Intermediate result between two message mappings
Hi,
we have a Scenario with an Interface mapping, which is created from two message mappings. The first one receives the source message and the second one sends the target message.
I have a trouble with finding the intermediate result between the two message mappings.
Do you have an idea, where to find it?
Thank you for your help.
hi,
the only way i think to do the same is to have a CCBPM.....
- here u should have the receive step,transformation step and a send step...
- and then go to sxmb_moni,then there go into the process engine and see the graphical view.
- here you will be able to view the intermediate result also clearly.
-we cannot do the same without a CCBPM because,in the normal method u can only see the source and target results and not the intermediated result as in the case of CCBPM

View Mapping Result between two Interface Mappings in ccBPM
Hello,
I've got a ccBPM which does two interface mappings. The second one fails. When I redo the steps manually in the Interface Mapping test mode everything works fine. Anyway, I want to get the message from the failed BPM that got out of the first interface mapping, which worked fine in the BPM as well, before entering the second.
Where can I get that message? In Monitoring I can only find messages that got sent.
Thanks for you help!
Regards,
DirkHi,
Please check in Runtime Workbench.
Go to Adapter Engine --> Component Monitoring
Now select your Adapter.
Use Filter and below you will find message ids.
select one and you can see the audit log..where your appln fails.
You can also use SXMB_MONI.
Select the message giving error and in that goto outbound tab..click on link...select view details image button...select the component with error and go to container tab of it....there you will find trace entry....where log of your error will be stored..
Hope it helps.
Best Of Luck

Generating intermediate points between two points
hi,
i want to generate the intermediate points between two specified points,is there any functionality in java that generates the intermediate points similiar to the LINEDDA in VC++/SDK.or else please to suggest a better idea of how to get this done..
thanxI'm not aware of any Java method. Here's an algorithm that I think will work for you:
Point start = new Point(...);
Point end = new Point(...);
int xDelta = (int)(start.getX() - end.getX());
int yDelta = (int)(start.getY() - end.getY());
int delta = Math.max(Math.abs(xDelta), Math.abs(yDelta));
double xIncrement = xDelta / delta;
double yIncrement = yDelta / delta;
double x = start.getX();
double y = start.getY();
for (int i = 0; i < delta; i++)
drawImage( x, y, ....);
x += xIncrement;
y += yIncrement;

Two Message Mappings in one Interface Mapping without using BPM
Hello Experts,
I have this scenario, please help me
I have to execute two mappings of which one is a java mapping and then the other is a message mapping sequentially.
The mapping is something like below
Message1 -> (java Mapping) -> Message2
Message2
Message1 -> (Message Mapping) -> Message3
Based on the value in Message2 I have to map Message1 to Message3
I am not an expert in java so please give me options that doesn't involve changing of java code.
The above 2 mappings have to be implemented in only one interface mapping.
Suggestions please.Hi Ravi!
You say message2 dependes on message1 and message3 is mapped from message1 but using also values from message2? But this means, that whole mapping dependes only on message1!
So change your mapping and use the one not based on message2, but message1. Put these as a condition in interface determination and based on these values use the correct mapping.
Peter
p.s. I'm not sure, if I got your requirement correctly, but your target message dependes only on message1 (since message2 dependes on it too), so this whole mapping can be done as 1. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to change your java part. Bur definetely, Raj is right.

One file to be sent to one of two message types.
Hi,
I have gone through many other messages but didn't get an answer. Please read the issue.
I have one file with 4 (suppose) records out of which 2 records go to one message type and the rest to other.
I have two message mappings for each message type (same basic type), one MI and two OM's.
On the confic side I have created all required paths.
When I put a file through its been picked up and in the message monitoring it shows as if they are scheduled to be sent but they are not creating any IDOC's. From past few days they are in the scheduled mode only.
Can anyone please help me. If I am not clear, I will explain in detail.
Thank you, Regards,
Mohana.Mohana,
I think there are few entries in your queues. Since I cannot understand whether it is an inbound or outbound please go to SMQ1 and SMQ2. If you see any entries check all of them and delete them. So once deleted test it once again.

