Inventory diference Posting With Value as 1 Rs

Dear All
I want to Post the inventory difference
i.e I want to increase the Quantity with 701 movement
But the value of the inventory should not be the actual material value i want to post it with 1 Rs Value
Can anybody guide me how to solve this
Points will be rewarded if helpful
Regds
Shailesh

Hi,
I suggest 561 movement instead of 701 movement to have value updation with only Re1/.In 561 movement you give the quantity as you wish and value Rs1/ in the amount field.Then the stock value will be updated with only Rs1/.

  • Trip Co Document posted with value type 11 - Statistical actual

    Dear all,
    Can you please share what caused the CO document posted from Travel Management (tcode: PR05) having value type = 11 Statistical Actual?
    So far all the CO documents posted from Travel Management have value type = 4 - Actual.
    However we have a CO document posted from Travel Management with value type = 11 - statistical actual.
    Question:
    1. What caused the CO document posted with value type = 11?
    2. How to fix/change the value type for this CO document from 11- Statistical to 4 - Actual?
    Thank you very much in advance for your kind assistance.
    Best rgds,
    DTan

    Normally it means that in your CO account assingment there is also another CO object with a higher priority where the real value was posted.  For example if you do account assingment to the Cost Center and Internal order the real object will be Internal order and statistical posting will be at the Cost Center.  Anyway it should be visible within CO document.
    The way to correct it is to reverse and repost, means changing the trip and transferring it again.

  • Post with 561 movement type without affecting MAP

    Hi all,
    I have a scenario for Raw Material with Moving Average Price.
    When posting inventory with movement type 561 we are able to enter the Amount in LC.  I have set the value here as 0.01 but once I post the document the Moving Average Price in MM03 changes with respect to this value.
    I would like to ask is there any way to book stock into inventory without affecting the Moving Average Price.
    Thanks.

    Do not enter any external value, just post the quantity, and SAP will not change the MAP.
    But of course your stock value will increase by 500 x 1,5
    there is NO WAY to post a quantity of 500 with no value   for a valuated stock managed material and keeping the MAP uneffected.
    if you post with value,  then the MAP keeps constant but your total stock value goes up.
    if you post with zero value, then the MAP goes down.
    OF course you can then change the MAP again with MR21, this will create the next accounting document then.

  • Inventory Audit Report - Zero quantity but with value

    Hi All,
    Our client are using FIFO costing, due to some backdated transaction we get 0 Qty but the value is not 0 when running Inventory Audit Report base on posting date (system date is fine) at the month end. I understand that the system calculate the cost base on system date and this is system behavior.
    So, i just wanted to seek for advice from any expert in accounting especially on costing, will this 0 Qty with value report be accepted by auditor and will it caused any legal issue or this accounting practice is acceptable?
    Thanks.

    Dear Mr Kong,
    From what you said it looks like opening a message for this issue is the appropriate action this time.

  • Posting complete retirement not poss.with value date

    Hello,
    The error is coming as "Posting complete retirement not poss.with value date" when i am executing ABUMN. I am providing the asset value date same as the old assets Capitalisation date.The output comes as:
    Diagnosis
    Transactions have been posted to asset 900035 0 with an asset value date or posting date later than the retirement date 15.06.2009.
    I have tried with later date but same result.
    JK

    Hello Paul,
    I am not retiring the asset. I am just transferring the old asset class to a new asset class. Like: 100001 was created wrongly under 1020 class. Now we have created 500005 asset under 1040 class which is a correct class. Now I am transferring from 100001 to 500005 with the transaction code ABUMN. I am providing the same capitalisation date as of 100001 in asset value date in ABUMN.
    Hope you understand.

  • The document contains no posting lines with value other than zero

    Hi!
    We are having problems posting a invoice in MIRO. When entering the PO number we receive the error message "The document contains no posting lines with value other than zero".
    What could be the problem?
    /Anders

    Hi!
    The GR_BASEDIV is set in the PO. The PO is replicated from SRM where this flag has been set for no reason. Only GR and IV are set and we have implemented a note 1155266 so that Confirmation-Related IV will not be set.
    How come it is set anyway?
    Sincerely

  • Physical Inventory Count with Batches / Inventory Tracking+Posting

    Hi,
    There does not seem to be any way to record a Physical Inventory count with Batch managed items.
    Scenario-1: In case 1.8 kg of batch number 222 is counted during Physical Count. B1 has Batch number 111 with quantity 2.5kg. B1 assumes that a lesser quantity of existing batch 111 was counted and the batch SELECTION screen appears.
    Scenario-2: Similarly, if 3 kg of batch number 222 is counted during Physical Count and Batch number 111 exists on Business One with quantity 2.5kg, then B1 assumes that a new batch was found and the batch CREATION screen appears.
    Scenario-3: If 2.5 kg of batch number 222 is counted during Physical Count - with Batch number 111 on Business One with quantity 2.5kg, then B1 assumes a zero "difference" in posting window. Wrong batch removal and new batch addition cannot be done - the batch selection/creation screen does not pop up with CTRL+TAB.
    A Physical inventory count sheet with hundreds of rows with all 3 above scenarios in the rows is normally supposed to be entered into any system.
    An easy way to do this should exist on SAP B1 but does not appear to exist right now.
    Thanks,

