Help! My iPad won't play any audio when there is a video component to an app or game. It will play my music and I can see the video on my movies, but not the movie sound. Turning off and turning it on again worked as a temporary fix once, but now that is not working either. Been going on for an week or two?
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

2. Phone and text service does not rerquire internet. Its a separate service to the Data access for internet.
Do you have Mobile/Cellular Data turned on in Settings->Cellular/Mobile?
Have you talked to straight talk? Your Data allowance may have been exceeded on your plan. -

The issue is that your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside in order to purchase iTunes content.

I've been getting this error on several websites, this is the latest one it just came up on. I got it while trying to sign onto this page.
I am able to connect using IE 9, Windows 7 Enterprise.Under Advanced>Encryption:Certificate>Validation both boxes were checked, to Use OCSP server to validate the certificate and if the connection fails, then to consider the certificate as Invalid.
I unchecked the second box (consider the cert as invalid) and now I am able to connect to the websites. This is a business computer and I don't surf with it very much (when I do it is to answer IT questions using Google searches) so I'm not too concerned about turning off the validation.

Your post was somewhat hard to understand, but I'll do my best to help as much as I can.
If you take a picture or save a picture, it'll be in camera roll. If you delete the picture there, it'll remove it from all other locations.
If you have photos in album stream, you can't even save those pictures to your camera roll. To get rid of those you'll need to connect your device to itunes, select your device, go to photos & deselect the option to sync them to your device.

My iPad will not play sounds on certain applications. ie: if I click on a video from FB sound will not play. If I go to YouTube and play the same video sound will play. Also certain games will no longer play sounds. They always played sounds but now won't now. I just went to my churches web site to watch live service and again no sound. I grabbed my dads iPad and the sound works fine.
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

The description says it all. I bought a movie on iTunes but when I try to watch it plays back slowly with no sound. Then the video will speed up and the sound will work for a moment then off again and back to slow motion. I have a dell laptop running windows 7

I have this same problem, with my iPad 2. All was fine until I updated to IOS 7.0.6. Now when I am in sites with imbedded You Tube videos, nothing will play. Videos appear to load & then I get a black screen. I have done same - shut down all apps & reset. Any other ideas? Thx.

videos will play for a few seconds on my iphone then it pauses. i press play and it pauses again. why is it doing this? and this is for all videos: youtube vides, videos off the internet, videos ive downloaded from itunes
I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -
i can not watch videos while at home and connected to wi-fi. when i touch the video i want to watch a screen comes up with a play symbol with a line through it. i can disconnect from the wi-fi and go to 3g and the video will play. this is happening when i go to safari and try to watch a online video.

As of yesterday no animation or videos will play from Firefox, but other browsers still work fine. I have checked plugins and even updated to the Firefox 14 beta today, but this did not fix the problem.
this problem started yesterday; before then there was no problem.
I have updated everything I can find, and ran a system restore and disc clean.
The problem still persists. What am I missing here?This happened to me too. This problem started suddenly with no changes made on my part. I had 11.2 Flash version with Firefox 13. I tried updating to the new Firefox, same problem, then updated to Flash 11.3. I even uninstalled RealPlayer.
I read a solution on another forum and it was as easy as clearing my cache. Everything works fine now (even after reinstalling RealPlayer and allowing the download button function). -

How can I ensure embedded video will play from in Captivate 7 projects?
Hello guys, Evan here (formerly RiskLMSspecialist). I have a couple projects recently that I published from Captivate 7 into just simple SWF. They were set to flash player version 10, and a couple of my peers are able to view the trainings without any problems, but one other, my supervisor, plays the presentations and finds that none of the videos (imported as event videos) will play in Internet Explorer. Is this merely going to require her updating the flash player plugin for I.E.? Is there a way to ensure that they will always play? I only worry that of the 1000+ other employees that need to ultimately view this training will have a similar ratio (1/3) who have not updated their browsers and will unknowingly be missing content. Thanks.
People often forget that in the typical ADDIE process (and it should be an iterative process) the 'I' stands for Implementation. Part of this phase is making sure that your content can actually BE rolled out successfully to your target audience. And since as I mentioned ADDIE should be iterative (repeating phases) then the first time you come around to the Implementation phase is likely to be somewhere early in the project lifecycle when you are finding out what is feasible to create. At that point you should be finding out what level of technology your target audience possesses. Failure to find this out early can sink or at least hobble the success of any e-learning project.

Am I the only fool who clicked on update all when my iPad told me updates were available? Two updates loaded just fine, but the other four never updated and now lie useless and grayed out. I had 6 Apps that needed updating on my iPad original. I hit "Update All" and that ruined four Apps. They won't download the updates, nor will they launch and be useable either. I lost Splashtop 2, Bible!, and Mercury Browser! Suggestions?! I don't want to ruin my access to Splashtop 2 for sure.
I fixed it by going through a few steps using iTunes while hooked to my computer.