Can Same IDOC be sent to same Receiver with two different Message Mappings
Hello Experts,
Wierd doubt but want to confirm from you people.
Scenario:
One R/3 Sender
SAP XI :
One external Receiver :
IDOC is sent from R/3 to external receiver via SAP XI.
One interface has already been developed for the above scenario.
Now client wants another interface to be developed for the same IDOC. Might be the values would be different for some specific fields.
Doubt:
Is it possible to send one similar IDOC to one target system with two different Message Interfaces?
Ex: Created Message Interface 'A' and correspoding Message Mapping with an IDOC
Created Message Interface 'B' and correspoding Message Mappingwith an IDOC
Values would be different in the IDOC and would be triggered from SAP R/3. Basing on the specific value of a field in the IDOC , can we trigger a different Message mapping for the same receiver?
I donot see any reason in developing a new interface for the same IDOC but as per the situation mentioned above, can it be done?
Thank you
Alex.Create two interfaces for target side.
If you want only one target interface should get data.
You can use simple interface determination. Use the condition tab and specify the field there but the value should be constant. e.g. if field has value EN it should go to First interface and if Field has value != EN it should go to second interface.
If you want to divide your message in to both target interfaces.
Multimapping also can help but only if both of your target interface need idoc data.
You can use ifexist standard node functions from UDF to choose between the field.
For multimapping you can go to messages tab in the message mapping and can add interfaces using + sign.
then when you see the design part you will see two messages.
Now Start with receiver determination in ID and create one receiver determination for the sender and receiver, this shows you have only one receiver.
In interface determination you have to choose extended and choose your mapping designed.
then both your interfaces automatically would appear.
Create two receiver agreements and one sender agreement.
thanks

Results row calculation between two column result in BEx Report.
I want to use weighted average method between two keyfigure.
for example consider the following secnario.
CH Kf1 Kf2
A 10 5
B 6 4
C 3 2
Result 19 b]4.21</b>
how 4.21 is ((105)+(64)+(3*2))/total of Kf1(ie 19)
( A value(Kf1Kf2)+ B value (Kf1Kf2) + C Value (Kf1*Kf2))/total value (Kf1) = 4.21
is it possible to achieve the above result for Kf2.
With regards,
HariHello,
I cannot able to use Excel Macro functionality since it is a drill down report and report cells varies based upon the selection parameter.
and also i can't able to use Calculation, since this report contains lot of columns and if i use the formula, one more result column i have to include in all key figures and also business users not able to understand the report....
Is it possible to create a variable structure, for example user is executing for 10 days , the structure should display for only 10 days ans also i create structure for 31 days (ie one month)..
With regards,

Message bridge between two instances
I am trying to setup messaging bridge between two instances of weblogic server.
Can the second instance belong to a different domain? If yes how to configure it?Yes, you can configure a messaging bridge to work between two WebLogic domains.
The general instructions of configuring a message bridge, including the bridge instance itself, the bridge destinations and the adapter, can be found at
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/bridge/basics.html#wp1168461
The only extra thing that you may need to take care of for the cross-domain case is to configure cross-domain security as instructed at
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/bridge/wls_interop.html#wp1126873

Is there a way to sync past messages from my old iPhone to my iPhone 5 ? I'm aware of the iTunes backup syncing but how would I transfer that between two devices ?
Restore from old iPhone backup can past all data including messages to your new iPhone. Or you can resfer to this iPhone 4/4S SMS to iPhone 5 transfer tutorial. It shows you how to transfer messages only.

How exchange messages between two user-bean instances?
Hi,
I would like to let several user to log-in my web site (I'm using tomcat) and then let them exchange some messages until they are logged-in. Is there a way using JSF?
I was thinking about implementing a list of messages inside each user-bean. The user should know that other users are logged-in, that could be listed in a table, and click on its name. I would like that the click action create an item in the list valiable of the selected user. Is that possible using JSF? I didn't find any of such kind of communication between two user-bean instances.
Do you have any hints? Is that the right way or is there other possibilities?
ThanksYou could get hold of a map of sessions in the application scope. Make use of HttpSessionListener to add/remove sessions to/from the map.
JSF is just another component based MVC framework on top of JSP/Servlet. Everything which you can do in JSP/Servlet is just still possible. You only need to understand how JSF works under the hood. -

Your tunnel is up and encrypting traffic one way, the other end is not able to encrypt the traffic.
I would suggest to do a 'clear xlate'? Sometimes if you setup the nonat configuration after you've attempted other configurations, you need to 'clear xlate' before the previous NAT configuration is cleared and the new one works.

