  • HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 want to use wireless

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) want to use it wireless.
I have an Apple Macbook laptop (mine), and an IBM thinkpad laptop (from my company that I keep with me).
How can I use the all-in-one wireless with both laptops - what equipment do I need and where can I find it?
    Thanks

You need to have wireless router if you want to connect both wirelessly. The printer has no built in wireless radio so you need to connect it to the wireless router using a LAN cable. And before you can do this, you need to setup your own network first. You need to call your router manufacture or your ISP to setup your own wireless setup network.
For addtional information on setting the printer up on the network, you might find this link useful.

  • Can't install the software for the HP Officejet Pro L7700 because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.

Please help I can't get this software to load and now I cant use my printer

Right I done this in the end
Having spent 30mins with Apple Support this is what worked:
Finder select GO, computer, MAC HD, Library, Printers, HP
Dragged the HP folder to the desktop as a back up
Dragged the HP folder to Trash
    Restart the mac
Make sure HP printer plugged in via USB (not wireless)
Apple logo , software update, selected the HP update (triggered by the fact that the cable is connected to the printer)
    Installed the 1 item
Verify we could print with the wired connection to printer
    Disconnect USB cable
System Pref , print and scan
( existing printer will show as red i.e. offline)
    Click on add
There in the list was the wireless version of the new printer
    Tested it works wirelessly

  • Software Conflict between HP G4050 scanner and HP Officejet Pro L7700 all-in-one

I have a Sony Vaio pc, OS Windows 7 HmEd 64-bit (updated), using Norton 360 (updated).
My pc and a Mac are both connected wirelessly to the Officejet Pro L7700.  My pc is connected to the G4050 with a USB cable, as the G4050 does not have wireless capability.
The conflict is: (I initially had L7700 installed on my pc, and all was well) After installing the G4050, all worked for a while, then I go to print/scan, and receive error message that neither machine can be found, (though both are installed).  So, will uninstall and reinstall one or both machines.  It works fine for a while then, then same thing.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times in a year.  There is a conflict with the sofware of the 2 machines.  All other software on my computer works fine, and if I'm using only one of the HP products all works fine - the conflict is the software for these 2 HP products TOGETHER.
    1. Is it possible to successfully use both of these machines installed on a pc?
    2. Do I need a patch, or how can I make this work?
Currently, I just have the L7700 installed and working great, but very soon I need to (again) install the portable G4050 to scan negatives and prints.
Please help!  I love HP products.  How can I get these 2 to work together?  If not, what else can I do?
Thank you in advance for a prompt response.

Hi , Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you cannot get your HP Officejet Pro 8600, and HP Officejet Pro 6600 printers to work on Windows 10. And, I am happy to help!  According to this guide, Windows 10 Compatible Printers, both printers are compatible with Windows 10.  So we will need to do some troubleshooting steps in order to get them to work.  Some questions for you:  To verify both printers hardware is functioning standalone, are you able to make copies using the scanner glass? Copying a Multipage Original.Do you see any error messages on the computer screen or any of the printers display screens? In the meantime, please try the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and post the results! Hope to hear from you soon!  “Please click the Thumbs up icon below to thank me for responding.”

  • OfficeJet Pro L7700 Slow to print

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro L7700 Series printer that is extremely slow at printing, and causing the print spooler service to pause or freeze for several minutes.
    - All the clients are running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
    - I have tested printing via an ethernet cable as well as wirelessly
    - I Have installed the latest driver from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=ca&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=2512...
Here's exactly what I am experiencing:
When I click print test page the properties window of the printer freezes for 30 seconds to one minute. If I move the window around it says its not responding. Approximately 1 to 15 minutes later I receive a message that the print job has been successfully sent to the printer, and then the printer prints the page.
I have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling the software and driver as well.
    Any thoughts/suggestions/comments are greatly appreciated.
    Adam

    Hi @VexedHPUser
    Perhaps the Microsoft Fix it utility will help;
    What it fixes
You are unable to install a printer, connect to a printer, or print more than one job at a time
You receive an error indicating your Print Spooler service is experiencing problems
You receive an error indicating your is not the default printer
You receive an error indicating: cannot be contacted over the network
Identify if your printer is turned off
Identify if your printer toner is low or empty causing your print job to appear faint or it does not print at all
Identify if your printer paper is low or empty
Identify if the printer has a paper jam which is preventing it from operating normally
Identify if a print job that is in the print queue is preventing other print jobs from printing
Identify if you need to update your print driver
You receive an error stating that your Plug and Play printer %PRINTERNAME% has encountered a driver problem
If the issue persists, I think it might be a good idea to reach out to the Microsoft Community.