    Message# 551219/2009
    Dear Ajay Audich,
    Thanks for your message and screenshots. In current version of SAP Business One, the Inventory Posting functionality does not offer input at the batch level. The system behaves in the following way:
    If the Difference number is positive, you will see a Define Bathes
    window where you can assign the item quantity to the relevant batches.
    If the Difference number is negative, you will see a Batch Number
    Selection widow where you can issue item from the relevant batch.
    So it isnot possible to enter the count for batch managed items per batch. The possible workaround is after Inventory Posting, use Goods Issue and Receipt to manually adjust the Batch quantity.
    Please kindly have a try. If the feature is important for customer
    business process, please kindly refer to attached Note 1028874 for
    further action.
    Sorry for any inconvenience, we appreciate your understanding.

  • Post proft segment and cost center in a sales order with value type 4 in CC

    Hello,
    We have CO-PA activated in SD. When we create the Sales order the field "Profit Segment" is automatically filled (with the characteristics values) and additionally we field manually the cost center.
    The main problem is that when we post in the two CO objects the cost center becomes automatically with value type 11 "Statistical Actual".
    In the end of the month we need to do the Assessments (KSU5) from the invoices created from one cost center to various cost centers but since the cost center in the invoice has "statistical  actual" value type we can't do the assessments.
    Is there any way to post in profit segment and in cost center and the cost center becomes with value type 4 "Actual"?
    Thank You

    Hello,
    Thank You for you answer. I have one more question.
    Is there any way to desactivate the field "Proft Segment" only for a specific document type?
    I've already tried in transaction KE4W and system is not creating now the Profitability Analysis document but this field "Profit Segment" is still  with values so the cost center is still with value type 11.
    I've tried to delete manualy the values in the field Profitability Analysis but system gives me an error related with incomplete data in sales order. I've look in SD customizing and this field is not configured in the incomplete data messages

  • Linking Consignment Settlement (MRKO) with Value Contract

    Hi Guys,
    We are trying to set up Consignment stock functionality in our company. We have successfully configured and tested it but there is only one problem, we want to link this consignment functionality with and Outline agreement (Value Contract to be exact), so that every time we do a settlement using MRKO, the invoice value is deducted from the total value of the contract. My first question is
    1 - Can we link consignment settlement (MRKO) and Value Contract in such a way that each time we run consignment settlement using MRKO , the open/ remaining value of the Value Contract is decreased by the invoice amount. If YES, then how can we do it (Please mention the steps if possible)
    2- If NO, then what is the way to achieve above task, is their workaround for it ??

    Normally we do not get into consignment arrangements with supplier with value limites or qty limites. It defeats the purpose of consignment, where idea is to reduce inventory carrying cost and yet have full availability of stock.
    Also, you will provide a dedicated space in your premises to your Supplier and hence to limit him with total value of your consumption is difficult to achieve. Even if you make some enhancement in system to achieve it, on shop floor how can you control it, if you have inventory open for use? If you have negotiated with consignment vendor based on value, I am sure Vendor will not replenish any inventory once he thinks that overall value limit is breached and hence suddenly one day, without any indicators to you, you will run out of those components which you do not have in your inventory, nor in your consignment inventory.
    You can implement any exit, which may stop you post the transaction in system, but I believe if you are entering into such contracts with your supplier, you may need to have some sort of notification once you are close approaching the overall limit, to either re-negotiate the contract or to have those components ordered for your inventory directly to ensure availability of stock.

  • How to post null values from h:inputText?

    Hello,
    I have a form made of h:inputText fields that map to an entity class as the backing bean. Whenever I post the form from a web page, all the fields that I did not fill out and that are mapped to String fields in the entity class are set to "" (empty string) instead of null.
    However, I would like to post null values to my entity, because that would indicate that the user did not fill out the field. In other contexts (outside of the web app) it is possible to set the fields to empty strings, but from the web app it should always be null. How can I get JSF to do this correctly?
    Also, when reading entitys with null values from the database, these are converted to empty h:inputText fields, so this direction works as expected.
    Ulrich

    I haven't seen a solution for this as far.
    This is how I do it:
    public void action() {
        if (isEmpty(inputValue)) {
            // do your thing
        } else {
            // do your thing
    public static boolean isEmpty(Object value) {
        if (value == null) {
            return true;
        if (value instanceof String && ((String) value).trim().length() == 0) {
            return true;
        if (value instanceof Collection && ((Collection) value).size() == 0) {
            return true;
        // And go so on .. make it an utility method.
        return false;
    }

  • Problem with value in object element declared as NUMBER(26,3)

