Is it possible to display GPS info from a COOLPIX S800c in Aperture 3?

To see the GPS locations display the image in "Places view", while connected to the internet (you will see the images locations as pins on a map).
To see the numerical values edit the "EXIF info" metadata preset in the Info panel to include GPS:
Or simple us the Lift&Stamp tool to lift the tags from your image:
It will show the GPS value, if the image has tags. This tool can also be used to transfer the GPS tags to other images without GPS.

I think I was having the same issue - after all I found out that when importing photos via Lightroom, I was overwriting the GPS information by "updating" the metadata by using the preset I used to use for my scanned film photographs.
Check the following:
When importing, on the right hand side you see "Apply During Import"
If you have the "Metadata" section "None" then this is not the solution for you. But if you have something else, make sure that you go into "Edit Presets" then UNCHECK "GPS" section of it.

Is it possible to display unrelated info without using a subreport?

Hi,
I'm trying to create a report that displays 2 different sets of information without using a subreport.
The first section of info (the part I'm having trouble with) is simple displaying the info in the db. It is just the differnt security settings of the system.
The second section of info is each users info and their personal security settings. This part is not a problem and displays correctly.
How can I get the first section to be displayed at the top of the report without it affecting the second section which uses the group header and details portion of the report? When I try and put it in the Page header it throws off the second section and causes the information in the details to be repeated multiple times.
Is it possible to do this without a subreport? I'm using Crystal Reports 2008.

Have you tried selecting the "Select Distinct Records" box in report options.
Maybe this has nothing to do with your problem but I thought I would throw that out.

As you can see the GPS data isn't there only date, time and version, does it use Image Unique ID?
I downloded Picassa and Google Earth, the details didn't show in Picassa and nothing came up in Google Earth when trying to view it from Picassa.
Have I missed anything? as I don't use Picassa or Google Earth normally?
Edit: I have also had a look at all the metadata using Exiftool and no further GPS data is available.

You can update an order or CRM form (attached to order) via the webservices API, you can send any and all the data you need. You'll have to setup a system a middle man server (or use your existing backend) to download the order and match it to the BC order and on a timer or when the data is available from your other system update the order on BC. I've done this with for a customer and Fedex to give real time tracking numbers within 1 min of the order placed.

No, it is not possible. All purchased items under one Apple ID are permanently connected to it. They cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. You can, however, repurchase the items under your new Apple ID.

Query Microsoft Active Directory info from PL/SQL

We are developping an APEX application that would need to query information about the enterprise computers defined on the Active directory. Anyone knows it would be possible acces to this info from PL/SQL?
I ahve read that exists a package that enables manipulate COM objectes (http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/win.920/a95499/ch3core.htm#1006978)
and I know that they exists COM interfases to Active Diretory (they are named Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI) ) but I have no idea if its possible to succesfully merge these 2 concepts.
Has anyone tried to query Active directory info from PL/SQL using COM components or any other method?

Why not use DBMS_LDAP? That is what APEX's (built-in) LDAP authentication module uses. And it works just fine (doing a bind call) against a MS Active Directory Server.
As for mucking about with COM from Oracle.. me no like. That ties your Oracle and PL/SQL to a specific operating system and you loose of the biggest advantages of Oracle - portability. Worse, you are at the mercy of the o/s vendor sticking to whatever standards used. In the case of Microsoft, that means mostly proprietary "standards" and very likely changes in those "standards" with every new version of the o/s - which will break your software. (personal experience talking)
Rather let Oracle deal with the o/s complexities and restrict your code to using Oracle features only, as far as possible.

from company's server using Sap Client when laptop is connected to company's network. Also if it is possible to

Well, as far as I know it is not possible to make it automatically using SAP Business One Client, but we have made a wrapper for standard client that might help.
The idea behind is to create two (or even more, if required) connections in Skybuffer SBO LogonPad and then to click the connection that you would like to start (either local server or remote server that is accessible at company network).
Additionally, it is possible to open two SAP Business One Client instances that are connected to two different servers from one machine simultaneously with help of Skybuffer SBO LogonPad, but I have never tested how stable the connects are, so please be careful with this. But in case of read only access (like you've mentioned - dashboards display), I can say that it is safe enough.

Playhead info for imported video clips is static/constant in iMovie 9 as I scroll over the clips. Is it possible to make it display correct info?

HI, I have been importing videos clips from a SD card to iMovie 09. These clips are analyzed for animal behavior and the timing information for a specific event is critical for proper analyses. Most of the times, the imported clips display correct timing information for a given frame as I scroll over the clips. However, sometimes, some clips show a static or constant timestamp for all the frames in a clip and the timing information doesn't change in the playhead as I scroll over different frames.
For such clips, I was wondering if it's possible to display correct timing information for the frames, and how? Since I only need frame timing info relative to the starting point, I am open to a solution that involves readjusting starting timestamp.

Several ways to do this.
I would scrub to the in point of the audio you want to change, then drag all the way back to the beginning of the clip. Then EDIT/SPLIT CLIP or right-click/Split Clip. Then go to the out point of the audio clip and drag to the right to the end of the clip. Then Edit/Split Clip. The clip in the middle should have your 25 minutes of audio.

There's a bug in iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks that affects slideshows played directly from an album. The slideshow will not play correctly if the photos have been sorted manually. Any other type of sort, date, rating, keyword or title, will play correctly.
If you need that manual sort of pictures for your slideshow create the slideshow in iPhoto's slideshow mode.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been playing around with some of the classes of the java.net package and java.io
Using the URL class i can get the content of the data from a STATIC page and output that response to file so that is does not display to the client broswer.
But this only works if the URL i give points to a static html page.
So the problem i'm getting is if i'm righting in arguments in the URL, this means that server needs to process the arguments i give and its sends back a dynamic result. Because its dynamic the URL class can not handle this and throws me an exception everytime :(
Have u ever tried to do some things like this?
