IPod not updating! HELP!

I need help desparately! Whenever I plug in my iPod to update new songs that I have downloaded, iTunes shows that it is updating, but once iTunes shows that it has been updated and I disconnect my iPod, the new songs are not on the iPod! The songs are still saved in my library, but they will not update onto the iPod.
Also, two similar warnings continue to come up on my computer:
iTunes.exe - Corrupt File
The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes\TempFile is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility.
AND
a30:iTunes.exe - Corrupt File
The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes\PhotosFolderPrefs is corrupt and unreadable. Please run te Chkdsk utility.

ITunes Not Responding and Ipod not Updating

Everytime I connect my Ipod to the usb, it shows up on itunes and as a drive. But when usually the ipod should be updating, it brings up a window saying itunes isn't responding,giving me options to send the error report or not, and then no matter which i choose, itunes closes and ipod does not update. Even if I reopen itunes, the difficulty happens again.Please help. I have updated my ipod with the latest updater and reinstalled iTunes.

IPod not updating with iTunes

When I plug my iPod into the computer, it is not updating with iTunes.
The software version on iTunes is 1.2.1 and is the same on my iPod.
I did have a relapse last evening, as my iPod got confused. It stalled, so I had to drain the battery and recharg it. When I plugged it in today to the computer, it is not updating with iTunes - and I did update it to 7.1 version of iTunes, but the software version still says 1.2.1.
It also says my ipod is up to date with iTunes.
Please help.

New Ipod not updating or been seen by Itunes

Yesterday I bought a new black Ipod Nano to replace the one that got broken in a freak accident. I plugged in the new Nano into my PC, go the popup stating the software on the Ipod needed to be updated. So I went ahead and ran the Ipod Updater. Then distear struck. During the update process, my PC got restarted. My Ipod got rebooted during this time. Now it will not Update/Restore or even be seen by Itunes. It shows up as a drive under Explorer (E:). While it is plugged in the PC's USB port, it displayes the "Do Not Disconnect" icon, however no updates are happeing. When it is not plugged in, I can access the menu on the Ipod. I have went through all of the "Five Rs", AND when that did not help; followed the directions in the article "Ipod shows up in Windows but not in iTunes" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93716 but nothing has changed. After uninstalling Quicktime/iTunes/iPod Updater, restarting my PC, clearing TEMP folders, restarting my PC again, then reinstalling the latest Quicktime/iTunes/iPod Updater, then restarting my PC again (getting bit tedious with all the restarts), I still cannot update my iPod Nano or transfer music to it. HELP! Right now my Nano is just a brand new 270 Euro paperweight.

Since you was in the middle of updating when the PC rebooted, your iPod software is corrupt, even tho this artical talks about seeing the apple logo and the iPod not turning on, it covers damaged iPod software which you have to have cuz the update never completed before your PC rebooted

Powershell will not update-help

Update-help doesn't work. Update-help -sourcepath "D:\update help" also doesn't work. I manually downloaded the files and put them in that folder since the live update fails, but even that won't work. Pasting error message:

Yes, it is in administrator mode. Last time I tried using update help it worked.

IPOD NOT SYNCING HELP

After I updated my itunes I am unable to sync my ipod to it. When i plug my ipod into my computer I receive a message from itunes saying there is a problem and i need to uninstall and re-install itunes and i've done that several times and i've tired using different ipods and i get the same message someone please help

when i upload a cd onto itunes and it goes into my library, i plug into my ipod and let it connect and hit upload ipod and it acts like it's uploading but when it finishes, i go to my ipod and see if the cd uploaded onto the ipod and it hasnt.

well I did those steps without it plugged in the first time and nothing happened at all and then I did them the second time with the ipod connected to the computer and it worked. What should I have checked on my preferences for my Ipod then? Currently, "enable disk use" isn't checked.
And something odd just happened when I got out of the preferences window. A box which hasn't popped up before just now came up saying about another library. A couple weeks ago, my friend took my Ipod and hooked it up to her computer to see if she could get her songs from her library onto my Ipod but when a box came up saying something about deleting the curreny songs from my ipod, she cancelled the entire thing. Could that have anything to do with why my ipod wont update now?

I just downloaded iTunes 7, and now when I plug in my ipod, iTunes doesn't come up. Even if I open iTunes, I doesn't "sense" my iPod. I doesn't show up on the list and the "Sync iPod" option under the "File" drop down menu is all greyed out. I also tried using the iPod updater program and it said "Invalid iPod service version". I'd really appreciate some help.

Error message: Ipod will not update HELP!

I have reset and restored my ipod mini and I am still running into the same problem. When I attempt to add music to my ipod i get an error message and the upload stops. About 100 songs will go onto my ipod but no more than that. Im using a powerbook and I havent had any troubles before. Please help!

Error message: "Attempting to copy to the disk (ipod name) failed. The disk could not be read from or written to. "

HELP! iPod not updating like this Apple product should!

Here's the deal. My iPod's main "home" computer is elsewhere. I quit going there some months back. For the past month or so, I have been updating my iPod on my own computer by dragging files into the iPod icon in iTunes while the whole time it would show "DO NO DISCONNECT".
I've been able to do that for quite awhile now. Last night I added the official SmackDown! vs RAW 2007 album onto my iPod then went to workout at the gym. I did NOT drop my iPod or do anything to it last night after it's last "update".
Then last night I wanted to add/drag a song onto my iPod but it quit showing my iPod's icon on iTunes under DEVICES. I tried restarting my iPod many times an reconnecting it but no improvement. I then clicked the harddrive icon for the iPod under "My Computer" and told me it has not been formatted. I clicked format and it said something I will lose all data and I did NOT pay $200 just to get screwed over with errors like this to lose everything.
I don't understand why my iPod won't play/update on my computer anymore all of the sudden.
Another problem. Now when I connect the charger line (connected from my computer) into my iPod, it's not showing "Do Not Disconnect" anymore.
I'd like to know what I could do without getting screwed over by losing loads of money on multimedia purchased on a product that (HOPEFULLY NOT) did nothing but eat away my money.

Ipod not updating songs, but disk space is still used? HELP

Okay, I got my video ipod 30gb on my birthday june 2 and it's worked fine all this time. Yesterday, i accidentally unplugged it while it said 'do not disconnect' and now all my songs are gone, but it still says 4.94GB / 22.89 used. There are no error messages popping up or anything, i have tried to restore my ipod and it cleared it, so i thought okay and i redownloaded all 800 songs i had and put them in the ipod. Yet when i unplugged it (this time the right way) it still showed i had 0 songs 0 everything! How do I fix this? Do I need a new ipod?

I have the same problem, but in addition to that I got another problem. When I realised that my iPod suddenly was empty I connected it to the Mac, but then a picture appeared of a magnifying glass and a disk, and a progress bar. I guess this is some kind of disk check program. The problem is that the progress bar stops at about 90%!
Since this process is started every time I connect to the computer, I can´t restore the iPod.. What am I supposed to do now?

IPod not updating cuz I'm not authorized to play some songs on my computer

I updated to the newest Itunes version, but my ipod won't update with the songs that I purchased from Itunes. It did update the songs that I burned from a CD.
The error message is: Some of the songs in the ITunes music library were not copied to your IPod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer.
I went to advanced --> Deauthorize computer, and tried to click off of the top setting, which is "Deauthorize Computer for Music Store Account" but could not click off of that.
