Interaction Centre: Survey not saved correctly
Hi,
We are using SAP CRM 5.0 Interaction Centre. While creating a customer feedback transaction with survey in Interaction Centre, following is the observation:
1. We open the customer feedback transaction, enter the mandate information in the details tab and save the transaction.
2. Then navigate to questionaire tab and fill-in the survey questions and save the survey.
3. Navigate back to details tab and save the transaction. The survey and the transaction are saved correctly. Instead, without navigating back to details tab, when we try to save the transaction from the questionaire tab, neither the survey nor the transaction is saved.
Recently the application was upgraded from SP15 to SP16.
Please provide your inputs in solving this issue.

Thanks for taking your time to answer my issue.
Actually we have two issue in this
1.When users press the End button, ideally, the current screens should be closed and default screen of Accoutn Identification should be shown.
This does not happen.
Actually, nothing happens when users press the End button.
Users cannot click on anything else too and the screen seems to be frozen.
Users have to close the IC session and relogin.
2.And one more issue is when user ends call by click on end button it goes to account identification but Name of the account still be there on top left top side where it shown account name. but it allows agent to take another call and create service ticket.
Please note that we are using CTI( Avaya phone)
Now since these two are an intermittent issues, i do not have reproduction steps.

I am trying to assign delegation to a user and I receive the following message.
The delegates settings were not saved correctly. Cannot activate Send-on-behalf-of list. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object.
We are using 2010 for the server and client. There are only specific mailboxes that this is happening for after being migrated from Lotus Notes. The user can use their mailfile fine however it is just the delegation that appears corrupted somehow.
I'm not sure how to fix this. I have checked the access through the security tab in ad and that looks fine.
Any help would be appreciated.I did some more digging and I solved it.
This would be the solution:
In Active Directory Users and Computers
-Click on VIEW
-Click on ADVANCE FEATURES (this is important otherwise you won't see
the complete list in the next steps)
-Click on the USERS container
-Find the problem user's account
-Right mouse the account and click on PROPERTIES
-Click on the SECURITY tab
-In the top box, click on the SELF account
-In the bottom portion of the screen make sure the READ PERSONAL
INFORMATION & WRITE PERSONAL INFORMATION should both be checked for
ALLOW
If you can compare the permissions for 'SELF' with another user you probably should set them accordingly to be safe. I noticed that for the user where setting delegates (SOB) did
not work, more than those 2 permissions were missing.

Hyperlinks not saved correctly in PDF and Excel
Hi,
I have a few reports with hyperlinks to other reports that contain multiple input parameters, which makes the links very long. ( greater than 400 characters )
When the reports are saved as excel, I am unable to invoke the child report on clicking the link as the link is not saved entirely ( can see that when i try to edit the hyperlink in excel ). Therefore the child report opens but prompts for inputs as not all the inputs are passed
When saved as pdf, the link is not saved correctly and i cannot invoke the child report at all
Please can you suggest a solution/workaround? Alternately is it possible to disable the hyperlinks when saved as excel/pdf?

I think this is a limitation in Excel where URL syntax has to be 255 characters or less
In order to prove that it's coming from excel and not BO, try in excel to create a false hyperlink which contains more than 255 characters.
A workaround might be to modify the cell as text and will not be recognized as a URL. So you should get it entirely.

I have a client who is getting the above error when attempting to change delegate permissions in Outlook 2010.
She is also getting this error when she tries to remove a delegate.
I have tried recreating her mail profile.
I have also tried kb2593557. The auto fix didn't work at all and the registry fix only removes the error message and not the problem. This client would like to be able to edit her delegate permissions.
She is on Exchange 2010
Any assistance would be appreciated.The article you provided is not related to the error message that the user is getting it.

Saving that always a file should be opened with a program does not work correct.
I want *.nzb to be opened with a certain program. I save this combination and still everytime I get the option of an other programm.The article you provided is not related to the error message that the user is getting it.

Text layers not saved correctly as PDF from PS?
I frequently save layouts I do in Photoshop as PDF's. Lately I very often will discover the text does not display correctly in the PDF. One or two lines of text will display as white with a thin black outline, rather than as the basic solid black I'd specified.
I work on a Windows 7 machine with the current version of PS. The text is on layers when I save the file to PDF (from PS), but I do not include the layers in the PDF, so they should be flattening down.
Any ideas why this happens? I noticed a few weeks ago when it was also doing this that I updated the program a day later and the PDF's were not exhibiting this issue. But, now it's starting again. A big timewaster for me.

