Intermittent nano...PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2GB Nano that was purchased last November. I experienced problems with it this summer, but when I spoke to the staff at the Apple store, in Toronto, they told me restoring the ipod to its factory settings should fix the issues (it wouldn't play certain songs, and was not recognized by itunes).
However, as I was in Toronto on a work term, I waited until I was home in Halifax before restoring it, as I did not have access to my songs.
Now, one week later, I have been experiencing constant problems. While playing, the click wheel appears to freeze, and no buttons will work (but the song will keep playing). It often takes two or three tries to reset it as well. This will happen a couple times a day.
Do I have any recourse besides enacting the warranty?

    It is working through your iPhone 6 through the Continuity feature. This allows any device that is logged in to your Apple ID and connected to the same WiFi network to make and receive calls through your iPhone. If this is not useful to you go to the settings for Facetime and turn off iPhone cellular calls.

  • Non responding nano please help!!

    I accidentally unpluged my nano(1st generation) from my computer without ejecting it first and it froze on the apple screen for a few minutes and then went dead, I couldn't get it to turn on again.I plugged it back into my computer and the apple screen flashed on and off about 4 times and then it went dead again. Now it doesn't respond at all to my computer, it won't connect to iTunes, charge or anything it is completely dead. I tried doing everything it says to do in the troubleshooting. I even tried holding the center button and the menu button at the same time for 6-10 seconds but nothing.I would try restoring it but I can't get my computer to recognize it at all.Im pretty sure it's my nano and not my USB cable too.Please Help!

    Have you tried this?:
    -- Try toggling the Hold switch. Flip the "Hold" switch on your iPod (located on the top) back and forth several times.
    If a "regular toggling" doesn't seem to do anything, try this:
    1 - Connect your iPod to your computer.
    2 - Now begin to rapidly toggle the "Hold" switch back and forth while your iPod is connected.
    3 - After you've done that for a little bit, eject the iPod if needed, then disconnect it from your computer.

  • After installing Adobe Flash Player Plugin to view videos on youtube, mozilla gets hangs intermittently. Please help

    I installed Firefox 23.0.1 and after that It asked me to install Flash Player Plugin to view videos on Youtbe. I installed Flash Player 11 Plugin and since then Mozilla started hanging/freezing intermittently. It hangs on those websites also where videos are not running.
    I uninstalled Flash Player 11 Plugin and it works smoothly without it.

    This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common reasons for Flash problems in Firefox:
    (1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
    (2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
    (A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
    orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

  • Never used itunes before, have downloaded a song onto laptop but cant get it in ipod nano please help

    New to itunes managed to download a song to laptop but cant get on to ipod nano(plugged into laptop) or iphone or ipad

    I have sorted it myself!!
    Ipod is now in the top right corner, last time I clicked on it, it ejected it but by clicking on the actual ipod icon then it brings up your ipod. I restored it to factory settings and synced all my music and it now works again. Hope this can help anyone who ends up with the same problem.

  • Damaged batterry? Wet i-pod nano- PLEASE HELP!

    I know there is already loads of topics like this but please here me out. I recently got i-pod wet. I tried to turn it on immediately-which I now know I shouldn't have! It said it was charging-which it obviously wasn't! so I turned it off and let it dry out. Now 5 days later it won't turn on. I've plugged it in to my computer and tried to reset it but all that is happening is picture of the battery with a triangle exclamation mark over it is flashing on the screen.
    Is the battery dead? It is less than a year old, is it covered under warranty (I'm guessing not!) Is it just the battery? Could I get a new one?

    I can guaranty you, its more than just the battery. If you've ever seen pictures of a discected nano, there are electronic components to the wheel. It's pretty much ruined. Need to buy a new one.

  • Trouble With Putting Music on New Ipod Nano PLEASE HELP

    I Have had my new ipod nano now since christmas and i still havnt figuered out how to put music on it.
    When i try to download the new Itunes of apple, it says that it cannt complete downloading because i do not have the priviliges even though i am on the administrators account. If i go on my old itunes my new ipod does not apear on the left for me to put music on, Any Suggestions ?? Please!:)

    Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions. 
    Try using a USB2 port. If you are already using a USB2 port disconnect any USB1 devices on that port (i.e. if it's got a hub on it).

    I think I phrased my question incorrectly.  I did know how to sync the ipod...or at least i was able to figure that portion out.  What is happening is that Itunes says that my book was recently added however, I don't see it on my device.  I've checked under artists and all the other categories because others have told me that often audiobooks don't actually get into the audiobook genre but can be found on the device in other categories.  No dice for me!  Now I'm reading in the forum that the extension may be prohibiting me from seeing it.  Someone has  script for it but only for MACS...need one for PC to change the extension.  I think ITunes *****.  I moved from Zune for my husband because he listens to audiobooks and Zune wasn't keeping up but it sure was a lot easier and user friendly!!  Know anything about changing extensions on Windows 7 64 bit?  Or on XP which my husband is still running?

    ok i just got an ipod nano, and finally set up itunes. anyways my question is that its saying that all my memory is taken up by photos, but they arent showing up on my ipod, and it will only allow me to put on 46 songs when i have 8GB. how do i get the pics off my ipod or itunes???

    well its still saying that my ipod is full, and not of songs... ya know how there are 3 different colors blue for music, orange i guess for photos, and white for free space? well mine is full of orange, and it wont allow me to put anymore songs on cause it says the memory is full

  • OMG Please help me - my itunes stops playing after 2 tracks

    Someone please help me.....I have recently been downloading a couple of albums from the internet and drop and dragging them into my itunes. I have done this about 3 times succesfully and itunes plays these no problem. Since last week, I have been trying to play my itunes, then all of a sudden, the sounds stops. The play bar at the top keeps going, but for some reason, the whole of the sound stops. Nothing out of my speakers. This happens every time! I have unistalled itunes and reinstalled it to the new version (I think I was on version 7.0.1 in any case) I have defraged, disk cleaned, reinstalled my itunes library manually....OMG everything I have done! I have tried to install an older version (to the one I was on already) and it still happpens. I have no idea what the **** to do - I have never had this problem before. I did a virus scan only the other day and I did have viruses on my pc, but they have been removed. On the version of itunes I have at the moment, it won't even recognise my ipod (2nd gen 4gb Nano) Please help me!!! I can't even find a bloomin number for apple either and I am going to throw myself and the pc and itunes out of the window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Somehow my entire itunes library got deleted ... I have the old ipod nano, which does not connect with iCloud so it has all been saved there, BUT .. I cannot load all my music that I put on and I no longer have the cd's PLEASE HELP!!!!

    PLEASE HELP!!!  Somehow my entire iTunes library got deleted, and I cannot sync all my music that I put on from cd's (which I no longer have). All the purchased music has been synced, but nothing else! All my other devices are synced with iCloud and lost the material as well ... I am so frustrated, because the nano has not been working properly, and I am afraid of losing it forever, and of course the cd's I backed everything with are MIA!!!! GRRR! Please HELP!!!

    I can't tell from your post what you have and what you don't have. Are you saying the files are no longer on your computer, no longer on your iPod, or both?
