Interim Bill

Hello All,
While doing a interim invoice, the system is generating an error "G/L account  does not exist". All the G/L are maintained.
Can anyone guide what the issue could be.
thanx.

Hi,
The GL account is determined based on the following combination during invoicing.
1. Company Code: Maintained at contract account level
2. Division: Determined from contract
3. Account determination id: Maintained at contract level (For invoicing)
4. Main transaction: For consumption billing the internal main in 0100. You need to assign with external main transaction.
5. Sub transaction: You have maintained this at rate steps.
Please check for all the subtransactions of the rates which are used during billing, the G/L account is maintained. You can check this from EK02 transaction.
Further for the main transaction you need to assign the receivable G/L account for the Company Code, Division, Account determination id and main transaction in EK01 transaction.
If you maintained the above two things, hope that will solve your issue.
Thanks.

  • How Interim Meter Reading before Device Replacement is adjusted in Periodic Billing after Replacement without sending Interim Bill Doc. to Customer

    Dear All,
At my Project Consumption is calculated as per Status and Notes Taken,i,e if it is "OK" reading MR is taken Directly for Consumption Periodically and Billed, but according to Logic if Customer MR Status and Notes is DL and AB(Door Lock and Abnormal) we Estimate Consumption according to logic written.
Now i have a problem when ever OK Reading Billing is done before Replacement - consumption of Replacement (Consumption given when Old Device billing related removal) with OK Notes is getting adjusted after replacement, but when estimation billing by DL or AB or Disconnected status Consumption been billed before replacement and after this device is been replaced is not able to adjust Replacement "OK" Reading (Consumption given when Old Device billing related removal) in Next Periodic Billings. So what i found is adjustment is not happening because of Absence of "OK"  MR Billing before Replacement and i asked them to make and Interim Billing so that the consumption should be adjusted before replacement and after replacement there should not be any issue. Now my User is ok with the above idea, but he want Interim Bill Consumption should not be sent to Customer and Interim Bill Consumption should be included in Periodic Billing and Invoice after Replacement is sent to Customer.
Please can any one give me some idea on above scenario.

  • Billing Process

    Hi to all SAP Guru's,
Can anybody please guide me how we make the Billing in IS-H. As i have explore the system yet i m not sure how the billing process work.
Can anybody please provide me the detail of billing process.

    Hi
I'll try to answer your questions:
    1. Actually i want to understand the difference between Interim Billing and Final billing. If we make the interim billing of patient then final billing is not possible.
Answer: I undersand that you make a interim billing and there are no more services in the case and you want to mark the case with final billing flag. If this is the case, it's possible to after activating the ISH_MISC1pack of the Enhancement Package 4. (see release notes)
In prior releases, as far as I know, it's not possible.
    2. I want to give estimated bill before the final billing. Is it possible?
Answer: You could run and print a test bill, but all the services must exists in the case.
IF you want to do an estimate before the case is created or before entering the services in the case ... exist a functionality made for Singapore, you could use that one. In Latin America, we develop our own Estimate program.
    3. I want to add a service which calculates the 10% of the total billing. How to maintain this service or condition?
Answer: As far as I know, it's no possible to do discounts to the complete document (its possible in SD standard ... not in ISH) . You could do the discount service by service ..

    No . range
Utilities Industry/Invoicing/Invoice Processing/Define Number Ranges for Print Documents
    Document Type:
Utilities Industry/Invoicing/Invoice Processing/Define Document Types for Print Documents
then allocate document types to print document:
Utilities Industry/Invoicing/Invoice Processing/Allocate Document Types to Print Documents

  • Inclusion of line items before previous document due date passed

    Hi All,
I am having below mentioned scenario:
    1. I am invoicing a consumer in Aug-14 with periodic billing order. Document is having due date of 10-Sep.
    2. Further I am doing interim billing and invoicing (before previous document due date expired) with posting date say 05-Sep.
The recent document of 05-Sep is not including all line items of document invoiced in Aug-14.
How do we include Aug-14 bill line items in next invoicing.
    Saurabh

