Invalid or no content repository specified error

Dear Oracle Team,
When am saving documents in PCM 14.  Getting error showing above. I have configured the File Server mode for this project.
How to eradicate this issues, looking immediate support from your side.
Thanks & Regards,
Sheik Shabiulla

Make sure that you have "version" unchecked as this requires the configuration/setup of repository to use.  If you have just the File Server method and no repository the versioning will cause errors when attempting to save documents.

That documentation link is internal to Oracle.
If you are using a non-public build, you should ask in the internal forum that I suppose to exist.
If you are using a public build, can you post a link to the public docs (start from http://docs.oracle.com)?

  • Content repository error

    Hi,
We are trying to archive printlists from SAP to Opentext archive server. I've completed the setup in the OpenText Archive server and have created a content repository in SAP (OAC1). I encounter the error 'HTTP error: 401 Unauthorized  The signed URL is invalid, missing parameter secKey in create&pVersion=0045&contRep=DL&docId=53691' everytime I run the ARCHIVELINK (program - ILQBATCH) job in SAP.
For some reason, I am not able to gather any furhter information on the error neither from SAP nor from Opentext. Although the topic verify url secKeY sheds some light on the usage of Seckeys, I dont find it to be of any use to my problem and hence the post here. Pls let me know your thoughts and thanks very much for your time.
P.S: I've created the output device (ARPL) to archive the printlists and it does not seem to be the problem.
    Regards,

in OAC0 There is a part where you define the dll something   archive.dll or something. You have to correct that part.

    Thanks Asheoran.
However the issue was with my Ora Inventory file OraInst.loc. I had actually installed 11.2.0.2 database on the same machine and as same user, and for that db I had a different OraInst.loc file. When I give the same OraInst.loc file for the EM install too, the error goes away. It seems we just need to have one Inventory file for both installations.

  • HTTP error for content repository

    Dear gurus,
we defined a content repository to store images (Employee photos) in our HR instance (ECC 6). we set customizing for Sap Archive Link and "document type" (HRICOLFOTO). We followed suggestions of this link: [http://www.sd-solutions.com/documents/SDS_Employee_Photos_v4.7.html|http://www.sd-solutions.com/documents/SDS_Employee_Photos_v4.7.html].  When we try to store an image (JPG file) using OAAD transaction code we get "HTTP error: 500 Internal Server Error". Again using CSADMIN transaction code to test HTTP server assigned to content repository we get the same message. Work process trace file is attached below. Thanks for your help.

Theres a button beside CSADMIN that looks like a balance. You can use that to check... but as it is a R/3 Database repository it might not be there.
    Now, you said
When we try to store an image (JPG file) using OAAD transaction code we get "HTTP error: 500 Internal Server Error". Again using CSADMIN transaction code to test HTTP server assigned to content repository
How can you be calling a HTTP repository when you are actually storing the data in the R/3 Database? That doesn't make sense to me.
Can you explain your full landscape?
    regards
    Juan

  • Content repository does not exist

    Hi,
Kindly see the way we are creating the SAP content repository pointing to an external content repository which is our own DMS server. Our server is returning the success status in CSAdmin.  But customizing is being shown as missing.
When I click on Test Connection, then I get the error CMS 106 content repository does not exist.
It seems as the content repository created by us is visible in the content repository list, entry is there in TOAAR table too, still somehow SAP system thinks that it doesnt exist.
We are working by logging into quality testing client.  Kindly suggest do we need to login into customizing client to solve this problem. And also suggest is transporting necessary to complete the content repository creation.
Is it related to contentserver.ini file, do we need to see whether there's entry in it.
    Kindly help.
    With Regards
    Neha

in customizing  of the archiving object is a field where you specify an indicator for the content repository.
(go SARA -enter archiving object - click customizing button - click technial settings)
As archiving objects are customized in DEV and transported to PRD systems,  here often an indicator for the DEV content repository is transported to PRD.
But usually you dont have customizing for the DEV conentent repository in PRD to avoid that you write into the wrong content repository.

    Hi Khaiser,
You need to do the following,
    In CSADMIN got to setting.
Add the parameter : Driver = MaxDB
Restart the system and check it should work.

You need to supply the "Key Store Location", "Key Store Password", "Private Key Alias" and "Private Key Password' to use socketssl.
Also please make sure that the content server has enabled "Use SSL". You can configure it using the enterprise manager.

  • Content Server - HTTP Error 400

Good morning. I've just installed Apache and Content Server. I've created my Content Repositories in SAP and everything checks out Online in CSADMIN and via SE38 - Report RSCMST.
However, from the Browser when I enter: http://<hostname>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverinfo
I'm getting an HTTP 400 page not found error.
This is installed on Unix - AIX 5.3 - Content Server Version 6.30
Apache is working as I get a web page and I get the "Parent" directory when I enter only: http://<hostname>:1090
    Any ideas ?

Our Content Server is installed on a Standalone system. It's not on the same host as the SAP systems we're connecting to.
Yes, I'm able to create Content repositories and that's how I have them defined in CSADMIN. I created the CR's in OAC0 and then specified them in CSADMIN and done further configuration to them there. Our users have been able to use the CR defined in CSADMIN to archive data into the Content Server.
My CDADMIN definition is online, active and working,,, All green lights and being used. So I'm getting my error when I attempt
    to access via http://<ContenServer_Hostname>:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverinfo.
Here's my CDADMIN definistion for My CR:
    Content Repository: CS
HTTP Server: sap01dad.<client>.com   This is my Content Server Hostname,,, Not the SAP system where it's defined in CSADMIN
    Port: 1090
    HTTP Script: ContentServer/ContentServer.dll
    Version: 0046

  • How to fetch mpg file from content repository

    Hi All,
I have uploaded a mpg(video) file in content repositoy. But I am not able to fetch
it and display it using embed tag.
is anybody aware of a right method to do the same?
    Thanks in advance.

I was thinking there might be a difference in how the browser handles a
path with a space when typed into the address bar vs. how the browser
plugin/activex-object handles a path with a space when it gets it from
    the <param> or <embed> tag.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what's going on. How content displays on
someone's computer mostly depends on the persons's computer, how it's
configured, what's installed, etc. If you can get the Node's BinaryValue
from the WLP server and it has the correct ContentType and the correct
bytes, then, at that point, WLP is no longer really involved.
Do PDFs, word docs, audio, shockwave, and other binary media types
stored in a WLP content repository display correctly with
    <object><embed> tags in your browser?

    Hi Gregory Smith,
There is no problem with path at all. The same path if I write in address bar
of browser it opens a widows media player and plays the video file.
    Pls suggest.

See if using a path of
    http://etgjw4:7001/JWWebApp/ShowBinary/BEA+Repository/Ads/AdsPopup/ad1//image
(note the + between BEA and Repository) changes anything. If so, you
    can
    use the com.bea.content.manager.ContentHelper.pathInfoEncode() method
    to
    URLEncode the node path, e.g.
    http://etgjw4:7001<%=request.getContextPath()%>/ShowBinary<%=ContentHelper.pathInfoEncode(node.getPath())%>//image
or, the <cm:getProperty> tag supports this automatically, e.g:
    http://etgjw4:7001<%=request.getContextPath()%>/ShowBinary<cm:getProperty
    name="cm_path" node=<%=node%> conversionType="url"/>//image
(You might need to double check that code in workshop to make sure it
    compiles).

    Hi Gregory,
When I type the repository path //property name in the browser's addressbook,
It opens a windows media player and plays the video file.
But when I copy the same path and paste it in embed/object tag it justloads up
a windows media player. When I see the error details it says "Cannotopen. Please
verify that the path and filename are correct and try again." Thereis a advanced
button on error window clicking on that it shows "The specified streamtype is
    not recognized. (Error=C00D07E2)
Cannot open. Please verify that the path and filename are correctand try again.
    (Error=C00D07E2)".
can you give me a solution on this?
The HTML code that I have written is attached to this query.
    Thanks alot,

First, make sure the BinaryValue of the property of the Node has the
correct content-type (should be video/mpeg, or similar). This can be
    in
    1 of the following ways:
    1. Look in the BLOB_CONTENT_TYPE column of the CM_PROPERTY table.
    2. Get the Node (e.g. with <cm:getNode>), then get the BinaryValue
    (with
<cm:getProperty>), and call the getContentType() method of the BinaryValue.
    3. Show the ShowBinaryServlet on the Node in the browser and see what
your browser does. The URL would probably be something like
    http://<server>:<port>/<webapp>/ShowBinary/<path to node>, e.g.
    http://localhost:7001/sampleportal/ShowBinary/BEA+Repository/mynode.
    You
can bring up the properties for that in IE, or Page Info (Ctrl-I) in
Mozilla; that should tell you the content type the browser received.
If it's not something like video/mpeg, then that's why it's not working.
Make sure you browser has support of mpegs in <embed> by creating a
simple html file with an <embed> to an mpeg file (don't use the server
at all). If that works and the content-type of the node is correct, you
should be to create an html file with an <embed> to the URL in #3 above,
    e.g.
    <embed
    src="http://localhost:7001/sampleportal/ShowBinary/BEA+Repository/mynmode">
    </embed>
If that works, make sure your jsp is generating the correct HTML.
