Is the cash on tap app broken??

Hi I received my new NFC sim last week, after a long time it was finally activated the other day and I was able to access the cash on tap app and set it up. But when ever I try and do anything with in the app like add one of my cards the app crashes. Even if a reboot the phone I will get sorry the was a hicup with the server message when trying to open cash on tap. Is the app currently screwed at the moment on android? I havea S6. Cheers Richard

Is the native weather iphone app broken?

I got my iphone 4s back in May this year, before the first update the native weather app used to show my EXACT location with no issue. Back in October, the weather app stopped displaying my exact location and now just says "London" even when travelling around London, the location dosen't update to where i exactily am.
When trying to find my location manually in the app, i type the exact name in and it also comes up with (LONDON, GB)
Is anyone else having this problem?

Is the "Find My Friends" app broken right now?

Last night I tried using "Find My Friends" and then it bumped me out of my saved login and said incorrect Apple ID or password (even though I am using the correct login info). I had been using it fine before this for a month. Now I'm trying to login, and it either continues to say the login is incorrect or it just gives no response after pressing the Sign In button.
I can login to www.icloud.com using the exact same account just fine.
I have been using the same account for both my iTunes store account and my iCloud account.
Is there anyone at Apple listening? I think you have a major bug in your servers.

I turned the power off my iPhone completely this time, then after powering back on Find My Friends allowed me to login.
This Apple app has a bug that is cleared by recycling the power.
Reminds me of Windows, how it sometimes needs a complete reboot to fix the OS bugs. Looks like Apple has the same thing going on with the iPhone a little bit.

Cash on tap crashes the card reader

I have had cash on tap since the beginning of the year and by and large it has worked quite well. There are some contactless readers that don't seem to accept payments this way but most do and so I decided to enable auto topup and use it more regularly. Since using it more often I have twice experienced my attempt at using CoT leaving the card reader inoperative. In both cases the phone vibrated and I thought it was going to work but then I looked at the reader and the payment hadn't gone through. I tried again and then tried a contactless card followed by using chip and pin but the reader had become unresponsive. The first occasion was in Costa Coffee and the second in Tesco. I don't know if it occurs when the phone's RAM is constrained and whatever service on the phone that handshakes with the card reader doesn't launch. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is there a way to avoid it? Has there been an update to the Cash on Tap app (not the wallet app) since February? Mine is version 2.0 and maybe there have been some updates. I have turned the auto topup off but have just read on this forum that there is a monthly charge if the service is not used for more than six months so I will have to keep using it. Until Android Pay comes, CoT is a good solution and has the advantage of not requiring a PIN to be entered. However, I'm a bit nervous about using it now.

I would like to use your cash on tap services through the tap wallet app. I keep getting a Web portal coming up as sorry something went wrong please call 150 for help. And when I do I get told the cash on tap services is not available through the cash on tap team, via a customer service representative when they call the team, when the website says it is available on my phone since July 2013. The cash on tap team doesn't want to help me and just say it's not available to get me off the phone.
This is poor customer service.
My phone has been out since April this year and surely the app should be available by now.
Before upgrading I had an s4 which I had cash on tap on, then something went wrong, I then uninstalled and tried to reinstalled it then samething happened as above.
Please help.

Cash on Tap - Unknown Error Code During Application Installation "-507"

I get the above message when trying to install the Cash on Tap on my LG G3 running Android 5.0 Lollipop. I also got the same error when trying to install it under the last release of KitKat. My G3 isn't the UK version D855, it's the South Korean version which is an F400S [software version F400S20g]. It's the genuine F400S rom and not a custom build [obviously customised by LG though] and not rooted. I appreciate that this device isn't on EE's supported list. But I'm curious as to what the requirements are for this rom to run, and if anyone else has encountered this message and succesfully found a fix?

First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

Cash on Tap Problems

When I ordered my phone (Galaxy S6 Edge), it was because I thought Cash on Tap would be a working feature. But then when I received the phone I was told the phone wasn't compatible with Cash on Tap yet and to wait a few months when it should be ready. Fine. So I find out that Cash on Tap is ready for my phone, so I download the app, and it says that I need a compatible sim card! I order an NFC-compatble sim card to make it work. I wait a few days, the sim card arrives and I install it. Oh no, it isn't just a case of switching it over you have to register the sim card (even though I had to give all my details when requesting an NFC sim online), so new sim out, old sim back in. And the sim card works after a while. So I can finally see Cash on Tap in my Tap Wallet, and click to download it. I do so, and then get directed to a webpage saying the service is being provisioned and it will be set up within a few hours? Anyways, 3 days pass and it still doesn't do anything. So I downloaded it again and after a few hours it did eventually start opening up. It looked quite nice, easy enough to use and navigate, add a payment method and top up my Tap account with some funds - great! So I put £20 on my account looking forward to using it at a shop and open up the app, and get an error message "The server has had a hiccup, please try later". It's been 5 days like this, I have tried to log back into the app and all I get is the server hiccup message. Is this a glitch? Is there any way for me to get my money back? Or is there any way I can spend the money? I was really pleased to have Cash on Tap; it was one of the draws for me to move to EE from Three (I've been looking forward to NFC payments for a long time!!) alas it does not work. Pretty sucky. On a side note, I set up Apple Pay on my friend's iPhone 6 yesterday, and it was really simple. You open the app, enter some card details and it starts working. Didn't have to order new sim card, wait for a mysterious network provisioning nor face a server error warning whenever the app opens. CSC: G925FEVR2POGN tl;dr: I'm repeatedly getting a "Server had a hiccup" error after entering my pin on Tap Wallet - can't do anything with the app after the error message. Anyone know how to fix it?

