Iphone application password issues

Every app on my iphone 4 that involved a username or password including facebook, emails and bank apps asked for the details to be re-entered with the reason of incorrect details or server was down. i am aware that IOS software is not prone to viruses but what could this be? should i be worried?

Sorry this isn't an Apple/iphone issue but an issue with the Charter account.  Have you contacted the Charter email provider to resolve the issue?

  • Itunes - AIR Iphone application - Sync issue

    I created a test AIR application using iphone packager. I followed all the steps descriped in the developer guide
    to build the application.
    When I sync the application with my iPhone it shows the error :
    The application "xxxxx" was not installed on the iphone "xxxx" because the entitlements are not
    valid.
    I tried deleting all the certificates/provision files and created new ones. Still, I get the
    same error.

    Looks like the issue is in specifying the app-id. I removed the bundle id from the app id in the configuration
    file. It installed without any issue

  • IPhone Applications Sync issue - Unable to transfer

    I bought the allRAdio application from my PC - iTunes iStore for $0.99. However, I am unable to copy this application to my iPhone. The version is 2.0.2. The country is set to India in both iTunes Application on my PC and on iPhone.
    The applications tab displays the application that I purchased, but its greyed out. I am unable to drag & drop it to my iPhone.

    The normal way to transfer apps to the iPhone is not "drag-and-drop". With the iPhone connected and selected in the device list of iTunes, click the Applications tab, then select the app in the list (or select All Applications), then click Sync.

    I am installing PeopleTools 8.53 with Oracle Database Server 11gR1 and OS Oracle Linux 5.10.
    Data Mover Bootstrap and Application Designer can log into Database instance successfully. My procedure to run PIA is below:
    Step 1: start Oracle Database Server and LISTENR is listening.
    Step 2: start Application Server ./psadmin and 8 processes are started.
    Step 3: start WebLogic Server PIA /opt/PT8.53/webserv/PT853/bin/startPIA.sh
    In Browser, http://192.168.196.102:8000/ps/signon.html comes up successfully. But when sign in using UserID PSADMIN and password "myname", I get the error message in Browser as below:
    The application server is down at this time.

    I think the error is indicated in TUXLOG file "ERROR: Jolt client (ip address 192.168.196.102) does not have proper application password". The application password "myname" in Browser http://192.168.196.102:8000/ps/signon.html page is not working. I use the same password "myname" to login Data Mover Bootstrap mode, Application Designer, and Application Server psadmin configuration successfully. I have tried a few other passwords in Browser http://192.168.196.102:8000/ps/signon.html page but not working.
    My question is:
    How to solve Sign In issue on http://192.168.196.102:8000/ps/signon.html that is "ERROR: Jolt client (ip address 192.168.196.102) does not have proper application password" ?

    Hello. I have used the same password for "DomainConnectPswd" in the file Configuration.properties with that for Application Server setting. Eventually, UserID PSADMIN sign in http://192.168.196.102:8000/ps/signon.html successfully. PeopleTools 8.53 runs correctly in Browser.
    It seems that whether upgrade Oracle Linux 5.0 to the latest 5.10 does not have effect !
    I am very grateful to your great help for this installation of PT8.53 with Linux and Oracle Database !

  • Changed Apple ID password and now Iphone 6 having issues

    I had to reset my password when signing into my apple ID and now my Iphone is having issues.  I can not use imessage. Under settings, It will not allow me to turn it on.  Also under settings my facetime and iCloud are greyed out.  I can using os8.1.2  What am I missing?

    I had the exact same problem and this solution from another thread worked for me:
    "I was able to fix it by entering another email address even though it was wrong/invalid. Once I got the "incorrect email/password" message I then re-entered my actual apple ID and it finally took it. Make sure FaceTime is enabled and working first."
    In the FaceTime App, I entered a fictitious Apple ID and password. Then it actually signed me out. After that, I entered my AppleID and my new password and it did verify my email address.

