Maintenance Order
3.Settlement of accrued costs in Maintenance Order to G/L Account,Cost Center, Asset etc.,
If it is reallyuseful to you pls reward me with points

  • FI INTEGRATION WITH OTHER MODULES

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have little details information of:
    FI- MM Integration
    FI- SD  Integration
    FI- CO Integration
FI- CO -  (What is FI-CO Online reconciliation)
    Thanks,
    Sneha

    Hi Sneha,
FI-MM Integration is basically it is a link between your purchase department and Accounts department. What ever purchase requisition that has been made, finalised and order placed with a vendor for goods receipt will be happened in MM, once Goods has been received the same has to be updated in FI, there the integration part between FI and MM will be coming in to picture, once Goods are received the entry posted in MM will automatically generates FI document in FI module. Similarly for Invoice receipt also the same will happen. All the entries will be posted to a account called GR/IR account. At the month end reconciliation will be done so that for what purchase order how many goods received and what is the balance can be found.
FI-SD Integration is all about your Sales and Distribution when ever u sell goods to your customers, then once billing is made in SD, automatically FI entries will be generated.
FI-CO is all about your Management accounting, how much cost has been incurred on a particular project or on a product or  a cost object the same details will be transferred to a particular cost object once u post any document in FI by giving Addition Account Assignment object (nothing but your cost center or orders etc). Once all the data is passed to CO, then on the base of that reports can be made as per management requirement and the same can be analysed for decision making.
    Hope u got some idea.

  • Dynamic Modification Rule In Quality Module

    Dear All
Please explain me in detail how to use Dynamic Modification Rule (At Lot Level) In quality Module.
    Thanks & Regards
    Rahul Bhardwaj

    Hi,
    Dynamic Modification Rule
    Definition
The basic data record contains the definition of the inspection stages, the dynamic modification time (at lot creation or after the usage decision has been made), and the conditions for the inspection stage change. Inspection stage changes occur on the basis of the inspection results that are recorded for inspection lots and inspection characteristics (that is, on the basis of their acceptance or rejection).
    Use
You can vary the inspection scope using dynamic modification rules. You can store a dynamic modification rule in one of the following places:
In the inspection plan at the header level
In the inspection plan at the characteristic level
In the inspection setup of the material master record at the inspection type level
    Structure
A dynamic modification rule contains the definition of the inspection stages, the dynamic modification time, and the conditions that lead to an inspection stage change.
There are always two options that apply to the conditions for an inspection stage change: An acceptance (OK) and rejection (not OK). The system uses these conditions to update the quality level, which always reflects the current status.
The functions for maintaining and displaying dynamic modification rules are primarily contained on three screens:
On the initial screen, you enter the identifier for the dynamic modification rule.
On the header data screen, you maintain a short text and the blocking indicator, and define the time of dynamic modification (at lot creation or when the usage decision is made) and the reset period.
The reset period defines the period of time, which must elapse before the quality level again uses the initial inspection stage specified in the dynamic modification rule as the current inspection stage.
On the inspection stages screen, you edit the inspection stage data (inspection severity, skip, initial inspection stage, and short text). You create the rules for the inspection stage change on this screen.
In QM, the inspection stage describes a test or inspection status that is based on the inspection history and predefined rules. Different inspection stages mean that there are also different inspection scopes and/or inspection severities.
    Creating a Dynamic Modification Rule
1.Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality planning ® Basic data ® Sample ® Dynamic modification rule ® Create.
2.Enter the identifier for the dynamic modification rule on the initial screen or choose Copy to use an existing dynamic modification rule as a copy model.
3.Choose Dynamic modification rule to carry out the following activities on the header data screen:
Edit the short text for the dynamic modification rule.
Define the time of dynamic modification (at lot creation or usage decision).
    Define the reset period.
Set the blocking indicator if you want to prevent the dynamic modification rule from being used in an inspection plan.
4.Choose Next screen to carry out the following activities on the inspection stages screen:
    Define inspection stages.
Define inspection severities for individual inspection stages.
    Identify skips.
    Identify the initial inspection stage.
Maintain short texts for the inspection stages.
5.Choose Stage change to carry out the following activities on the screen for creating the inspection stage change:
Define the specifications for a stage change for an acceptance (OK)
Define the specifications for a stage change for a rejection (Not OK)
6.Choose Next screen to return to the inspection stages screen and save your entries.
When you save the data, the system prompts you for a confirmation. If you want to include the dynamic modification rule in the allowed relationships for sampling procedures and dynamic modification rules (this is only necessary if a sampling procedure is used in a sampling scheme), you can switch directly to the assignment transaction by confirming this prompt. You define the assignment of sampling procedures and dynamic modification rules in this screen.
If you do not confirm the prompt, the system returns directly to the initial screen and confirms that it has created the dynamic modification rule.
    Hope this helps.
    Award points if useful.

    Tejas

  • Integration of ATG module in Enterprise Application project

    Hi,
Could any one please give me steps for integrating a ATG module in a Enterprise Application.

