Integration Process w/ return code 99

Have a very weird situation with an integration process. In our development environment, in SXI_CACHE, it returns a return code of 99 signalling some type of error. The weird problem is that the process works just fine. It's an IDOC to flat file scenario and the flat file gets generated each time perfectly. This is with the process status of 99 in SXI_CACHE.
However, when the process is moved to QA, it does not work at all. The messages get stuck in SXMB_MONI with message "message has error on outbd. side". When I click on the PE to view the error, it appears the workflow behind the process is defined incorrectly becasuse in the event trace I see:
<b>Workflow definition of task 'WS90100009' cannot be activated.</b>
The reason for this error is
<b>Container element '_CRL_I001ZMTRLNO_0025' not available</b>
What is killing me is that this same error occurs in our development environment, yet the process still works fine.
Can someone possible explain what the container error might mean and how to fix? The workflow never gets kicked off because the definition is not active.

all green in that transaction...
in the process, i have two branches.. one to receive a MATMAS the other to receive a ZCLFMAS IDOC....
a file gets generated when any of the following conditions occur
- both IDOC's are received for the same material
- only MATMAS or ZCLFMAS are received and the other message type is not received within 3 minutes... we have time controls on the two branches
the error is in the initial receive step...keeps saying that container element is not available yet I have no idea what that means

one of my process chain local process chain is getting failed due to the following error message,After checking the local chain inside it is fine only problem is with this local content master data showing as red,How to turn it to green.
job got cancelled due to the below error message.
Chain 0TCT_MD_C_FULL_P01 Was Activated And Scheduled
Cannot activate job BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER (return code 8)
Process did not report an instance -> no log
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Step 1: Goto Display messages on right click of your Process chain
Step 2: Goto "Chain" tab and copy "Variant" and "Instance"
Step 3: Goto SE11 and Select table RSPCPROCESSLOG
Step 4: Paste the "Variant" and "Instance" and execute it, and the value of the other fields are returned: LOG_ID, TYPE, BATCHDATE and BATCHTIME
Step 5: Goto SE38 and enter RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH
Step 6: Enter the values in the fields received from RSPCPROCESSLOG table. Additionally, make the STATE as "G‟ -> Execute
Then your Process Chain will turn to green and proceed further......

Process Flows: Return Code or Message Severity

Hi all,
I am trying to get a decent email system set up that will let me know which part of our OWB ETL load has warnings or errors.
I have one main Process Flow that calls several other process flows. On both levels, I need to know if any errors or warnings were encountered during execution.
There is a function WB_GET_RETURN_CODE which I hoped to use to get the return codes of the process flows, but while testing, I noticed that there are not return codes for process flows.
My backup solution is to check ALL_RT_AUDIT_EXEC_MESSAGES if there are any records in there. If there are, I check if they are ERROR or WARNING. Would this be a good solution to my problem?
Or is there a better way to find errors/warnings of process flows?

Return code 99 for BPM

Hi All,
In sxi_cache for Integration Process the return code is 99.It should be 0.I have created BPM again but still that problem presists.when i post message it is not entering BPE engine.

After activating the process once more the detail-information comes up. Then i see the error steps (Message-Type = E). So for example:
Der Wert des Ausdrucks '&CH_EVENT_TAB_DATA.PAYLOAD.ERROR&' kann nicht als Quelle einer Zuweisung dienen (expression cannot be the source of an assignment)
But in the integration-process this seam to be good. What can i do? Delete the container-element and create a new one?

Hallo,
when i have a look at the details after acitvation my integration-process (with returncode 99) I make changes in my process. But after refresh there are the old items are still there. What´s about the Button "delete runtime Version" in the acivation step? Can i so delete this process in my cash? Have i to make a new integraion-process-object? After copy one process and giving a new name the same problems occures? What is the best solution?

You should not install it again..
Boot the computer into safe mode and try the uninstall again.
No luck you will have to manually uninstall which is a pain. Delete the files and open regedit and delete the registry entries.. better still use the system restore to go back to a previous system where you had no 4.2 installed..
Or just ignore it and install the latest 5.6.1 and if it gives trouble well do a clean install of windows.

PDW : DWLoader in Execute Process Task, Success Value return code

Hi,
I'm using SSIS Execute Process Task to call DWLoader.
It seems the Success Value return code is 2.
Which is working fine except that after all data are loaded in my table a 0 return code is sent.
And so my task fails.
Any idea how to handle this ?

My understanding is - When DWLoader process returns 2, everything goes fine but in another case it returns 0 then task fails.
You can Set: FailTaskIfReturnCodeIsNotSuccessValue
to FALSE so that task will not care about return values
But in case of any other error such as syntax - save
error in MyVariable and verify if MyVariable != ""

Failed (why else would I post). Error creating an image of Drive D:, rc = 2. Return Code -2147467259 0x80004005. "Not enough storage is available to process this command".

Seems a common set of Return Codes to post so apologies that's not specific.
To me appears the issue is related to the "Not enough storage is available to process this command" log entry. Looked into it and some SCCM 2007 issues that were related to too many sessions to the site server, but even after rebooting my MDT server
I get the same issue.
The server I am attempting to capture has a 60gb VHD with around 30gb actually used. The MDT Server has over 100GB free space.

when I was doing the EPC check i have approached this messgae.
Return code (SY-SUBRC) for the EXCEPTION will not be processed after CALL FUNCTION
'CU_READ_RGDIR'
(You can turn off this check by setting all EXCEPTIONS to 0)
(The message can be hidden with "#EC *)
Any pointers on how to handle this.

I have created Package with Procedure having Unix command.Unix command is only to cp data file from one folder to another archive folder.
we are defining variable FilePath and FileName.

Hi Aswini-
You should not use # symbol for your variable pointers, it will take as a comment line. Please use the below syntax:
FILE_PATH=c:\temp
FILE_NAME=test.txt
cp $FILE_PATH/$FILE_NAME.tag $FILE_PATH/archive/
And also you can check the exact error by executing the script file in your unix command prompt like this:
/home/test/test.sh

Invalid return code of process [bootstrap] found in dev_jcontrol

hi experts
I am facing problem that jcontrol doesn't start regarding Solution Manager SR3
Win(x64)/MSSQL2005.
I finish applying JAVA SPS 13 to SOLMAN SR3(SPS12) with Successfull
message, but after stopping SAP, AS-JAVA never come up ,ABAP is available.
I found the message
"*** ERROR => invalid return code of process [bootstrap] (exitcode = 66) [jstartxx.c 1642]"
in log file "dev_jcontrol".
I can see the solution regarding the trouble exitcode =66 is checking the db status in some threads. But in my case ABAP is available so I think this solution is not related with my "exitcode = 66".
Any information would be help to me.

It seems to say that I shoud adjust some MSSQL memory parameter to get it adopt for something...but I have no idea how and what shoud be done...

I get the following message when starting my dialog instance:
ERROR => invalid return code of process [bootstrap] (exitcode = 128) [jstartxx.c 1642]
JControlExecuteBootstrap: error executing bootstrap node [bootstrap] (rc = 128)
JControlCloseProgram: started (exitcode = 128)
JControlCloseProgram: good bye... (exitcode = 128)
The central instance starts without problems. But the central instance is running
on an other server (physically) than my dialog instance.
Does some know the error code 128, ic cannot find any information about that error code in other threads.

it´s approximately but my error said, as you see next, exitcode = 66 and not 128 as such error that was report...

I also faced the same issue.I checked with SAP note-997510 and as per that I checked the mentioned log files viz:
          dev_bootstrap* - logs from the Startup Framework that shows the
       parameters with which the bootstrap was started
    o log_bootstrap* - logs from the execution of the bootstrap. Shows
       the execution flow from the last session and the possible errors
    o jvm_bootstrap* - logs from the JVM output for the bootstrap
       process. Shows possible JVM problems during the bootstrap
       execution.
After checking I found that there was no space left for /usr/sap/sid,So I just increased the space and restarted the server.That's all
My AS Java was up then.

I thought I can run the OdiReverseResetTable command by choosing "Operating System" as target technology in the Knowledge Module.
Type this command:
cmd /c C:\Oracle\ODI11.1.1.6\oracledi\agent\bin\startcmd OdiReverseResetTable -MODEL=1001But it gives another error:
Wrong process return code: 1When I remove the arguments ( ) it works very well :
