Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I originally had two libraries in iPhoto, my wife and I share two iMacs at different locations but we wanted to share the photos and it was set up this way Apple Geniuses at the store I have no idea why. Anyway, I updated to OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.3 with the new 'photos' app. It asked me to choose one of the libraries and evidently I assume I must have chosen the wrong one. It only imported 322 random photos, not the 10,000+ we had in iPhoto. I can no longer find these photos or the other library anywhere, it appears to have been deleted. I have tried 'alt' clicking the icon which used to open a 'choose library' box, but this no longer works in photos or iPhoto. I have no idea where it has gone and it contains precious memories over the years including the birth of our children. Can someone please help???

Since you are sharing it between two Macs, is the library on an external drive or a NAS, or another remotely mounted volume?
If the library is not on a directly connected disk, formatted MacOS Extended, move the original iPhoto Library to a directly connected, correctly disk.
And the try first the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools on that library. Repair the permissions, and repair the database in iPhoto. Then try to migrate again to Photos.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First Aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair Permissions". And then repeat, but select "Repair Database"
But make a current backup of your iPhoto Library before you try this. -

Please help!I lost my contacts too after upgrading. The numbers remained under recent calls and messages, but there was nothing in my contacts list. If you synced to the iCloud, you can retrieve your contacts by turning off syncing contacts to the cloud… save the (nonexistent) contacts on the phone. Then turn syncing to the cloud back on. It worked for me… they all returned and repopulated the names to the messages and recent calls.

So I plugged in my iPhone 5 to my computer for the first time and I accedentally pressed restore. My wife has a iPhone 4s and has plugged in her phone to the computer many times to sync. So when i restored i got all her photos and lost mine which were very very importent. So how do I get my photos back?
Unless your photos were backed up somewhere, they're gone. They were wiped off your phone when you restored it from your wife's data.

The z key and y key have switched places on my keyboard! How do I switch them back?

I opened the iPad this morning and the z key is where the y key belongs and visa versa! I checked all the other apps that need a keyboard they are all messed up too! Does anyone know how to move them back or why this man have happened?

FYI: The globe key only appears if you have more than one keyboard active (ex: both English and Emoji - or another language). -
Does anyone know it the Recorder apps only works in the U.S.? I think I made a mistake buying this to record some phone conversations for work and now I cannot record a phone call to a number in Spain. I mean my phone number is Spanish. Please help. Can you return an app if you are not satisfied?

What do I do? Deleting the app does not help.
You can't delete Safari from your phone. Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure Safari is turned On. If it is, look through all your screens and inside all your folders. (If you are running iOS 6 you can swipe your screen to the right to bring up spotlight search and search for Safari; if it is inside a folder, the folder name will appear to the right.)
If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so. -

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. Prior to loading 1OS7 it was easy to force quit applications that were still open by double clicking and seeing an a red "x" you had to click on.

Did you restore your phone with itunes or check new phone. You can always reconnect with itunes and restore your phone to old settings and it should replace everything because it is on your computer

Just updated to ios6, tried to update an app and now its stuck "waiting". Like that for 24 hours, mail is OK, web browsing OK but cannot unblock the apps thing. any ideas?
Try update using iTune (Check for Update; see bottom right)

You have probably downloaded the standalone version and installed it. It will have to be removed,, and then you will be able to install from the CC application manager.

The prompt to connect to iTunes is automatic, but not the restore process. You must manually select restore. There is no automatic restore.

Read the link I provided. Had you done so, you would know you do not have to re-purchase apps when re-downloaded.

Unless your contacts were synced with a supported address book app on your computer as designed and intended and your contacts were included with your computer's backup, or unless your contacts are available online with a free Apple iCloud account, with a free Yahoo account, or with a free Gmail account with all providing the ability to sync contacts over the air, your contacts are gone. -

Thanks but I've reinstalled V4 until V5 is stable and more or less working the way I want to work - not the way some programmer thinks I should want to work.
You know change is OK but only if it makes things better for the user Change shouldn't be made to make the developer feel good about his/her expertise. For me V4 was Good. V5 gives me too many issues to deal with - I just need a relatively simple browser (and I guess I'm not the only 1 out there that feels like this). -

Did you fail to import your photos before updating? If so, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup. If that fails then they are gone. You should regularly import photos to your computer, most especially before any update.
Did you fail to transfer any purchases on iphone ( that were not on your computer) to your computer before updating? If so, then you will have to redownload:
