  • Invoice payment history report

I'm looking for a report that will show me the payment history (open items and cleared items) that corresponds to an invoice or a list of invoices. I have played around with a couple of standard SAP reports and I don't find them to be all that pretty or easy to use.
Does anyone have a custom report that they've built to gather this information and would be willing to share? Or, even better yet, does anyone know of an SAP function module or report that gives this information in a reasonably nice format?
I am looking for detailed information on each payment if possible.
    Thank you,
    Andy

Naimesh, thank you for the quick reply. I have checked out that transaction and it is a good start for me. I'm hoping someone might have located or created a report that is more specific to this particular function that I am thinking of.
If not, this will work well as a starting point.
    Regards,
    Andy

  • Invoice Price Variance Report

    Hi,
When the IPV report is run for a particular month , I find a variance value of -759 against an account. But when I look in Payables entries for this account, I find an additional -1329 , in addition to -759 and when I drill down these are identified as Invoice Price Variance. Why isn't the report picking up this entry ? For these entry lines the source is "Cost Management". Please provide me with some pointers to this.
    Thanks,
    Meenakshi

    hi
thanks for your reply. assume that PO total is 150. invoice is created of 100. in this case should i see an amount in Invoice Price Variance? im not seeing any change in Invoice Price Variance. for me what happens here is Transaction Amount - Accounted is shown -50 as its still to create an invoice of amount 50 which is in fact the accrual balance. pls give me a feedback on this. i want to produce a scenario which will make the invoice price variance more or less than 0.
    thanks

  • Design Invoice in Crystal Report 8.5

    Hello,
Crystal report is the software used to create reports and documents for the business software we use (it's built-in).
We have received from the graphic designer a layout design in PDF vectorial format for the sales invoice, but we are having a hard time to make it work with crystal report.
Is there anyway we can use a full background image? Or does it have to be built by areas with pieces of images?
Which is the best image extension/format to be used when adding images? We have noticed that using jpg results in a lot of grain. An image with white background will show not white, but grainy making it impossible to look good within the rest of the document.
We aim to have the invoices both printed or sent by email (PDF or HTM format) and we need it to work with quality both ways. We've noticed as well that using gif (instead of jpg) gives better/good print results, but if we print an invoice that was converted into PDF, though it was not visible on the screen (contrary to jpg), the print will show a grainy background of the image, where it should be white (like described when using jpg).
I would appreciate your help as we're not managing to find a good enough solution.
    Thank you.

    Hi Rita
There are certain advantages/limitations while using any kind of image formats which are quite generic in nature(whether with crystal or otherwise).
If you think that the pdf document which holds the images in it looks good as per your requirement(since you are comparing the results with it) then would suggest you to insert this pdf file directly as an OLE object.
In Insert>>Ole Object menu you will get to see the option for inserting an Adobe Acrobat Document.
Please break the pdf document into several pages as crystal would be able to display one page in one OLE object.
    Thanks

  • Foreign Trade Declarations Step 5 - AP Invoices aren't reported

    Hi Experts,
I hope you're all well.  I'm hoping you can help me with an Intrastat issue I have please.
I have noticed that AP Invoice transactions only appear in Step 6 of the Foreign Trade Declarations report if I populated AP Invoice VAT Code with VAT Code E2 which is defined as Input Tax and the EU box is ticked.
If I create an AP Invoice with the VAT code I1 then the transaction doesn't appear on Step 6 of the Foreign Trade Declarations report.  VAT Code I1 is set up as Input Tax but the EU box is not ticked for this VAT code.
Is this correct SAP behaviour please or am I doing something wrong?
    Many thanks for any information.
    Caroline

    Hi,
Check the Tolerance days in the payment run defaults. Take the days as zero and run the payment wizard.
In 2005 version available under following path :
Banking Module > Payment Wizard > Payment Run Default > Tolerance days.
    In 2007 version :
Administration > Setup > Banking > Payment Run Defaults.

  • Invoice line items report from DSO compared to Infocube (in HANA)

    Hi Folks,
As you know Invoice line items are very granular level information. We are facing performance issues on reports based on the Infocubes to display this information. We are migrating to HANA and looking for options to improve the performance. One of the option we are looking at is instead of Infocube can we we report directly on the DSO. I would like to know whether it will help and its Pro & Con's. Please help.
    Thanks,
    B

    Hi B,
Reading data from a DSO instead of an InfoCube will not improve reporting performance. The benefit in getting rid of the cube is that you have less loading to do.  You still need cubes for planning and inventory scenarios.
You do not need a composite provider to report from DSOs in BW. Once you've migrated to HANA you use DSOs just as you would today, and you can report from a multiprovider. Yes, you can use a composite provider, but it is not necessary.
If your report is slow today, you need to find out where it is slow.  HANA could provide a huge benefit as soon as you migrate, or it might not help much.  It depends on the scenario. OSS 1681396 is a good place to start.
If the DB time is long, and you're not using BWA today, you can expect big benefits when you migrate to HANA.
If the OLAP time is long, you might see big benefits when you migrate, as the OLAP engine during query execution is pushing more to HANA.
If the frontend time is long, migrating to a different database isn't likely to change that, you'd need to address that separately.
Finally, an important point to remember is that once you've migrated you open up additional possibilities for improvement that are not available to you in BW-on-non-HANA.  For example, you might be able to rewrite queries as HANA models.  I did some performance tests on this in a very simple case of exception aggregation.