There could be different types of approaches and you would have to weigh them in order to decide which is best suitable in your environment. A quick way could be like creating a standalone ATG EAR assembling your ATG module so that you can refer and use that ATG EAR from your other modules just like any standard EAR. Standalone ATG EAR will pack everything related to ATG in itself and will not refer to ATG installation. Another way can be is to instrument everything required for ATG within an existing module like adding the PageFilter, NucleusServlet etc. (refer to any existing web.xml of an existing ATG application). You would also have to hook atg_bootstrap.war and atg_bootstrap_ejb.jar as well. All of this may require many other tweaks also in order to successfully integrate whole of ATG and to start it when you start rest of the modules. I think better would be to create standalone EAR and use it.

  • Oracle Quality Module - Collection Plan name

The collection Plan name field in Orcale quality module - collection plan form (QLTPLMDF) does not accept special characters. Why is this so and what is the rationale behind this?
Here is the wording from Oracle Quality user Manual
Collection plan names can include alphanumeric characters and spaces. Collection
plan names can have up to 30 characters, and the first 25 characters must be
distinctive. The only special characters that can be included in a collection plan name
are the underscore (_) and the single quotation mark (’). any special
I am working with a customer who wants to use decimals (Example: 35.24.101) so that search will be easier. Some screens does not allow searching by description so need to have these in the collection name/code
Any solution you can think of?
    Thanks

    Hi,
When you create the collection Plan , actually you are creating the name of the table with required column names as collection elements in the data base.
This is the reason you are not allowed to do so as per your query.
    thanks,
    Raja

  • PS integration with other modules

    Hi Experts
Pl tell me  from configuration point of view how ps integrates with MM , SD and FI. What are all the necessary steps we have to do in integration .
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Amit,
PS is integrated with all modules of SAP.
MM and PS, we can create Purchase requisition in PS itself rather than doing in MM. This PR can be converted into Purchase order. To create PR in PS, we have to use the MM master data.
SD and PS, we can check the revenues in PS. This can be done while creating the Sale order we have to give the WBS element.
FI and PS:  We can provide the direct financial entries in FI to post cost to the project in PS by selecting the WBS element.
I hope i clarified your query

  • Integration with other modules

    Hi Sap Gurus.
    Hi,
    Plz explain...
MM module is integrated with which modules .
    And how it is Integrated??
How MM module to integrate with CO(Product Costing).
If thr any material please send me to [email protected]
    Thanks..
    Raju

    Hi,
    FI-MM Integration:
    When you go for transactions like GR,GI,SES,MIRO,STO,Payment then your respective G/L account updated.For updatinging the G/L account, You have to go for Automatic Account determination and steps are as follow;
1.OMSK: Creation of valuation class and assigning account category refrence,
    2.OMWM: Active valuation Grouping Code,
3.OMWN: Active movement type with G/L account,
    4.OMWD:Active valuation Area,
5.OMWB: Active chart of account, transaction key, valuation grouping code, account grouping Code, valuation Class and G/L accounts.
Data flow to costing in the concept of cost element.
    SD-MM Integration:
Generally SD is integrating with MM in Stock Transport Order (STO) and Third Party Order.
Basically STO is divided in to three types,
    A.STO with SD delivery
    B.STO without Delivery
C.STO with SD delivery and billing.
    FI-SD Integration:
    In T.Code:VKOA
    If helpful then reward.

    FI   with MM
    CO with MM
    PP with MM
    SD with MM
    QM with MM
    PS with MM

    HI,
In SAP every movement of goods is followed by one movement type and movement type trigged transaction event keys. G/L account assignment and G/L account assigned to transaction event key(OBYC) or (FBKP).
    A. FI with MM FI-MM Integration
When you will receive the goods (MIGO or MB01), the movement type is 101 and the entries are:
    DR- Raw material inventory account
    Cr - GR/IR Clearing Account.
    Automatic Account Determination steps are as follow;
1.OMSK: Creation of valuation class and assigning account category refrence,
    2.OMWM: Active valuation Grouping Code,
3.OMWN: Active movement type with G/L account,
    4.OMWD:Active valuation Area,
5.OMWB: Active chart of account, transaction key, valuation grouping code, account grouping Code, valuation Class and G/L accounts
    B. CO with MM
No direct integration betn CO with MM but value flow from MM to CO through FI module( G/L account-Primary Cost Element)
    C. Integration with MM/IM and PP are following:
    1. When a Production order is created and released a reservation gets created for the materials in BOM
    2. When the reservation is created and materials are posted against the reservation with mvt type 311 these are transferred to the respective location.
    3. When a GR is posted with mvt type 101, the Finished or Semifinished goods are posted to the respective storage location and inventorized.
    4. When consumption is posted with mvt type 261 then stock will get reduced in resepective storage location.
    5. When a batch determination is done in a production order basing on the batch search strategy and sort rule material, quantity and batch are selected.
    6. During MRP, BOM which is a master data for PP is used to calculate the dependent requirements of materials.
    7. During availability check of a production order basing on the availability check configured materials will be selected and checked.
    D.SD-MM Integration:
Generally SD is integrating with MM in Stock Transport Order (STO) and Third Party Order.
Basically STO is divided in to three types,
    1.STO with SD delivery
    2.STO without Delivery
3.STO with SD Delivery and Billing.
