Inventory Transaction Worker

Can Someone help me on the performance of Inventory transaction Worker?? It takes about 8 mins to complete for each subinventory
(around 200 rows) and we have over 200 subinventories... We have tried all available options...
Oracle Support has asked us to address post this query to the forum as this seemed, as the functionality of the worker seems to be Serial(one by one)....
Suggestions are most welcome as this is a bottleneck to our Project

Did you ever a resolution regarding the performance issues you were having with the inventory transaction workers? We are also experiencing a similar problem with performance and I would appreciate any advice you may have on the subject.

No similar issues are reported on MOS website, so you may log a SR for this error.

PURPOSE
Serial 하게만 실행되는 Inventory Transaction Worker를 Parallel하게 실행될 수 있도록 한다.
Problem Description
Profile Option - Concurrent: Sequential Requests = 'No'임에도 불구하고 Inventory Trnasaction Worker가 Parallel 하게 실행되지 않고 Sequential 하게만 실행된다.
예를 들면,
-. Inventory Trnasaction Manager가 3 Target processes로 setup.
-. 각 Material Transaction Worker가 100 rows를 handle하게 setup.
500 rows가 동시에 실행되는 경우 Inventory trnasaction worker 3개가 parallel하게 작업하지 않고 한 개씩 sequential하게 작업한다.

Solution Description
WIP move transaction manager code에 concurrent single thread 값이 'Y'로 ssetting 되어 INV transaction worker가 parallel하게 실행되지 않았다.
WIP move transaction manager가 active 상태에도 INV transaction worker가 parallel하게 실행시키기 위해서 patch 2676024 를 적용한다.
Apply patch 2676024.

Inventory Transaction Worker erroring without any log messages.

Hi,
When I try to run Inventory Transaction Worker, it is erroring out without any log/output messages. In metalink, it has been mentioned that when there are any garbage characters in the input data, it errors out.
I checked the input data also. It seems to be fine.
Could any of you please help me in this regard???

No,I didn't tried to relink INCTCW.
Please try to relink the file and see if it helps.
Also, please go through the doc referenced above and check the database log file for any errors.

I believe you should be able to do that using FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST (search MOS for examples on how to use this package).

Inventory transaction worker issue

Hi Team,
while doing the complete job I am calling process tranaction inteface through my custom program but the Material transaction manager in acvtive only. The process transaction Interface prgoram triggering the Inventory tranasction worker in twice but the first time its completed with normal and the second time program errored out with log messsage says error message Output is not being printed because.
why its calling twice can u please let us know.

Inventory transactions - Work Order Less Completions

I am looking for some information on 'work order less completion' (WOLC) type of transaction in inventory (type of inventory transaction).

After enabling debug mode to statement level we pinpointed the problem:
The record is failing on interface completion (wip_flowUtil_priv.processFlowInterfaceRecords), when calling validateInterfaceCompletion procedure.
The exact reason is unknown because the procedure writes the error code directly into not commited record (column error_code, mtl_transactions_interface table).
It seems we are not the only one:

Mass inventory transactions of over 50,000 quantity

Hi All,
We have a requirement to do a mass bin move from one location to other. We are expecting a move 50,000 quantities at a time. We have 50 inventory transactions worker scheduled as of now. Is there any way we can fast up this move? We did a move of 30,000 and it took almost 4 hours.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

1) Increase workers
2) Stop other people from submitting concurrent programs
3) If you use vitualization, then try to temporarily increase the box hardware (for the concurrent tier)
4) Make sure you don't run much else on the d/b.
5) Run stats on the inv schema after loading the interface table.
Besides, that you don't have much choice.

How to check Inventory transactions weather they have transferred to GL?

Hi All,
How I can check Inventory transactions weather they have transferred to GL or not in R12.
Example: I have performed a miscellaneous receipt it has costed as well. Now I am not transferred this transaction to GL from Cost Management i..e using create accounting program.
In this case how I can check from the Inventory tables/from the front end screens (Material Transactions) weather this transaction has transferred to GL or not.
Please let me know If you have any clarifications regarding this point.

Hi,
There is no way to check whether transactions has been transferred to GL or not. What material transaction form tells us is that distributions for particular transactions has been created in sub ledger tables. For transferring transactions to GL you will have to do some work regarding SRS that whenever Create Accounting Program Runs, a message should be routed that All Transactions have been transferred to GL.

Restriction of Inventory Transactions on a holiday in EBS

We have a requirement that inventory transactions (e.g., Receiving) to happen only on calendar working days and we don't want any transaction to happen on the Holidays inbetween. Is there any std Oracle feature available to enforce the same in Oracle Inventory (R 12.1.3) ? Please advise.

Should the Goods Receipt Inventory Transaction include Item Cost selection?

When processing a Goods Receipt inventory transaction, the Price List pull down does not display "Item Cost" as a selection.
The user can make the Unit Price field visible and active, compare the cost displayed from the Price List selected to the current Item cost and update if different. This forces the user to be very cost cognizant as none of the price lists available are guaranteed to be equal to the current item cost.
Update of the record can cause a cost revaluation in moving average or a cost varinance account adjustment in a standard cost system.
The companies I have talked to would prefer to select Item Cost in the price list field as they can do in the Stock Posting.
I am looking for further input on this.

I Created a plan with one Subject area Supply Chain Inventory Transactions. while running i am getting an error (out of 241 tasks 22 got failed). Nothing got Failed in Informatica. TASK_Group_Load_PositionHierarchy got failed. when i go through the log the error is like this.

I added one more temp tablespace like temp3, it resolves my problem, i am getting sucesses now. temp tablespace is using while exicuting large queries like aggrications.

Authorization Control for Physical Inventory Transactions

Hello,
Can we control the authorization for Physical Inventory Transactions especially MI01, MI02, Mi04, MI07, MI08, MI31 etc. at Storage Location level instead of Plant Level.
If it's not possible at Sloc level does anyone knows the user exit/code we can use enable the authorization check at Storage Location level.
