Is there a destruction event for context3d?

My app crashes when use ctrl-alt-del. I'm assuming the context is destroyed, however, is there a destruction event? Seems strange that there isn't...
I'ved tried to listen for:
context3DDestroy
context3DDestroyed
context3DRemove
context3DRemoved
to no avail -- anyone had any success with this?

status of the connection...
SabineAgreed - sockets don't throw traditional events as they fall outside the scope of the UI api.
Instead of going to the extremes - use Observable/Observer.
By extending Observable, you can provide an elegant seperation of functional code from the UI, sidestepping the whole UI lock which threading seems to introduce.

I need to recognize a change of the cursor properties by the user through the XY-Graph Cursor Legend! (i.e. changing cursor color)
There seems to be no event for that in my event structure (although there is a event for changing the plot properties through the plot legend).
I'm using LV2009SP1.

Watching the cursor-Property for a change would be no help because there are automatic changes that I do not want to catch.

Calendar icon displayed but there is no event

Hi, my LG Extravert shows the calendar icon indicating that there is an event for the current day even when there is no event for that day. Since it doesn't do this if there is no event the following day. I think I may have set it to show the calendar icon the day before an event but I can't find that setting anywhere.
Anybody know where that setting is or some other reason why it's behaving this way?

Thanks for the reply. I'm talking about the gray bar that shows alerts at the bottom of the home screen, above the icons for mail, phone, contacts, etc. For instance, if I have it set to vibrate only then there's a little icon of a vibrating phone. If I have it set to ring the icon is not there. Likewise if I miss a call, an icon appears in the bar. If no missed calls then no icon. If I tap on the bar I get a list of alerts showing, e.g., 0 new messages, 0 new voice mail, 2 calendar events, etc.
So my issue is that sometimes the little calendar icon is displayed on the gray bar but the list of alerts shows 0 calendar events for the day. It's a little confusing. So I'm wondering why this is happening.

Event for travel expense work flow "WS90000050"

Hi All ,
I am trying to configure standard travel request and travel expense application on ESS.
I am using two standard templates WS90000040 for Create travel request
and WS90000050 for Create Travel Expense.
But problem is that both workflows start with same event "REQUESTCREATED" of business object "BUS2089".
Since standard process says that once employee's travel request is approved then only he/she can apply for
Travel expense . But in this case both wf gets started through same event "REQUESTCREATED".
Is there any other event for create travel expense application ?

The built in Calendar app has very limited repeat options. You might want to try an app like Week Cal which has a much more robust repeating event selection. As it pulls from the same calendar database as the built in, there's no reentering of information required.

When you add an event to the Calendar.app of the iPhone 4 there is an "Alert" option which should give you the desired result.

I want to have a repeating event for every 5th Saturday, or 5th Sunday. Is there a way of doing that. I only see options for the first, second, third, forth, or last.

Click get into on the event you have created, click repeat, and then custom. You can then choose "weekly" every (5) weeks and which day of the week to repeat it on.

Try to reset the iPod by pressing the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.

Is there a ScriptUI/ExtendScript event for project load?

I have a dockable ScriptUI Panel that I want to load information from a project (I have looked into app.settings, but I think app.settings is for the application itself), but the ScriptUI Panels load before a project is loaded.
Is there a message/event that I can attach to to refresh my information? onLoad perhaps?

Well the label can only be changed when the VI is idle, so just read the label when the Application.state event is triggered.

Am I billed for periods where there are no events?

Assume I have a dev/test scenario where there are long periods of time when I'm not actively testing my code. If I have running jobs waiting for input and there are no events, am I billed for that time?

There are two meters for which your Stream Analytics gets billed [1]
(1) Data ingressed by your streaming job
(2) CPU memory used by the running job

So if you are not sending any events you will not be billed for (1) but you will still be billed for (2) since you have a streaming job that is allocated and running.
You will have to STOP your job in order to avoid getting billed at all

When previewing images by clicking on the thumbnail in an Event for example, I've been finding that many images preview in a 'zoomed in' way so only a small part of the photos is previewed in a highly magnified view.

Initially I could find no cause. Then I tried right click - Edit and on the affected images, always get this warning:
"Image Cannot Be Edited - This photo was previously edited with another application or with an early version of Iphoto. Duplicate this photo to edit it." and a "Duplicate To Edit" Button is displayed.
The external Editor defined for iPhoto is Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Now, I reckon the MUST be others out there affected by this same apparent Preview bug, yet my searches have not revealed any answers. Also seems impossible to find a contact number for adobe???

I need client side (to use Java script ) event for change in <h:outputText /> or <h:inputText...>.
I want to open a popup window when there is a change in there. I donot want to use onblur() for this. Is there any thing for achiev it.

Unfortunately I think you may be stuck extending Renderer. Another possibility is creating your component via a template, which will be available in JSF 2.0. However, as JSF 2.0 won't be out for a while... you can use JSFTemplating in the meantime:

An uneventful year... (aka no events for photos taken in 2006)

Have just installed iPhoto 08 and it has upgraded my library and created events for me.
However, no photos from between March 21 2005 and February 1 2007 show up in the Events or Photos views at all! I can see these photos in their albums but there is a huge hole between 2005 and 2007 everywhere else, and it only lists '830 photos in 30 events' at the bottom of the window (I know there are a couple of thousand normally). If i select all the photos in an album and ask iPhoto to create an event it pops up a confirmation, I confirm and it looks as if it has created an event (in any case it won't let me do it again, the option is greyed out), but I still cannot see these photos in Events/Photos.
I tried deleting the album in case a photos can't be in an Event and an Album at the same time but this resulted in not being able to see the photos of that album anywhere! Luckily I have a backup...
I have tried repairing permissions, rebuilding the library, and restoring the library from backup to give iPhoto another shot at it but nothing seems to work!
How can I fix this?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Threre are two ways to correct that.
1 - use the Photo's->Batch Change menu option to change the date to what you want AND write that date to the files as well.
2 - use the Photos->Adjust Date and Time menu option.
Both do pretty much the same. I've not figured out the real differences between the two but there's bound to be one. I've been able to do multiple photos at a time with each.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
