Inventory Report-Replacement path for Base UOM to Case and Standrad Cost

Hi, We have a Scenario as below:
Question1:
We have a multiprovider contains 4 infocubes and 2 Master Data objects
a.Demand
b.Inventory
c.Sales Orders
d.In Transit
Master Data objects
a. Material (contains Base UOM to Case as Key Figure Attribute and also Base UOM as an attribute)
b. Material Location (Contains material as an attribute and also Standard Cost as a Key Figure attribute)
At the report level two formula variables are defined with replacement path for showing the Base UOM to Case and Standard Cost in columns.
We have 4 reports on this multiprovider. There is a dialy sales report which gives the following details
Material, Location, MRP Controller, CalDay, Base UOM, Actual Sales(AS), Dependent Demand(DD), Consumption Qyt(CQ), Base to Case UOM, Standard Cost
In this report for all the records the Base to UOM and Standard Cost column is coming with values which is nothing but the replacement path on the material master key figure attribute. Though this report is on the multiprovider all the major keyfigures (AS, DD and CQ) are coming from a single cube( this is an observation from myside).
We have another report which is the Inventory Report with the following details:
Material, Location, MRP Controllder, Calday, Base UOM, Unrestricted Inventory(UI), committed Inventory(CI), Back Order Qty(BOQ), In Transit by Sh/Rec(ITS), In Transit Pipeline(ITP), On Order Qty (OOQ), Current Inventory Position (CIP), Quality Inspection Stock(QIS), Block Stock(BS), Base to Case UOM, Standard Cost
Now in this report for all the records the Base to Case UOM and standrad cost is not showing up. Is there anything which needs to be done in order to get the Base to Case UOM and standard cost for all the records.
Question2:
When Non-Cumulative and Cumulative key figures are combined at the multi provider and also at the report level, will there be any problem?

I think you can proceed with virtual characteristics for this.In the code you can truncate the time and you can display on the date:

I just found a solution via the below link
in Bex Formula variabel, Current calander day(sap exit) missing.
Here he is trying to use the existing formula variable.
My doubt here is, Even i could not find this varaible in BEX formula variable, But could see this in BI Content path as mentioned in the above link. DO i have to transport this varaible , or i simply can activate it in production?
I just could find this in BI Content but not in MetaData Repository.

Query - Replacement Path for a Customer Exit Variable

Hi
New to the field and the board. Any and All help is greatly appreciated.
I have created a query which runs based on a date selection. The query have few customer exit variables whose values are set in ABAP. All Key Figures in the query are brought depending on the date ranges that each of the CE returns. Ex - one column is sales for first 10 days, 2nd for second 10 days, 3rd for first quarter, 4th for 2nd quarter and such. There are about 20 - 25 columns with KF in the query and all are Customer Exit date driven.
The challenge:- Each column heading should have the name of the month. I tried using Replacement Path. But it works when the selection is based on a constant value but not on value based on variable which is a customer exit. Ex - If I say restrict Cal/Month for July 2013, the replacement path for the Col Heading works fine. But if I say restrict Cal/Month for "ZVAR_SecondQtr_First_Month" the replacement path doesn't work.

In the text variable that you are using , i guess you have a replacement path. In this instead of using your characteristic for specifying how the value has to replace, use the variable option and give the variable name there

Replacement Path for Chaging the Field Names

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to build a query containing 31 columns say day1,day2u2026.
The Report should display the fields as 1-Sep-2008.2-Sep-2008 and so on, when the query is executed in the month of September.
The same query executed in the month of October should display the fields as 1-Oct-2008,2-Oct-2008 and so onu2026.
I guess this can be achieved using the Replacement path.
Is that correct? If yes, Please let me know how to achieve this.

Hi DVAPrasad,
You can have the epected results using text variable for the columns headings.
For that you need to create a text variable which will take up a value according to month selected. If you are using 0month characteristic to select the month, then you will require a text variable using customer exit as in 0month the values for the month are stored in the '09' , '10', etc format.
Here you will have to write logic as when its '09' take value as 'sept' and when its '10' take value as 'oct'.
If you are using a custom characteristic for month which stores values for the month as 'sept' , 'oct' etc then you can use replacement path variable.

How to use independent replacement paths for same KF over several months?