    Hi,
If you are not using Integrated Account Maintenance, under "Item Selection for Bill printout (Subitems)" it should be as easy as leaving Open Items Selection restriction blank - meaning "All open items for contract acct (w. and w/o ref. to cntrct)", setting the "Interval days for the due date of items to be printed" to 999, and choosing the "Consider Items in Bill Sum Total" setting - once or always, I believe. If it doesn't work, I'd be looking at FQEVENT R410 FMs to see if the Items are passed that far.
<rant on>I can't to this day get how come so many Utilities (in my experience - all I've worked with) practice this "double" or even multiple billing of the same amounts (even if the amounts do not multiply in FI-CA postings, you have invoiced the amounts to customer multiple times). Or rather - nobody has been able to tell a valid and irrefutable reason, why things need to be done that way - it's usually "that's how we have always done it" reason. The accounting people don't even care that the previous invoice remains valid in the system (as long as their precious FI-CA postings do not multiply), because there is nothing in IS-U that automatically reverses or invalidates it... And I don't get why the regulators even permit it...<rant off>

  • ISH Cost center allocation NCOP

    Hi there,
Using transaction NCOP I have set up cost centers linked to organizational units.  I have a requirement to assign organizational units to different cost centres based on validity dates.  For example, org unit C5 is assigned to cost center C5 from 19990101 to 20100811.  As of 20100812, org unit C5 is assigned to cost center C5SG.  When billing using transaction NA30N when the patient has been discharged, I would expect that the revenue up to 20100811 would be assigned to cost center C5 and after that, it would be assigned to C5SG.  However, when I bill using a date of 20100830, I see that all revenue is going to C5SG instead of being split based on validity dates.  When interim bill using a date of August 11, the revenue up to that date is allocated to C5 correctly.  The entries in table NO2K have the correct validity date.  Any idea why revenue postings do not consider the validity date on the cost center config and why they seem to be dependant on billing date?
    Thanks,
    Shelley Braida

    Hi Shelley
I'm sorry, but the system takes the billing date for cost center determination ...
    See include LN090F01 - form FILL_FKOMP_GENERAL.
        PERFORM fill_costcenter USING p_fkomp-anfoe p_fkomp-anpoe
                                      p_fkomk-abdat  s_tn25a
                                CHANGING p_fkomp-kostl p_fkomp-kokrs
                                         p_fkomp-prctr p_fkomp-aufnr p_rc.
the p_fkomk-abdat is the Billing date and is the date used for cost center determination.
IF you need to do another determination, from service date for example, I recommed to do so in the SD exit USEREXIT_FILL_VBRK_VBRP from the include RV60AFZC.

  • Error in el01 after MR unit change

    Hi,
    I need your help :
Partner with BP period 2011-01-01 to 2011-04-30.
An advance invoice has been made out with payment date 2011-02-28. Now BB plan is inactive.
Creating interim billing in 2011-03-05  (interim meter reading with billing)
MR unit change from 06.03.2011 (MR unit with BB cycle=0)
Error (el01) while creating MR order for installation (data: 20.03.2011)- interim with billing (02) ; message E9 035 'No objects
    corresponded to the selection criteria'.
The only way is to do it with the device. Is there any way to do it for installaton?
From 2011-06-01 everything is OK. (for both)
    Thanks.

    Hi,
If you would like to enter the MR result with MR reason 02 - Interim billing, you do not need to create MR order. Just enter the installation number, date of MR. After that you can enter the MR results and save.
The MR order will be created immediately.
    Best regards

  • Delete MRO

    Hi Folks,
I am facing a problem to delete a MRO . I create a MRO as a interim billing but now I want to delete tis MRO . I do EL37 but in here it shows me the error that you can not delete the MRO because the schedule records is not created for the portion . I try to create Schedule record by ea43 for that particular month but I am unable to create schedule record for that portion only for that particular month.
    Any reply will be  appreciated
    Regards,
    Khurram Siddique

What it is possibly trying to do is "unsupress" the appropriate periodic MRO when you are deleting the Interim MRO.
ensure there is a schedule record for the next month also.
Since the schedules you are trying to generate are obviously non-dynamic, is there any reason you are not able to simply generate the schdule for N months into the future? Is there a Factory Calendar referenced which expires in the next month?
I would need more specifics regarding the dates of the MRO & the existing schedules

  • How to deactivate creation of Interim MR Result on reversal of Move-out

    Hi
I have performed a move-out for an installation on 30.11.2008 and provided the 03 (move-out) read.
Processing for move-out reversal has been configured in the foregound .I have reversed the move-out.
In the move-out reversal on the meter reading tab page system shows that 03 read has been reversed.
On the reversal of 03 (Move-out) read, system automatically created a 09 (interim read without billing)
Is there any customization setting, which can deactivate the creation of 09 reading?
    Best Regards
    Amit Rastogi

    Hi,
We get the same problem when we created a Periodic MRO .
Look Device Management-> Meter Reading-> Basic Settings-> Define Control Group for Creation of Multiple MR Orders  .
Hope it will help you !

  • Error while creating billing documents

    Hi,
While creating billing documents I am getting error message as
Maintain customizing for excise and series group determination
    Message no. 8I619
I have check the setting for CIN it is OK excise and series group are maintain properly so what can be the proble,
    regards,
    zafar

    Hi,
    Check once again customizing
Maintain Series Group - In this IMG activity, you define the different excise series groups within your company. Series groups allow you to maintain multiple number ranges for the outgoing excise documents. Based on excise regulations and exemptions from the authorities you can maintain multiple number series for outgoing documents. But each of these series has to be declared to the excise authorities.
    - Define excise series groups based on type of outgoing document
    - Assign series group to excise registration ID
    - If no financial postings are required for an Excise invoice in this seris group then you tick the 'No utilization' indicator.
    - If the CENVAT has to be paid immediately and you need not wait for the Fort nightly payment then mark the 'Immediate Utilization' Iindicator. Example - You could define two series groups, group 001 for excise invoices, and group 002 for 57 F4 documents.
    - No account postings for CENVAT in sales cycle
    - No utilization Flag
If you do not need any CENVAT utilization for an excise invoice but would like to just generate an excise invoice then you need to mark this indicator.
If the flag is checked then system will create an Excise invoice in the given Series group but there will not be any account postings or Part2 postings.
Immediate Utilization of CENVAT - Specifies that when you create an excise invoice, the system immediately pays the amount from CENVAT and creates the Part II entry. Such invoices will not be listed for fortnightly utilization.
If you have both fortnightly and immediate utilization for the same excise group, the account determination within CIN IMG should point to the ED interim account.
    Thanks

  • Billing request? or Resource Related billing?

    Hi,
Please read the real life SD - FICO scenario given below and if you think you have the solution, kindly state your suggestion. Would be much appreciated.
    ===================================================
    Engineering Services Orders (Inter-company)
    Process Steps (As-is)
1.Purchase Order is received in Co. A – via EDI, from Co. B
2.Sales Order (services) is automatically generated in Co. A. It has item 10 as hours and item 20 as travel expenses in $ amount
Sales accounting creates ‘settlement rule’ and ‘internal order’ number and advises the engineers who will provide the services
3.Later on, engineers report actual hours for services rendered, by using CATS system This merely reports data in SAP system but does not make an FI posting
They use the order number advised to them in step 2 to create an internal order
4 Actual travel expenses are added by Payroll - as a direct posting to FI
    5. Periodic CATS batch job is carried out by relevant IT person, to settle costs to an ‘internal order’ (not to sales order). These costs are labor hours and travel expenses
    6. FICO personnel then do transaction K08G to settle internal order --> sales order
    7. (Manual Step) Sales Accounting then runs report KVBI to view and select data related to service orders The data is downloaded to an Excel worksheet and handed over to SD-Billing.
    8. (Manual step) The cost data in dollar figures is converted to hours by SD-Billing, dividing cost data with rate / hour given in the sales order condition record
    9. SD-Billing creates invoice. Since it is order-related invoice, it has open quantities coming in from the order. These are now manually over-written / replaced with the actual data from step 7 & 8. An invoice is thus, generated for each order individually.
    Process (To-be)
To create an interim document (billing request?) to replace manual steps 7 and 8. This interim document needs to capture actual cost data form the system – and also show the remaining / open quantities from the sales order
QUESTION: what is the best route to go?
    • Configure a Billing Request document (by modifying a standard Credit Memo Request / Debit Memo Request) or
    • Going via the route of resource-related billing?

