Is there no sound period? I mean nothing through the headphones or the speaker? If the sound works only through the speaker or just through the headphones the switch inside the headphone port maybe stuck open. Try plugging and unplugging 10 to 12 times to unstick it. If no sound at all, go into Settings>Music>Volume Limit. See if it is turned on, if so check that the limit is not turned down to zero. If still not the problem try a soft reset, press and hold the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release. if still no joy go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. If still no joy, connect to iTunes via the cable and Restore to backup. If that doesn't work Restore to new. Just remember to save all your stuff that can be wiped before you restore, pictures, music, contacts etc. If none of this works, then maybe a hardware issue contact Apple Genius Bar or store and have your iPod evaluated. Yes, but the first time you sync with a new iTunes library it will delete any iTunes media an apps from your phone and replace them with the media in the iTunes library your are syncing with (purchased apps and music can be redownloaded for free: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).
When you get to work, connect your phone to your computer, then right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and choose Restore From Backup.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I personally think that your best option would be to create a link that opens DIAdem and then runs a script to load the data from a predetermined file (Rather than a link to the file itself).

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output andWi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Can I access a label inside of an MC and then go back to the main time line

Here is my current set up.
I have a labeled section on main time line which has icons of 12 different videos. Each icon acts as a button and brings a user to a labeled section with a FLV Video Playback component impemented to play the corresponding video. These labeled sections are located on the main time.
This methog makes my main time line very long. Is there a way to make an additional MC which will hold all the video buttons and then have this MC separated into labeled sections.
In other words can I access a label inside of an MC and then go back to the main time line?
My present code for accessing the label located on the main timeline is:

Oh, WOW! It is working perfectly now.
My mistake was that I was specifiying the var sourceVar:String;
for every single button. It was not clear to me from the first example that it has to be specified only once.
I made a small test Flash file and everything works now. It still doesn't work on my big flash file, I guess some other code messes it up and I can' not figure what it is exactly.
I would like to include the OUTPUT error message in hopes that you can spot right away what a mistake could be:

I have similar set up with UILoader. Where different buttons set up to bring a user to individual labeled sections with individual UILoader. Should it be arranged in the same way that it is only one loader and "var sourceVar:String;" code is the one which brings up different content for each button?

Apps and many other purchases are tied to the iTunes Store account via which they were purchased. So if you buy the app, that app is tied to your iTunes Store account. Without that account information, the child could not update the app nor back it up.
I'd also suggest giving the child an iTunes gift card or gift certificate along with the iPod. If the child is too young to have and manage his or her own iTunes Store account, then his or her parent could set up an iTunes Store account to purchase the apps. That could be done with that gift card and not need a credit card. You can also gift specific apps, though again that would require the child or a parent to open an iTunes Store account through which to redeem the gift. For more information on gift options, see:
