Is there a 30 Pin to HDMI connector?

I would love to be able to connect my Verizon iPhone 4 to my new HDTV. Is there any way to connect it to an HDMI connector? I saw component and RCA adapters, but no HDMI (which would include sound). Does such a connector exist?

It may work but the mirroring only works with the ipad 2.

30 pin to HDMI now not supported?

I Have a 30 pin to HDMI connector and I now get the error "this device is not supported" when I plug them in. Is there a way to fix this? It just started to happen and I can not fix it.

UNfortunately there is no way to fix this, not even with the newest iOS 8.1 --- i hoped iOS 8.1 would have solved the HDMI screen mirroring problem, but i was wrong. I suggest to inform Apple of this problem by writing to

My iphone no longer displays anything through the HDMI connector

I purchased a cheap 30-pin to HDMI connector (big mistake) but was able to see my iPhone screen on my TV. I then added a Lightening to 30-pin connector so I could display my girlfriend's iPhone 5C screen on the TV. But I had problem taking these two connectors apart and the end of one of them started to come apart. Pushed it back in. When I then tried to display her 5C screen, nothing worked. Then I went back to my iPhone 4 and it also no longer worked. I thought the cable was bad so I then purchased a genuine Apple 30-pin to HDMI connector and Apple Lightening to 30-pin connector. But I still don't see anything on the TV for either of the iPhones BUT my iPad 2 does display data on the TV. Conclusion: Did I short out something in both iPhone internal connectors? Has anyone ever see this kind of problem? BTW, both phones can still be charged without any problem.

I'd start by calling VZW support. They are really good in a situations like this. I work with them a lot in the Enterprise space. Sounds like your network/roaming settings are messed up.

I am a bit frustrated with the fact that I purchased all of the adapters/connectors for my iPad 2 back in the day - and now all are pretty much worthless with the iPad (4th gen.)
The iPad g4 uses the new lightning connector. OK. So, I bought the updated adapter (lightning to 30 pin). HOWEVER, it does not allow the Apple HDMI connector to work... "This accessory is not supported by iPad"
I have to buy yet ANOTHER adapter: the Lightning Digital AV Adapter, and drop $49.00???

Since I upgraded my iPod Touch 4G, the HDMI connector to my TV (that I bought from Apple) is no longer supported. Can this be corrected in a short period? Thanks

A bit of a problem, when you buy an accessory to be able to watch videos on any HDMI enabled TV....
Too bad that nobody checked on it before releasing the OS...

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

IPad 2 hdmi connector no longer works with iOS 7.3

Hi any one else had this issue? I have always connected my iPad 2 to my tv via a apple made hdmi connector, used mainly for fils on netflix eat. Since firmware updated to 7.3 this no longer works. Is this anther apple issue? My wife has an iPad 3, pre lightening and the "official" adapter has never works just get a message that states the attached accessory is not supported.... Any ideas anyone???

I have an ipad 2 running ios 6.0.1 and an older Dell TV (1080i) and have always been able to mirror. Running ios 5 the mirroring worked perfectly for sound and video. Don't remember if I tried while running 5.1. Now that I have 6.0.1, I can still mirror, but the whole screen is pink on this Dell TV. When I make the connection from ipad to the tv, mirroring starts immediately and the notification bar on the ipad home screen pulsates from blue to black and the cable is detected. I have sound and video working fine except for the colors. The ipad detects the AV Composite cable under settings>about but there is no TV out setting under General Settings where I'm supposed to see TV OUT listed under iTunes Wi-Fi sync. I have changed the hdmi to a new one, but it didn't help. I also have a new Panasonic Viera tv and everything (with the same cables) works perfectly on that TV. Leads me to believe it's an issue with the TV OUT function of the ipad. I don't know if any of this is helfpul information, but I thought it might help you narrow down what is going on with your setup.

No signal in my Samsung tv when I use HDMI connector?

Hi. I have a problem with the Hdmi connection to my iPad 3. It doesn't work in my Samsung tv, it says " there is not signal". I have tried it in another one, same brand and it works. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Will Apple make a 30-pin to lightning connector that will work with a case?

Why did Apple make the 30-pin to lightning connector useless when you have a case on your iPhone 5/5s? The lightning connector part isn't long enough to fit inside when using Apple's own cases (i.e. the new leather cases for the 5s). Does anyone know if there are plans to correct this mistake and lengthen the connector?

From the reviews on Apple's site, the cabled adaptor does NOT work with Apple's own case - the lightning plug is too fat :-(

Will sky go work with iPad 3 hdmi connector

I have no probs with utube using air share, and there probably is some protection with sky that stops
me doing this but I was to buy a hdmi connector would this allow me to show sky go on mt tv.

In the photo the connector looks the same, BUT in the "Compatibility" section it only lists iPad 1 & 2.
Other accessories have listing in "compatibility" section for iPad 1, 2,& 3, I thought this might be incompatible as iPad 3 isn't listed.
I don't have a problem with the cable I have { I don't think I do, anyhow } I am wanting to have the extra cable in my Lounge room and one in Bedroom.

IPad 2 hdmi connector problem

Just bought a hdmi connector tonight with the intention of watching Netflix. Video works great. However, the audio is not working. Static is so bad I can't hear anything. Is there a problem with my setting or is my iPad defective???

The 8 pin Lightning connector can only output 720p and lacks all iPod Out functionality unlike the full iPod Out functionality and 1080p that the 30 pin connector has and I suspect that they are coding iOS 7 specifically for the new devices which have severely reduced abilities and perhaps skipping adding the code needed for 30 pin devices to use their functionality with HDMI, etc.

IEEE1394 to HDMI Connector for use with Onlocation

Hello Everyone,
I want to use Onlocation with my HPX170 and HP laptop. My laptop does not have a IEEE1394 port - it only offers USBs and 1 HDMI port. My question is can I use a IEEE1394 to HDMI adapter thereby allowing me to hook up the hpx to my laptop? I tried searching Markertek with no results - I don;t even know if there's an adapter out there that goes from IEEE1394 6-pin to HDMI. Has anyone every tried this? Thanks for any insights!

I don't know if such a beast exists ( an IEEE/HDMI converter) but even if it did, I seriously doubt it would work as OL is designed to ONLY accept input over the IEEE1394 port.
However, don't give up. Your laptop certainly must have either a PC Card or PCExpress slot. IEEE 1394 cards for both are readily available and will do the trick. Last one I bought was under $35 for an Express version, and I've paid as little as $15 for the older PC Card version.

Quick question on 8-pin ATX Power Connectors

First, I am very VERY new at building systems. I was building a Athlon 3800+ X2 system with a MSI RD480 Neo2-FI motherboard and ran into a 8-pin ATX Power connector. Unfortunately, the 450 Watt PSU that came with my Antec Sonata II does not have that plug. The Computer Renassaince guy told me to just plug the 4-pin into the mobo and it would work (personally, I think he is nuts). Question, is he right? If not do I have to buy a new PSU or can I use some type of adapter?

You mean that there is a 8 pin connector on the mainboard is for cpu power supply and your own power supply doesn't have such a relevant
connector. If in that case, then the guy who told you to use the 4 pin connector is right, most of the time, it would work. You don't need to buy another power supply. Please firstly have a try.