In fact that may be the problem here - you are telling the PDF maker to not retain vector text and when it tries to flatten, some layer style or something else gets in the way. Try to play with the PDF options. also manaulyl flatten the document in PS before saving to PDF...

File- XI- IDoc: Idoc header data not saved correctly
Hi guys!
I have a very strange problem:
I have a file to xi to IDoc scenario. Everything seems to be fine, IDoc is created in target system, but with strange error: <MESCOD>XX</MESCOD> segment is not written in IDoc header segment. This segment is available in message sent to ECC (after mapping), so there is no problem with ommiting the segment in mapping. But it's not saved.
This scenario worx fine in QA, but not in PRO.
Any ideas, what to look at?

Contact picture not saved correctly
When I edit or add a picture to a contact it is not saved as edited. I usually get the left lower portion of the edit blown up. Any work arounds or solutions.
ThanksI have a similar issue, user has no photo in AD, yet when this user call another user incoming call toast displays his predecessors photo who has already left the company. We have already cleared photo cache folder....thoughts?

Strange color setting not saving correct color
I am completely baffled why this is happening. I make a simple photoshop document with the color #OF457C and do a 'save for web' and save it as a jpeg at 100%. I then open it back up from my desktop and the color has darkened and changed the hex value to #10447D. Its darker and not the correct color for my background.
Try it for yourself. Is it a color profile thing? I am using CS4 but have noticed this happening on CS3 on another computer. Does the 'save for web' pick an alternative color? I've never seen a color shift like this before.I believe save for web uses sRGB, so if you are working in sometihng else, the conversion could cause a color shift.

Headings not saved correctly. Difficult to fix.
I opened a saved draft. When the file was saved, all headings were styled Futura LT Medium. When I opened the file, they had all changed to Lucida Grande in the document, though the styles themselves are still Futura LT Medium.
Further, I tried to correct it three different ways.
Select all uses of <style>, Revert to Defined Style
Failed because: Revert to Defined Style is greyed out when all uses are selected but works on individual headings.
Select all uses of <style>, use font drop-down to specify correct font
Failed because: font drop-down has no reflect (after selecting a font, it still displays empty and no fonts change).
Select one heading at a time, Revert to Defined Style
This works, but it's immensely time consuming. This is a 13 page report with many headings.
Eventually, after fixing a couple headings and wanting to be sure that I can save and reopen it without it reverting these changes, I used "Save a Version" and then quit Pages entirely. I reopened the document. The headings all appear to have spontaneously fixed themselves, but when selected the style shows a red triangle down arrow and can be Reverted even though this doesn't appear to change the heading in any way. So somehow Pages has corrected the headings but still thinks they deviate from the style.
What on earth is going on? Is this some kind of Pages/OS X Lion bug? Any advice or work-arounds?
Edit: Corrected second to last paragraph because it was not accurate.Sounds to me like you have altered the template but haven't captured the changes to the master pages.
When you are inserting new sections they are coming from the original master pages with the old style.e

Photoshop CS6 - Spot channels are not saved correctly in the psd files.

I'm using Photoshop CS6 and something happent a few days ago....some Windows or Adobe update messed up everything...I don't know...
Here's how things are.
If I add to an image a couple of new spot channels (any Pantone color) and remove the informations from the CMYK channels (or not-the problem it's there anyway), I should have an image with 6 color plates (CMYK and the 2 Pantone). It doesn't happened anymore...
I'm using Corel to print the files and the previous saved files are fine, I have all the Spot colors there. Now, If I edit any file I've worked on before, and save it again, the spot colors dissapear when I'm importing the psd file in my Corel document. And if there is no information on the CMYK channels, I'm getting a blank image...
I hope someone will give me some ideas because I don't know what to do anymore...
CodrutRight. It's not reading these new saved files correctly. The old ones are fine.
I forgot to mention one thing. I've got this CS6 as an upgrade and I still have the CS5 one running on the same computer. The CS5 version does the same thing...
Today I tryed again to open a PSD (CS6) with another CS5 version from another computer and came with an error message "Could not complete your request because the specified color book cannot be found". And the file didn't opened....

