Invalid Task Node Error

Hi All,
i have configured a scenario in DOE, when i do delta download, No error/dump in backend and mobile server, but in Monioring --> Logs and Traces --> Backend Integration --> my SWCV is showing Ended with error --> Invalid Task, Node MY_HDR_STR.
When i do CLEANUP the DOE and do delta downlad the very first time it says ended with success, from second time onwards it says Ended with error --> Invalid Task. Node .
how to reslove this problem? kindly help me out.

Hello Boopalan,
Please apply note 1319896 to see entries in message monitoring which caused the INV_TASK issue. The problem might occur because backend might be pushing delete for MY_HDR_STR which does not exist in middleware. Please check in message monitoring for exact problem description.

I cant select the composite for approval workflow.
I can see the composite as "Active" in soa-infra and it is shown in the search box when selecting the composite to be used in approval policies.

For this check the OIMFrontEndURL in oim-config.xml and see if your front end url does not have a port. This issue would come up if the port is missing. Even if you are using any load balancer (which is on port 80) in front of OIM, then you can use it as http://lbUrl:80 to fix this issue.
Basically the OIM code is expecting a port in the oimFrontEndUrl for this to work.
If you talk to Oracle via SR then you can refer to bug: 16409132 which is fixed in 11gR2PS2

Invalid Project ID error in TIMECARD

I am trying to configure the Project and Task valusets for the first and segment column on the time card.
We do not want to use Oracle Projects so I am trying to use the “Project Accounting” screen to create some projects and tasks.
I have created 2 valuesets for project and task.
1. select name, id from HXT_PROJECTS hp
2. select name , id from HXT_TASKS ht
I have configured the preferences for OTL.
Once I access the timecard through the Timekeeper responsibility and the columns for Project and task are displayed with the proper values from the valueset.
But when I try to submit the timecard I am getting an error saying “Invalid Project” and “Invalid Task”.

Error is coming because you are using the non project custom values but the mapping compoents used are still referring to the project context and trying to verify the custom info against project tables. You will have to change your alternate name mapping also.

This is a directory issue that Disk Utility cannot fix. Although it manifests itself as a software issue sometimes it may be hardware based. See DiskUtility reports "Underlying task reported failure" when repairing avolume http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1901?viewlocale=en_US". You can try using a utility like TechTool Pro, Drive Genius or Disk Warrior to repair and replace the directory. Another option would be to use the Archive and Install feature to reinstall. If the problem returns after correction you may have a failing or failed HDD.

Invalid node error

So by now, I've figured out that I probably need a new hard drive. But here's the real issue. I haven't backed up my hard drive in quite sometime. It's been too long for me to just wipe my hard drive. I need it backed up immediately. I tried backing it up in disk utility, but the back up only gets so far then an error message pops up, telling me that the back up could not be finished because of an in/out error. My question is, how do I go about getting all the files on that hard drive onto another? What programs will work? What should I do? Also, I ran disk repair. It says it can not fix the issue.

It's not possible to answer that, I'm afraid. I have a nasty feeling that it's a lot worse than one corrupted file. An 'invalid node' error' means that the Directrory (which is the index which tells the computer where to look for files) is corrupted. It doesn't necessarily mean that any files are corrupted, but if the Directory isn't working then the computer doesn't know where anything is and can't boot or access the files. There's a good chance - though not a complete one - that DiskWarrior can fix this if that's all it is, but it costs $99.99. It scans the disk and builds a completely new directory, replacing the old one rather than trying to repair it as Disk Utility does. It is a useful program to have around anyway.
An i/o error is a failure to read something, which could simply be the result of the Directory problem, though it's possible that there might be other problems. If there's a sector or other physical failure with the disk then it's much less likely you will be able to access the data yourself.

I'm afraid that's unlikely. There's no magic way of increasing the likelihood of booting.
Your best hope is probably DiskWarrior (I have no connection with this firm); if it works then it's money well spent, but of course if it doesn't it's an added expense on top of any replacement disk.
And when you get this sorted out do institute a strong backup regime. Not backing up will inevitably eventually lead to the situation you now find yourself in. It's an area where paranoia pays. I maintain several different backups, including online for important data, Time Machine, and a couple of clones.

Invalid Node Error: What does this mean?

I have a white Macbook I purchased in September of last year, so the hardware warranty is still active. I did not purchase any extended care warranty, but am considering it now...
This past Monday, I was using my computer at one work site, then had to go to another. I shut it down, and when I got to my next destination (roughly 15 minutes later) I tried to power it up. I got the gray screen with the apple, the little wheel spinning below it, and after about two minutes of that, it shut down. That's all it has done since. It was working perfectly until then, as far as I could tell.
I have tried resetting the PRAM, taking out the battery and holding the power button down, running a hardware check, and booting from the installation disk. The hardware check said it detected no problems, but the disk utility consistently finds an Invalid Node error, and can't repair the disk. I can't verify either, for the same reasons.
Of course, I have nothing backed up. I would like to recover my data if possible, but I'd rather have a working computer with everything lost than neither. I have an appointment at a Genius Bar for tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what this might be.

