Intercompany FI customer/vendor invoice clearing F-32

Hello,
In ECC 6.0, we created Customer (DR) and Vendor (KR) invoices using FI transaction. When we clear Customer/Vendor using F-32, the invoices get cleared, but the process produces intercompany document (AB) as a open item on both Customer and  Vendor accounts. The companies have different currencies, but no exchange rate differences. OBYA has customer / vendor account numbers as clearing accounts. Can some one tell me why the intercompany clearing document is created as an open item and what need to be done to avoid this.

two causes it will appear
1) if u r clear partial payment that time it will come open items.
2) if u r useing Document splitting in New G/L concept ECC 5.0 OR ECC 6.0, this will come because of Document Splitting.
in which version u r using.

  • In F110 -Customer as a Vendor  invoice clear and make payment

    Dear all ,
    Can we make payment through in F110.
    WE maintain Customer as a vendor and Vendor as customer,While running automatic program system
    showing error massage"No pymt possible because items with a debit bal"
    But over all amount is credit ,But only customer invoice showing like this.
    Could you tel me that ,Is there any setting    ,Wt setting we have to configured .How to solve this issue

    we have maintained customer as a vendor in different company code
    one company code xxxx here we maintained as a customer ,In this
    customer master data we maintained vendor no and clearing with vendor we have selected.
    In next company code yyyy here we maintained vendor as customer ,here we maintained customer no and selected clearing with vendor.and payment method .
    In xxxx company code customer as a vendor balance is 1000.
    In another company code yyyy here vendor as customer balance is 15000,
    paying company code is yyyy.
    while running F110 system asking paying company code and sending companycode,we are entering two times.first time yyyy and second time xxxx.
    that time showing error"No pymt possible because items with a debit balance"
    Then we edit proposal its working fine ,But its not clear against vendor
    invoice
    system taking full vendor invoice amount(15000) as a out going payment
    and 1000 is incoming payment.
    But we want pay only difference amount of the invoice.
    For this what we need to do in the system please guide

  • Customer-Vendor Document Clearing - Issue

    HI,
    Vendor, SOMA, agreed to pay the installation charges of $37.89 on Customer # 15282 invoice # 15016788. SOMA allowed us to short pay an invoice to them in settlement of the invoice amount they owe to us. Is there a way to clear the $37.89 short pay that is now an open line item on Vendor SOMA's account with the open invoice of $37.89 on Customer # 15282's account?
    Please help me to fix this..

    yes. you can do it using "Post with clearing"
    Go to TCode F-04. Then give posting key as 17 (Credit Customer). Then press enter. Fill details like amount and others and then click on "Choose open items"
    In that give account type as K (i.e. vendor) and give vendor number. Then you can clear the items you want.

  • Vendor Invoices clearing

    Hi,
    We have a requirement that Company is divided into 2 companies. The other company is using Oracle for its business.
    We have an issue is that How to clear the vendor invoices in the base company?
    What are the neccessary steps to be followed for the separation (demerger) ?
    At the end of day, all the invoices related to 2nd company will be shown as cleared (in Base company).
    could any one suggest your views and explain the process to be followed.

    1st : In Compny Code A, we need to pass following entries :
    Entry would be : In the Books of Comapny A :
    (a ) Pay to the Vendor of B's..
    Vendor A/c DR ...
    TO Bank A/c CR
    (b) Claim the same from B..by Debiting B's A/c...
    B's  A/c .. DR
    TO A's A/c...CR
    (c) After receive the same from B...
    Bank A/c DR...
    TO B's A/c..CR
    ( After all you would find Vendor A/c.. Dr.. to A's A/c )
    2nd : In the Books of B's..
    ( a ) Pay the amount to Company A ..
    A's A/c Dr...
    To Bank A/c CR..
    I hope the above would clarify to some extent.

    You could define a payment term into the customer / vendor master data example 0001.
    Then into the payment term (trabnsaction OBB8) You can link the payment term to the payment method:
    Payt Terms      0001     Sales text
    Day limit       0        Own explanation
                                       Fixed day
                                       Additional months
    Block key
    Payment Method       B
    Now please post an invoice and the payment method will be inerited automatically.

    We have maintained the customer in the Vendor master Data and vice versa.
    We have made some transactions,invoice and payment etc...
    Now the accounts are showing balance...how to knock off the balance.

    Since your vendor master 100 is having customer 58 , but customer 58 is having vendor 115, System will remove customer assignment from vendor master as soon as you assign different vendor master in customer 58,
    Please re-check vendor master again and correct the customer assignment here as 58 and in customer master data vendor assignment as 100 , then tick in payment transaction- clearing with customer in vendor master and clearing with vendor in customer
    Go to F-44 , select your vendor 100 and execute it , it will include open items of customer 58.

  • Clearing between customer and vendor invoice with F110 transaction

    I have an issue related to the functionalities of the transaction F110.
    I'd like to clear the vendor invoice with the custome invoice.
    Customer and vendor records are linked properly and the flag 'Clrg with Cust.' is set on vendor and 'Clearing with Vendor' is set on customer.
    Both the invoice are in USD and the amount in document currency of the vendor invoice is > of the amount in document currency of the customer invoice.
    I entered in both the invoice the same payment method (outgoing payment method).
    The error that I can see in the proposal log is related to the customer invoice and is:
    Payment method selection for items due now to the amount of USD          500,00
    Due items with currency USD, pmnt method  - items total is > 0
    ..none of the payment methods defined can be used for these items
    information re. vendor xxxxxxxx / customer yyyyyyy / paying company code TS01 ...
    .. payment not possible because of reported error
    According to the log of the proposal the vendor invoice can be paid.
    If I click on display proposal and double click on the customer invoice (with red light) I can read the note:

    Following the settings of the payment method used:
    Payment method in the country
    - Payment method for outgoing payment selected
    - Bank transf. selected
    - allowed for personal payment flagged
    - Bank details flagged
    - Document type for payment XX
    - clearing document type XX

    Currency allowed: This table is empty (will mean that all currencies are permitted)
    Payment method in company code
    Minimum amount: 0,01
    Maximum amount: 9.999.999.999,99

    I'm afraid it is a problem with the bank but I don't understand why the payment of the vendor invoice is allowed and the customer invoice not.