Refer to the document: J48 - Project with Intercompany Billing
    Link: http://help.sap.com/bp_blv1500/BL_India/index.htm
This is a very good document for guidance.

  • Billing is not flowing from CRM to R/3(in Lease asset accounting)

    Dear all,
We are working on Lease Asset Management. In our operations CRM is the Front End and R/3 is the back end. The billing flows from CRM to R/3 through a background job.
The problem is, Some of the billing document got stuck in G error, that is "Error detected in transfer to accounting", While Transfering the billing documents through" /BEA/CRMB12 - Sales -> Billing -> Transfer Billing Documents to Accounting"
System throwing the two types of error messages
    1. Object not known in CO ( Message Class IAOM / No. 028 )
    2. For Comination: 4F20/INTP(*interim period*) ,Transaction Type is Not Mapped in R/3 Table: ZMAPBILL_COND
For the first type of error, The CO assignments in
    1.IAOM_ASSIGNMENTS
    2.IAOM_EXT_OBJ_INF
Entreis are maintained in these two tables. Please let us know any other settings to be maintained in FI/CO and LAM to resolve this issue.
    Please respond ASAP
    Thanks and Regards
    Priyadarshini

    Hi Priyadarshini,
I do not have SAP CRM system in front of me, but the error # Message Class IAOM / No. 028 is shown when u r passing billing doc to R/3.
The error is more related to Internal Order Controlling area in R/3.
IAOM_ASSIGNMENTS has Contract guid / Billing guid for which IO posting is done. Message no 28 , i beleive no assignment found when posting.
check FM IAOM_GET_ACCOUNT_ASSIGNMENT which throws error.
Also as per my Leasing knowledge 4F20 will be passed to R/3, and there is setting for statical condition or non statical condition, check with ur FI lead
    Hope u get some hint.

  • Issue in Intracompany STO with Delivery and Billing

    Dear Experts,
In Intra Company STO with Delivery and Billing, pls help to map this scenario:
During PGI Supplying plant stock a/c credited. and debited to some interim a/c.
During GR at receiving plant this interim a/c credited against the receiving plant stock a/c.
This issue mainly arose b'cause in ordinary cases during PGI itself the stock a/c value updated, even when the goods r in Stock in transit.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
During Intra company Stock trasfer below acc. entries happen:
    at the time of PGI
    movement type (641)
Stock A/c receiving plant : debit (BSX +)
Stock A/c issuing plant : credit (BSX -)
But at the time of receiving goods (GR) at receing plant:
only impact the inventory entries. No accounting entries.

  • STO with shipping and with billing, in PGI- Error Msgs- VL-608 & VL-609

    Hi..
I have generated outbound delivery in STO  with shipping and with billing process.
But, in PGI Quantity not picked and when i click PGI two error msgs came with message class-VL and message numbers 608 and 609.
VL - 608 - Delivery has not yet been putway/picked (completely)
VL - 609 - Delivery has not yet been completely processed in WM.
I think this is related to Warehouse settings.
Please help me in issuiging goods.
    Thank You.
    Govind.

your issuing storage location is warehouse managed. hence you need a transport order to move the materials from the stroage bins to the interim storage type 916 for goods issue.
Such TO is created with LT03 and need to be confirmed with LT12.  Then the status changes to picked. And subsequently you can post goods issue.
