Try SOAP instead of RMI. They both do the same thing, namely remote-procedure-call, but RMI requires Java on both ends, while Soap is cross language.

  • Is it possible to install two GUI version on same server??

    Hi all,
I am facing a typical problem.
I am using ECC 6.0 on Solaris server and accessing through CITRIX where SAP GUI 6.4 is installed.
I have got Internet Explorer 7.
Some dumps are cumming like message_server_x
Then I went for SAP GUI 7.1 in which error is not cumming.
There is only one CITRIX server at this moment and users from all the location is using through this on live system. They are not getting such issue.
But we the new project team is getting this issue of dump.
Now the question is whether it is possible to install SAP GUI 7.1 seperately on the same CITRIX server where SAP GUI 6.4 is running???
    Thanks in Advance
    Souren

I do not have knowledge in the field of CITRIX metaframe, i'm only can advise you read about the
"Application Isolation Environment" (AIE) --> For example read in http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX109664
. May be it's help you. The best way update your 640 version. Regards.

  • Is it possible to Integrate dos with Java to create a sample compiler?

Is it possible to Integrate dos with Java to create a sample compiler, or do I have to write the compiler from scratch? In theory, I would like to have users enter sample code in a java text field, hit a java button that would compile/run the code, by calling a dos command prompt that would run it, and display any error messages back to the java text field. Does anyone know if this is possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Compiler class you might be able to use also:
    C:\jdk1.3.1_01\docs\api\java\lang\Compiler.html
So perhaps there is no need to create a process to compile code. But I don't know if you can get information about compiler errors.

  • Is it possible to login into the Java instance without password's input, using only my Windows workstation authorization?

    Dear Sirs,
I try to do an authorization to my NW 7.3 Java instance through my Windows domain authorization.
    I done:
    1) Create connection to LDAP-server and tested it.
    2) Add windows domain certificate to TrustedCAs
    3) Configure SPnego
Now, I can to login in my NW7.3 Java instance with my windows password, but however I must to input password when I open NW7.3 Java homepage.
Is it possible to login into the Java instance without password's input, using my windows workstation login/password?
What I have to do for that?
I use Windows XP on my workstation and IE 8.0.6 & Chrome 38.0.2125.

  • Is it possible to use WMI in Java

    hi,
Is it possible to use WMI in java.We can use C# code to fetch Windows information using WMI,but is it possible to do the same in Java?

One easy solution is to generate a vbscript, launch it and capture the output.
    Example at [http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-0580.html]
ok, it's ugly but unless you want to go with JNI then it's worth a look.
    Bye.

    Hi,
is it possible to cal web dynpro java application using j2ee portal application?
If possible, how can it be done the parameter mapping over context area?
    Regards.

you can just append parameter to the url as usual.
you will write some code in the controller to get the parameters and set them to the context.

  • Failure with embedding GUI java app into VC++ MFC app

I have the GUI Java application, wich I wish to be embedded into MFC application. But VC traces the message about unhandled exception and message "HEAP[app.exe]: HEAP: Free Heap block 3c40418 modified at 3c40438 after it was freed. Unhandled exception at 0x77f9193c in app.exe: User breakpoint." I had builded short tests. So console win32 apllication with gui java works and gui mfc without ui java too. Loading and unloadig the JVM is implemented in InitInstance() and ExitInstance() methods of main MFC app class. Which native thread is "main" for JVM is stored and verified when JNI-functions are called from another native thread. Java gui as it's own message processing thread which shouldn't confuse the native MFC one. Every Java-class method JNI-call is provided by exception checking. I'm at loss where to dig. Could you give me any hint, please?

Well, I missed the right place for my post, sorry. It should be placed at "Native methods"...
I had selected JVM 1.4.2_08 (it was 1.5.0_04 at first) for running Java part and the failure had gone away. Though I can't unload JVM DLL before exitting correctly anyway cause my program uses OLE and jvm.dll unloading provokes the memory access exception at awt.dll through ole.dll down the call stack. The test Java program works, but sometimes mouse cursor doesn't change it shape. It happens with Swing tables. There are no faults with columns exchange or cell editors activation but mouse cursor remains "arrow" when cell editor is active or I change the column width with mouse.

    Hello Friends,
Is is possible to create Socket using Java Stored Procedures/Function in Oracle? No, Oracle was very careful to take that feature out of the JDK provided in Oracle 10/11, but you can buy that feature back for, if I remember correctly, about 5000 dollars. (I actually raised a service request on this and then told my rep what I thought about the answer I received--some thing along the line of money grubbing so and so....)
How I can send a message from oracle to Java Desktop Application which is working like server program? You can make a table and poll it from time to time from the Java side and write and commit what ever you want to the table. I do not know any way to send a signal from Oracle DB an external Java application--Java or PL/SQL stored procedure.

Your DB connection is probably failing
As a result your result set "rs" is null when you get to it later on, causing a null pointer exception.
Do you need to provide a username/password for your database?
Have you configured your database to allow connections from localhost?
If you haven't already figured it out, doing SQL programming in a JSP is bad practice. Put your SQL code into a java bean / class where it belongs.