Dear Experts,
I have a query requirement to show KF values for items that meet a condition on another KF for a five month period. I know that I can accomplish this using a replacement path variable on item for one month at a time, however I am not sure how to do this for multiple months in one query.
This is an example:
Month 1
KF 1 > 0 for Items A & B.........so show KF 2 for for Items A & B
Month 2
KF 1 > 0 for Items B & C.........so show KF 2 for for Items B & C
Month 3
KF 1 > 0 for Items A & C.........so show KF 2 for for Items A & C

Here is my new version of Murrays writing, easiest way I think:
You open up a pre-existing html, say Chicago. Then drag over with pointer to the new jpeg you want (Buffalo). It replaces Chicago with the buffalo jpeg, all links work perfectly. Then do a save as called Buffalo.

Report for production order with actual and target cost for each

Is there any report that gives me the list of all production orders in a month with its respective actual and target costs?
I can use COOIS to get a list of production orders, then double click on the prod order, then click on goto and then to cost analyis.. but can i avoid going through all this and get a report with the details i need?

The MessageBundle work well, the problem i think is something with the selectOneMenu.
Help me please.

a) You can't use map for that purpose.
b) You have to create SelectItem objects
c) If you return an array of selectItem on this method condiments, it will go ok.

CS4 Dreamweaver not replacing paths for images/links

New Windows 7 machine with CS4 Web Premium. When using Dreamweaver, and, for example, replacing an image or a link in the design window using the properties... I click on the image, click the browse button, select the new file (I've tried hitting OK and double clicking -both of which should, or at least used to work in CS3). However, when returning to the main screen, the path to the image or link has not been replaced.
What is interesting is that IF I click on more than one image - i.e. say I am replacing one.jpg. So, I open the browse button, and select two.jpg, but then click on three.jpg (which is the file I want) and then hit OK (if I double click three.jpg after selecting another image first), it works fine.
Any ideas how to fix this irritating bug?? Thanks...

Hallelujah!! I'm not alone!! I wonder if Adobe does actually browse these forums. I can't believe something like this isn't a really easy fix for them. I can't tell you the amount of times I thought I'd updated a picture and then looked completely incompetant to a client because it didn't take. Very sloppy on both mine AND Adobe's part.

BW Version 3.5 How to define replacement path for a variable

Hi experts,
I'm currently using version 3.5 and I have a multiprovider which stores a copy of the forecasting data every month ( and versions it according to saved month). I would like to develop a report whereby the users enter the months they wish to query and I produce them what was forecast 2 months previous for the month they enter
e.g. May 2011 - what was forecast in March 2011 for May 2011.
June 2011 - what was forecast in April 2011 for June 2011
The problem I'm having is that I need to use the date entered, offset by -2 to read the plan saved in that calendar month. I know this is quite possible in BI 7.0 but I can't seem to do this easily in 3.5.
I created a customer exit variable which caluclates the offset range for the calmonth range entered, however what i am getting is for example when i put in 052011 - 062011:
May 2011 = March 2011 + April 2011 plan
June 2011 = March 2011 + April 2011 plan
When really I want
May 2011 = March 2011
June 2011 = April 2011 plan
Is what I want to do possible?

You can do it using customer exit variable.
First of all get the user input for Fiscal Period. After that you can write similar code in exit, I am just giving you sample code.
When 'Req Variable'.
If I_STEP = '2'.
Read the value of variable entered by User. e.g. 052011.
per1 = UserInputVar+0(2).
Year1 = UserInputVar+2(4).
per1 = per1 - 2.
if per1 = 0.
per1 = 12.
Year1 = Year1 - 1.

Year1 = Year1 -1 .

clear wa_range.
concatenate per1 year1 into wa_range-low.

Please have a look at 0RSTT_C01 cube also look at the queries ,delivered with this cube.

Textvariable with replacement path for 0CALMONTH doesn't work ...

Hello expert,
we have done release upgrade BW 7.01 -> BW 7.3 SPS 04. While checking queries I found out that textvariables with replacementpath for 0CALMONTH doesn't work anymore. In the report I only see the variable name like ZVARXYZ01 but want to see something like 'JAN 2011'.
As far as I understand 0CALMONTH don't need a texttable. Texts can be found in table T247. I checked the table and all values looks fine.
Any Idea where the problem is or how I can analyze it?

I don't have any mail in my mail box. Everything is cleaned out but it still registers 373 on the front of my phone. How do I get this to go back to normal?

If your email account offers a webmail access, I suggest checking the webmail - log in to your account using the webmail access, and I predict you will see all those "unread" emails there and can dispose of them from there.
This happens because the iPhone that went bad, when reading those emails, did not remove them from your email provider's servier.