- Reset all settings

Why is there no "SEARCH OPTION" in the Windows Store? Apps missing be nice if I could find them !

Since on this journey from Win 8 consumer preview to Win 8 retail preview ..And no currently trying out Win 8 Pro...It verified if it was gonna give me back ( allowed to re-download ) the apps I was used/had in previous editions. The Store gives you
a selection of YOU APPS from previous versions of the OS preview of apps you installed and currently would want to reinstall. Various versions of the Consumer preview I installed 2 out the 4 times i installed the OS seen I had installed the app Comixology.
When the first time I installed Retail preview it didn't have it in my list nor was it listed in the store! Same goes with Iheart Radio and Slacker Radio though numerous installments of the OS. Now trying out the Win 8 Pro 9200 version It showed I at
one point no matter what PC I used ( I own a few and bought a new one recently ) It showed at one point I installed Comixology. Yet it didn't show Iheart Radio or Slacker in my install list of old to reinstall nor was it even in the Store!!!! \\\So
what the hell gives ????? I mean If there was a SEARCH Option it would make it easier to track these Metro ( whatever they are calling it now -personally I think they should call it FRAMES as in Window Frames :P When you go on these
programs sites they only offer up Apple or Android app downloads and nothing mentioning of Metro or Win 8 -which is understandable due to not being released yet but still if the Store can't comply with your history of app install base ( paid or free ) and
you can't have the ability to retrieves said apps you once installed how can that be trusted if and when paid apps are bought if you are only to reinstall the entire OS and find that your app is not obtainable via offered through the main store or even in
your downloads app install history. I hope they fix this issue as it's been pissing me off since this whole testing thing!!

Sorry if I offended you by using an anecdote - the actions of kids are simply an easy way to explore the actions of adults. Growing up doesn't change base instincts. Most people (myself included) tend to have an immediate distrust of change when
it is not change that they are instigating, when it is forced upon them. What better example is there than a child, where many big decisions are made for them?
As for the new interface, I didn't catch on until it was revealed to me (or I hit my head against the wall, can't remember), so I'm not saying it is easy. Better education is needed, but going back to the old way doesn't help. The five or six
questions I have answered today are questions that I myself had, and wished someone had answered for me. This is a
drastic change from old versions of Windows. I even told my boss yesterday that I can't see his company (I'm a contractor) switching any time soon - too much new stuff to learn. That being said, once there are some good training tools available,
I do believe that this OS will be a good choice - it does feel more intuitive after only a few days of use. A training course is likely necessary for new users, however my guess is that this will wind up being a beneficial change (long-run)
for IT departments, because the system does feel more aimed towards the casual user. No matter what program you use, the search and settings are in one easy place.
I admittedly do not have a lot of files in my Skydrive, however the file that is there is purple, while the folders are blue. Not sure if all files are like that, and I really do not have the time to explore those differences. That being said,
the number in the bottom-right seems pretty self-explanatory, the number of child elements in the container. I barely remember the old Skydrive interface, however I do remember it felt clunky. Whether or not the changes are a true
improvement, it does feel more streamlined.
Metro (or whatever it is called now) is confusing. It is scary. (My word, not yours, nor am I trying to imply it.) It is definitely
different from the past. But it makes sense. Same interface on every MS product: Xbox, Windows, and Phone. Microsoft didn't exactly
pioneer this idea, either. Apple has been creeping in that direction for a while now. As I said previously, I can move around faster in the new Start menu than I could in the old, and I can actually do
more without ever putting a hand on the mouse - for anyone that is waist-deep in computers, regardless of their specific job, that tends to be a
good thing.
There are a lot of growing pains here, for both Microsoft and the consumer. Has MS gotten it right? Not yet, not entirely, but the goal is clear.

functionality, then I wouldn't disagree with you. There is plenty of that, and I think it was a bit foolish of Microsoft not to have a Connect site up for such things. (If I'm wrong on that, and there is one, please point me that way. I'm
still stuck with Explorer.exe crashing from click-scrolling.)
As for disliking the big changes, well, I can't agree with you on that at all. Again, it wasn't an easy transition, but now that I'm here, I don't want to go back. I want the true
bugs fixed, but not having a search bar seems more like being stuck on old ways of doing things than a real problem. That kind of thing can even lead to puking.
