Internal 500 when accessing OAS 10g

Hi all,
I have installed and configured my custom application on OAS 10g.
-If I hit my web page using the IP (i.e: http://192.168.1.1:777/ISRA) from a remote workstation, I will see the login page. After entering the credential and click login I get the Internal 500 ERROR. Note: When I get the Internal 500 Error, the IP from the URL had become the OAS name (i.e:http://oas10g:7777/web/search.jsp). And I also have an entry of the OAS in my hosts file.
-If I hit the webpage using the server name (i.e: http://oas10g:7777/ISRA).Everything is working fine. After I click login, the server name does not get translated back to the IP address.
NOTE:
-If I run these two tests on the actual Application Server. Everything is working fine.

hi if you've got the following message when you start your proxy in a console :
http://unknown started
this is normal. You should have a problem with your dns (/etc/resolv.conf)

Hi,
The program which is running as background was running for last 1 year, last two days the RFC call in the program is dumping.
In DUMP its showing Internal error when accessing a table
Error : DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
I checed the size of the table its quite huge for the application.
So there is no issue with table.
Please advise what causes these sort of error.
System is ECC 6.0
With SQL server 8.0

SM58 : Internal error when accessing a table

Hi there,
We have just upgraded from R/3 4.7 to ECC 6.0. After the upgarde we face many "Internal error when accessing a table" in sm58. Is there any table mapping mismatched happened during unicode conversions? How to check the details? Most of the errors are SWW_WI_EXECUTE_INTERNAL_RFC, SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF and etc which are workflow modules.

Error 500 when accessing View rights option in CMC XI3.1

My customer has installed bo XI3.1 with web sphére serated in an other server, when he want to access view rights in CMC section, he received "error 500 :" he is using QWAS like a web server in a separete server without any fire wall.

Error when installing OAS 10g 10.1.2.0.2 Middle Tier on SUSE linux 10.3

I have installed the infrastructure successfully but when I install the Middle Tier (in it's separate home) the installer gets up to 88% and then displays the error:

The OS is SUSE 10.3. I know it's not certified.
It looks to me that the make utility does not know how to handle the '-nsl' option.
Is there a workaround for this error?
I hope some one has an idea as I have searched the forums and google without much success.

Correct me if I am wrong but you have set up SLED SP1 connecting to an OS like (RHEL 4/OEL 4,SuSE 9) using VMWare Server. What OS is SLED?
I chose SUSE 10.3 as its free and I want to set up apps server for purely training purposes. Do you know of a free linux OS that is certified to run AS 10g 10.1.2.0.2?

Getting HTTP 403/500 errors when accessing SharePoint 2010 pages

Hi,
I'm getting intermittent HTTP 403/500 errors when accessing SharePoint Foundation 2010 pages.
When it happens, any SharePoint pages I access I get a HTTP 403 error (example: /sites/test/default.aspx) . If I don't specify a page, I get a HTTP 500 error (example: /sites/test/). What's odd is that I have non-SharePoint .NET applications running on the
same server under the "_layouts" directory and those still work just fine.
After recycling the IIS application pool, it starts to work again, but sometime won't stay up very long.
Does anyone encounter this problem before?

Also, I'm hoping to understand what the "Microsoft.SharePoint.Library.SPRequest.GetFileAndMetaInfo" method does to help me track down this issue. If you have any info on what the above method is doing, I really appreciated.

500 Internal error when installing the portalTools

Hi all,
After installing Oracle 9i portalTools in Windows 2000 system. We meet an Internal 500 error when loging in the http://...:7778/portalTool. That seems some files been not copied to the right folder.
We have two Oracle 9i folder, one is: D:\Oracle9iAS for Oracle 9i AS instance and another one D:\Oracle9iASPortal for Oracle 9i Portal instance.
I am not sure which one is the $Install_Path which mentioned in the portalTools installation guide?

Fixed. It is a version problem.
For the version of 9iAS, we must use the portalTools version 9.0.2

Internal Server error coming when accessing MSDN forum

I keep getting below error when accessing forum or refreshing forum pages. I can see from
this thread that such issue was there couple of years back
This error is coming again. And is very frequent but when same page is refreshed couple of times page loads properly.

SP 2010 - Getting "An unexpected error has occurred. " message when accessing Sharepoint site after windows update - Windows 7 Home Premium

Hi,
I am new to SP 2010. I have installed Share point 2010 server (trial version) on my Windows 7 Home Premium Laptop by following the below link.

Everything went fine and was able to see the new sharepoint site after completing configuration wizard. SP2010 Central Admin also worked fine.
However, after windows update, sharepoint site is not working. I was able to see the site working for more than a day before windows update. SP2010 Central Admin is still working. Executed "PSCONFIG" after
update but still no good.
I saw a warning "The Security Token Service is not available" in Central Admin and did some research to fix the issue but nothing worked.

Internal 500 error after installing RS Add-in on multiple WFE Sharepoint environment

I'm trying to install SSRS SQL Server 2012 SP1 with
SharePoint integrated mode on a SharePoint 2013farm with 4 WFE and a dedicated
app server. I have cloned our production system and have been able to make
everything run twice but after multiple installs. I have tried to note down the
errors and after checking them off my (mostly permissions, one content DB was
read-only), I am able to run the installers (Reporting Services - SharePoint on
the app server and Reporting Services Add-in on the web frontends) without
errors.
Unfortunately, although there are no errors on the logs and even
if I can access Central Administration on the app server and configure the
Reporting Services service, the RS Add-in messes up the web.config file of our
web application and I get an internal 500 error on the client browser. When
logging IIS, the error is 500.19 which looks to be an invalid web.config file.
So to test this, I try replacing the web.config file before the install (with no
references to Reporting Services) and the site loads. Uninstalling the RS Add-in
also fixes the site but even after trying to reinstall it (either with the SQL
Server 2012 SP1 installer media or the rsSharepoint.msi file), the site won't
work again.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Use “Get-SPServiceApplicationPool | Select Id,Name” to find the GUID of the SQL Server Reporting Services Service Application pool.
Then, check service application settings in IIS. Click on GUID created for RS and check the physical path C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\WebServices\Reporting. Make sure that you are able to find the path in your
file system.
If not, the Shared Feature(Reporting Service- SharePoint) may not install properly. Try reinstalling shared feature (reporting service – SharePoint) and reporting services add in.
Also, check RS Logs in the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\WebServices\LogFiles and ULS Logs in the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\15\LOGS.

I have performed following steps to overcome the problem :
This is what i have done on the first attempt :
1) replaced port 80 by 7777 in webcache.xml
2) added 'Listen 7777' in httpd.conf
3) restarted opmn
Following steps done on the second attempt :
1) replaced port 80 by 7779 in webcache.xml
2) added 'Listen 7779' in httpd.conf
3) restarted opmn
My webcache and webcacheadmin shows down in the opmnctl status.
Both above attempts were unsuccesful, Please support with a solution to above issue. We are on Windows 2003 R2, OAS 10g r2 (10.1.2.0.2). My webcache has been down for past 3 days and one thing i have noticed is that it is not writing any logs to $ORACLE_HOME\webcache\access_log. Access_log file was way too long when i checked 2 days ago so i moved the access log to a different location and re-created access_log by editing webcache.xml, i dont understand whether existing problem is due to port conflict or it is an issue with webcache unable to write to access_log. The current size of access_log is zero.