Disk Warrior can repair the invalid node problem if it's not extensive. However, if DW is unable to repair the disk, then reformatting would be your only other option.
If you have a backup clone from which you can boot the computer then you can update the backup of your data files before reformatting the drive. If you don't have a backup (which you should,) then the following would be an option:
If you have access to another Mac with FireWire, then you can use Target Disk Mode to access the drive and backup your data files, provided the drive is accessible.

Does it boot to Single User Mode, CMD+s keys at bootup, if so try...
/sbin/fsck -fy
Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.
(Space between fsck AND -fy important).

Please let me know if you see multiple rows in BPM_CUBE_PROCESS table with compositeName column value "SendAndReceiveBPM", and with status column value 1. If so, then then you can update the status column value to -1 for all those rows. Then deploy the process again. You should be able to log into Workspace.
If you dont see multiple rows in BPM_CUBE_PROCESS table with compositeName column value "SendAndReceiveBPM", and with status column value 1, then please let me know.

TechTool 4 Volume test and "invalid leaf node"

Just a "heads up". I just installed TechTool 4 and ran the usual diagnostics as a level-set. I was surprised to discover that I had two volumes with invalid leaf nodes. To make a long story short, the discussion with TT support revealed that there's apparently nothing wrong with my drives. They've both been re-formatted, surface scanned, repaired, etc. I've never had any errors from either of them. One is a Seagate 250GB and the other is a WD 160GB. TT support asked to borrow one of my drives for a couple weeks(!) because they think it's a bug and can't reproduce it. Disk Utility says there's nothing wrong. Take Volume Scan leaf node errors reported by TT4 with about a pound of salt, since the bug is still there (and will be, since I can't live without the drive for weeks and they won't buy it). I'm reporting it here, because they suppressed the majority of our discussion on their forum and I don't particularly approve of them hiding a known bug from customers. I have the TT logs and anyone who wants to see them can just ask, BTW. This isn't a vendetta against them so much as an attempt to spare others the 2 days of lost work I experienced while running various things for TT support, all to find out that I'm not the one with the problem.

Oh Yeah, that I know. I run two intermediate backups and a full clone daily. The awkward thing is that one of the drives is my "snapshot backup" drive, naturally. They swear that they've only had one other report of this and it went away with a reformat. Mine did not. You'd think that a reformat and surface scan would reveal a hard, repeatable, drive error - which TT4 implies I have. What are the odds that I have two drives with a totally unique problem (such as they described it), made by different manufacturers, with hard and repeatable errors that only their program can detect? SMART says they're OK, Disk Utility says they're OK, no errors are logged, their temperatures are the same. If this error is so rare, how is it that I just happen to have it on 50% of my drives? It's been a Royal Pain to re-jigger my drives so that the backups go to a drive that doesn't have the "error", just in case.

Download Helper, even with paid converter upgrade, gives "Invalid Capture File" errors and will not record audio, with "File Creation Error - Unable to rename/copy audio file" Error.

Download Helper Screen Capture worked to capture video if the default "no audio" option is active. But, no audio. The "speakers" or "microphone" audio options are confusing....the audio to be captured is from the video, so what do you choose? With either "speakers" or "microphone" selected, the captured file has poor audio and no video. Re-capture efforts (speakers) get "Invalid capture file error" and "File Creation error- Unable to rename/copy audio file"
The paid upgrade of "Converter" doesn't work.
Instructive documentation - not very good.
Suggestions - Need time delay between initiation of "Record" and starting the video to be recorded.
Could use timer tracking of the record process.
Are there operating system limitations? (Have Windows XP Pro)

Invalid Cursor Position Error

Help!
I am using JRun3.1 and developing a web interface to a database. In this particular screen, I am using CachedRowSet (I downloaded this and added it to jrun classpath). I am getting "Invalid cursor position" error.
I feel there is a problem with the usebean tag.

Invalid Key code Error while installing crystal report server 11

While installing crystal report server 11,i am facing an erro which says Invalid Key code Error.I had raised this issue to SAP customer support and attaching the conversation that we had.PLEASE HELP me to resolve the issue.

You did not purchase these licenses for Crystal Reports Server, but purchased it for Crystal Reports and a 5-named user license for Crystal Reports was included as a special offer. The software included was version XIR2, but you elected to use version XI instead and received key .
You would need to enroll the licenses in maintenance if you want to upgrade them.

Moreover, there are two ways for Crystal Report customer to get support.
One is customer with bundled product such like BOE and under maintenance. These customers will have an S-user ID and password to log a case in service market place via http://service.sap.com/message
A learning map was provided, listed on left column.
The other is customer with only Crystal report product, the support is via SDN.

We have bought licensed Crystal Reports Server 11 near by 2006.We are trying to install the crystal server but while installing ,we have encountered with an error message that:-

By design, the product is not able to be installed under the superuser account.
1. Create a new user and specify a home directory for the user without a quota set.
2. Copy or move the installation files to a directory that the new user can read. I suggest you move the installation files directly into the new user's home directory.
3. Logon as the new user (or su - newuser)
4. run the installation shell script using that new user's account.
NOTE: Ensure the system meets the requirements from the supported platforms documents.

Post the SQL you success run directly on Studio together with error message (even if is the Invalid column index error).
Check there if the parameters case is working properly... Is it really this confusing options:
p_GJAHR
S_BUKRS
p_base_ledger
Why not all lower or all upper? Anyhow you must test and find which option works according your modeling
