Is it possible to fully automate FP RT configuration tasks?

I have been asked to develop an LV app that will let my customer automate all of the work associated with setting up a new FP-RT node.
Is it possible to programatically control Field Point Explorer from LV?
Some of the things I would like to automate are
1) Setting IP of new FP unit.
2) Upgrading firmware.
3) Configuring FP I/O.
The final "dream app" will allow my customer to hire someone off the street to plug in new FP units and then punch "GO".
If it can't be done, let me know.

It is not currently possible to control FieldPoint Explorer from LabVIEW. As for the automation of your specific tasks with the tools that are available today;
1) No.
2) No.
3) Yes. There are Developer Exchange Postings on using DataSockets to speak to Ethernet Modules. You can use DataSockets to browse to and configure the individual channels on each module, then issue a snapshot command.

We're using Citrix Webinterface 4.0 with Citrix Java Client for remote access users (working at home). This works fine with Java 1.4.2_10. It does NOT work with MS Java VM or Java 1.5.x. So we need to ensure employees have Java 1.4.2_10 installed at their home pc's. We do not have administrative control over these pc's. Therefore we need to push the Java 1.4.2_10 software from the same webpage as their Citrix Webinterface login.
QUESTION: I would like to create a hyperlink on the Webinterface login page where users can click to FULLY AUTOMATICALLY download and SILENTLY install the Java 1.4.2_10 software (and NOT the Java 1.5.x which is (non-silently) available at http://www.java.com/nl/download/ie_auto.jsp !!!!!)
How can this be accomplished?

The url is sometingh like this (this is correctly loaded, but it could be longer)

Firefox should have problems with long GET data appended to an URL (long would be over 64k).<br />
If there are problems then it is possible that an extension is the cause of that.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Is it possible to add automatic insertions in a RH 7 template?

I'm new to RoboHelp and to HTML altogether, but learning quickly. I'm developing a help system with both General help and How to's. I was wondering if it possible to add automatic insertions in a RoboHelp HTML 7 template, as you would in a Word .dot with macros, or if I need to repeat creating tables and numbered steps all the time.

Okay, clearer now what you need to accomplish.
You could take a couple of approaches.
Approach one - Create a topic and define a table. Configure as you would like to see it. Then when you need it, you open the topic containing the table, copy it and paste it where you need to use it.

In SharePoint 2013 is possible of translating automatic the column name of custom columns with machine translation services or it is necessary create resource files or source site and target site?

Hi,
When you create a column, the name you enter is just a constant string. SharePoint does not do translation based on known words. Internationalization is based on resource files.
Here are the steps I would take for creating international-able columns through the browser:
Create the column with the name you want as the internal name (ie, no spaces or symbols to avoid
_x0020_ and other encoding replacements).
Edit the column by changing the column name to a resource string that you know if defined in each language you want to support.

"The payment received from the customer within two days from the date of biling.Automatic Credit note to be raised when the cheque gets deposited into bank.Cash discount is payable as % of assessable value.In case the deposited cheque gets dishonored the credit note to be revered by way of debit note and thereafter the dealer does not remain eligible for further cash discounts in future".*
Example:
Incoming Payment 1000.00 INR , This payment comes with either through Cheque, DD,Cash.
But it should be cleared with in 48 hrs. then only Discount is available other wise not.
Above Operation need to Fully automatic.
how to map this scenario in FI-SD ?

For example Sales order is created in CRM, transferred to R/3. bcoz of some problems order is not posted successfully in R/3 . Any possibility of getting automatic alerts for Bdocs Instead of doing manual (checking) bdoc monitoring using SMW02/SMW01.

This is very much possible and though a very simple transaction:
Tcode: SMW00 Error Handler
Select 'Error Action for a Specific BDoc Type'
Press Execute
Press Maintain Configuration button or press F9
In the next screen, you can specify what BDOC types you want the alert to come for, what status of BDOc should the alert come for, the error action can be set as Workflow or Mail
Select 'Mail'
Select the Typr of reciopient (e.g. B Sap User)
Enter the recipient (User name)
Check Express for an alert to popup
Cehck always Process
SAVE and Execute
These settings will help you get an email and an alert popup whenever a BDOc fails

6D requires lenses with an EF mount. You list your lens as an EF (the mount style) 24-85 zoom so yes it will work but it may not provide nice crisp images on such a modern high mpixel camera. The newer bodies show the weaknesses of older consumer grade lenses.

Automatic replication of Configuration from R/3 (ECC) to CRM 2007

Hi all,
We would like to set up an automatic replication of configuration maintained in R/3, e.g. Customer group 1, Payment terms, Incoterms, etc.. in order to secure consistency between R/3 and CRM as well as reduce work load.
As I understand, Customer data (customer_main) is supported by SAP but how about Configuration entries?
Is it possible?
Is it standard?
What is the way forward?

Earlier I have General Task list Group:22, Group Counter:1, with Planning Plant:0001 & now i want to change/update new planning plant 0002 instead of old 0001 in the same task list.

Its not possible to change the Planning plant , You can delete that task list or you can put deletion flag on it, and go for new creation

Guide me how to automate UME LDAP Configuration

Hello colleagues,
I am not sure if this is the right place for putting my question.
We wanted to automate 'UME LDAP Configuration with Microsoft AD', because we have nearly 25 portals and has to be refreshed for every 3 months from different systems. Instead of configuring UME every time, we wanted to automate it such that
it can be done by one click for each portal.
I am not aware, if it can be done through Webdynpro or Java API.
Please let me know in which way we can achieve this functionality. If it is in Java then please let me know how to access UME APIs. Moreover Configtool will not save its data at O.S level, it stores in DB.
Please guide me on achieving this.

I could not find any APIs for LDAP settings in Configtool.
I wanted to set these values ( which are specified in above link ) from out side.

I have Cisco call manager 8.2 integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Unified Messaging.
Call manager has primary and secondary server. I created a sip trunk and linked primary CUCM with Exchange. Users can leave and get voice mails.
Problem: In case that primary server is down (WAN is down) the users registered on secondary server but they cannot contact to Exchange Unified Messaging.
I added new UM Dial Plan with the same pilot and associated it to the secondary CUCM server. UM answered but do not recognize the extension number "is not a valid mailbox extension".
Is it possible that Exchange UM could be configure with two call managers over the same sip, the same pilot number, different associated UM servers and get access to the same voice mail boxes?
If not:
Does exist a way to configure Exchange UM that will work if one CUCM server is down?
