Intercompany Sale-Excise Issue

Guru's
We have a Intercompany scenario as below
Two company codes A and B
Two Plants A and B
Two Sale Org A and B
Company A and sale org A receives the order and sees that  material is avaialbe in Plant B so get's from there, intercompany price(PI01) comes and everthing is fine
the issues is when company B raises the IC invoice, the excise and tax are getting calculated on base price. The client wants the excise and tax to be calculated on Transfer Price.
The excise and tax should be on PI01and not on ZPRO, only on IC invoice.
ZPR0 - 1000RS
PI01- 2000RS - Excise should be on this price.
How to handle this ???
Thanks

Hi,
Keep the PI01 and ZPRO in same pricing procedure when you use F2 invoice (the invoice to raise actuall customer) system automatically will pick all condition types in the calculation except PI01 (because its a statistical). when you rasie a IV for cross company invoice system will pick the PI01 in activation and it will deactivate all the other condition types which you used to raise F2 Invoice.
I hope till this you are clear.
Now  Try this
Define a new condition type with 100% value in conditio record. [picking 100% value|Re: Copying values from one condition type to next condition type in Pricing]
& keep as below in your pricing procedure to calculate excise
10     ZPRO
20     PI01
30     New condition type  From 20
40     BED condition type from 30
50     Ecess condition type from 40
60    SEcess condition type from 40
Then system will pick to calculate excise as base value (assessable value) from new condition type.
I hope this technique will help your query

    Dear Prasad,
As far my understanding the excise law, the excess amount paid by you can only be refunded by excice office.
In J2iun the entries are posted thru sales invoice or invoice cancellation.
The utilization amout increases when we create excise invoice thru J1iin and reduction in utilization is thru invoice cancellation.
So in my opinion , you cannot reduce the utilization by passing a JV.

    Hi Experts
I try to find SAP notes regardsing the credit memo request for intercompany related issue but I can
not find any nates. The customer return the goods with 2 different
    scenario :-
    -Return with credit
    -Return with replacement.
Can anybody explain how this 2 scenario perform in the SAP
intercompany sales process. Appreciate for your help. Thanks in advance.

    Already answered
Enter IG (internal credit memo) as the billing type for intercompany
    billing for order type RE.
    Cust-Sales/distrib-Transactions-Billing-Intercompany billing-Order types
Intercompany billing always refers to a delivery
    Processing flow will be:
    1. Create returns request invoice receipt (with or w/out reference)
    2. Create returns delivery and goods receipt
    3. Create credit memo invoice receipt for customer for 1.
    4. Create internal credit memo for 2.
Therefore you must make the following entries in the document flow
    for billing documents:
      Target BillType        DlvType              ItemCat
    a)    IG                  LR
    b)    IG                  LR                    REN
    Parameters for entries:
    For a) Copying requirement:  14  Dlv.-rel.header IV
Copy item no.: x  (Check and decide yourself)
    For b)Copying requirement: 15 Dlv.rel. item IV

  • How to avoid special stock indicator for intercompany sales transitions.

    Hi Friends
I have an issue Intercompany sales .if I  enter intercompany plant(Delivering plant) in the sales order system is taking special stock indicator and looking for sales order stock.
If I enter company code plant for sales from unrestricted stock, system is not taking special stock indicator.
Please advice how to avoid special stock indicator for intercompany sales transitions.
    Thanks in advance.
    SRK

    Ravi,
Special stock is generally determined by the MRP strategy group in the material master of the plant against which you place your order.  The strateg(ies) contained in the strategy group will determine the SO requirements type, which will in turn determine whether or not the order is 'account assigned' (special stock).
It is normal to only have one strategy contained in a strategy group.  However (and I seldom recommend this) SAP will support multiple strategies within one strategy group.  In this case, you could have both MTS and MTO orders against the same plant/material, by manually altering the requirements type in the sales order.  This scenario is usually difficult for a planner, and involves additional manual attention to make everything work.
I suggest that your first avenue is to change the Strategy group in the material master of the delivering plant to one that supports MTS.  This has a big impact in Controlling and in Production Planning, so ensure that all affected functional groups are aware of what you are doing, and of the resulting changes that they will experience.  The transition from MTO to MTS must be carefully controlled.
If you are not a PP expert, I suggest you consult with your local PP expert before embarking on this change.

  • Intercompany Sales Flow

    Dear Friends,
I want to implelment the intercompany Sales flow.
What I want to know is the concept of getting the same pricing as in Intercompany PO to flow in the Intercopmany Billing.
Is this possible to achieve, as we usually have different pricing procedures for Purchase Order and Intercompany Billing.
Can anyone help and guide me in this regard.
    Best Regards,
    Harsh