  • IPhone 3G Will Not Connect To Home Wi Fi Password Issue

    I discovered a solution to a password issue that I did not find a solution to here.  I am posting it for karmic equity.
    I have a brand new CISCO N wireless router set for WEP.  I did not have security on my old router.
    When I tried to join my secure wireless network, iPhone 3G would not accept/ recognize my new network password ("Unable to join the network ....").  Even I entered the correct "password" I could not get on the network.  I could join onto the network as "guest" using my password but only as guest, and I had to go through the Safari browser,  Wi-Fi Networks, Choose a Network.... would NOT work as guest
    To connect iPhone to the password secured network (and it will automatically join in the future:
    GOTO Settings
    GOTO Wi-Fi Networks
    GOTO Other Network
    Enter name of your network
    GOTO Security
    Select your security (mine is WEP)
    GOBACKTO  Other Network
    PASSWORD:  !!!! Not my "network" password!!!!   Its actually my "wireless key" which is like 8476G29765.  CISCO refered to it as the "PASSPHRASE".  My password only gets me into the router, or connected as "Guest" but not connected to the network.
    Note please that I could long onto the network as "guest" using my password, that was something like "password".  Again, to log onto the network I had to use the kryptic "8476G29765" passphrase that my router generated, but I entered it in SETTINGS / WiFi Networks/ Other Network....
    Other methods may work as well, I dont know, but this worked like a charm.

    Try restarting your WiFi routers by removing power for 30 seconds. Note that WiFi is not automatically fine just because some devices may be working with it.
    On your iPad use Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings
    Try to connect.

    Some apps allow you to do this with documents, photos, and videos but it is not possible to do with apps. Your best and only solution is to use the phone passcode.

    I am creating an iphone application using sybase unwired platform 1.5.3 .
    I have generated the code from sup and taken the required api's onto xcode in my project .
    The issue i am facing is while fetching data from sup .
    As mentioned on the sybase website , i have written the code in my delegate file .
    It works fine uptil i subscribe to my database eg [abcDB subscribe];
    after this there is a step as follows :

    It does not come out of this loop
    Tried lot of things from the sybase website and searching on the net as well but none worked .
    Please help me on this as i am not able to proceed because of this issue .

    Hello Rockky,
    In a SUP MBS-based application, you should never block the main thread with a busy loop as in your example.  In the SUP documentation this is done just as an example.  Rather than blocking with a busy loop, wait for the appropriate notifications using the call back handler.  In your case, you should call subscribe and let the method continue.  If you are displaying a progress/loading view that must be hidden after all data is pulled down to the device, you should hide this view when you receive the onSubscribeSuccess notification, or more appropriately, the onImportSuccess notification which will be called after all data has been pulled down after subscribing. 
    Relying on the call back notifications rather than busy loops frees up the main thread keeping your UI responsive.

    It's not a Verizon reset - under General and phone there is a place to reset my password however I can't do it without cellular turned on.

  • Captivate 7: where is the "Enable SWF for conversion to iPhone application" publish option

    I'm part of a team of 20 people who are currently using Captivate 5.5 and evaluating updating to Captivate 7 or finding a new tool.
    A critical part of what we produce are iPad conversions of our Captivate/Flash software demonstrations.  We do the conversion using the Adobe Developer Tool in the AIR SDK to convert our SWF files to iPad applications.
    Captivate 7 is missing an option that we have in Captivate 5.5, "Enable SWF for conversion to iPhone application".  Without this option we cannot convert to iPad applications using AOT mode but are forced to use Interpreter mode.  Interpreter mode results in unacceptable performance for anything with motion such as segments with Captivate Full Motion Recording clips.
    Is there a workaround that will allow us to compile in AOT mode?  If not we will most likely not upgrade to Captivate 7 but will continue to use Captivate 5.5 and search for a different tool.

