my iphone is stuck at apple logo , what should i do ?

    Hello Usmanoo7,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iOS: Unable to update or restore
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
You may need to perform a recovery-mode restore if the device displays the Apple logo with no progress bar or a stopped progress bar for over ten minutes.
    Best of luck,

  • Ipod touch 4 stuck on a blinking apple logo while updating to iOS 6.1.3

The update had already downloaded on my device. However when it was installing it went into a loop of blinking apple logo. Is the install happenng or is it just stuck. How to fix this. Pl help.

If not successful try the remaining steps of the following:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Same here. I tried to update my iPhone 5S and iPad 4 to 7.1 but iTunes wiped out them. This thing already happened for iOS 7.0.6 update. What happened to Apple? I am really curious whether Apple is aware of this problem.

  • IPhone stuck on Apple logo!!! PLEASE HELP!

I was restoring my iPhone and on my computer there showed an information that I have to wait a few seconds and my phone will start working again. There appeared that Apple logo on my phone and it's stuck.... what should I do? Please help!

Don't wink, there always have a solution for problem. The following steps with a three-party sofeware which named iPhone Data Software can help you to solve it.
First, fix the problem of iPhone stuck on Apple logo screen
Second, restore data from iPhone directly
    Or
Third, recover lost data from iTunes backup
When the lost files are recovered, you can keep your Contacts, SMS, Photos, Videos, Calendar and Notes on your computer as a backup, to avoid losing your data the next time.

  • Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems.

Owning 2 iphones with one Apple account has = Sync Problems.  iTunes is thinking my old iphone 4 is the same phone as my iphone 5C.  When I plugged in my iphone 5C it auto synced my 5C to iTunes and it wiped my 5C and restored it to the same content as is on my iPhone 4.  This is a big problem since my 5 year old has been using the iPhone 4.  It's all Mickey Mouse and Backyardigans.  (Total photo/app/contacts loss)
I was able to update the 5C and restore from a 3 month old backup that is actually the content from the 5C but now when I plug in my 5C it wants to "setup as new phone" or "restore from backup"  What's going on?  I'm afraid to choose either option.
How can I get iTunes to see these devices as 2 and not one?
Can I use my Apple ID on both phones still or is this the problem?

They were both displaying the same name in iTunes.  I changed the name of the iPhone 4 before the 5C was plugged in but it still went ahead with syncing it to the 4's data.

  • My Ipad 1 is not working. when i put it for charging it shows blinking apple logo

    I have Ipad-1 with OS 4.2.
As my i pad sutdown even when it was showing remaining battary as 45%. When I tried to restart it was not getting restrated. I put it on charging and tried to reboot by pressing on-off switch at top and home button. Now I pad is not getting started, it is just showing blinking Apple logo. When I tried to hold home button it was showing to connect to i-tunes.
Now I connected my ipad with computer and it is not showing blinking apple logo of conection option with i-tune. but when i connect it to power socket it shows same blinking apple logo.
I went to apple service centre in Navi Mumbai (India) and they suggested me to replace the i pad at a cost of INR 18000 (equal to USD 375).
Please help if I can restart my Ipad without replacement.

    - See if placing the iPad in recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod via iTunes. For recovery mode see:
iPad: Unable to update or restore
    - Next, try DFU mode:
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - Last, your iPad needs replacement

  • Does your iPod have the dreaded apple logo/sad face problem? Here's help!

Hi, I'm Stan, and I've found some useful tips in solving this problem.
This mini-guide is based on what I've found on my old clickwheel 20GB, B&W iPod (actually my bro's. My own video pod works great).
Description of what I call the, "apple logo/sad face" problem:
When I press any button, the apple logo appears, then after a few impatient seconds, the sad face appears, showing "www.apple.com/support/ipod/" at the bottom. Apparently, many ppl have this problem.
    iPod commands:
Hold down the following buttons for the following commands:
MENU + Select=Resets the iPod. This "exits" your iPod out of whatever mode, bringing up the apple logo, hopefully but most unlikely fixing your iPod.
    |<< + Select= the secret diagnostic mode. You'll see: apple logo, then backwards apple logo for a split second (backlight will light up), then you'll see "IRAMPASS. HITPLAY CONTINUE". NOTE: '|<<' is known as the 'reverse' button. aka the 'rewind' or 'previous' button. it's the left button of the iPod. I got confused by the word, 'reverse' b4.
    || + Select= Disk Mode. You'll see a √, should say "OK to disconnect" and you'll see the battery icon and your battery life remaining. NOTE: '>||' is known as the 'play/pause' button. it's the bottom button.
Now then, now that we have that cleared, you're still wondering why your pod ain't going into either disk mode or diagnostic mode. Here's probably why:
My old, clickwheel 20GB pod can infact reset, disk mode, and diagnostic mode. According to Apple, you must reset your pod, then hold down the two buttons for whichever mode you want. I did this, and had no luck. For all you stumped fellows, try skipping the first step. In other words, when your pod is off, hold down |<< and Select without resetting. Same goes for disk mode.
Here's what my pod does, and what your pod may or may not do:
-Takes a really long time to go into disk mode, yet it's still possible.
-when attempting to connect to computer while in disk mode, it shows the normal "do not disconnect" screen, then reverts to the sad face.
-the HDD SCAN and HDD R/W SCAN don't work in diagnostic mode (Maybe they actually do, but I ain't waiting any longer).
-I've concluded that if you hear the whrring sound (sounds like the hard drive disk is struggling to spin properly, very quiet, must put pod close to your ear to hear it), your pod is "stuck" and won't do anything.
This mini-guide isn't a solution, but merely all of Apple's feeble advice put into words that iPod noobs can understand. So next time you read something like "try putting your iPod into disk mode, connect it, and hope it shows up in Disk Utility.". you'll be saying "it's not showing up!!" instead of "the sad face won't let me put it into disk mode!!"
hope this helps. Let's all do what we can to stop this problem.
    peace

    See if these help.
iPod shows only an Apple logo and doesn't start up.
Only the Apple logo appears when turned on.