    Hi,
intercompany billing is one of the scenario.
    Business case: -
Customer orders goods to company code/Sales organization A (Eg.4211/4211).Sales org 4211 will accept and punch the order in the system with sold to party as end customer code in the system. Company code/sales org B (Eg.4436) will deliver the goods to end customer and raise an intercom any billing on 4211 with reference to delivery. This can happen only after 4211 raises invoice to his end customer to whom the material has been delivered by 4436.
    SPRO Customization required:-
    1. Assign plant of delivering company code (Eg.SI81) to sales org/distribution channel combination of ordering company code (Eg.4211/RT)
    2. Maintain intercom any billing type as IV for sales document type OR
    3. Assign Organizational Units By Plant (Eg.SI81/4211/RT/11)
4.Define Internal Customer Number By Sales Organization (Eg.4436 will create customer master for 4211 company code and that number will be maintained in this relationship:-4211/231)
    5. Automatic posting to vendor account (Optional)
    6. Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4211/RT/A/1/RVAA01-For customer sales and billing
Maintain pricing procedure determination for 4436/RT/A/1/ICAA01-For intercompony billing
    Master data to be maintained:-
    1. Create end customer master in company code/sales org 4211/RT/11
    2. Create customer master for 4211 company code/sales org in 4436/RT/11
    3. Maintain PR00 as price for end customer-Active in RVAA01
    4. Maintain PI01 as price which has to be paid to 4436-Statistical in RVAA01
    5. Maintain IV01 as inter-company Price-Active in ICAA01
    Process:-
    1. Create OR with sold to party as end customer.
    2. Plant to be selected is delivering plant belonging to different company code. With this selection system will treat this order as intercomany sales.
    3. Pricing procedure is RVAA01
    4. With reference to this order delivery will be created from the delivering plant and post the goods issue for this delivery.
    5. Ordering sales org will create billing document F2 with reference to delivery for end customer.
    6. Delivering sales org will create intercompany billing IV with reference to delivery document.
I hope this helps you.Reward points if solution is useful.

  • Manage import duties in intercompany sales billing

    Dear experts,
    We have a scenario where:
In country A, we have a company Ca who is selling goods to a local customer.
The goods are shipped directly to the customer from a plant Pb, belonging to company Cb in country B.
So obviously, this can be managed through an intercompany sale flow.
The issue is that we're delivering the customer directly and we are dealing with the import duties.
In normal situations, we create a billing document from company Ca to the final customer.
And Company Cb invoices Company Ca, and then an idoc is doing the AP posting in company Ca for the purchase side with the same amount as the intercompany invoice.
Any idea how we can manage the import duties in this case, because these import duties are paid directly to the local customs office and are based on the amount of the intercompany billing.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Processing an Intercompany sale
To create an Intercompany sales transaction proceed with creating the standard sales order. In the sales order, change the delivering plant at the line item level & create a delivery for the new shipping point represented for the delivering plant. Proceed with the delivery functions of selecting the packing & posting the goods issue. Then create an external invoice that will be sent to the customer & create an Intercompany invoice. That will represent the billing doc between the delivering plant & the selling sales orgn.
An internal Intercompany invoice can be created by entering the delivery no again for processing when using the transaction VF01. One can also select the doc due for Intercompany billing by using the billing due list VF04. When using the billing due list be sure to select the Intercompany-billing doc as the documents to be used, by checking Intercompany billing.
A Check List for Intercompany sales processing can be the following:
The enterprise structure must be maintained correctly, i.e., the plants must be assigned to the correct company codes as well as to the correct combination of sales orgn’s & distbn channels.
The Intercompany customer must be assigned to relevant
    sales orgn’s
The delivering plant must be assigned to the sales orgn.
The material to be sold must exist in the original & delivering plant.
The sales order must be relevant for Intercompany sales & have an assigned billing doc type
The copy control rules must be defined between the standard invoice, such as F2, & the inter company invoice, such as IV.
The pricing proc may have a special cond type assigned to it.
This special cond type may represent the price to
Intercompany sales orgn or it may represent a special discount offered to the Intercompany sales orgn for the material sold
The standard system has the following cond types:
To represent the Intercompany price as quantity-dependent.
To represent the Intercompany condition as percentage.

    Hi Ashish,
It may be worthwhile checking OMCQ Tcode to see if there are any custom versions for Application Area M7 with Error Message Category as "E" for Message 018.
MM -> Inventory Mgmt & Physical Inventory -> Define Attributes for System messages.
Also check if your user id has the parameter MSV in Su01d transaction.
    Hope it helps

  • Prevent Intercompany Sales by Sales Order Type

We have a scenario where the company wishes to prevent Intercompany Sales by order type.
In Standard SAP, scenarios exist such as this.....
Sales Org A111 is aligned to Company Code C100
Order type ZZ is placed against Sales Org A111 with the item shipping from a plant aligned to company code D100
Result would be a trade invoice to the customer from Sales Organization A111 and an intercompany invoice (std SAP type IV) between the selling and delivery organizations.
In our case, they still want to allow this scenario for the sales organizations and plants involved, but NOT for certain Sales Order Types.  Is there a way to prevent this and have the user alerts at Sales Order document creation that this is not allowed?
I tried removing the Intercompany Billing document type assigned to the sales order type.  This does NOT alert the user in any way and only prevents an intercompany billing document from being created at billing time.  We need to prevent the sales order up front during Sales Order processing.
I have searched through OSS and Google (for various forums) with no success.  Most give excellent instructions with the steps to set up Intercompany Billing, but not to prevent it.

    Karol
If you have already tried 'Define Order Types For Intercompany Billing' and it did not work, then the best bet for you is to work with user exits during Sales document processing:
    Program MV45AFZB- USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP, or
    Program MV45AFZZ- USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT or USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
You may use the logic to  establish that it is an inter-company scenario ( check if the item plant is not assigned to the company code for the sales org from the sales area), then issue a information or error pop up message.
    Hope this helps.