    Even as of Captivate 7, there are too many restrictions on object types that can be converted. One example that comes to mind is rollover captions.  We use these extensively and they don't work with Captivate 7 HTML5 output

    You can achieve it by publishing the course through "Adobe Captivate App Packager 7". Please don't select the 'Scalable HTML output' option during Captivate publish as the HTML5 output may not work well on Ipads.
    We need a solution that works when an iPad is offline such as wandering around a show floor.
    You meant, you need an offline solution to track 'Reporting or Completion'? If that is not the case then again "Adobe Captivate App Packager 7" solves the issue.
    We prefer a solution that doesn't require additional software to be purchased for each iPad.

  • Developer Application Provisioning Issues -- Only one app at a time?

    _The upshot:_
    You can have one and only one developer provision and developer application on the iPhone at a time otherwise you get installation errors (i.e. 0xe8000001).
    _To fix:_
    Use Xcode Organizer to ensure that you have one and only one application and provision installed to the iPhone that uses your developer certificate.
    _To any Apple people:_
    If I am wrong about any of this, please let me know. I have wasted 3-4 days over the past 2 weeks due to these issues, and any explanation would be well received! Having one and only one application and provision installed to the iPhone fixed the 0xe8000001 issues for me.
    _Long winded explanation:_
    It turns out that I am working on multiple iPhone applications at the same time.
    Each application has a different AppID (as registered on the iPhone Developer Portal).
    I have spent quite a bit of time having major issues with Developer Provisioning and application installation from within Xcode and Xcode Organizer, which led me to not be able to debug my application on a live iPhone.
    I finally discovered my problem: I can only have one app and one provision on the iPhone that uses the same developer certificate.
    When swapping between Xcode projects if I remove all provisions and applications using Organizer and re-add only the provision of the application I am working on, then the install errors at build time go away.
    Samples of install errors that manifest themselves using the 0xe8000001 code:

    These errors seem to be occurring because of an install time check against the installed provision files to verify the app, and it seems the provision from an already installed application is being used.
    This is probably occurring because the main developer certificate has to be the same between the 2 applications. As the scan through the provisions is occurring, the certificate of the new app matches the certificate from the already installed app, and the provision check fails due to different App IDs.
    There is one and only one developer certificate allowed per iPhone Standard program.
    I hope that this helps some other people out there with their development provisioning and debug / installation errors.

    This is why you should create a wildcard developer certificate (com.youcompany.*)...follow the directions in the program portal. Then you can then install all your apps on your phone.

    Recently I've been having problems with my roommates watching me enter my password which forced me to change it periodically.
    Only now I can't remember what I changed it to most recently and restoring it to factory settings isn't really an option considering the volume of the content on the device.
    I've been without access to my phone for the past week and it's getting almost aggravating having to call and talk to some lady about the issue I'm having, having her sound very empathetic and saying they could "assist me in resolving this today", only to have her say that I'd need to pay $30 just to have her tell me a few words.
    I don't have $30 right now and I think it's beyond stupid that they're 'unable to help' me because of this.
    In the Backups section of the Apple site I read:
    " If you protect your iPhone or iPod touch with a passcode, you will be prompted to enter the passcode when you connect to iTunes. Once you successfully enter the passcode, iTunes will recognize that device as authorized and you will not need your passcode to back up or sync (Which I've done). When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode.) iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups. "
    I've just tried restoring from a backup I created last week but my password is still enabled and I'm still unable to remember what I changed it to.
    I'm not sure if I misunderstood the bolded section but I was under the impression that restoring it from iOS 4 or later would remove/reset my current password and allow me to set a new one. That hasn't been the case.
    I'm not really sure where to go from here, so any and all help is appreciated.

    I tried using devactivated function of flash.display.STAGE.

  • Trouble with autofill putting in wrong password each time

    When going to a site in safari, e-mail and pw is filled in, but it is always the wrong password. I delete it and enter the correct password and enter the site, but the next time the password is wrong again. Any help to fix this problem is appreciated