Interactive Captivate simulations not working correctly in Presenter
Hi,
I'm looking for a fix for what appears to be a bug with
importing interactive Captivate 2.0.0 (build 1177, originally a
trial verson) files into Presenter 6.0.432 (in PowerPoint 2000 SP-3
9.0.8952 on a Windows XP computer).
The course works fine when I publish the Presenter file to My
Computer, but doesn't work correctly when I publish to Adobe
Connect (hosted version). What happens is that the interactive
Captivate simulations are already done. (It seems like Presenter is
somehow completing the simulations before the end user gets to
those slides.)
Each course I've created is approximately 40 slides in length
with approximately eight Captivate demonstrations and eight
Captivate simulations spread out through the course. (A few slides
of content with voiceover, then a slide with a Captivate
demonstration, then a slide with a Captivate simulation slide, etc.
etc.)
Captivate Project Preferences are set to:
Advanced project compression
508 compliance
Compress compiled SWF file
Publish Adobe Connect Enterprise metadata
Captivate Publish settings are:
(unchecked) Export HTML
Flash Player 7
I tried switching the Flash Version to Flash Player 8, but it
didn't help at all, and instead caused an additional problem which
was that the text entry part of the interactive simulations stopped
working altogether.
I'm inclined to think this is a problem with the Connect
server (since the course runs fine when published to My Computer,
just not when published to Adobe Connect), but suppose it could be
a Captivate or Presenter issue. In any case, I'm open to whatever
gets it fixed.

I tried it, but it didn't help.
Given TechNote #46b77621 (recommending people link to
Captivate files rather than embed them in Presenter), and the
problems I'm having, I'm starting to wonder if this is a known
problem.
If it is, it's a big one, as a major selling point of
Presenter has been that you can embed Captivate files within the
slides. Linking out to them would be a different experience for the
end-user (and not as nice).
Another problem is that the TechNote says text entries won't
work in Captivate files embedded in Presenter (I have had some
inconsistent issues with this). Serious feature problem if it's
true. (As I'm sure you know, it's a very common aspect of computer
training courses, which is what many people are using
Presenter/Captivate for.)
Hopefully this all gets sorted out sooner rather than later.
(Or you never know, perhaps, hopefully, there's just something I'm
missing. :))

Why is my text not saving correctly in Acrobat Pro XI?
I use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. When I use the add text function, everything shows up correctly. I save the file and close it. Later on, when I open the saved file, some of the text (especially capital letters and symbols) show up as little boxes with an X in them. I have to highlight, cut, and paste everything in order for the text to show back up. Once it happens one time, it usually does not happen again. However, if I open up a document, fix the boxes, add additional notes, those notes then turn into boxed Xs the next time I open the document.

Edited photos not saving correctly
Sorry about the name. I am new to this program and I tried to join for an hour without success then my hubby took over!!! Now to my serious headache causing problem. After editing photos I saved them to my folder exactly as Adobe Help suggests, in Jpeg format. I can see them in my folder but the icon is blank and Properties suggest they are File format and not Jpeg. What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it...please?
Can you try an experiment.
1. Open Full Edit by clicking the edit button on the welcome screen.
2. On the menu click File à Open
3. Then open one of your images that has not been edited previously
4. Make a quick edit e.g. on the menu click Enhance à Auto Levels
5. Then on the menu click File à Save As
6. In the save as dialog click the dropdown for Format
7. Choose jpeg from the list and save.
Let us know if that is working OK.

Touchpad sensitivity not saving correctly
for some reason in system preferences when i try to change the touchpad tracking speed...it doesnt get saved if i put it on a certain level. it saves correctly on highest, 2nd highest, and 5th highest.
if i try to save it on 4th highest sensitivity, and close and reopen system preferences, then it gets saved as 5th highest instead of 4th.
if i try to save it on 3rd highest sensitivity (the one i want) and do the same thing, the sensitivity gets saved as 4th highestHi Jilian,
The first thing would be to confirm this unexpected behaviour by yourself doing some tests. Indeed evenif you trust your user, the sentence "a user who says..." is not much to start a debugging process.
Then if it is confirmed, you should check on which list it is happening. My first idea is for example if you update the "deliverables" list, if the PM changes back the deliverables values to the former values from Project Pro, the develirables list in Sharepoint
will be updated back to the old value.
I would also recommend to activate the versioning on those lists, so you can ensure that nobody changes back the list item to the old value.
Finally you could check the user profile of the 2-3 users that encounter this issue, and eventually recreate it.