Go URL linking between two reports with no relation
Hi Experts,
Sorry this question may have been asked numerous times, but I was not able to fetch the required response.
I have two reports Repor1 based on Table 1 having columns A and B, Report2 based on Table2 having columns C and D.
First is it possible to create a go URL moving between two reports based on tables having no replationship between them?
My requirement is to create a hyperlink on column B in Report1 so that when a user clicks on the hyperlink it takes you to report2 and filters report2 column C using values of Table1 coulmn A. Table1 and Table2 have no relationship between them.
Thanks in advance,
AnuraI had two columns in my report1 first being market and second being a measure value, i provided the following link in the formula for my measure value and made that as HTML data format, my Report2 contains the market column with one more additional coloumn and i want my second report to be filtered based on Market value in Report1.
I don't know why but the URL that is being displayed here is not the actual url, please click on the URL to knowthe complete url that I mentioned for the formula
'’||CAST(Sales Measures.Dollars AS CHAR)||’'
The value of Market.Region is not being passed correctly as my Report2 gives the following message in the results view when i move from Report1 to Report2 via the hyperlink
Region is equal to '||Markets.Region||'style="text-decoration:none;
Please suggest what is going wrong?
Thanks in advance,

How to Calculate number of months between two dates
Hi All,
In one of the fomr developments, I have to calculate the
Number of Days
Number of Months ( Considering Leap Year) provided by the dates, end user enters in the form,
After going thorugh some forum discussion, I have come to know about so many things which were not clear till now.
I have gone through various forums too, some one suggets to make use of FORM CALC and some other JAVA SCRIPT. But the logic i want to build in java script.
The most interesting point is the DATE object is not getting created when i write the below code
var startDate = new DATE(oYear, oMonth, oDay);
I am still not clear, that really the date object gets created in Adobe form If so the why the alert box is getting populated when i write below lines
var oTemp = startDate.getFullYear();
xfa.host.messagebox(oTemp);
So, there are so many unclear things,
If any one can help me by suggesting the approach and how to build the logic in the JavaScript I would be really thankful
Regards

Hi
I want number of Sundays between two dates
example
number of Sundays count between '01-04-2013' and '30-04-2013' in one select query I have to include this as sub query in my select statement.Here's one way:
SELECT early_date
, late_date
, ( TRUNC (late_date + 1, 'IW')
- TRUNC (early_date, 'IW')
) / 7 AS sundays
FROM table_x
;This does not depend on your NLS settings.
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only), and also post the results you want from that data.
Point out where the statment above is getting the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get the right results from the given data in those places.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g., 11.2.0.2.0).

How to compare between two versions of template project???
Dear All,
We are doing some cleanup activity in our solution manager system. For this actually we have created the replica of this project from production system to a sandbox system. We can do the cleanup of this project and can transport this new project to our production system and can move on.
But the pbm we are facing now is, how do we bring in the data captured or added to the production system after we have copied it to the sandbox system?
Can anybody throw in some light into this issue?
We tried the option of creating different version for the template and using the sa_project_upgrade transaction to compare between two versions of the template using "Current Version in Project" option. Not sure whether this will work out.
{{We thought that if we try in this way, we can find the difference between the two versions of the template project, and from there, might be we can bring in the new changes into our new project manually. We do agree that this is not the right approach.}}
But the end result we got was like we got the information regarding where all there is the difference between the current version in the template project to that of the original(in our case it checked against BPR as we selected the scenarios from BPR for this template). But what we expected was a difference between two versions of the template.
Pls help. Pls make a try to help. Any thoughts in this direction will help us to move forward.
Any info will be suitably rewarded.
best regards,
Krishna.Hi Andreas,
Thanks a lot for your immediate reply.
I too had that doubt that my appraoch will not work. But wanted to get confirmation that it will not work. Also wanted to know about any other approach. Thank you for providing me with some alternative approach.
I tried the option suggested by you. But while running the comparison report for the newly copied project with the option "New Version of Original", I am getting the below error. I do agree that this approach should work. But for some reason I am getting the below error. Can you pls look into the same and help me out.
