Download iOS 8 once and upgrade all iPhones at home, how?
Is it possible to download iOS8 only once and use it to upgrade all iPhones at home?
I tried the following methods and they are just not working:
1. Connect an iPhone to the iTunes on Mac. I chose Download Only. Once downloaded the iPhone Software Upgrade, I upgraded the connected iPhone to iOS8. Then I connect another iPhone (used to be on another Mac) to the same iTunes. I had to download iOS 8 again. It's not using the same downloaded iOS 8 file.
2. I turned on the Caching Service (not Software Upgrade Service, i.e. for Mac Software) on the Mac Mini Server from the Server app. I then repeat step 1 above and got the same result. It seems that the Caching Service does not cache the iOS 8 Software Upgrade like what it does for other apps. (I think I may need to use some Apple Scripts but I have no such experience.)Ivan H wrote:

I agree with Csound on that, a family, even with a lot of devices will have to individually update. There are enough nuances in the iOS for different devices that you need to download for each. If you had 200 iPad 2's then there might be an enterprise way...but not a family with a mix of devices. -
Okay so i had an iphone 5. I backed it up on icloud. Then i got the new iphone 5s i restored ot from icloud from my previous iphone 5. Now everything works find execept now the games are slowy and drops the frame rate and look choppy. Then i restarted my iphone 5s as a new device downloaded the same apps even the ones optimized for ios 7 and the games still lag. And i just got my iphone 5s replace. The funny thing is. While im playing games and their running choppy and slow and if i take a snap shot inside the phone. They run smooth and HD but just for a few seconds and boom they go back to slow and choppy. Is it the ios 7 or the iphone 5s it self? Like i said this is my replacement iphone 5s because the other 5s did the same thing. And it was running slowly.
As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you. -

okay. when i connected my iphone 5 to itunes it replaced all of the data from my old iphone 3gs (contacts, apps, notes, bookmarks,photos, music, everything you can possibly think of) with my new iphone 5's data. I am so frustrated with this. Why? and it did it by itself, i didnt touch anything, or clicked anything. please help me this is urgent! I am a businessman and need my contacts.
You're iPhone was probably set to automatically sync with your iTunes upon plugging it in. Best option is to restore from a backup, either on iCloud or your computer.

I am trying to un-jailbreak my iphone 4
My nephew jailbroke it when I was at work. It is stuck on a little skull in the shape of an apple! I have tried everything and keep getting code error 3419. I even uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it! Help!! I now have no phone
Try this:
1. Close iTunes.
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer and then launch iTunes.
3. Turn your iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone).
4. Then, hold down the sleep/wake button and home button together for EXACTLY 10 SECONDS, then release the sleep/wake button.
5. Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected. When you are in DFU mode your iPhone screen will be completely black. Remember that if you see the restore logo, iTunes logo, or any message on the iPhone screen, you are not in DFU mode but standard Recovery Mode.
6. Hit the OK message that should popup to restore your phone.
Fair warning: Apple warns that if you jailbreak an iPhone, you may NEVER be able to install a stock iOS back on the phone. If the above doesn't work, you can try an Apple store. They may or may not help you...jailbreaking voids all warranty & support.

I jailbreaked my iPhone 5 and now i don't want the jailbreak any more so i restored the iphone without iTunes and then it turned it self off and now its stuck on the black screen with the loading sign. So please how can i turn my iPhone on again?
I figured it out by pressing the home button and the off button but when i turn my phone on again it's not restored. And when i try to restore it with iTunes it has to update but i can't update my phone because it's jailbreaked but if i can't update it, it won't restore the phone.

okay I will turn my iPhone 4 off then hook it up to my dell laptop in it will turn on but it will not charge and my computer wont install it on my computer can somebody help me please
yes it will charge otherwise places with the apdotor but when I put the just the wire in my pc it will not work it wont even be recognized by the cumputer (I know its not the wire because its chargeing now in a outlet ) iam try to reset it in the cp and itunes will not recognize it in the link did not help either

hey guys, im in need of seriously help. i let a friend jailbreak my iphone and now its jus stuck at the apple screen. i tried rebooting it and everything but nothin is working. does anyone have any good advice?
put the phone in DFU mode (do a search for how to do this) and restore to the latest firmware. you may have to download the firmware from apple and when selecting restore or update in itunes press the shift key and select the firmware.

Hey all, I've had a Core 2 Duo e6600 running on a 975x Platinum PowerUP edition since august now with 2 GB of memory. I recently added an additional 2GB. I understand that I may never actually see all 4gb of memory in Windows as I only have Windows X