    We have an object OBJ_NAME_1 created like below and total element in the object are around 100 with in which only one element is of data type VARCHAR2(4000). Other are with small size as below
    create or replace TYPE OBJ_NAME_1 AS OBJECT
    ( v_col1 VARCHAR2(4),
    v_col2 VARCHAR2(4),
    d_date DATE,
    amount_1 NUMBER(26,3) . . . . . . . . . . .)
    And we are creating an VARRY of above object as below:
    create or replace TYPE ARRAY_NAME_1 AS VARRAY(1000) OF OBJ_NAME_1
    Now we have one procedure with IN parameter of type ARRAY_NAME_1 as below and we are calling this procedure from java.
    create or replace PROCEDURE SP_PROC_1 (
    P_ARR_1 IN ARRAY_NAME_1,
    P_FILE IN VARCHAR2,
    E_MESS OUT VARCHAR2,
    E_CODE OUT NUMBER) . . . . . . . .
    My problem is with value of element amount_1 of array ARRAY_NAME_1 in the procedure. Actually data type of this element is NUMBER(26,3) in object. But from java we are able to pass value like 1234.12345 (with 5 decimal).
    The declare section of the procedure are like below :
    l_OBJ_NAME_1 OBJ_NAME_1;
    m_amount_1     table_1.amount_1%type; /* amount_1 in table_1 declared as NUMBER(26,3)*/
    n_amount_1     NUMBER(26,3);
    In the begin section we are assigning variable like below:
    IF (P_ARR_1 .COUNT>0) THEN
    FOR i IN P_ARR_1.FIRST .. P_ARR_1.LAST LOOP
    l_OBJ_NAME_1 := P_ARR_1(i);
    m_amount_1 := P_ARR_1(i).amount_1;
    n_amount_1 := P_ARR_1(i).amount_1;
    END LOOP;
    The value of variables are below after above assignment:
    l_OBJ_NAME_1 . Amount_1 → 234.12345 (without round off)
    m_amount_1 → 234.12345 (without round off)
    n_amount_1 → 234.123 (with round off)
    Actually all the above 3 variable/element has been declared as NUMBER(26,3), then the value in these variables should be with rounded up to 3 decimal place. Then why it is not happening with variable
    l_OBJ_NAME_1 . Amount_1 and m_amount_1?
    Please help.
    Edited by: SANT007 on Aug 12, 2011 9:45 AM

    Okay, thanks Patrick. I commented that out so now I can see the full error message. Actually, now the page just returns an "OK" (nothing else), and I click on that to return back to the page where I see:
    Checksum error for Hidden and Protected item ID (26968176992578859), value ([object]), posted checksum (326873D5A54A4AF425EC4D500B9B4D02), expected checksum (********************************), index_i (10), index_j (2), index_m (2);
    Okay, so that's evidently a new option in 3.1, it should have just been a 'Hidden' item, not 'Hidden and Protected'. So, I change this back to just 'Hidden', refressh the page, the re-execute it and try to select from the popup again. This time, instead of the more-or-less blank page with only "OK" on it, I also get "ORA-01722: invalid number" above the "OK". When I click the "OK", then I am returned back to the last good 'runnable' page I executed (since the search page is no longer 'runnable' (the javascript evidently is still returning an object instead of a number).
    On a previous run of trying to track the problem down, I made the :P3_SEQ as a regular text field so I could try to see what was going on, and it briefly displayed "[object]" before the search executed and returned the error.
    So thanks for helping me get past the first stage so I could see a better version of what the error is. Now I just need to figure out why an object is being returned instead of number. This worked fine in 3.0, and the only thing I can think of is that something, somewhere in 3.1's javascript is slightly different now, but I really don't know.

  • Storage location stock with value on a particular date

    i m in search of a report or logic which can fetch stock as in mb5b on a particular date. mb5b shows sloc stock but without value and show valuated stock without sloc. can anyone help me out to find such report or give some logic or table from where it can fetch sloc stock with value.

    Hi,
    All the stock related reports like MC.1,MC.5,MCBA etc will give you stock for a particular months range. he only report giving stock on a date is MB5B .However in this report you will not get the storage location stock value.
    Now try the report in T Code J3RFLVMOBVED which will serve your purpose .Here in the material parameter tab give your storage location and the date range in the main tab Posting date range and than execute.

  • Material inventory being posted in multiple SLOC at the same time

    When the same material is stored in multiple SLOCs and physical inventory counters are trying to enter the count at the same time the system stops them  with error- "material is blicked by user xxxx" etc. Please note at this client they do not block materials when being counted.
    Is there a way to be able to do this- meaning- multiple people can be entering the inventory count for tha same material at the same time?

    Hi Rajendara,
    this means two person are posting with same material document for the same material this cannot be done.
    i mean two users cannot use the same document at the same time, if this is your requriement tell them to use different material document at the same time so that it doesn't over lap. i mean if you have 10 documents let one start from 1 & the other person start from 10.