    Can someone pls share what is the IHC config steps required for intercompany Customer/vendor netting.
    is there a way to make payment from F110  run from Intercompany vendor, clears receivale balance by Financial statement posting to the intercompany customer.

    In the case of customer receivables, you can set-up a company code as a customer. For example you have company code 0001 and company code 0002. You want company code 0001 to collect from company code 0002. You can simply set-up company code 0002 as a customer in company code 0001. Let's say company code 0002 will be customer number 11002. You create a customer invoice for 11002 in company code 0001 and then run F110.
    Postings will be the same as how normal customers are.

  • Clearing with customer & Vendor

    I have customer who is vendor and vendor who is customer.I have assigned customer no in vendor master and vice versa. I forgot to click the indication Clearing with cust/vend. I have posted the TRansactions now i Have ticked the Clearing with cust/ Vend.
    How to i Set off line item with cust and vendor .
    One more thing is in f-32 clear customer we can clear clearing doc. or we can clear open item also and sett off customer and vendor.
    As per my knowledge if u do partial payment then my orginal Invoice wil show as open item and one more line item wil b generated with clearing document M I right? Is there any setting in ECC 6. through which partial payment will directly get cleared.
    plz need some input regardin clearing doucment
    I have tried but unable to come to conclusion

    The whole logic of having a partial item is that the open item will remain open until the whole amount is paid. There is no meaning in clearing it completely when there is a partial clearing. For the customer clearing, you select other accounts, select the vendor account and the account type K and clear the open items. Let me know if it helped.

    In Import procurement you hve separate pricing procedure, this you will assign to vendor.
    Freight, Customs duties and others create as Planned delivery condition types. While defining the condition type you can define this option. Once you define in this way, while creating Purchase order against to tht condition type you can enter the vendor name(customs vendor).
    For example Freight cost you hve to pay to C&F agent or FFAgent right ? In purchase order select the conditon type and click on details there you can enter the Vendor number. Like this do the same for custom duty condition types and enter customs vendor name.
    In Invoice verification in MIRO select planned derivery costs then the system will show pop screen which contains the vendors entered against condition types. Select the required vendor (FFAgent for Freight charges, customs vendor for customs duties) and post the Invoice verification.
    For material select Goods/Service items in MIRO, system by default it will take Imports vendor.
    Before posting GR for import PO you hve to post the planned delivery costs in MIRO.

  • Requirement to bill customer before vendor invoice in third party processing

    We have a requirement to bill a customer before the vendor invoice in third party processing. The reason behind this is because the vendor send invoices only once in a month and the customer cannot wait for so long to to receive their invoice from the business.
    I saw some discussions that the third party processing with shipment notification can be used however when I check the business flow in that case I see the following.
    A Third-Party Sales Order is created and a purchase requisition is generated automatically 
    A list of purchase requisitions to be assigned is displayed 
    The assigned purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders 
    The purchase orders are approved 
    A statistical goods receipt is posted 
    The vendor invoice is verified and posted 
    The billing is created
    It clearly says that the customer billing document is only possible after entering the invoice from the vendor. Which would be the best way to fullfill this requirement?

    No, MIGO done by in our company system only. May be you might have misunderstood because of  my sentence.instead of company i mentioned as Vendor.
    For Vendor this process will become as standard sales and he will do PGI. However in our system we do MIGO .
    Suppose the customer ordered 10 Qty. Vendor delivered 2 Qty wouldn't the above equation Order qty- MIGO qty= Invoice qty be 10-2= 8? but we should be really billing the customer only for 2 right?
    No you have mistaken my idea, it was not a formula just i was giving example.
    Billing qty is nothing but it is qty copies from source document to target document.

    Goods receipt quantity less invoiced quantity
    for example order qty is =10 and vendor delivered first time 2 qty to the customer and he billed our company for 2qty and we billed the customer for 2 qty.
    And next time let us assume again Vendor delivered 4 more qty and billed us 4qty.And this time when you are billing the customer in VF01 system will propose the 4qty only( total goods receipt qty 6 - already invoiced qty 2).
    Hope now you understood the meaning of E(goods receipt qty less invoices qty).
    And did you try your requirement as mentioned in my first reply?

  • Problem with customer/vendor clearing

    Hi all,
    We are launching the payment proposal for this month and we have found one issue related to the clearing customer/vendor.
    The vendor invoices are filled in the Part. Bank Type with 1 or 2u2026, but the customer invoices has this field as blank.
    In the payment proposal, the system does not clear both documents. It only considers vendor invoice.
    We solve the issue temporally by changing manually the partner bank type for the customer invoices. Then the system considers both documents (vendor/customer).
    Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?

    I already tried this option.
    But the problem is not only for one single customer, but for several ones.
    Which means that if I am going to use this solution I will have to
    maintain the Bank details for all customers master data which is a long process.
    Any other suggestions?
