IPhoto does not see my iPhone 3G (since 3.0) on G5 but does on MacBookPro
I have repaired permissions from start up disk, used Disk Warrior, rebuilt permissions within iPhoto.
My PPC G5 1.8 just will not see my iPhone 3G since I upgraded yesterday to 3.0. iTunes sees it fine.
My MacBook Pro iPhoto sees iPhone as normal. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Itunes 9.2 does not see my iphone 3GS
I have now reinstalled itunes 9.2 3 times in order to download the new software verion for my iphon. First it kep saying there were files missing so I reinstalled and reinstalled. Now I can see my library in itunes but it will not see my iphone, nor will it charge the phone. I have used different USB ports and iphone connectors all to no avail. Can anyone help please?
The same thing happened to me and it took me days to figure it out. Check the USB drivers. I noticed after updating/uninstalling/re-installing itunes 9.2, windows would update the latest drivers to my iphone when I connect it for the first time. It did this every time. Windows kept giving it a generic camera driver. Although it recognized it as an Apple iPhone, make sure it finds this driver: usaapl found in the c:\program files\common files\apple\mobile device\drivers folder (Windows Vista 64-bit)

Why doesn't iTunes 11.0.4 not see my iPhone 6.1.3?
I have the iPhone 4 running on iOS 6.1.3, my iPhoto sees the phone as a digital camera. iTunes how ever does not see my iPhone so that I can sync them together, I've had my phone for about 2 months and have my tech friends look into this and tried everything but reformatting my MacBook Pro. Does anyone know how I can get my iPhone to set up as a new phone on my laptop or to at least get iTunes to see my phone? Please help.

Even though I plug in, iPhoto can't see my iPhone 5S device. iTunes sees it, sometimes even if it isn't plugged in, but iPhoto is not seeing it. This also happened to a friend who repeatedly connected and disconnected until it was recognized. That hasn't happened for me yet, and it sounds like a bug that needs fixing.

I figured out the fix for the Mac users having this problem. I connected my iPhone to my iMac and started iTunes. A dialogue came up in iTunes, I OK'd that and then OK'd the usual "Do you trust this Mac" that comes up on my iPhone.
Suddenly Image Capture launched itself and there were all my photos, ready to be downloaded.

There are two separate steps you will need to take in this situation. The first thing I recommend you doing is following the first attached article to help you resolve your iPhone not showing in iTunes when connected.

I am using Iphone 3gs. Last week I updated my itunes to latest version, although I couldnt not update my iphone OS since the download fails saying error 9006. For last 2 days all my Iphone applications fail to open except the default ones. Any solutions?
Download a free app and try again, you can delete the free app afterward.

Have you tried a couple of USB cables? And are you using the original cable that came with your phone?

I have not updated my iPhone 4 since the IOS 5.1 update. Can I now update it with the latest software even though I am missing other updates?
When going to your software updates on your device it will provide you with the latest available update for your device.
the iPhone 4 will update to iOS 7.0.4 provided all other updates the device is asking for has been completed.

I read that it could be the cable do I went out and bought another but it is still not working?
Neither itunes nor iphoto open when I plug in my phone, however when I open up itunes manually, it recognizes it. Any suggestions?Launch iTunes, then connect your iPhone to USB. The iPhone will prompt you, if you trust this computer. Confirm that you trust it.
Then try again to import to Photos.
If "trust" was not the reason, try a different USB port on your computer. -
My computer and itunes app do not see my iphone when I plug it into either USB port on the computer. The cable works because I can hear the iphone start charging off the computer. But there is no indication of the device in itunes or on my hard drive device list. Any ideas?

There is no way to view your photos via iCloud.com. Videos are not uploaded.
Photo Stream merely "pushes" the photos to your other devices. -

Windows 8 has not been officially released nor is it supported by iTunes.

They are free if you have activated a new iOS 7 compatible device since 1st September 2013. When did you buy and activate your iPad and/or iPhone ? If on or after that date then try logging out of your account on that device by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if it then shows as free on it