  • AR Invoice Crystal Sub-report Editing

    Hi experts,
please i need a help on editing AR invoice crystal report  version in SAP business one .
i want to add some fields to the sub report named summary section.
For this particular customer he or she wants to see the sum of the individual row VAT and the individual row Freight.
From the summary section all i see is parameters set but no tables added and parameters set can not be edited.
Individual Vatsum and freights total (TotalExpns) can be found under table INV6. I added that table but nothing worked.
attached is the crystal report for customer and i want the table OINV AND INV6 to be added to the summary section. The VatSum and TotalExpns from INV6 to be made in a formula. ADD Vatsum and Totalexpns form INV6. And the value should be based on docentry from the main report.
we dont want duplicated Total Expns. It should be just one and added to the Sum of Vat.
Urgent Help will be much appreciated.
    Regards
    Justice

    @Nithi,
i want ti create a parameter on the subreport that links with the parameter on the main report.
that is the dockey@ and objectid@.
so that the values i will pick from the added tables in the subreport will come out based on the main reports  parameters.
Please experts i need urgent help with my question.

  • Duplicate invoices in 1099 report

    Hello All
When I run the S_P00_07000134 - Generic Withholding Tax Reporting  report I am seeing invoices show up twice for a vendor. This vendor had its tax region code changed from IL to NY and now I see the amounts showing up once under IL and again under NY which is making my total double.
Did anyone face this issue? How do I fix it? I already ran the correction program

    Hi,
Vendor address and withholding tax code should be maintained as per the nature of the vendor. 1099 Vendors will be classified based on Vendor Master containing fields (Tax Number 1 or 2 and Withholding Tax Code). In US a taxpayer identification number (TIN) uniquely identifies recipients whose income is connected with a trade or business. In this context please note that if the business does not know the TIN of the vendor then they can request it from the IRS (internal Revenue Services which is a regulatory body ) using form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. With this form, the vendor also certifies to the company that the number furnished is correct. The taxpayer identification number is a social security number (SSN) and is filled up in Tax number 1 field of Account control screen of vendor master if the vendor concerned is an individual, and an employer identification number (EIN) for corporate in all other cases and is filled up in Tax number 2 field of account control screen of vendor master.
Now the question remains which all vendors actually qualify under 1099 category? Generally that would be a vendor of goods and /or services that is not incorporated (such as a landlord, independent contractor) to whom your business has made payments greater than $600 (total, for the applicable tax year). In addition, gross proceeds to attorneys and cash payments for fish and fishing boat proceeds and some other specified categories of payments are reportable. If your vendor is a 1099 vendor you have to issue them (and report to the IRS) a separate 1099 slip. It applies primarily to vendors who provide "services" and excludes corporations, unless the service provided is for medical or health care services or attorneys fees. Vendors who are service providers and are not incorporated should therefore indicate that they are 1099 vendors and provide the requested information. The sole purpose of this 1099 reporting is to ensure that the IRS gets income information from an independent contractor and they do not evade paying taxes. The IRS is apparently tracking certain business transactions as well, such as gross attorney proceeds and payments for fish and fishing boat proceeds.

  • Invoice in crystal reports with group by basedocnum Delivery and line text

    Hi there,
as i got some troubles with a CR i've tried to make a new report.
i use OINV, INV1, OCRD, NNM1, OCTG, OSCP in the report.
the details section is grouped by inv1.basedocnum. In the group header it should show the
inv1.basedocnum and the inv1.docdate. when printed does not respect the order of lines after group by
basedocnum. is for the case where a bill is grouped into several invoices I have lines in text
    interspersed between articles. for example:
Delivery nº 1 de fecha 12/04/2011
    This is a line text
    001     Product1     1,00     3,00     3,00
    002     Product2     2,00     2,00     4,00
Delivery nº 4 de fecha 13/04/2011
    001     Product1     1,00     3,00     3,00
    Another line text
    003     Product3     2,00     1,50     3,00
Delivery nº 8 de fecha 15/04/2010
    This is a line text
    001     Product1     1,00     3,00     3,00
    Line text
    002     Product2     2,00     2,00     4,00
I thus first printed text lines and then the article and does not respect the order of lines per document
    any idea?
    Thanks in advance
    SBO 8.8

One possibility for this is that the user has an unusual printer driver set as their default printer.  I would check that they have a regular printer installed and set as the default.
The other possibility is that they have their IE option set to display text as small.   If you go to "View" -> "Text Size" - what size do they have the text set to?

  • Add Shipping Type in AR Invoice in Crystal Report

    Dear Experts,
I'm designing the layout by Crystal Report. I want to add Shipping Type in AR Invoice. I used the ready format provided in version 8.8. However, there is no Shipping Type in the given format. So, I pulled in the OSHP table and link TrnspCode to OINV's TrnspCode.
This form works only if I select a shipping type from the drop-down menu in the AR Invoice. If I leave the shipping type empty, this form will generate a blank data.
    Where did I go wrong?

    Hi,
A question: why do you need leave the shipping type empty?
    Thanks,