  • How do I print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

How do I  print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

I have spent hours figuring out how to print a t-shirt transfer since my new HP printer doesn't seem to allow for mirror image printing (yet my old HP printer easily let me select this feature).   Here's what worked for me, using Word 2010:
Create the text and insert any images  into the document as you normally would.
Go to Insert / WordArt and chose a style of lettering (I don’t think it matters what you choose since you will be cutting and pasting the data from 1 above).   A text box will appear and a new "double-decker" tab will appear at the right (Drawing Tools on top and Format below).
Copy what you created in step 1 and paste it into the text box.
Click on the Format tab (the cursor must be inside the text box for the Format tab to be visible).
Choose Text Effects / 3-D Options and then 3-D Rotation Options.  A dialogue box will open.  For the X value, enter 180.  Do not enter anything for the other values.  Your image should have rotated to mirror image.
Click Close and save your document.
You should now be able to print your document as usual.
    Good luck!

  • I live out in the county where WiFi is not available.  I don't have internet either.  I have purchased the ipad2 and have been told that I can print from the ipad2 directly to the HP Officejet Pro 8500A eprint all-in-one.  Is that true?

I would like to be able to print from my ipad2 or my iphone4 directly to a wireless printer.  I don't have WiFi at home or internet.  I am able to get my emails and use the internet thru both these at home.  Will I be able to use them to print? Any suggestions which printer?  I was told that the HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A eprint all-in-one should work and wouldn't have to use a router.  I don't want to go purchase this and try to set it up if it won't work thru the 3G network.

I was only able to print one page and then both my printer and my computer would display an error message about the printer's inability to print.  Since then I've been able to resolve my specific problem.
    I
    1. uninstalled HP from my computer (checked to ensure that my printer was no longer visible in my printers and the HP Utility software was nowhere to be found),
    2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
    3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.
This is where I got my 2010 update from (obviously you should get the driver/software applicable to your OS and specific printer):

    Hi RiverBirch,
What brand and model is your router?
First, connect your printer to your router.
    1. From printer front panel, press Wireless>Wireless Settings>Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the onscreen instructions to successfully connect your printer with an IP address.
Secondly, connect your iPad to the same router.
    1. Connect your iPad to the Internet and download the free HP ePrint Home & Biz app from the apps store.
    2. Connect your iPad to the same network as the printer. Settings>Network.
    3. Use the new HP Home & Biz app to print and scan photos or docs from your iPad!
Alternatively, you can also perform Airprint on the iPad thru the wireless network from the Photos menu in your iPad.
Please click the blue Kudos star in the post that helped you.

    Hi a,
    http://www.mctiviausa.com/
There has been "talk" on and off of Apple TV doing it (and people have done it with a hack), but I haven't really followed it.
It would be a whole lot cheaper getting an adapter (as needed) and cable and simply pluggin it in when you're in the kitchen.

  • Does the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 support e-print? I am running on Win 7 Pro 64 bit

Can you please tell me: does the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 support e-print?  I cannot seem to find or generate or figure out how to create an e-mail address for this printer.  Thank you.

    Hello BoPeepLamb,
The OfficeJet 8600 Printer does support ePrint. You can access the printers email address by enabling Web Services from the main display on the printer. The icon is located on the top left corner of the screen and looks like piece of paper with circles behind it. Before you can enable Web Services you must make sure you have a valid internet connection first.
Once you have enabled Web Services, you should have a mobile printing sheet print with a printer code and link to http://www.eprintcenter.com where you can create an account and customize your printers email address.
